Alexa Miller is a contestant from Survivor: Gilbert Islands.

Despite her rocky start on the Makin tribe due to a rivalry with ally-turned-enemy Terri McMullen, Alexa was known throughout the merge for her impeccable social game, making crucial friendships with Rebecca Jones, Chad Strickland, and most importantly, Jerome Thomas. When her friends were systematically eliminated from the game, she did her best to survive, but was ultimately voted out in fourth place.

Claim to Fame: Landing a modeling contract not long after college and having the privilege of telling off my boss at my old job immediately afterwards. It was glorious.

Inspiration in Life: My cheerleading coach in high school. Me and the other girls on the cheer team had the privilege of hearing her tell us all about her life; essentially, she's a woman who doesn't take sh*t from anyone. While I'm not confrontational like she is - except when it comes to my old boss - I do look up to her for being so independent and strong-willed.

Hobbies: Flirting - does that count as a hobby? I also love watching Survivor and reading a good book every once in a while.

Pet Peeves: People that don't. Stop. Talking. It drives me crazy more than you could EVER understand.

3 Words to Describe You: Optimistic, independent, & intelligent

If You Could Bring One Thing on the Island With You, What Would You Bring and Why?: Ooh, that's hard. I'd say a bar of soap. I'm not as vain as you might think, really I swear, but everyone's gonna smell really awful on the island.

Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: Although my modeling contract is pretty solid right now, I could always use the money. I'm also a big fan of the show and have always wanted to try it out.

What is Your Strategy to Become the Sole Survivor?: I'm gonna be all smiles out there. Miss Sunshine, if you will. The nicer and more positive I am, the more everyone else will want to keep me around. I don't doubt that some of the people will piss me off while I'm there, but I'm planning on sucking it up and still acting nice towards them. I also think flirting will help me out while I'm on the island, especially if the men are taking control strategically.

Survivor: Gilbert Islands

Alexa started off the game working on the palm fronds, and through that, she managed to form a strong friendship with Lauren Cho. She also befriended Jerome Thomas, who tried to flirt with her until he realized she was only 21 years old. Through her connections to Lauren and Jerome, Alexa quickly found herself in a power majority alliance alongside Luis Martinez and Terri McMullen. However, not long after the alliance formed, Alexa began to feel as if Terri could become a threat in the future and found her to be untrustworthy, telling Lauren this information. Lauren almost immediately spilled this to Chad Strickland, who worked alongside minority alliance members Erica Foley and Vincent Kraus to turn the two women against each other. However, their plan failed, and Alexa voted with the rest of her alliance to eliminate Vincent from the game.

Once Vincent was gone, Erica lined herself up as an easy next boot by breaking off her alliance with Chad; Chad himself was almost instantly picked up into the tight grouping between Luis and Terri. However, everything changed when Jerome learned that Lauren had started the conflict between Alexa and Terri by telling the minority that Alexa didn't trust the older woman, which led to Lauren falling to the bottom of the tribe and being the next to go. Despite this, though, Chad and Terri saw the opportunity with Lauren to make a move against Alexa, the most vocal of the people wanting Lauren gone. They tried to recruit Erica and Luis to make the move, but the two flipped and Lauren was eliminated 4-3 as planned. Because of Terri's attempted blindside, she was flung to the bottom of the tribe and was unanimously eliminated at the next vote, much to Alexa's joy.

At the merge, Jerome learned that Chad, Erica, and Luis planned on going to the final three together, so when Abaiang tribe members Dottie Jansen and Kent Lee planned to flip on their tribe to eliminate Troy Davis, they seized the opportunity and formed a secret alliance with Troy and his closest ally Rebecca Jones. In a convoluted 5-3-2 split vote, Alexa and Jerome successfully convinced the rest of the Makin tribe to eliminate Adam Johnson from the game as a threat, causing Troy to stage a flip to the Makin alliance the next round.

Now six-strong (seven counting Rebecca's secret allegiance), Alexa's alliance easily got rid of social threat Dottie the very next round, but not without Troy campaigning for Chad, a very shaky and unpredictable number, to be eliminated instead. This scheme caused Alexa and Jerome to lose trust in Troy; this feeling was mutual, however, and after reaching a breaking point, Troy informed Kent of the secret alliance between Alexa, Jerome, and Rebecca; this news spread, and in a narrow 5-3 vote, Alexa was unable to save her close friend Rebecca from elimination at the hands of Troy and his new alliance.

Alexa did have luck, however, as she formed a very strong friendship with potential swing vote Chad. As the friendship grew more and more, Chad eventually decided to flip for good and attempted to get Kent or Erica on his side to blindside the other alliance's leader, Luis, from the game. Chad's pleas failed, however, and he voted for Alexa to go home. Luckily for Alexa, though, the majority alliance decided Chad was being too much of a liability and voted him off instead in a 4-2-1 vote, making him the second friend of Alexa's to leave in a row. The next round, Alexa had more luck and was able to convince Erica and Kent to flip and blindside Luis for real, but not without them both considering using Jerome to blindside her for her strong social game and persuasive skills.

Now at the final five, Alexa and Jerome knew they'd be in trouble, and after they both lost the immunity challenge, they quickly came to the realization that they'd have to turn on each other. They tried to target the unstable and paranoid Kent instead, but nobody else was on board even with Jerome bonding strongly with Troy over the previous few days. Kent tried his hardest to get Alexa out of the game for being a social threat, but Erica and Troy both refused, instead eliminating physical threat Jerome from the game and leaving Alexa all alone. She tried her best to convince the others that Kent was too much of a liability and needed to go, and when that failed, she and Kent discussed how Erica and Troy became a tight duo and would most likely go to the end together. In the end, though, Kent didn't budge, and Alexa became the sixth member of the jury in a 3-1 vote.
