Challenges[]

Immunity Challenge: A River, Run Through It
Six members of each tribe will race across a series of sand hills and into a river to retrieve a raft with puzzle planks tied to it. When all six members of the tribe have returned to shore with the raft, the puzzle planks can be untied and taken back to the start line. The two remaining tribe members will assemble the planks into a staircase. Once all of the tribe is at the top of the staircase, two tribe members would work together to navigate a peg through a table maze, which will release the tribe's flag, giving that tribe victory in the challenge.
Winner: Lima

Story[]

Day 1[]

The viewer is introduced to several shots of exotic jungles and ancient Incan temples. A monkey is seen swinging across a vast canopy as a snake slinks its way around numerous logs and fallen trees. The focus finally hones in on two jeeps, similar to the ones from previous seasons, carrying sixteen people who are ready for a journey that they will never forget. Probst is seen standing at the edge of one of the many enormous cliffs located in the area, ready to introduce the new season.

I am now standing on the coast of South America, looking out towards the Pacific Ocean. Here in one of the most exotic, beautiful, yet mysterious locations in the world. Peru. It is known for its breathtaking waterfalls, thick rainforests, and beautiful people that inhabit some of the largest cities in the country. Within this beautiful landscape lies ancient ruins, hundreds of years old. The ancient ruins of the Incan people. For decades, the Incan empire dominated the land, conquering all other civilizations around them until 1533 when they were finally overthrown by the Spanish. And left behind were the ancient Incan cities that inhabit the jungles and coastlines. It is here today where sixteen Americans have already begun the adventure of a lifetime.

–Jeff Probst

The camera switches to a view of one of the jeeps, holding members from the lime green tribe. The focus is put onto a fit, young, man with wavy hair as he confidently assesses his surroundings.

Being out here, with all these wild animals and exotic plant life really brings it all home for me. To see that I'm finally here, that I'm finally in my element, confirms the fact that I'm here for one reason and one reason only: to win that million dollars and conquer this game. And there's no doubt in my mind that I have what it takes to do just that.(Grinning Confidently)

–Griffin

The view shifts to an African-American woman with a red top on while she looks around with wide eyes and an opened jaw as she takes in the environment.

I cannot believe that I'm actually out here. Like, what the heck? I'm an executive assistant from a wealthy family. People that are like me don't usually do stuff like this.(Giggling) But I'm ready for it. I'm physically, mentally, and socially strong and I truly believe that these qualities can help propel me through the game and show everyone that I'm not just some spoiled lady, I'm a survivor.(Smiling)

–Dianne

A shot is then shown of a bald, older, man who is seen breathing deeply and trying to maintain his composure.

My name is Andy Caveran, and I'm not only a huge fan of this game but I'm also a survivor of cancer. Dealin' with all the pain and chemotherapy was a hard thing to handle, but I got through it all right. And it has made me a much stronger person. I'm out here to prove to myself and my family that I'm still just as smart, savvy, and strong as I was before the cancer and that I can be a survivor of this game as well.

–Andy

The camera then shows Probst on the shore of one of the many Peruvian beaches as he continues speaking.

They all come from different walks of life, and first impressions are already forming.

–Jeff Probst

The view then focuses in on the other jeep that is carrying members of the light blue tribe. The camera shows a woman with pale, blue, eyes and brown hair observing the man sitting across from her.

Dear God, the confidence and cockiness that was oozing from the guy straight across from me was just nauseating. He's sitting here smirking like he's already got the game under his big thumb. But I got news for him, this single mother ain't gonna let that happen!(Snapping her fingers sassily)

–Julia

The view then focuses on the confident gentleman that Julia was commenting on as he brushes his long mane to the side.

I consider myself tailor-made for a game like this. I'm a natural leader, I'm physically fit, and I have this aura about me that just makes people lean in and want to hear more. People are gonna underestimate me as that crazy ol' circus freak who doesn't have a single brain cell in his head, but they're gonna regret that soon enough. One way or another, I'm gonna tame this game.(Chuckling)

–Leo

A shot is then shown of an older male with black hair as he passively, yet sneakily, observes and watches his fellow tribemates and takes in all of their reactions.

Back home I am a highly successful attorney and I pride myself on my razor-sharp abilities with people and being able to read them. The way they talk, the way they move their hands, even the way that they sit in silence, I can learn something from it, analyze it, and use it to my advantage. And I feel it is gonna be an asset in a game like this where there is so much lying and deception. I'll catch all of it, and if I don't, well, my wife and kids can make fun of me when I get home.(Laughing)

–Kerry

Waves are seen crashing onto the shore of the beautiful coast as Probst continues to announce the opening lines of the season.

It is the ultimate challenge. A group of strangers forced to work together while battling the elements and each other.

–Jeff Probst

A slow-motion shot of a young man with longer, brown, hair is shown as he is seen carrying various pieces of wood along the coast.

I didn't come out here to starve, sweat, and struggle without a little payoff.(Chuckling) I'm here for the million and the experience. And plus I can also check Peru off of my list of crazy places to explore.(Chuckling)

–Michael

The scene goes back to Probst as he continues to speak.

They must learn to adapt, or they'll be voted out. In the end, only one will be left standing to be crowned the Sole Survivor and claim the million dollar prize.

–Jeff Probst

A shot of an older woman is then transitioned in as she is seen doing a puzzle at a challenge.

I may be older, but don't think that that is gonna make me a sitting duck. Not only am I strategically smart, but I'm also tough as hell! There ain't no quit in this little ol' lady and you might actually be surprised at what I'm really capable of.

–Tammy

The camera then shows one final shot of Probst standing on the edge of the cliff once again, ready to bring in the new season officially.

THIRTY-NINE DAYS, SIXTEEN PEOPLE, ONE SURVIVOR!

–Jeff Probst

Survivor_Peru-1

Survivor Peru-1

The scene reopens as the focus is put on both of the jeeps containing the sixteen castaways of Survivor: Peru as both vehicles come to a halt. The drivers then instruct the contestants to get off the jeep and head over to their respective tribe mat. All the players do as follows as excited smiles and grins are seen on everyone's faces. The view is focused in on Kerry as he seems to be trying to conceal his giddiness.

I am a huge fan of Survivor, and to actually be given this chance out of thousands of other men and women is completely surreal. I've been watching this show with my family for years and to finally be on it is hardly believable. But I'm here! And I'm ready to play the game that I've loved for so long. Fingers crossed for me, kids!(Grinning)

–Kerry

With everyone on their tribe mats, Jeff can be seen smiling as he finally acknowledges the castaways.

Probst: I'd like to give you all a warm welcome to Survivor: Peru.

A huge round of applause is heard from both tribes as everyone seems to be extremely excited to be out in the jungles of Peru.

Probst: Guy in the back with the red jacket and tie.

Kerry(Smiling): My name is Kerry.

Probst: Kerry, you excited to be out here?

Kerry(Nodding): I'm VERY excited to be out here, Jeff. Going to a place like this has always been on my bucket list so I'd like to thank Survivor for helping to make that happen!

A few giggles and laughs are heard as a result of Kerry's witty comment as Probst cracks a smile before looking over to the opposite mat.

Probst: Tall guy with the brown, wavy, hair.

Griffin(Grinning): The name's Griffin.

Probst: Griffin, what are your first impressions of your tribe, this group of people that you are being forced to live and compete with?

Griffin: I'm getting some good vibes to be honest. I think that we've got a really good balance between physical prowess and puzzle people which doesn't seem to be the case with the other group. So I'd say that we're in a good position to dominate just going off of that.

Alexis rolls her eyes as Michael laughs a bit at Griffin's somewhat blunt statement.

Probst: Girl in the front with the light blue top.

Carly: Carly.

Probst: What do you make of what Griffin just said? Do you think your tribe is a bit more imbalanced?

Carly: I mean, he only said that based off of first impressions. And first impressions have been known to be horribly wrong and incorrect in the past so if he wants to go that route, then good luck!

Julia tries to keep from snickering as Griffin raises an eyebrow and shrugs off Carly's comment.

Probst: Well, it's obvious that you are all very ready to start playing this game. But as you know, before you can start playing the game, you need to start surviving the game. Behind me are two footpaths that both lead to the same location: a small fishing village near the coastlines of the Pacific Ocean. In this village, you will find everything you need to survive out here in the rainforests of Peru. You just need to bargain and buy your way through the village in order to get your hands on these materials.

Ferrari's eyes widen as Michael's jaw drops. The camera focuses on all the castaways looking confused or shocked by the announcement of this twist. The focus hones in on Jane as she looks super shocked by what she has just heard.

Usually in Survivor, you start out having the bare minimum of stuff at your camp. Rice, pots, a machete, things like that. Not much, but it gets the job done. However, now I am hearing that we have nothing at the moment and we actually have to bargain our way through this tiny little village in order to have all of our stuff to survive. And I'm just like what?! That is not good. I'm not exactly a social butterfly in my life back home so communicating and bargaining with locals is certainly not gonna be a strength of mine!(Chuckling nervously)

–Jane

Probst: You will get 100 nuevo sol, the currency of Peru, to spend freely in the half an hour of time that you will have to gather as many items as you can for your tribe.

Leo nods with confidence as Probst starts handing out the buffs, maps, and currency to each tribe.

Probst(Throwing the bag to Tammy): Green tribe, your name is Lima. Here are all your buffs.

Probst then turns towards the blue tribe.

Probst(Throwing another bag to Leo): Blue tribe, your name is Cusco. Here are your buffs.

All the castaways put on their buffs as Probst announces another component to the village twist.

Probst: One last thing before you all head on out. Along with the supplies that you are looking for, there is something of power hidden within the village. It is a clue to an immunity idol that is hidden at each tribes' camp. The person that can locate the clue first and successfully perform the task required will get the clue.

Another wave of shock spreads through the group as everyone seems to be conflicted about their true intentions.

Probst: Do you act for the common good of your tribe and pour your time into finding as much supplies as you can or do you act out of self-preservation and hunt for the idol clue? That is the conflict. And it is now time for all of you to solve that problem for yourselves and head into the village.

The castaways quickly get into a runner's stance as all of them are anxious to get to the village and start the game.

Probst: Survivors, ready? Go!

And on that note, everyone eagerly sprints along the footpaths, clambering to get to the fishing village and get their hands on some much-needed supplies or a clue to a hidden immunity idol.

The camera focuses on the Cusco tribe as all eight members are seen running in different directions, talking to different people, and pretty much doing their own thing as they all look for supplies around the village. Leo takes note of his tribe's erratic behavior and shakes his head.

The minute that Probst said go, everyone went off sprinting like it was a regular day at the races or something. And, of course, once I get to the actual village, I can't even find any of my tribe members! It looks like a few of us just took what money we could get and ran off with it. If this is how my teammates plan on playing the game, they've got another thing coming because I will not participate in such ludicrous strategies!(Shaking his head in disapproval)

–Leo

The view then shows Griffin, who is watching the other tribe run around the village without any rhyme or reason, prompting him to call the rest of his tribe together.

Looking around and seeing the other tribe basically running around like a bunch of rabid animals scavenging for food really got me thinking. I don't want our tribe to be acting that crazy and wayward, especially when the situation is for our survival! So I got my tribe together and made sure to make a plan for what we're gonna do so we can come out of the village with as much supplies and items as possible.

–Griffin

Griffin: Here's the thing, guys. We can't just run into the village and act like a bunch of crazy a**holes like they are. We have to have an actual method before we delve into the madness over there.

A few subtle giggles are heard as Andy speaks up.

Andy: I agree. We need some kind of structure or we're never gonna get anythin' done 'round here.

Griffin: Exactly. Which is why I say that we split the money four ways and head into the village in pairs so that we can cover the most ground while still having someone else to talk and reason with.

Jane(Nodding her head): I agree. That sounds like the best plan.

Everyone else on the Lima tribe agrees to Griffin's plan as the lifeguard starts passing out the money to each pair.

Tammy: So twenty-five Peruvian coins to each of us, right?

Griffin: Yep. Twenty-five to me and Reggie, twenty-five to you and Ferrari, twenty-five to Dianne and Theodore, and twenty-five to Andy and Jane.

Andy(Excited): Alright. We got a plan, ladies and gents! Let's head on out and do some shoppin'!

The entire group does a quick cheer before heading out with their respective pairs to buy supplies from the small village. The camera then focuses in on Griffin and Reggie as they are seen making their own arrangements of where to go first.

Having to resort to buying our own survival materials was definitely not what I was expecting when I came out here. I thought this was Survivor, not my sister's weekly trips to the mall.(Laughing) But it's still pretty good, I guess. We had Griffin who really stepped up and made sure we had a plan going into it. He seems like a real solid dude and I'd love to align myself with him since I think that the two of us could really dominate the game together as the two stronger males.

–Reggie

As the pair of Reggie and Griffin start walking around and looking for supplies, Reggie compliments Griffin on his successful taking over of the situation.

Reggie: Good job on keeping control back there. Who knows what would've happened if we hadn't have made that plan right away?

Griffin: Any time, man. And if you want to find out I'd say just go and watch the other tribe scrambling their way throughout the village right now.

Reggie chuckles a bit at Griffin's comment as the latter simply smirks.

Reggie: You seem like a great dude and someone who would be a really good leader for our tribe.

Griffin(Shrugging his shoulders): Hey, I'm for it if no one has any issues with me doing that.

Reggie: I'm good with it. But I also think you and me will definitely need to work together sooner or later. Guys like us, it doesn't take long for us to get targeted, you know what I mean?

Griffin(Nodding): No, totally! I'm down for whatever is gonna get me farther in the game.

Reggie nods in compliance before he and Griffin notice a shop that is selling knives, pots, and pans and decide to see if they can buy anything.

Reggie, he's a pretty cool dude. We're both obviously the strongest dudes on our tribe and that certainly does draw some unwanted attention from the other players. So working with him does make a lot of sense. But I'm still keeping my options open. Working with Reggie is the easy way out and I need to get myself in with people who I can go far with, not just picked off after a certain amount of votes for being in that alliance of "strong" dudes. I'll keep ties with Reggie, but I don't plan on working with him for long.

–Griffin

The view shows Griffin smiling as Reggie tries to bargain with the owner of the store. Meanwhile, Michael from Cusco is seen running through the middle of the village, trying to find anyone from his tribe that he can work with. Eventually, he spots Ivan walking through the street with a confused look on his face and happily approaches him.

Our tribe's strategy for the village pillage was not exactly the best one. Everyone immediately went off with their own agenda in mind before we could even set up a group plan. We never even got to split up the money! Thankfully, I was able to grab some out of the bag before I took off, but it doesn't do much good if I don't know what all I should be buying! So when I finally saw Ivan walking around like a deer caught in headlights, it was like a dream come true. Finally, I had someone who I could work with so we can actually, you know, purchase something!(Laughing)

–Michael

Michael(Relieved): Hey, glad to have finally caught up with someone from our group!

Ivan: Same here. Everyone just sort of ran off at the beginning.

Michael: I'm Michael by the way.

Ivan: I'm Ivan. Were you able to grab some of the money before we all left?

Michael smiles and pulls out the Peruvian coins, exciting Ivan at the fact that they may be able to make some progress.

Ivan(Smiling): Great, because I have none!

Michael: That's fine. This isn't a whole lot though, so we should do our best to try and find someone else from our group who has money.

Ivan: The guy with the long hair. He walked by a little bit ago but he was in too much of a hurry to see me.

Michael(Grinning): Awesome! Let's go find him then. He's gotta be here somewhere.

Ivan: Yeah. Somewhere in this Peruvian dessert.

Michael chuckles a bit before correcting Ivan.

Michael(Smiling): I think you mean Peruvian desert, right?

Ivan(Laughing): Gah! I've lived in the US for twenty-two years and my English is still pretty bad!

Michael(Smiling): It's fine. I don't think you're gonna need to use it much in a place like this anyway.

Ivan chuckles once again as the two head out to try and find Leo.

I came to America from the Ukraine when I was only eight years old so I do still have a bit of an accent along with a bit of difficulty in speaking English. And although I think that that might be a disadvantage for me when it comes to communicating with others, I think it will also be an advantage to me because I am used to dealing with being in a very foreign environment like this village and I hope that that can help me prove to everyone that I am an asset to this team and not just some clumsy weirdo who can't even say the word "desert" right!(Chuckling)

–Ivan

The view then transitions once again over to the pair of Tammy and Ferrari as Tammy is seen to be struggling with bargaining with a woman who is selling different types of produce.

Bargaining with the villagers was actually a lot harder than you would think. I've never spoken a lick of Spanish in my entire life so now having to communicate with these people who I can't even understand is really frustrating. Especially since our survival depends on getting this food and materials from these people! But then, when I thought it was over, Ferrari stepped in.

–Tammy

Tammy(Frowning): I'm having zero luck. I can't make hide nor hair of what she's saying to me and if I can't understand her, I don't see how we can get anything out of this stand.

Ferrari puts her hands on her hips and thinks for a moment before speaking up.

Ferrari: Let me have a crack at it. I'm sure I can get something out of her. Even a single orange wouldn't hurt.

Tammy just sits and watches from the curb as Ferrari starts to talk and communicate with the villager.

Although I pride myself on being a two-time beauty queen, I'm not just a pretty face. Sorry to let you down boys, but I have other passions besides standing up on a stage and looking cute. Translating languages from person to person is my daily job and I've had to study and talk in Spanish, French, Japanese, and even Portuguese. So when Tammy couldn't get the job done with the clerk, all I thought was lemme at her and we'll see if we can't get something out of this.(Grinning)

–Ferrari

Tammy looks on in awe and amazement at the store clerk, who is seen happily communicating with Ferrari as the translator puts her talents to good use. By the time she's done, Ferrari is carrying a whole basket of fruits and vegetables back to her tribemate.

Ferrari: Is this okay? I asked how much for ten and she said I could just take the whole basket.

Tammy(Cheerily): That's perfect! Oh, I can't believe at how much food you've gotten us! You're gonna be a hero once they all see this!

Ferrari(Blushing): Aw, stop it! It's part of my daily work as a translator so it would be sad if I couldn't get the job done.

Tammy: Well, you certainly do your work well. Let's try and find the others and see if they've made any progress.

Ferrari nods as she and Tammy start walking along the streets again, looking for their fellow tribe members.

I was very surprised to see the way Ferrari mastered communicating with that stand clerk. On the outside, she just looks like your typical pretty girl who wants to sit down and check her nails while everyone else is doing their work. But, I have to admit, she's got some skills! And it makes me happy because thanks to her skills our tribe will be eating for a good long while even without fire!(Smiling and giving a thumbs-up)

–Tammy

The scene then switches to Vienna walking through the village all by herself, with the buff bag at her side as she fills it up with large stones from all around the area.

When I came into the village, I realized that I had no money whatsoever. My tribemates had pilfered it all before I even got a chance to look at it. Thanks tribe!(Rolling her eyes) But I can make do. After all, who needs money when you have a persuasive voice and an innocent tone? When it comes down to it, Jeff said that we can buy and bargain our way through the village. And, honey, I'm about to do some extreme bargaining!(Smirking)

–Vienna

Vienna, carrying her sack full of rocks, walks up to one of the stands that is selling homemade pillows and blankets.

Clerk(With a thick accent): Hello, how may I help you?

Vienna(With a cheery and light tone): Hello! I was hoping to buy one of your blankets.

Vienna takes a closer look at all the comfort items, carefully observing the layout before pointing to one of the intricate beige and red blankets.

Vienna(Pointing): How about that one?

The clerk smiles and grabs the blanket so Vienna can examine it closer.

Vienna: Hm, do you have one like this in black and red?

Clerk(Smiling): I do, actually. It costs more though.

Vienna(Smiling): That's okay. I'd like to see it at least.

Clerk: Okay then. I'll be right back with it, miss.

Vienna happily nods as the clerk heads in to get the blanket that Vienna has requested. However, as soon as she is out of sight, Vienna pulls two of the large stones out of her bag and throws them to the ground. She then immediately grabs two of the pillows that have been propped up against the stand and stuffs them into her bag with haste, not wanting to be caught by the clerk. As soon as she has done the deed, the clerk comes back with the blanket.

Vienna(Feigning interest): Oh, it's beautiful!

Clerk: It costs 50 nuevo sol.

Vienna(Disappointed): 50? Oh, well, I don't have that kind of money unfortunately. I'll have to pass it up. I'm sorry for wasting your time.

Clerk(In an understanding tone): It is alright. I hope you find what you are looking for.

Vienna gives the clerk a hopeful smile before turning around and walking off, with two of the woman's pillows in her possession now. The smile on Vienna's face soon turns into a devious and vindictive smirk.

My morals are out the door. I have to do what I have to do to for my own survival. So if I have to resort to some lying and trickery to get the supplies I want, then so be it. It's these people's faults for not seeing through my deception. Do I care that that woman just lost two pillows? No. She had like ten more out there that I could've easily taken as well. She should count herself lucky!(Laughing maniacally)

–Vienna

The camera focuses on Vienna continuing to walk along the street with her bag of rocks, off to con some more shopkeepers. The view then changes to Kerry as he is seen walking around and looking in every direction desperately.

When Jeff said that there was an immunity idol clue hidden somewhere in the village, that's all that stuck in my mind once we set out. No matter what, in a game like this you need to always think about your own position in the game, not the positions of everyone else. I took half of my team's money and ran off as fast as I could. Selfish? Yeah. But I had a feeling that the task was gonna require some big money. As for the location of the clue itself, I knew it had to be somewhere significant. So I decided to head to the center of the tiny village and start my search there.

–Kerry

The camera focuses on all the goings-on in the village's center as it is a beacon of activities and people, making it hard for Kerry to search for the clue.

Kerry(To himself): If I was a clue, where would I hide?

His focus eventually hones in on a man singing in the middle of the square while simultaneously begging for money. As the man looks from side to side, Kerry smirks and makes his way over to the man.

My attention was eventually caught by a man singing in the direct center of the village square. As he was singing and begging for coins, I could see him looking from side to side, like he was waiting for someone to come up to him. It was a long shot, but I had to take the chance. No risks, no rewards, right?(Smiling nervously)

–Kerry

Kerry eventually walks up to the man as he continues to sing. After taking a deep breath, Kerry pulls out all 50 nuevo sol that he had procured from his tribe's supply and throws them into the man's hat. The man's eyes go wide and he grins.

Man(Grinning from ear to ear): You are very generous! Thank you for the donation.

Kerry(Smiling): You're welcome. You're a very good singer.

The man thanks Kerry before pulling something out of his pocket.

Man: You wouldn't happen to be the person looking for this, are you?

Kerry's eyes go wide as he realizes that the object that the man is holding is the immunity idol clue.

Kerry(Ecstatic): Yes! Oh my God, yes! That is what I'm looking for!

Man(Smiling): It is yours. A thanks for the kindness and generosity you showed me.

Kerry(Grinning): Thank you so much, my good man.

The man smiles as Kerry waves goodbye before sprinting back into the crowd with haste.

Dear Lord, I actually found it. I found the freaking immunity idol clue twenty minutes into the game! Do you know how completely awesome and insane that is?!(Chuckling) But there wasn't really any time for me to read it or get excited about it because our time in the village seemed to be almost up. And I don't want to look suspicious as the last guy to get back to the group. So I booked it back to the footpaths as fast as I could!(Grinning from ear to ear)

–Kerry

The chaos of the last few minutes ensues as shots are shown of Julia bargaining with a man for some water buckets, Theodore and Dianne purchasing flint from a family of locals, and Alexis and Carly pooling their money in order to buy a machete and some pots. The view finally settles on the edge of the footpaths where Griffin is leading Reggie, Jane, and Andy in taking inventory of all the things that the group has collected so far. As they are doing so, Tammy and Ferrari come back carrying their gigantic basket of fruit.

Tammy(Smiling): We're back!

Andy's eyes go wide after he sees the size of the basket that the two women have brought back.

Jane(Excited): Oh my God!

Jane and Reggie immediately stop what they're doing to examine the large amount of fruit that their tribe now has thanks to Ferrari's skills as a translator.

Reggie: This can feed all of us for days! Good job you guys!

Tammy(Smiling): Don't thank me. Thank Ferrari. She's the one that was able to bargain with the shopkeeper for a better deal.

Ferrari blushes a bit as even Griffin is in awe of how much the two of them were able to procure during the pillage.

Griffin: Well, awesome job on getting it, you two. You can set the basket, along with any extra money you have, over here so we can take inventory of it.

The two women do as they are told as Griffin continues to take charge of the operation.

I was really impressed with what Tammy and Ferrari were able to accomplish in the village. The fruit basket they got was enormous and I know I wouldn't have been able to sweet talk something like that out of one of the clerks here. So good on them! I'm particularly impressed with Ferrari. Coming into the game, I thought Ferrari was just the stereotypical hot chick who isn't useful to the tribe in any way, shape, or form. But Ferrari's already proving me wrong!(Laughing) She's really captured my attention with that move and I'm hoping to learn more about her in the coming days.(Grinning)

–Griffin

The camera focuses on both Griffin and Ferrari before it cuts over to where Leo, Michael, and Ivan are gathering for the Cusco tribe. Unfortunately, they don't have to do inventory on anything because all they were able to procure was flint and nothing else.

Michael(Trying to make the best of it): At least we have flint.

Leo(Somewhat annoyed): Yeah, well let's hope the others got a lot more than us.

Michael frowns as Ivan can be seen sighing at the little progress that the three of them made during the village pillage.

Well, I called it! The way that my tribe split off right at the beginning royally screwed me! The only people I managed to find were Michael and Ivan and all we had enough to buy was flint. Which is important for making fire, but it would've been nice to get some other stuff along with it. After all, there are three of us! I just have to hope that my fellow tribemates used the rest of the money for good purposes or I'm gonna be roaring so loud that the lions in Africa will hear me!

–Leo

Eventually, the three younger women come back to the group as Leo immediately questions them.

Leo: Please tell me you girls got something?

Julia simply smiles and shows the three boys what they have purchased.

Julia: Water buckets. Good for carrying stuff from the well and back.

Alexis(Grinning): And me and Carly put our money together and got a machete and some pots for cooking.

Michael and Ivan both cheer and hug all three women. Even the pessimistic Leo is seen smiling at how much the girls got. However, his face freezes along with the others when he spots Vienna walking in.

Vienna: I'm back! So what all did you guys get?

As she says this, the other six notice all the supplies in her bag and on her arms as she raises an eyebrow.

Ivan: What did you get?

Vienna: I got us two pillows, a blanket, some cooking utensils, a fishing net, and even some line too if that's the route you'd like to go.

The others are stunned by her progress as Kerry walks in, also wondering why Vienna is decked out in supplies.

Michael: But I didn't see you take any money. How were you able to get all that?

Vienna(Smirking): Oh, I have my ways.

She giggles a bit as Leo narrows his eyes. The rest of the tribe decides to ignore it however as they all start grabbing stuff to take before they head out on their trek to camp. As they start walking, Leo questions Kerry.

Leo: So did you get anything?

Kerry: No, unfortunately. Unlike our dear friend, Vienna, over there, I'm not as persuasive and good with words. I was stumped without any money in my pocket.

Leo: It's alright. Given the situation, it's understandable.

Kerry nods as Leo shakes his head after being reminded of Vienna's actions.

Vienna is already proving to be a loose cannon. None of us really know how she got all the supplies and materials without any money and honestly, I don't think we want to know! It just shows her true colors and that she is willing to resort to sneaky and unethical tactics in order to make herself look better in the eyes of others. Well, I'm not falling for it. She keeps that behavior up and she will gone faster than you can say my name!

–Leo

The view then shows Vienna, who has obviously heard what Kerry and Leo said, rolling her eyes and cringing.

So this dude brings back nothing and he gets a warm-hearted apology and I bring back literally everything and all I get is some dirty look? Like, what the hell?! Leo must be trying to piss me off or something because I don't even know what planet he is on with his backward logic. I can already tell he has it out for me because I upstaged him for getting more stuff than he did, but I don't care. If he wants a fight, I'll give it to him. And I'll give it to him hard!(Smirking)

–Vienna

The view then shows both tribes heading out on the footpaths they came in from in order to make their way to their camp and start setting up before the camera cuts to a commercial break.

Cusco[]

The scene reopens as the Cusco tribe is seen making their way along the footpath and up to their light blue tribe flag, which signifies the location for their camp. As soon as they come upon the flag, shouts and cheers break out among the group as they are all happy and relieved to finally be at their camp.

Walking along the beach and finally being able to see our bright blue flag fluttering in the wind was a breath of heaven for me. This whole village thing that we had to go through has been complete hell for a control freak like me.(Chuckling) But now we're all together at our camp and hopefully that means that we can shape up and have a bit more structure with our plans. That's what I'm aiming for anyway!

–Leo

As everyone starts to get settled in, Leo immediately steps up and takes charge.

Leo: Well, now that we've gotten to take the tour of the place, I say we start turning this into one kickass camp! Who's with me?

The entire tribe happily agrees, but it is apparent that some of them, particularly Julia and Vienna, are only faking it as Leo continues to talk.

Leo: I'm thinking we need three teams of people. Three on shelter, three on palm fronds, and then two on fire duty. I'm personally a shelter man myself and I think Mike and Ivan would also be good for doing that kind of stuff.

Both Michael and Ivan nod in agreement at Leo's statement as Julia steps up to speak.

Julia(Smiling): If it pleases the court, I think that me, Carly, and Alexis can handle weaving the palm fronds.

Leo(Grinning): Perfect. And then Kerry and Vienna can work on building the firepit and using the flint.

Everyone unanimously agrees to Leo's idea before he gives them the go-ahead to start working.

Leo: Alright, let's get to it then!

Everyone disperses into the groups that Leo has assigned them and starts getting to work as the camera focuses on Julia as she makes her way over to start picking and weaving palm fronds.

As predicted, Leo is trying to take control of this entire tribe. And they say first impressions don't matter, ha!(Chuckling) He's already putting himself out there as the leader of our tribe and all I'm thinking is do you want to put the knife in your back, or should I?(Giggling) It's a death wish to become the leader. It always has been and it still is. But if Leo really wants to do it, who am I to stop him?

–Julia

Various shots are shown of the three younger women weaving palm fronds while talking happily amongst themselves along with shots of Kerry and Vienna collecting firewood. The view finally settles upon Leo, Ivan, and Michael as they are seen cutting down trees in order to get wood and material for the shelter. On one tree, Michael spots fruit hanging from the highest branches. After pointing it out to Leo, Michael decides to climb the tree in order to get the fruit.

Leo: Are you sure you want to climb up there, dude? We can just cut it down and then grab the fruit.

Michael(Getting ready to grab onto the tree's trunk): Nah, I'm good. I've done this lots of times before.

Leo raises an eyebrow as Michael starts to pull himself up the base of the large tree.

After I kicked my addiction and the drugs, I really wanted to do something amazing with my life. And I thought, what could be more amazing than traveling the world? So that's what I do for a living now. I go on all types of different sponsorships and tours to all these crazy exotic locations. And I've climbed my share of palm trees before. So now to be here in Peru, which is yet another crazy exotic location that I'm new to, is just so breathtaking. I feel like I'm truly in an environment where I belong and I don't plan on leaving anytime soon.(Grinning)

–Michael

Soon enough, Michael is all the way up to the canopy, looking down and smiling at Leo as the lion tamer looks on in awe.

Leo(Smiling): Wow, you are really up there!

Michael(From above): Yeah, I know! I'm gonna start dropping these fruits down so try and catch them, okay?

Leo(Nodding): Okay!

As Michael starts dropping the colorful fruits down from the top of the tree, Leo catches them with ease while still managing to keep an awe-stricken smile on his face while he does so.

Michael is...he's certainly something, man. I've never met anyone quite like him. Going into this I thought that I would be the one with the most experience being outdoors and in the wilderness. But judging from what I just saw, either Michael is some weird hermit who loves climbing trees or he's got some pretty good wilderness experience.(Chuckling) Either way, he's someone who I'd definitely like to work with long term because he seems really reliable and trustworthy.

–Leo

The two men gather the fruit that Michael picked and start to head back to camp. On the way, Leo decides to propose his idea to Michael.

Leo: I must admit, that was pretty impressive what you did back there.

Michael(Smiling): Eh, it was nothing. Like I said, I've done stuff like that lots of times before.

Leo: Honestly, I get lots of good vibes from you. You seem like a straightforward and honest guy and I would be delighted if the two of us could work something out to where we would have each other's backs. Would that be something that would interest you?

Michael(Happily): Definitely! You seem like a really cool and solid dude who can lead our tribe in the right direction and I'd be happy to be in an alliance with you. Would it be just us two as a pair or would we include some others in it as well?

Leo: I think we'd get one or two more people in. I was thinking Ivan. He's a really solid dude and I think he's gonna be good for challenges.

Michael(Nodding): Yeah, I agree. Ivan's a real cool guy. I'd love to have the three of us be an alliance.

Leo: Well, then let's not be cautious about it. We need to get him in quickly and strike while the iron is hot before someone else tries to claim him.

Michael: Alright.

The pair then get back to camp as they notice that Ivan is the only one visible as he is working on building the base of the shelter.

Leo: Hey, Ivan, where is everyone?

Ivan: I think Vienna and Kerry are still finding wood for the fire. And then the girls went down to the beach to weave the palm fronds.

Leo takes note of the three women happily laughing and chatting on the beach while they work before nodding and smirking.

Leo: Cool. Well, since us three are alone, me and Michael wanted to bring something up to you.

Ivan(Curious): What is it?

Michael: Me and Leo were thinking and we decided that us three would be a really awesome alliance that could potentially run this tribe. We just wanted to make sure that you were on board with working with us.

Leo: I can already tell that the three of us are the strongest for challenges and the hardest workers around camp. It makes the most sense for us to stick together and be a power three. Are you in?

Ivan(Grinning): Of course! You guys are who I've been closest to so far and I'd love if we could team up and work together.

Leo(Smirking): Awesome. Then I think we're set for now.

The three men all shake hands as an affirmation of loyalty to their newly created alliance before the camera focuses in on Ivan as he joyfully chats with the other two men as they continue work on the shelter.

I think working with Michael and Leo is a great opportunity for me. I'm very close with the two of them already because of the village twist, and I feel like I can definitely put my trust in them to keep me around for a long time. Plus, with the way that Leo is marching around camp like he is the king makes me happy because if they are gonna target one of us, they'll target him because he is putting himself out there and making other people mad. So Leo is like the perfect ally for me to be honest.(Smiling)

–Ivan

The view focuses on Leo before the scene transitions to later in the day. The Cusco three are seen continuing work on the shelter as they are just now getting to the roof. Vienna and Kerry are also seen back at camp, digging the fire pit and placing the wood inside. However, as the men progress with the roof, Vienna looks up and becomes alarmed at the angle that they are building at. She immediately stands up and states this to all three of them.

Vienna: Are you guys sure about the angle of the roof? With the way you're building it, I think half of us might end up getting soaked at night.

Leo(Practically ignoring her): It'll be fine.

Vienna(Pushing it): Are you sure? Because the roof is pretty much parallel with the trees. I think that we're gonna get rained on and our shelter is gonna fall apart.

Ivan bites his lip as Leo shakes his head and rolls his eyes, obviously getting aggravated with Vienna's pushiness.

You know, it's really hard to get work done when you have a negative presence in the area. And Vienna couldn't be less negative than a pessimistic electron. Her constant bitching and whining just drives not only me but the rest of us right up the wall! She just does not let up! And it really infuriates me. Like, why are you even talking to me about shelter? Did I put you on shelter duty? No, I didn't. So stop poking your nose where it doesn't belong!(Groaning)

–Leo

Leo(Angry): I said it was fine, alright! Just drop it and mind my own business!

Vienna(Starting to get fired up as well): Mind my own business? This shelter is my business! It's everyone's business! We're all sleeping in the shelter and I'm sure everyone here is gonna care if we get rained on or not!

Leo(Rolling his eyes): All three of us know what we're doing. Why don't you be productive and work on the fire with Kerry like you were assigned to do instead of standing here and yelling at me?

Vienna(Stomping her feet): No! I am a part of this tribe and I should get a say in how our shelter is done. If I think you're doing something wrong, I'm gonna call you on it! This isn't a one-man operation, it's for an entire group of people who don't want to bow down to you all day!

Leo: Just go away. I don't care where just leave. Your bitching isn't helping anything get done and you obviously have no qualms about wasting work time to argue about silly little things.

Vienna(Putting her hand up): Fine. If I can't reason with you then I'll just let it go. You build your shelter your way and see how it turns out. When it does rain, I hope all three of you prune.

Michael laughs a bit as Leo just shakes his head, giving a gesture to the other guys to just ignore her. Vienna angrily sits back down and sulks as she and Kerry attempt to get fire started. After a few minutes, Vienna is able to successfully start fire using the flint.

Vienna(Ecstatic): Hell yeah!

Kerry(Smiling): Nice job!

Even Leo looks over in approval as everyone from the Cusco tribe gathers to see the fire that has just been started.

Who started the fire? I started the fire!(Cheering) That's right! Now who's the useless one, Leo? Huh? Not me. Because I actually did something that's gonna help our tribe survive for the night. Not create some sham of a shelter that is just inviting rain to pour into it. I can't stand Leo. He doesn't know how to listen to anyone else besides himself and his boys, Ivan and Michael. He's an elitist bitch and I'm already dreaming of the day that I get to write his name down. Like, lion tamer? More like lion food if I have anything to say about it!(Giggling)

–Vienna

As thanks for starting their fire, members of the Cusco tribe start giving Vienna pats on the back and hugging her for a job well done. However, when Ivan goes up to give her a hug, she coldly brushes him off and gives him a small push away from her.

Vienna(Dismissively): I'm good, sweetie. No thank you.

Julia tries to contain a snicker as Carly raises her eyebrow in surprise before looking over to Alexis, who is just as shocked as she is. Leo rolls his eyes once again as a confused and embarrassed Ivan awkwardly steps back as everyone starts to go back to what they were working on. The focus hones in on Kerry as he and Vienna head out to grab some water so they can boil it on their newly made fire.

The drama at Cusco just got real folks!(Chuckling) I've never seen two people argue with such malice and hate in their eyes like Vienna and Leo did today. It was just awkward. Extremely, painfully, awkward. Especially when Vienna went as far as to reject a hug from Ivan in front of everyone else. I mean, it sucks seeing people fight and yell like that, but you just have to accept it. After all, it puts a big flashy spotlight on them while I can slink away and stay under the radar without anyone knowing.(Smiling)

–Kerry

The view focuses on shots of Leo and Vienna around camp before the view fades out to a commercial break.

Day 2[]

Lima[]

The sun is seen rising high into the sky, dawning the second day of the castaways' adventure in Peru. The view settles in on the Lima camp as the majority of the tribe has woken up early and already started doing some assigned morning chores. The camera focuses on Andy as he and Jane restart the fire after a rainstorm put it out during the night.

Even on our second day, life at Lima is pretty good. We made out like bandits at the village with all the stuff we got and we've already been puttin' a lot of it to good use. We've got flint to start our fires, a tarp to keep the rain out of our shelter, and even a huge basket of fruit to feed us when we don't have anythin' else. Honestly, I'd say that the Lima life is the life to be livin' out here in Peru.(Chuckling)

–Andy

Griffin approaches the two of them as Jane is seen trying to get the flint to produce a spark.

Griffin(Advising her): Try and go at it from a different angle. It might make striking it easier.

Jane: I've got it. Don't worry.

And in a matter of seconds, the flint produces a spark that lights up the fire once again, exciting Jane, Andy, and Griffin.

Griffin(Smiling): Nice job!

Jane: Thank you!

All three of them hug before they split off and look for other places where work is needed to be done. The camera focuses once again on Andy as he starts to tend to the fire.

I think one of the main reasons for our early success is Griffin. He's been just about the greatest leader that any of us could ask for. He was the one that took charge in the village and made sure we didn't end up like Cusco, he's also the one that has kinda been directin' things around camp. But at the same time, he isn't bein' condescendin' or rude 'bout it so we can get a lot more done without any conflict. Sorry if I seem like an annoyin' cheerleader but I have to say it again, I love our tribe!(Chuckling)

–Andy

The scene then transitions to a bit later in the day where we see Griffin relaxing on the shore of the beach with Dianne and Tammy as they assess their tribe's early success.

Dianne(Smiling): When I came out here, I was definitely not picturing us having this much to work with.

Griffin: I know. That first twist actually caused us to benefit. We already have a lot of stuff that most other tribes don't get when they first start out.

Dianne(Giggling): Well, I hope it stays like that because I like these relaxing days!

Griffin smirks at Dianne's statement as Tammy smiles as well.

So far, things around camp have been going pretty good. We've got a good shelter, plenty of water, and we've also got fire as well. But now that everyone has had a chance to get settled in, I think it's about time to start actually playing the game. Coming in, I wanted to try and align with the least likely person that people would expect me to align with. Reggie approached me yesterday, but he and I would be obvious as an alliance to the others. Honestly, I think that making an alliance with all of the women would be my best option because no one is gonna see it coming. Strong guys like me usually don't ally with an all-girl thing, but I'm ready to do it.(Smirking)

–Griffin

Griffin: So what are your guys' opinions on the people in our tribe?

Dianne: Oh, well, I like everyone so far. I haven't had the chance to speak with all of them at length, but there is no one giving me any bad vibes as of late.

Griffin: Yeah, I mostly agree. I'm just a bit worried about how some of the other guys will fare.

Dianne looks a bit confused as Tammy raises an eyebrow.

Tammy: What do you mean?

Griffin: I'm just looking at these other dudes and I don't know how well some of them are gonna do in challenges. Especially compared to the guys on the other tribe.

Dianne: You must be talking about Theodore and Andy, right?

Griffin: Yeah. I know it's a bit unfair, but I just don't think they're gonna be able to handle the complexity and physicality of these challenges. If we do go to Tribal, I think it should be one of those two.

Dianne: Okay. But what do want from us? You wouldn't be telling us all of this if you didn't want to tell us something else.

Griffin smiles at Dianne's perceptiveness before explaining himself.

Griffin(Smiling): You caught me. I was also hoping that us three, Ferrari, and Jane could work out some kind of deal in which we would all vote together.

Dianne looks a bit suspicious of Griffin as Tammy speaks up.

Tammy: So you want to bring all the women together and have an alliance of us four and you?

Griffin(Smiling): Basically. Are you two good with that?

Dianne hesitates for a moment before answering.

Dianne: I'd be down with that. Tammy?

Tammy(Trying not to hesitate): I mean, that's fine by me. I'm the old lady, I can't exactly be choosy with who I ally with!

Griffin laughs a bit as Dianne sits there biting her tongue.

When Griffin proposed a girls plus him alliance to me and Tammy, I almost died laughing. Don't get me wrong, Griffin is a great kid and he's done a lot for this tribe that I'm thankful for, but his schemes are so completely transparent and see-through. He wants me, Tammy, and all the other girls on his side because he thinks that we're weak and we'll do whatever he wants us to do. Well, honey, that ain't gonna happen with me in your alliance! I don't take no orders from some pretty-faced model boy!(Giggling)

–Dianne

Griffin: If we play this right, we could be sitting there at the end.

Dianne(Smiling): I'm down.

Tammy: Me too.

Griffin(Grinning): Awesome. I'll make sure to talk to Jane and Ferrari about it soon. I've got a good feeling about this one!

Dianne smiles as Griffin decides to head back to camp. However, as soon as leaves, the demeanor of both Tammy and Dianne completely changes.

Tammy(Laughing): Is that boy serious?

Dianne(Smirking): I don't know, but I'm not aligning with him anytime soon. He only wants us around because he thinks that we're gonna listen to whatever he says and do as we're told.

Tammy: Oh, completely! He's just scared of the guys because he thinks they'll see through his scheming.

Dianne: Yeah, well he just showed his cards to the wrong ladies. We can use this info to turn Andy and Theodore against him.

Tammy: Definitely. You and Theodore are the two people I get along with the best out here and I'd loved to create a little group with you two, Andy, and Jane too.

Dianne(Grinning): I love that. Sure sounds a heck of a lot better than the girls plus Griffin alliance.

The two women laugh at Griffin's chagrin as the view focuses in on Tammy.

I think Griffin is a terrific kid, but I don't fully trust his intentions when he tried to make an alliance with all of us ladies. It just came off as really shady and patronizing and I certainly don't want any part of it. But I guess I do have to thank Griffin because he helped bring me and Dianne closer together and we pretty much affirmed an alliance with each other along with Theodore, Jane, and Andy. So thanks Griffin for making my day a lot better!(Giggling)

–Tammy

The view is then shifted to a later point in the day where Griffin is seen chatting up Jane and Ferrari about his girls plus him alliance that he had proposed to Dianne and Tammy.

Griffin: So it would be us three, along with Dianne and Tammy. Strong five. And we'd take out the weaker guys like Theodore or Andy if we ever have to go to Tribal Council.

Ferrari: Sounds like a pretty good plan to me. I think I like you two the most out of everyone here. And Tammy and Dianne are cool too so I'll be right at home in this group.

Ferrari giggles at her own comment as Griffin grins.

Griffin(Turning towards Jane): Jane? You in too?

Jane(Trying to find the right words): Um, yeah! I'm good with that if you've got everyone you say you do.

Griffin(Confidently): Don't worry, I do.

Jane(Smiling): Then I guess I'm with you guys!

Griffin high-fives both of them as Ferrari is seen doing a small cheer. The camera focuses on Jane as she is trying everything she can to keep her composure.

Who does Griffin think I am exactly? Because I'm definitely not the girl that jumps into an alliance with someone who I don't even know!(Giggling) Especially with someone as overbearing and shady as Griffin. I could tell from her body language and tone that Ferrari was really into it, but it just wasn't for me. I consider myself a very independent girl and I think that I am perfectly capable of finding my own alliances and arrangements. So sorry Griffin, but I might have to leave you out to dry.

–Jane

The view shows the three of them walking back to camp and hanging out as the focus hones in on Griffin as he is seen happily laughing and chatting with Ferrari, Reggie, and Andy.

My plans are in place. I've gotten the word around to all the girls that I want to work with them. And on top of that, everyone is appreciative of my leadership around camp. So I'm kind of in everyone's good graces at the moment and I love it! I do need to watch myself though because I have a tendency to get really excited about stuff and when it doesn't pan out, it all goes up in flames. But I think if I can just keep a clear and level head, I can make this thing work.(Grinning hopefully)

–Griffin

The shot of Griffin laughing is transitioned to a panning shot of the Peruvian jungles before it settles down on the Cusco camp.

Cusco[]

Sadder and more scornful music is cued in as the view makes a full transition to the Cusco camp. The shelter and pots are seen dripping from constant rain as everyone is waking up from a miserable night of sleep. The camera focuses on Alexis as she is seen shivering from the cold.

Our first night in Peru was absolutely horrible! It was rainy, freezing, and cold all throughout the night and it didn't let up until early into the morning. It would've been okay, but the roof that we built didn't cover the entire shelter properly, so most of us got soaked for a straight eight or nine hours. It was the worst night of my life and now we're all just trying to redo the roof so we never have to relive it again. Ugh, part of me just wishes we had listened to the crazy lady!(Giggling)

–Alexis

Majority of the tribe is seen standing around the firepit, which is now fireless, discussing their plans for the shelter.

Leo: We need to do something about that roof.

Julia(Nodding): Yeah, no doubt. I don't know about you guys but I cannot go through another endless and horrific night like this past one.

Kerry: So we're gonna need to re-angle the roof so the rain can't get in, right?

Leo: Yeah. But in order to get that done we're gonna need to remove the palm fronds and make new ones.

Carly(Rubbing her eyes): We can do that again. I mean, if that's what you guys need I'm sure me, Alexis, and Julia can make some more if it would mean a better shelter.

Leo(Smiling): That would be great. Me and the other guys can work on the roof while Vienna tries to get the fire started again since she's so good at it.

Vienna forces out the best smile she can offer, trying her best to be civil with Leo.

Leo: If no one else has anything to say, I say we get to work as fast as we can so that all of this stuff can be behind us once and for all.

With his approval, everyone disperses back to their roles that were assigned the day prior in order to recover from the storm and fix up camp. The view is focused in on Michael as he and Ivan are trying to decide on how they will tilt the angle of the roof.

Well, it was pretty much our own fault that we got completely drenched last night. Me, Leo, and Ivan were in charge of the shelter and we built the roof at a bad angle, which let all the rain pour in. It WOULD rain on the first night.(Chuckling passively) But there's no room for dwelling on it, it's time to use this as a learning experience and change things up so that it doesn't happen again. All the bad things we experience out here, I just like to think of them as lessons. And you're meant to learn something from a lesson, right?(Smiling)

–Michael

Shots are shown of Vienna trying to find dry wood, the men pulling apart the roof in order to make changes to it, and the girls working on producing new palm fronds. The camera settles down on Leo using a rock to hammer the new roof structure into the shelter before he wipes the sweat off of his forehead. He then looks ahead to the beach where all the girls are working on their palm fronds. He sighs and looks down at Kerry who is still trying to find dry wood for the fire.

Leo(In a serious tone): I'm worried about those three girls.

Kerry looks up and raises an eyebrow at Leo's statement about the behavior of the girls.

This is a brutal game, but I think we all knew that coming in. We knew it was gonna rain and be cold out here, but I still think that some people on the tribe are having trouble coping with that. The three younger women specifically. You could just tell from their faces that they were so out of it and miserable after last night. And I understand that, but it concerns me that they might start checking out mentally and physically if the weather doesn't lighten up. And with an impending challenge tomorrow, I cannot have a weak team.

–Leo

Kerry: Why are you worried about them?

Leo: I mean, look at them. They look absolutely miserable and weak!

Kerry looks over to see the looks on the girl's faces as they continue to thread palm fronds for the shelter.

Kerry(Brushing it off): I think it's pretty understandable given what we all experienced last night. It was pretty rough.

Leo(Defensively): And I get that. I'm not trying to play the bad guy here but I think we need to keep a watchful eye on all of them. Especially since we have a challenge coming up soon.

Kerry: I think we'll all be fine once this new roof goes up and we can get fire again.

Leo: I know. But I can't get the looks on their faces out of my head. Alexis looked like she was about ready to cry. And Julia, don't even get me started.

Kerry tries his best to remain calm, obviously getting uncomfortable with what Leo is spouting out.

Our first night was pretty hard, and it certainly is taking its toll on everyone. But, come on! Is Leo really that desperate that he needs to come up to me and badger me about how the girls are weakening from the storm? It sucks because I do understand that Leo wants a strong team, I do too. But it's the first big storm. Everyone's in for a reality check. Even I had one and I've been watching Survivor since it first aired. I just think that Leo needs to calm it down a bit and give everyone some breathe room. Otherwise, no one is gonna want him around anymore.(Shrugging his shoulders)

–Kerry

The view is then transitioned down to the beach where all three girls are working on weaving new palm fronds for the repaired roof. The focus is put on Julia as she takes a few deep breaths and rubs her eyes several times, all while shivering from the cold, morning, air.

Carly(Noticing her demeanor): Julia, you okay?

Julia(Smiling): Yeah, I'm fine. I'm just trying to get used to, well, this. You know, being so cold and wet for an extended period of time.

Carly nods her head in agreement as Julia keeps speaking.

Julia: I'm sure we'll all adapt to it by the time that the next system rolls through. It's just the reality of being here, in the wild, you know?

Alexis(Nodding): Definitely. I'm trying to cope with it just like you. I'm pretty sure everyone here is doing it in some way, shape, or form.

Julia agrees as she and the girls chat while continuing their work.

Going in, everyone thinks they know what this is like. They think that they are tough as nails, never gonna cry or shiver, but that's impossible. Unless you've had this exact experience before, you don't know what's gonna happen and how you will react to it. So my goal isn't to ask how I can survive, it's all about how I can adapt. Now that the first storm is over with, I think I'm starting to get used to what this environment will be like and pretty soon I'll be one-hundred percent ready for another cluster of rain to come pouring down on our humble abode.(Grinning)

–Julia

As smiles start to form on the girl's faces while they are continuing to talk and weave, Kerry is seen coming down to the beach and approaching them, having finally escaped Leo's chattering mouth for the time being.

I like Julia. Despite her age, she's got a very mature and motherly personality. Something which both Leo and Vienna lack. And I don't think she deserved to have all these pre-conceived notions about her stability be brought up without her even knowing about it. So after sitting on it for a while, I decided to go down to the beach and tell her myself.

–Kerry

Kerry takes a seat right next to Julia as the single mother welcomes him with a warm smile.

Julia(Smiling): Hey. What's up?

Kerry: Hey, Julia. I just felt like I needed to tell you something.

Julia raises an eyebrow and leans in to listen.

Kerry(In a hushed tone): Just so you know, Leo has been telling everyone that they should be worried about you, Carly, and Alexis.

Julia(Confused): Why?

Kerry: He thinks that you all checked out mentally from the storm we had last night. He keeps telling me that the looks on your guys' faces say everything.

Julia looks over to Kerry with a shocked and almost enraged face at hearing what has been going on behind her back.

Julia(Annoyed): Are you freaking kidding me?! Everyone has been down in the dumps. Me, you, Ivan, even Vienna has cooled down! Why is he singling us out?

Kerry: I don't know. I told him that you all were fine but he just kept insisting that we keep an eye on you guys for the challenge. He even mentioned you by name.

Julia looks down and starts to weave palm fronds while shaking her head in annoyance.

Julia(Shaking her head): I don't like that. I don't like that at all.

Kerry nods in agreement as he reassures Julia that she is safe while the psychiatrist rolls her eyes and bites her lip.

Hearing that I'm being doubted by my fellow tribe members is definitely not an easy thing to take. I mean, Leo could've at least come to me first before spreading the word all around camp! Now I'm getting really scared and paranoid. I thought Vienna and Leo would be the two big targets if we went to Tribal Council, but now it seems like my name has been thrown into the jar as well. I am not leaving though. I didn't leave my little boy at home to come do this just to get kicked off first. Nuh-uh. If they want to keep a watchful eye on me, the go right ahead and watch as I prove myself very worthy at the challenge. Just watch!(Crossing her arms)

–Julia

The camera focuses on Julia as she is staring bullets at Leo back at camp before the scene fades to a commercial break.

Day 3[]

Lima[]

The sun is shining brightly down on the Lima camp as the sounds of wood being chopped, the fire crackling, and water sloshing in the buckets is heard all throughout the area. The camera settles down on a shot of Andy and Dianne walking up to treemail in order to find out if they do, in fact, have an immunity challenge today.

Andy(Grinning): Alright, let's see what lady luck is bringin' us today!

Dianne smiles at Andy's enthusiasm as the tattoo artist is pulling out a small scroll from the lid of the treemail vase.

Dianne: Is that what I think it is?

Andy(Giddily): I'm hopin' so! Let's go get everyone together so we can read it and find out.

Dianne agrees and the two are seen heading back to camp to inform the other members of the Lima tribe about the impending challenge.

For these first three days, Survivor life has actually been pretty good for our tribe. Yeah, we had rain on the first night, but at the same time, we had a tarp to keep it out and a decently adequate shelter to sleep in. Overall, we've made great progress for a tribe so early on and we haven't had any conflict. I don't want to seem too cocky or entitled, but I'm confident that going into this challenge we'll be strong and unified. And hopefully that strength and unity will be enough to get us the win. Fingers crossed!(Smiling widely)

–Dianne

The scene then transitions to a panning overhead shot of the Peruvian landscape before it rapidly zooms into a cleared-off area of the jungle where the castaway's first challenge has been set up. Probst is seen calling the two tribes in as he is no doubt excited to get to the immunity challenge.

Probst: Come on in, guys!

Both groups enter in a single-file line before taking their spots on their respective tribe-colored mats, anxiously waiting for Jeff to announce the challenge.

Probst: So are you guys ready to get to your first immunity challenge?

With a few, hearty, yes' from some of the castaways and simple nods from the others, Probst starts in with his explanations about the rules of the challenge and how it will function overall. After doing so, he gives both tribes a minute to strategize before getting started.

The camera is rapidly zoomed in and then back out again as we now see all sixteen castaways in their starting positions for the challenge. And with Probst's famous line and signal, the six castaways that are running for each tribe head out with haste to grab their bundles of stair planks. Both tribes are pretty even going in as no one struggles right off the bat, although Griffin and Michael are leading their respective tribes as both of them sprint out into the lead and across the water to get to their tribe's raft. The two men start pulling their respective raft towards shore as the other competitors join in at different times as they make their way into the shallow water. Eventually, once everyone is at the raft and is helping to pull it across the water, both tribes get their puzzle planks to shore and each member grabs bundle to take back across the course and to the structure where the other two tribe members are waiting to use the planks to build a staircase. Lima starts to gain the upper hand at first when both Kerry and Julia struggle to keep up with everyone else in their group. Ferrari is the first person to carry her puzzle planks through the course and back to the starting line for her tribe, surprising everyone. Her fellow tribemates all follow behind her as Lima continues to extend their lead while Cusco continues to struggle. Michael is leading his tribe but decides to go back so he can assist Julia who is bringing up the rear by far. As he is doing so, Leo, Vienna, and Ivan all get back to the start as almost everyone from Lima is back now except for Theodore. However, unlike Cusco, no one goes to help Theodore initially despite him clearly struggling to get through the course. Andy and Dianne quickly go back out to assist him though once they notice it as Griffin is seen rolling his eyes at his tribe's lead starting to evaporate. Although Michael does a good job of helping Julia and Kerry, Lima still maintains their lead as the pianist finally makes it back to the starting point, allowing Tammy and Jane to start untying the puzzle planks and using them to get a head-start on building their staircase. As they start figuring out where to put the stair boards, the rest of the Cusco tribe finally gets back across the starting line, prompting Carly and Alexis to untie their boards and start working on the staircase puzzle. At first, Jane and Tammy maintain their lead over the other two as they work pretty efficiently together with Tammy instructing Jane which pieces to find. Alexis and Carly use the same strategy, with Carly giving instructions to Alexis. However, when the two girls notice that they aren't making progress quick enough, Alexis decides to switch roles with Carly and take a different approach. She grabs a handful of boards and searches through them, having Carly do the same. This allows the Cusco girls to do twice the work that Jane and Tammy are doing and it is evidently seen when they start increasing their speed. The Lima tribe notices this and urges Tammy and Jane to switch strategies, scared that Cusco will pass them if they don't. They comply and start searching with two separate piles like Alexis and Carly are doing. It doesn't help much though as by the time that both tribes get done with their staircases, they are dead even. Once the stair builders get done, the rest of their respective tribes rush up to the top of the structure, trying desperately to stay in it. Once both groups are at the top of the stairs, they select the people who will maneuver the peg through the table maze. It's Kerry and Julia for Cusco and Dianne and Theodore for Lima. Off the bat, both teams struggle understandably, as they are trying to get used to the feel of moving the peg with a partner. Once they all start to get the hang of it, their progress starts to increase and become more evident. Kerry and Julia hit a snag soon into it though after running into a dead end, losing them time and giving the lead back to Lima. That doesn't last for long though as Theodore and Dianne hit a dead end as well, causing the scale to tip once again. Tension starts to mount higher and higher as it can be seen that both teams are closing in on that center goal. Eventually, one team gets there and releases their tribe flag, showing a mass of bright green being raised to the sky and signifying a Lima victory for the first challenge.

Probst: LIMA WINS IMMUNITY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

The tension from the Lima tribe suddenly transforms into loud and joyous cheers at the fact that they have come out of the first challenge victorious. Griffin hugs Ferrari as Dianne and Theodore are seen being congratulated by both Andy and Tammy while everyone else celebrates in some other way. For the Cusco tribe, faces of disappointment and anger are all that is seen as Vienna rolls her eyes while Leo shakes his head in misery. Julia takes a deep, nervous, breath as a result pf her lackluster performance as Carly hugs her and pats her on the back, telling her that she did fine and tried her best.

Probst: Lima, congratulations. You have won tribal immunity which means that none of you will be going to Tribal Council tonight and you all have another three days out here in Peru. Cusco, a good effort, but not enough. You guys have a date with me at Tribal Council tonight where one of you will have the distinction of being the first person voted out of Survivor: Peru. You have the afternoon to figure that out. Head on out.

The camera focuses in on shots of Julia, Vienna, and Kerry walking back to camp with their defeated tribe before the view zooms back out and cuts to a commercial break.

Lima[]

The scene reopens with a plethora of jubilant music playing as the victorious Lima tribe makes their way back to camp, all of them with big smiles and grins on their faces.

Reggie(Grinning with glee): Well, good job, gang!

Everyone smiles and joins in on the cheers as they all celebrate winning the first challenge of the season.

True to form, we completely killed it at the challenge today!(Grinning) It was a little touch and go for some people, but in the end, it doesn't matter. What matters is that we won and none of us are going to have the displeasure of being the first person voted out of the game. I think these first three days could very well be indicative of how our tribe fares for the rest of the game. We're dominating challenges, our camp is rockin', and none of us are rubbing each other the wrong way. So that other tribe better watch out because I don't think there is anything at this point that is gonna bring us down!(Smirking)

–Griffin

Jane: You guys did such a great job on that first part. The other team wasn't even close!

Andy(Smiling): Thanks! But give all the credit to Ferrari. She's the one that lead us throughout that entire portion.

Ferrari(Blushing): Aw, stop it! It was nothing. I thought everyone did really good.

Reggie: Yeah, but you were across the water and over those hills like lightning, man! I couldn't keep up!

Ferrari blushes once again at the compliments she is getting about her superior challenge performance.

I think, going into this challenge, everyone thought I would be weak because I'm just the young little beauty queen who SO doesn't know what she's doing, right? Wrong! And I oh-so-perfectly proved that today when I beat everyone on my tribe and the other tribe back to the starting line. I showed that I'm not some stupid model chick who can't learn how to pick up her feet and run, I'm a fighter. And I think that people around are going to start appreciating me a lot more now.(Winking)

–Ferrari

The view focuses on Ferrari happily chatting with her fellow tribemates before the camera makes the transition to the Cusco camp.

Cusco[]

A disappointed Cusco tribe is zoomed in on as they all make their way back to camp sullenly after their loss at the first immunity challenge. The camera closes in on Michael as everyone starts to drop their things off and disperse throughout camp.

Well, we lost today. And that really sucks, especially since one of us is gonna have to get kicked off first tonight at Tribal. But I am a firm believer in staying focused on the present. We can't dwell on past stuff or we're never gonna be able to pull off a win. We just need to figure out who needs to go home tonight so that we can benefit in the next challenge. That's what this game is all about and if we try and stray from that this early on, we'll be dead in the water in no time.(Sighing)

–Michael

The scene then immediately jumps to Ivan, Michael, and Leo in a secluded spot of camp, discussing possible options for the upcoming vote.

Michael(Upset): Man, this sucks!

Ivan: I know. I can't believe we've got to cut someone from the team this early in.

Michael: Definitely. But we've got no choice, so we might as well figure out who we want to vote for tonight. Who do you guys think needs to go?

Leo: I mean, this might be a bit obvious, but I say Vienna. She's been nothing but a nuisance since we got to camp and I don't want to be dealing with her little tantrums any longer than I have to. I say Vienna goes tonight.

Ivan nods in agreement while Michael seems a bit more unsure about Leo's proposal.

Although it is unfortunate that we lost today, I'm actually feeling a bit of glee inside of me at the same time. Losing the challenge gives me the perfect opportunity to get Vienna out of here. Ever since we got to our camp, she's done nothing but whine, bitch, and moan about every little thing you could think of. She is straight-up annoying and I don't want that kind of energy floating around the tribe any longer. It's time to get the rotten apple out of the barrel and hopefully come back strong in the next challenge.

–Leo

Leo notices Michael's perplexed expression and calls him on it.

Leo(Raising an eyebrow): Is there a problem, Mike?

Michael: No. It's just that Vienna performed pretty well in today's challenge. If we want a good chance at coming back and winning the next challenge, we need as much strength as possible. And Julia just did not perform up to par in my personal opinion.

Ivan(Nodding in agreement): Yeah. She was slower than everyone else on the course. Even that piano guy on the other team. I think she might be the better choice to go first.

Leo crinkles his face before retorting his argument back to Ivan and Michael.

Leo: I get your points and I do agree that Julia is the physically weakest person on our tribe going off of the challenge. But I also think that having a harmonious camp life is important to a strong and unified team as well. No one on this tribe is trying to stir the pot here except for Vienna. Not Julia, not Kerry, not Alexis, not any of us! It's just her. She's made herself the odd one out and I think we need to extinguish that as fast as possible.

Michael and Ivan look at each other with uneasy faces before looking back to Leo.

Ivan: I mean, if that is really what you want to do, then I'm fine with voting Vienna out. She is a pain in the ass, after all. But I don't know what this will mean for future challenges.

Leo(Smiling): We'll be fine without her. Don't you guys worry.

Leo pats both of them on the back as they continue to affirm a Vienna vote for the impending Tribal Council.

While I do see the guys' points about Julia potentially being a better target than Vienna, I'm still standing by my original stance. Vienna is sucking the life out of this tribe with her abrasive and vile personality and I am personally fed up with it. It's her time to go. Plain and simple. The other girls may not be able to handle the weather out here but at least they can bring some positivity and unity to our tribe. Something that Vienna can never, ever, do. Like, ever!(Chuckling)

–Leo

The view shifts to a bit later in the day as Vienna is seen sitting on the edge of the shelter while Michael and Ivan tend to the fire.

Going into Tribal Council tonight, I’m not stupid! I know perfectly well that my behavior has been rubbing a lot of these people the wrong way. Does it worry me? I’d be lying if I said that I wasn’t a little nervous going into the vote tonight. But I know that if I can talk to the right people with the right attitude, I can easily get the vote to swing the way I want it to.(Smirking)

–Vienna

As Michael and Ivan are working on the fire, Vienna decides to try and get a feel for where their votes might be going for the upcoming vote.

Vienna: So what are you guys basing your votes off of for tonight?

Michael looks over for a second before turning back and giving her an answer.

Michael(Nonchalantly): I don't know yet. Probably tribal unity and strength or something like that.

Ivan nods in agreement as Vienna rolls her eyes and shakes her head.

Vienna(Bluntly): Look, I know what you two are thinking. And all I can say is that you're making a big time mistake.

Ivan raises an eyebrow as Michael looks back over to Vienna, gesturing for her to elaborate on what she has just said.

Vienna: If you think that keeping someone like Carly or Julia here over me is gonna help the "strength" or "unity" of this team, then you are sorely mistaken. Neither of them contributed crap at today's challenge and on top of that, they look like they are ready to break down crying any minute now.

Michael finds himself nodding his head, agreeing somewhat with Vienna's viewpoint.

Vienna: I know I'm a bitch, but I'm ready to dig deep and fight for this tribe to make sure we win the second challenge, and I just don't think you're gonna get that kind of spunk from a person like Julia. I'm not telling you to vote for anyone, but I'm just saying that I'll be writing her name down tonight, and I hope that you two will do the same if you want to win some freaking challenges.

Ivan looks to Michael as Michael looks to Ivan with the same exact looks of perplexity before Michael speaks up.

Michael: We're definitely thinking about that. Nothing is concrete yet.

Vienna(Smirking): Good.

The men then continue their work as Vienna kicks back and relaxes in the shelter with a soft smile on her face.

As much as I despise Leo and his antics with a passion, I know that if I go in like the crazy lady trying to take out this big challenge threat, I'll be out for sure. So instead I made sure to stay very calm, cool, and collected with my argument to take out one of the weaker girls. I think I more than proved my worth in the challenge today while Julia did nothing but drag. Hopefully, those boys will realize that I'm better for the team than her. But I can't get too comfy, after all, the people on this tribe aren't the brightest of bulbs.(Rolling her eyes)

–Vienna

The camera shows Vienna lounging in the shelter before the scene is transitioned to the beach where Alexis, Carly, and Julia are all hanging out and chatting.

Alexis(Upset): Misery sure needs our company today because I think that these past two days have sucked worse than any other day in my entire life.

Julia(Nodding): Yeah, especially after being so close to victory. You two were killing it on that puzzle though, unlike little ol' me who had to be dragged to the line.

Carly: You did fine. I don't think it would have helped much anyway. We just need to keep our spirits up for tonight. Once we get through this, I'm sure we'll come back a stronger team.

Alexis nods as Julia takes a deep breath.

I'm feeling pretty sucky right now. My number one goal for these last three days was to prove my worth to the tribe and I feel like I failed at doing that at the challenge today. It just blows to have all this crap hitting you in the face at once. But I can take it. I need to stay focused on what is important and that's staying in the game. For both me and my son.(Taking a deep breath)

–Julia

Carly: As far as I'm concerned, you're safe Julia. There's only one name I'm writing down tonight.

Alexis(Giggling): Yeah. Vienna with a capital V.

Julia bites her lip at this, immediately speaking up.

Julia(Concerned): Although I agree with you two that Vienna is obnoxious, I'm scared about the repercussions that will follow if we send her on home tonight.

Carly(Confused): What do you mean?

Julia: I mean that we could potentially be screwing ourselves by letting Leo, Michael, and Ivan stay in the game. Have you seen how close they are?

Alexis and Carly both stay quiet, dawned by the realization of what Julia is saying.

Julia: All they need is Kerry and they have a strong, four-guy, alliance. And I don't know about you two, but I do not want to deal with that anytime soon.

Alexis: That is, like, really true. But what are you suggesting we do about it?

Julia: I'm gonna have a chat with Kerry soon. I feel like I've become pretty close with him and I feel comfortable about floating around the idea of breaking up that power three. If we decide to do so, would you two girls be okay with that?

Both girls nod as a gesture of affirmation for Julia's potential plan as she herself nods and walks off to find Kerry.

As I was thinking about the situation, I realized that I potentially screw myself if I just sit back and let Vienna go like some innocent bystander. These guys have grown so incredibly tight over the last few days that it is clearly evident that they won't be voting each other out anytime soon. So it might be up to me to try and make that happen. Is it a risk? For sure. But I feel good about my relationship with Kerry and I'm hoping he'll agree that these guys are getting too close for comfort.(Smiling hopefully)

–Julia

The view then switches to a view of the sun starting to get lower in the sky before showing Julia and Kerry talking by the water well.

Julia: So what have you been hearing for tonight as far as the boot goes?

Kerry: Mostly Vienna. I've heard your name come up a bit too.

Julia: And I've been expecting that. But that's not the main reason I'm worried.

Kerry raises an eyebrow at this statement as it is not what he was expecting.

Kerry: Why are you worried then?

Julia: I'm concerned about those three guys. They've grown too tight over the past few days for my liking and I think that even if I make it past this vote, I'm still screwed because those three are running the tribe.

Kerry(Contemplating): I see. And you want my help in potentially getting one of them out tonight?

Julia: Yeah. If you were on board with that, of course.

Kerry: Interesting. Although I do agree with you about those guys being together, I think it is way too early to start picking off our strongest tribe members.

Julia: I know. But I'm still worried that if we don't do something now, we'll be goners at the next Tribal Council.

Kerry nods, considering Julia's scenario.

On Survivor, it always seems like the first boot should be the easiest. Just get rid of the person who's weak or annoying or whatever and move on, right? Except not really. When it comes down to it, it is a question of strength versus strategy. Long-term versus short-term goals. And at this point, I think we need strength. We haven't had one good day out here yet and I think the only way we're gonna win is if we stay strong and get rid of the bad seed. The bad seed being Vienna. But you never know, things can change at the drop of a hat in this game.

–Kerry

Kerry: It's starting to get dark. We should probably start getting ready for Tribal.

Julia nods as the two of them start walking back to camp.

Ugh, why does this game have to be so difficult?(Laughing) I'm seriously so paranoid and scared right now. If Vienna goes, then we have a peaceful camp, but I also could screw myself by leaving one of these strong guys in the game. If one of them goes, however, then we almost guarantee another challenge loss along with another three days of Vienna's crazy antics. It's such a hard decision to make so early on and at this point, all I can do is shut up and hope that it isn't me going first!

–Julia

The camera shows all the members of the Cusco tribe starting their walk to Tribal Council as the brightness of the sunset is completely drained by the darkness brought on by the night. Intense music is cued in as the camera rapidly zooms in on the Tribal Council area, surrounded by Incan temples and ruins. The eight castaways are seen making their way through the entrance and standing in front of their seats as Probst welcomes them.

Probst: Behind each of you is a torch. Go ahead and grab a torch and dip it in the flame because in this game fire represents your life. Once your fire is gone, so are you.

After everyone has lit their torch and placed it in the respective holder, they all sit down and await the questioning to begin.

Probst: Alright, welcome to Tribal Council. Ivan, twenty minutes into this game, you were forced to run through one of the local villages and find your own supplies. How did your tribe fare when it came to getting the materials that you needed from the village?

Ivan(A bit hesitant): We did okay, but I think when it came to working together and trying to be organized, we kind of failed. It was pretty much all of us running throughout the village like a bunch of crazy people more than anything else.

Michael can be seen nodding at this as Probst turns towards Leo.

Probst: And, Leo, how did that translate into getting stuff done when you guys first arrived at camp?

Leo(Smirking): Well we were a big, fat, mess, that's what it turned into!

A few people laugh as Leo continues on a more serious note.

Leo: We didn't have a whole lot to work with, the weather sucked, and we even had people yelling and screaming at each other!

Probst: Who was yelling and screaming?

Leo: That would be Vienna over here.

Vienna simply shakes her head and rolls her eyes as she brushes Leo's accusations off of her back.

Probst: Vienna, do you think that you've been causing conflict among the tribe?

Vienna: I mean, I'm not gonna deny that me and Leo have a had a few verbal altercations about how the shelter was being done, but that was just me raising an opinion. It didn't turn into an argument until he made it one.

Leo(Firing back): You were the one that came up to me and started complaining! Not the other way around!

Vienna(Sassily): Who was right about the roof? Huh? I was. Not you. So just shut up.

Leo just shakes his head and groans as he can barely stand even trying to communicate with Vienna.

Probst: So Vienna, are you worried that all this apparent drama that you are starting is making you a target?

Vienna: That is something I've been considering and it could very well be me going tonight. But I just hope everyone remembers who pulled their weight in the challenge today and who didn't before making these pronouncements about tribal unity and strength.

Julia bites her lip, knowing that Vienna is referring to her.

Probst: Going off of that, Julia, you struggled in that challenge today.

Julia(Nodding): Yeah, I did. And I'm definitely worried that it may cost me tonight. All I can say is that I have many other strengths that haven't been seen yet and that I'm a hard worker who isn't gonna spend all day stirring up drama.

Vienna rolls her eyes as Leo is seen nodding in agreement.

Probst: So Michael, what factors are you considering going into tonight's vote?

Michael: I'm looking for someone who isn't just strong in challenges or around camp, I'm looking for someone who also has a strong will. Yeah, it has been a rough start, but we'll get through it. There are just a few people here who I think might be checking out already thanks to the bad weather from yesterday.

Julia shakes her head as Carly sucks in her lips out of worry.

Probst: Kerry, what about you? Are you basing your vote off of strength, harmony, or willpower?

Kerry: It's a tough question, Jeff, because there are so many pros and cons to each option. Once you think you've gotten it figured out, there's some catch that pops up and makes you rethink everything. This first vote could very well dictate whether we make it or break it as a tribe depending on who we ultimately decide to send packing.

Leo raises an eyebrow as Probst nods and begins speaking once again.

Probst: Alright, it is time to vote. Ivan, you're up.

One by one, each member of the Cusco tribe casts their vote for who they want off of the tribe. Leo's and Vienna's confessionals are aired to the general public as Kerry is seen coming up and voting last before placing his parchment in the urn and heading back to take his seat.

Probst: I'll go tally the votes.

The camera shows us various shots of Leo, Vienna, and Julia awaiting the vote as Probst comes back with the urn in hand.

Probst: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

First vote: Vienna (1-0)

Vienna smirks, knowing fully that her name was coming up tonight.

Second vote: Vienna (2-0)

Vienna rolls her eyes as Leo is seen smirking in hopefulness and glee.

Third vote: Julia (2-1)

Julia takes a deep breath at the reality of getting a vote.

Fourth vote: Vienna (3-1)

Fifth vote: Vienna (4-1)

Vienna just shakes her head in dismay as she starts to reach for her things before Probst has even pulled the next ballot out of the urn.

Sixth vote:

Probst: First person voted out of Survivor: Peru....................Vienna. That's five and that's enough. You need to bring me your torch.

Vienna nods and stands up to retrieve her torch while Julia breaths a huge sigh of relief as Kerry gives her a warm, reassuring, smile. Leo looks over at Ivan and grins as the lion tamer could not be more jubilant about the results of the vote and is savoring the moment that Vienna places her torch in the holder.

Probst: Vienna, the tribe has spoken.

With her torch snuffed, Vienna walks out of the Tribal Council without saying another word as Leo smirks at her silent exit. Carly pats Julia on the back as the single mother is alleviated to still be in the game.

Probst: Well, in the battle between tribal strength and harmony, you guys opted to go with harmony. Only time will tell if you made the right decision. You guys can head on back to camp. Good night.

The view focuses on the seven remaining members of the Cusco tribe as they all grab their torches and head out as the intro music cues in before the screen fades to the credits.

Final Words[]

And so ends my whole three days of Survivor experience. Pretty good, despite all the yelling I did during it.(Laughing) I wish everyone on my tribe luck. Since they just voted out their strongest woman in challenges, they're gonna need it. And I hope they put all the stuff that I got for them in the village to good use. Cuz it's obvious that I won't have a use for it anymore! Oh, and Leo, go back to the circus. That's the only place where a person like you is able to function. Au revoir!(Waving)
