Story[]

Night 9[]

Redemption Island[]

The episode opens with an aerial shot of the speedboat carrying Heather to Redemption Island cutting through the dark, midnight ocean waves. The shot changes, showing Heather seated and holding on tightly. Her eyes are red and puffy, cheeks are moist, but she has managed to stop crying.

Maldivesheather (sad/quietly) I'm in shock... for many reasons. I truly thought I was heading back to camp tonight, I'm speechless. I can't believe that Pasha sold me out to Natalie and Jillian. I'm shocked. But (nervous giggle)... at least I have a chance to win my way back into the game.
HEATHER

The boat reaches the shoreline and Heather jumps out, splashing into the shallow ocean below. Kelly walks mid way out into the water to greet her, welcoming Heather with open arms and a smile.

Heather (excited): Oh, it's you!

Kelly and Heather hug.

Kelly (friendly): It's nice to see you again, hunny.

Heather tightens her grasp on Kelly, not wanting to let go. Beginning to sniffle, Heather then buries her face into Kelly's shoulder before breaking out into tears once again.

Kelly (sympathetically): Shhhh, it's okay. It's just a game.

Upset, Heather gasps for air.

Heather (crying): I got blindsided!

The expression on Kelly's face to his news shows her compassion for Heather.

Kelly (softly): I'm sorry, I really am.

Maldiveskelly Getting voted off is not easy, and being blindsided I'm sure makes it a thousand percent worse! I feel bad for Heather, but I hope to use her emotional instability to my advantage in tomorrow's duel.
KELLY

Maldivesheather I was happy to see Kelly when I arrived, I didn't know who it would be. Geri voted me off the first round and I didn't know Isaac, but Kelly and I got along while she was on my tribe. If I had to spend my moment of weakness with any of those three, I'm happy it was her.
HEATHER

Alifu[]

A transition shot is shown of the waves softly crashing against the Alifu tribal beach, while their boat floats nearby, just off shore. It's a dark, warm, still night. The clouds cover the entirety of the sky, forcing the girls to use the coals of their burnt out fire to lead them up toward their camp.

Everyone remains quiet. Dorothy sets her bag down as she glances at the fire, she then kneels down and begins to stoke it.

Maldivesdorothy Tonight didn't go nearly as planned, but I'm still here so I'd consider it successful. Katie and I flipped on Heather strictly because we didn't want to draw rocks. Pasha wasn't flipping, and I wasn't about to risk my own Survivor life for Heather.
DOROTHY

With a heavy sigh, Jillian drops her back into the shelter with a loud smash.

Jillian (passively): Thanks guys...

Natalie, who's standing beside Jillian, immediately begins to rub her shoulders, sensing her frustration.

Jillian (annoyed): I'm fine.

Jillian shrugs away Natalie's grasp.

Katie stands off to the side, remaining quiet, watching.

Dorothy looks up to Jillian from the fire.

Dorothy: You know, Jillian, this attitude is exactly why you were targeted tonight. A girl who wanted to be here so badly just left, so try and show a little grace about remaining in the game.

Jillian scoffs and opens her mouth as if she's about to say something, but simply holds her hand up and walks away. Dorothy rolls her eyes and goes back to working on the fire.

Maldivesjillian I'm hurt because a girl who I considered my friend, who I brought into my alliance, tried to get me sent home. I'm thankful to still be here, but I'm not going to pretend I'm happy when I'm so pissed off.
JILLIAN

Pasha follows after Jillian, who's walking alone down the beach aimlessly.

Pasha (sympathetically): Hey, are you okay?

Jillian turns around, surprised someone had followed after her, allowing for Pasha to catch up.

Jillian (quietly): Yeah, I'm fine.

Pasha: Don't worry about it. You're here another few days, and we have the numbers over Dorothy and Katie, it's fine! At least we know now that everyone left in our alliance is loyal.

Maldivespasha Loyalty is the biggest thing for me in this game, and that's why I wrote Heather's name down twice. Jill got a good scare tonight, whether she'd like to admit it or not. I'm hoping now she'll see the error in her ways and at least work harder around camp.
PASHA

Back at camp, Katie crouches down next to Dorothy, who's finishing up on the fire. Dorothy looks at Katie, who says nothing as she stares into the growing flames, illuminating her face with an orange glow.

Katie (whispering): ... Right back to square one.

Dorothy shrugs.

Dorothy (optimistically): Don't look at it like that. We're safe another few days, another chance to fight. Look for the positive, it's one step closer to being the sole survivor.

Katie nods without saying any more words.

Maldiveskaitlynn It's funny how this game works. Just a few days ago I was throwing Dorothy under the bus in order to raise my own ranking within the tribe, and now she's my closest ally. Those girls are cliquey, and unfortunately I guess I was deemed unworthy of their trust.
KATIE

Day 10[]

Redemption Island[]

The scene opens with Kelly scraping the tenth tally into the side of a tree as she's been keeping track of the days. As she finishes, Kelly blows and wipes away any remaining debris from the side of the tree.

Maldiveskelly It's hard to believe it's already a double digit day, this game is going so fast. Another day, another duel, I just hope I perform well enough to continue moving on in the competition.
KELLY

The scene changes showing both Kelly and Heather sitting under a palm tree, the breeze playing with both of their hair as they look out onto the open ocean.

Heather (curiously): I mean, I'll understand if you don't want to tell me, but what should I expect from today?

Kelly: That's the thing, I don't even know. Both duels so far have been so different it's hard to say what could be next.

Heather nods her head.

Heather (quietly): (Nervous Giggle) I'm not going to lie, I'm scared to death.

Kelly(quietly): Yeah...

Maldiveskelly I don't want to give Heather any idea of what could be happening today, instead I want her to think I'm just as nervous about it as she is. I need her believing my weak persona in order to defeat her later on today. I'm not trying to be a bitch, I'm just trying to stay here past another elimination.
KELLY

The camera then shows Kelly packing her bag, before focusing on Heather behind her, who's also packing.

Maldivesheather In an hour one of us wont be here. I love Kelly, but I'm desperately hoping that I have what it takes to send her home. I need closure, and my closure is getting back into that game and ensuring that Jillian goes home.
HEATHER

The two ladies walk down the beach, Kelly leading but with Heather not too far behind, both heading to the Redemption Island Arena.

-Commercial Break-

Heather and Kelly walk into the arena with their arms linked, causing Jeff to grin. As the two women stand before him, Heather leans into Kelly and whispers that her heart is beating through her chest. Kelly giggles, and says that hers is too.

Challenge: Block It Out
The castaways would bounce four blocks along a rope tunnel to retrieve them. The blocks would then need to be stacked so that one color didn't show more than once on each column. The first two castaways to solve their puzzle would remain in the game.

Upon completion of the duel, Heather falls to her knees and buries her face into the palms of her two hands, crying tears of joy. Meanwhile, Kelly is left standing beside her with her hands resting on her hips, looking to the ground in disappointment.

Heather rises from the ground, and gives Kelly a hug.

Heather (compassionately): I'm so sorry, I shouldn't have reacted like that.

Kelly: (Smiles) It's okay, congratulations.

Heather nods her head.

Heather (quietly): Thank you.

Standing before Jeff, Kelly is addressed one last time.

Jeff Probst: After winning two duels, how does it feel to have put forth that much effort only to lose now?

Kelly exhales.

Kelly (dissapointed): Well, Jeff, it's hard. I put my heart and soul into this game, and I feel as though I had so much potential. I got stuck on a tribe with a bunch of girls with a high school mentality (Heather nods her head) and unfortunately they couldn't look passed my age. I've proved myself physically in this game, and had I been given a real chance, I know I'd have been in it until the end. It's rough, but I'm so thankful for this experience.

Jeff Probst: Well Kelly, after ten long days out here in the Maldive Islands your journey has come to an end. It's time for you to leave, throw your buff into the fire on your way out.

With a smile, Kelly nods her head and gives Heather one last final hug.

Kelly: (Looking into Heather's eyes) Good luck, I know you see the nasty truth in those girls. Win this thing, get back in there, and take them out.

Heather nods her head.

Heather (quietly): (Nodding) I will.

As Kelly walks away she gives Jeff a final wave, to which he gives her a nod. Kelly approaches the urn, drops her buff, and watches it as it's engulfed in flames. With one last final sigh, Kelly looks back, then walks out of the Redemption Island Arena.

Day 11[]

Twist[]

Jeff Probst: Come on in, guys!

The Dhaalu tribe enters the beach from one side, while the Alifu tribe enters from another. All the men are surprised to learn that Heather, who they had viewed as one of Alifu's strongest members, had been voted off.

Jeff Probst: Dev, I can't help but notice how surprised you look at Heather's absence, does this give you much more confidence in your own tribe?

Dev (arrogantly): Yeah, I mean, we're kicking ass as it is, and if they want to help us out more then it's much appreciated! (Laughs).

Jeff Smirks.

Jeff Probst: Well, don't get too comfortable. Drop your buffs, we're switching tribes.

The expression on Dev's face drops, as does everyone elses. However a close up of Aneal shows him smiling.

Maldivesaneal A tribe switch is great news for me. I would have been going home had we attended another tribal council, so this gives me completely new life out here. Besides, every girl wants a gay best friend (Laughs).

Alifu[]

A transition shot is shown of a dirty pot that has rice burnt to its inside as flies buzz around it.

Natalie (cheery): Welcome home!

Natalie and Katie, the only former Alifu members, lead Aneal, Justin, Dev, and Tony up toward their new camp.

Maldivesnatalie I don't feel secure at all. The only person here I know is Katie, the girl I used for information and who knows I was against her. It'll be a lot easier for those boys to figure out the dynamic between me and her than it will for me to learn their alliances.
NATALIE

Tony looks around in disbelief at the state of the Alifu camp.

Tony (Jokingly): (Chuckles) Looks like we have some work to do here...

Natalie smacks the side of his arm.

Natalie: Hey! (Laughs) Be nice!

Maldivestony The camp is dirty, the shelter sucks, and the main living area is in shambles. How can I put this nicely? It's like day one all over again.
TONY

Natalie points to Justin.

Natalie (joking): You, Justin, what do you think?

Justin laughs.

Justin: You don't want to know!

Natalie: Ugh! (Giggles)

Natalie playfully rolls her eyes.

The shot then focuses onto Katie, who looks directly into the camera, looking annoyed.

Maldiveskaitlynn Natalie's so fake. She's playing nice to get on the boys' good side, that way she can wiggle her way in and save herself.
KATIE

Maldivesnatalie I'll flirt and manipulate these boys in any way necessary to stay in this game. I don't plan on leaving this soon, nuh-uh, no way! So boys, prepare to get slayed.
NATALIE

Work then begins on the shelters reconstruction and the cleaning of camp. A montage is shown of Tony chopping down small trees, and carrying them back to camp as Justin cuts them up into smaller pieces.

Dev, who's helping Natalie clean the area, turns to her.

Dev: Honestly, no offence, I don't know how you guys don't have rats and other bugs.

Natalie just shrugs.

Natalie: Well, we do, actually...

Dev: huh...

Dev just nods his head, looking around the ground, accepting that at any moment a four legged critter could scamper past him. Natalie laughs.

Natalie (playfully): I'm just kidding!

Dev glares at Natalie as she goes back to scrubbing out the pot, before cracking a smile and chuckling.

A shot of a mouse scurrying around on the ground is shown between scenes.

Aneal and Tony walk down the jungle path together, far out of sight from any of the other castaways. As they walk, they talk about the current dynamics of the game.

Tony (curious): So what are you thinking?

Aneal: Well, no offence, I'm definitely able to breath a small sigh of relief.

Tony laughs.

Tony: You know you've always been able to take me for my word, right?

Aneal: I mean, you've never talked to me, so I can only assume these things.

Tony grins.

Tony: Well that's what I'm doing right now.

Aneal smirks.

Aneal: I can tell.

Maldivesaneal Tony approached me and started talking game, which I thought was almost laughable. It's day 11 and you want to talk to me now? It's so obvious that he's scrounging for numbers, but I'll entertain him.
ANEAL

Tony (whispering): So here's what I was thinking, and this was before the switch. Obviously there was an alliance (Aneal nods), you know it, and I know you know it. Me and Marcus were really tight and have our own deal, and I'm almost sure that Dev, Justin, and Nick do too. We don't trust them, and honestly, I think they'll turn on us, I really do. So Marcus and myself were going to approach you and Fabian about flipping the game on them and voting them out.

Aneal (whispering): Okay...

Tony: The switch makes things a little tricky, but I'm sure we're still on the same page. I'm approaching you, just like I'm sure Marcus will talk to Fabian about this entire plan. If we lose, I want You, Me, and the two girls, to vote for one of the boys. If Dhaalu loses, I'm confident Marcus will take out Nick by default.

Aneal nods his head, following along.

Aneal (jokingly): (Giggles) Okay, I like what I'm hearing...

Tony: (Chuckles) I figured you would, we just need to secure that Natalie and Katie would be on board with us.

Aneal: Yeah, completely.

Tony: Here's the thing, if Dev or Justin catch on, they could try and pull some dirty trick. I think we should vote for Justin first as they would assume any move against them coming from you would involve Dev leaving. This plan needs a blindside to make sure that it goes smoothly.

Aneal shrugs.

Aneal: Just a casualty of war, Dev will get his eventually.

Tony: Right!

Both men stand in silence for a moment.

Tony (curiously): So, is this official, do we have a deal?

Aneal cracks a smile.

Aneal: Yeah, you have my word.

Tony (enthusiastic): Awesome!

Tony extends his arm and Aneal shakes his hand, looking Tony in the eyes as he does so.

Maldivestony As long as I pull in Natalie and Katie for security, everything should go as planned. Marcus and I talked about this flip before the switch, so I can only hope that Marcus remembers that and doesn't chicken out in order to keep close to familiar, old friends close.
TONY

Maldivesaneal I don't know how much I trust Tony, but I'll never say no to an alliance. I'm waiting to see how much of his story is authentic, and how much is just him lying to gain more numbers now that we've switched. It'll be interesting to see Dhaalu go to tribal council, because if Marcus doesn't follow through with what Tony claims, then I know he's lying to me.
ANEAL

Back at camp Natalie uses her fingernails to pick away at the chard pieces of rice which has permanently cooked itself to the side of the boiling pot, struggling and not making much progress, she lets out a sigh and wipes the sweat off of her forehead with the back of her hand. Dev leans over and picks up a stick, handing it to Natalie with a gracious smile.

Dev: This will probably work better.

Natalie: (Smiling) Thank you.

Dev crouches down beside her as Natalie continues her work.

Dev (whispering): (Leaning in toward Natalie) So, what's the happening around here?

Natalie smirks.

Natalie: You tell me, this might be my former camp but the ratio of guys to girls tells me you know more about these people than I do.

Dev shrugs and smiles.

Dev (chuckling): True.

Maldivesnatalie The only original members of Alifu left are myself and Katie, you know, the girl I have openly played against in this game. I don't trust her, so I have to get in good with these boys. Dev's coming over with that look in his eyes and a nice gentlemanly smile, nuh-uh. Not my type, and way too young. I'm not willing to share too much of what I know with him, but I could use any attraction he has to me as a shield if he does indeed have numbers on his side.
NATALIE

Dev looks across camp out of the corner of his eye, and into Katie's direction.

Dev (whispering): What about her, is she cool?

Continuing to scrape the pot clean, Natalie reacts to Dev's question by flaring her nostrils. Dev laughs.

Dev: Okay, all I need to know!

Natalie giggles.

Natalie (whispering): She's honestly such a coniving little bitch, if we had gone to another tribal council the whole tribe would have voted her out. Katie's a trouble maker, all she does is stir (bleep) up. She had an alliance with everyone on the beach, and her game fell apart pretty quickly.

Dev mouths the word, 'wow', to which Natalie just raises her eyebrows and nods her head.

Natalie (whispering): She's a very aggressive player, and I don't trust her. I know she's gunning for me just because I know what she's like, so just be weary of what she tells you.

Dev: Oh yeah, absolutely.

Maldivesnatalie I planted a few seeds into Dev's mind, hoping he'll run and tell the other men. (shrugs) Maaaaaybe not necessarily the most truthful seeds, but I'll water them as equally as the rest of my garden nonetheless.
NATALIE

Maldivesdev Natalie gave me some nifty information about one of my new tribe mates. Natalie could be flat out lying to me, but she's an innocent, naive looking girl, so it's doubtful. Either way it's something I didn't know twenty minutes ago, so I'll cherish what she told me all the same.
DEV

Katie notices both Dev and Natalie sitting with one another, giggling, on the other side of camp. A close up shot of Natalie laughing is shown before the camera cuts back to Katie, who's rolling her eyes.

Maldiveskaitlynn The more and more I get to know Natalie, the more I'm convinced she's the most fakest person I've ever met. I started this game thinking she was super sweet and on my side, and as each day passes I learn that things are the exact opposite with her. I haven't seen her laugh so much this entire game, and that bikini top? Oh please. She's just trying to gain favor with the guys to vote me out and it's absolutely sickening.
KATIE

Aneal, who's walking past after returning from his walk with Tony, catches Katie's eye roll.

Aneal (jokingly): If looks could kill... (Laughs)

Katie shrugs and giggles.

Katie: (With a smile) Sometimes I wish they did.

Aneal glares over toward Natalie, then back to Katie.

Aneal: Candid, I like it.

Katie shrugs once more.

Katie: Honestly, at this point I might as well be honest about my feelings, it's all I have. It's either me or her, I'll tell you that right now. She'll work harder than you'll believe to make sure I'm gone next. I know her tricks, and with me gone she can manipulate all the boys.

Aneal: So, it's safe to say you two don't get along?

Katie sticks her tongue out of the corner of her mouth, a small quirk of hers, as she giggles.

Katie: Oil and water, my friend.

Maldiveskaitlynn There is animosity between Natalie and I, but we've never completely directly addressed it. I just know the game Natalie's playing, she's predictable and that'll be her downfall. I'll do the exact same thing she is, and put emphasis on our strained relationship. This way the boys will know I'm free to scoop up for themselves.
KATIE

Katie: (talking with her hands) I'll just state the obvious and put it out there right now, Natalie and I will never be friends. Like, don't worry about us teaming up and rallying against the boys, we wont. I'm letting it known to you now, if you want my vote you can have it. I'm completely willing to turn against the former members of Alifu and join any alliances you might have. Aside from Dorothy, a majority of Alifu was against me anyways.

Maldiveskaitlynn Throwing my old tribe completely under the bus might make me look sketchy as (bleep), but it could also show Aneal that I'm here to play ball with him. This game is about risks, and playing too leisurely has put me at the bottom of the group.
KATIE

Maldivesaneal Hearing the relationship between Natalie and Katie does make my heart sink because that puts a huge damper on the plans I just discussed with Tony. However, if what Katie is telling me is true, I could still find myself in a pretty good spot.
ANEAL

Dhaalu[]

In a single file line, the six tribe members of the newly formed Dhaalu tribe walk up the beach toward their camp, Jillian leading the group. She drops her back onto the ground as she looks around her new home.

Jillian (impressed): (Clapping hands while nodding, beginning to smile) Impressive, fellas!

Maldivesjillian Let me get one thing straight, okay? Our hold camp was (bleep), make no mistake about it! So arriving on the Dhaalu beach I felt as though I was a princess, returning to her empire. It's a five-star luxury place we're staying at, in comparison.
JILLIAN

Marcus immediately steps forward from the rest of the tribe, accepting the praise for his efforts.

Marcus (Nervous): (Nervous giggle), Thank you! We work hard around here to maintain our camp life, so as long as you can pull your own weight I'm sure we can make one kick-ass tribe!

Nick can be seen holding back a smirk in the background.

Maldivesnick (Unsure but humored) Jill walks in and compliments our camp and Marcus took it upon himself to thank and take credit for the efforts we all put in, okay... But he basically told them to make sure they pull their own wait or else they'll be in trouble. Like? (Looks around looking clueless, then giggles) Okay, Marcus, way to be a (bleep). But he said it in a total thankful, appreciateive way because he was accepting it and? (Shrugs then giggles) It was just a weird situation.
NICK

A reaction shot of Pasha is shown as she smiles.

Maldivespasha These men expect you to work hard, and I think that's brilliant! However I do worry for my girl, Jillian. She got away with doing absolutely nothing just because she was Queen Bee of the girls. Sorry to cut it to you, girlfriend. The only thing being head bitch will get you over here is voted out.
PASHA

As everyone settles into camp, Dorothy sets her bag of belongings down beside the side of a tree stump. She brushes off her cardigan and then sits down.

Maldivesdorothy It's three guys against three girls. It'll be interesting to see if Jill and Pasha, who're both against me in this game, will approach me to talk in order to avoid me from siding with the boys. It's an all new game, and already things are going more in my favor.
DOROTHY

The tribe gathers into a circle in the center of camp, all talking and getting to know one another. A close up shot of Dorothy is shown as she runs her fingers through her hair while laughing.

Fabian (curious): So what was the other camp like?

Jillian: (Cackles) It's awful! We're already so better off.

Pasha nods her head in agreement.

Pasha: Yeah. In all honesty it didn't seem all that bad until I got here and saw how you guys had been living.

Maldivesjillian I don't feel the best about where I stand within my new tribe, which is nerve wracking. I lost Natalie, my closest ally, but I'm still with Pasha, who was willing to draw rocks for me at the last tribal council, so I'm happy about that. I know I can trust her.
JILLIAN

A transition shot is shown of a lizard scurrying up the side of a tree.

Nick and Marcus are in the jungle, talking in private.

Marcus (whispering):

Nick clenches his jaw while he thinks, staring off into the distance.

Nick (whispering): Well,... I think that.. we need to wait. Lets let the girls make the first move, lets see what they do. Depending on that we can either get rid of a girl to break up anything that may need to be taken care of, or keep the tribe strong and vote out Fabian.

Marcus (whispering): Yeah, I'd hate to admit it because I love the brother, but Fabian is weighing this tribe down. If the girls are contributing, I'd have no probably getting rid of an original Dhaalu member.

Nick: (Chuckles) I hope you mean that original Dhaalu member, because aside from you I'm the only other one, and I know you're not writing your own name down.

Marcus: (Smirks) Right, (chuckles) I have no probablem writing his name down.

Maldivesmarcus Before the tribal swap Tony and myself discussed plans of turning on Nick, Dev, and Justin. However with the new tribes, Nick's the only person here I feel somewhat secure with. Tony's not with me, so I'm making the executive decision to bail on the plan. I hope when we merge he doesn't hold a grudge against me for not following through.
MARCUS

Back at camp Dorothy sits in front of a boiling pot of rice, stirring it with a twig. Meanwhile Pasha sits silently next to her while Jillian lounges inside of the shelter. Pasha glances over toward Jillian, who's laying on her stomach and facing the opening of the shelter, who then motions with the nod of her head to Pasha to engage Dorothy in conversation. With a small nod, Pasha turns her attention to Dorothy.

Pasha (whispering): (Leans in closer to Dorothy) So, would you consider sticking with the girls?

Dorothy's posture immediately stiffens as she sits up straight, intrigued by the question.

Pasha (whispering): The girls are already at a numbers disadvantage, but it's even on our tribe. If we don't stick together through these next few rounds of the game, no female will win this season.

Dorothy looks over her shoulder toward Jillian, who's staring wide-eyed as she listens intently to the conversation. Dorothy then turns her attention back to Pasha.

Dorothy (unsure): I mean, ...I don't know. It makes sense, but if I was to work with you two I'd always feel like I was at the bottom. You two left me out of your alliance on Alify, and now you want me just because of convenience and not because you actually want me as an ally. It's hard for me.

Pasha (understanding): I know what you're saying, and I totally get it. But here's the thing, that was on Alifu. The old Alifu is no more, we're talking about Dhaalu now. We all have to forget the former dynamics of the game and adapt accordingly if we want to survive. Take my hand, and you'll be my main Amiga along with Jill.

Unsure, Dorothy looks back over toward Jillian, who's nodding her head along to what Pasha's saying.

Dorothy (nervous): ...And you're not just using me, right?

Jillian: No way.

Pasha: If I know Natalie and Katie, they're forming completely new strategies around their new tribes. We need to morph to our surroundings, not just count on our old ones and hope those ties are still there if we make the merge. I'm not dumb, I fully know Natalie's over on Alifu making completely new, conflicting alliances. It's part of the game, I need you more right now than what I need Natalie. As of right now, I'm telling you I'd sooner write Natalie's name down than yours, sincerely.

The camera shows a close up of Dorothy, who's clearly deep in thought.

Maldivesdorothy It's risky business dealing with anyone close to Jill. Pasha's like a used car saleswoman, she knows exactly what to say and when to say it in order to make something sound good. Honestly, right now what other chance do I have? The girls offer me a decent shot at a comeback in this game while the guys can only offer me safety until Jillian and Pasha are gone. To me, it's clear that I need to take a leap of faith in the ladies.
DOROTHY

Maldivespasha Everything I'm saying to Dorothy is completely and utterly true. I don't know if it is for Jillian, but for myself, yes it is. I'm not going to stay stagnant because I have allies on the other tribe, that's how I'll get voted out. I'm here to play, and I can't play a game if all my pieces are on the other tribe. I need new allies, and that's where Dorothy comes in.
PASHA

Dorothy (quietly): I mean, what other chance do I have?

Pasha: You don't, none of us do. If we don't make a stand against the men, then we're going to be picked off one by one.

Dorothy then looks to Jillian.

Dorothy: And you, you swear you'll stay loyal to me too?

Jillian: I swear, one hundred percent.

Dorothy nods her head.

Dorothy: Okay, I'll do it.

Day 12[]

Immunity Challenge[]

Challenge: Temple of Syrinx
Each tribe will race through a series of obstacles to get to the top of a giant tower. First both tribes will crawl under an obstacle. They will then work together to retrieve three bags, which contain pieces they will need to get to the top. For the first wall of the tower they will use a rope to get over it. For the second wall they will use pegs. For the third and final wall they will have only each other to help climb it. Once the entire tribe is at the top of the tower, four people from each tribe will solve a puzzle. The first tribe to finish wins immunity.

Challenge Highlights:

  • (Dhaalu) Fabian and Jillian both struggled with the puzzle, causing their loss.

Dhaalu[]

It's a cool, breezy, cloudy day. The gusts coming in from off of the open ocean cause the waves to violently crash against the shoreline, rocking the anchored down Dhaalu raft just off shore. The defeated tribe returns to camp, and immediately Nick begins to stoke the struggling fire. Dorothy pulls her bag of belongings down, which had been hanging on one of the posts supporting the shelter, and digs through its contents while looking for her sweater.

Inside the shelter, both Pasha and Jillian are huddled next to one another in the fetal position, attempting to keep warm. Jillian has both of her knees stuck inside of her thin t-shirt.

Jillian: It's so cold!

Pasha remains silent, shaking.

Fabian stands over Nick, watching, with his arms crossed and muscles tight.

Fabian (jittery): Brutal...

Maldivesfabian The elements out here are harsh. Being stranded on an island in the middle of the ocean, it comes as no surprise how quickly the weather changes. It's a great way to weed out the boys from the men, it'll break down the weak links quickly. I can already see Jill breaking, and with tribal council approaching I don't think that bodes well for her.
FABIAN

Jillian, who's teeth are chattering, rests her head upon Pasha's shoulder. Pasha continues staring straight forward.

Maldivespasha I don't think anyone really appreciated listening to what Jill had to say. We're all cold, so we don't want to hear it. I'd hate to say it, but she's not enduring this game as well as the rest of us and I'm a little worried the boys might target her tonight.
PASHA

A timelapse is shown of out over the open ocean, the clouds in the sky dance past, eventually leading to rainfall.

The scene cuts to an establishing shot of four canteens sitting out in front of the shelter on the ground, all open collecting the fresh rain water. Then the focus shifts into the shelter, where the six members of Dhaalu all sit inside, cramped, trying to stay dry and warm.

Jillian, who's soaked by this point, looks up to the ceiling, only to gave a drop of water drop into her face. The storm has perfectly shown the true faults in what was once looked at as a glorified shelter.

Jillian begins to grow emotional, however with all the rain water dripping off of their faces it's hard for anyone to notice. With a few sniffles, Pasha looks over to Jillian to realize she had been crying. Jill wipes away a tear from her cheek as Pasha rests her hand on top of Jillian's bare, wrinkled foot. Jillian looks to Pasha, who shares a friendly supportive smile in return.

Maldivespasha I just wanted to whisper through my teeth to her to suck it up. This weather is putting a halt onto the strategizing, so openly showing weakness is just painting an even bigger target onto her back. Just please lord, let this girl pull herself together. I need her.
PASHA

In the back of the shelter Nick pats the side of Marcus' thigh with the back of his hand, gaining his attention. With nothing more than a look to one another, both men silently exit the shelter as the others watch.

With their hoods up, both men walk through the jungle. The tall trees provide somewhat of a canopy from the rain.

Nick: So what are you thinking of for tonight?

Marcus: I don't know, man. It's a toss up for me, it really is. On one hand we have Jillian who's unbearable at best, and on the other we have Fabian who's the weakest competitor left in this game.

Nick hesitates.

Nick: Right now I think we have to go about this strategically, lets pretend former tribal lines are still in place. Lets carry around the extra two hundred pounds a few more days and cut blondie, we need to maintain the numbers over the women.

Maldivesnick None of the girls have approached me about any sort of deal, which worries me. I need to strike against them before they do to me, and ensure I stay in the majority. Right now Jill's a sitting duck, I couldn't have made her an easier target if I tried.
NICK

Marcus shakes his head doubtfully.

Marcus (unsure): ... I don't know, man. Fabian's a huge liability. Lets just vote him out and hope for the best, without dragging his fat ass around we might actually be able to win the next challenge.

Nick: But if we kept Jillian and went on to lose the next challenge, the girls would have the votes to kick one of us off.

Maldivesmarcus Right now Nick's worried about a potential girls alliance and how they could dominate if we were to oust Fabian. I think we need to worry about strength, if we have a strong tribe we don't have to worry about going back to tribal council! With the amount of people left the merge is only days away, so it's time to plan ahead for that.
MARCUS

Marcus takes a few steps ahead of Nick, then stands in front of him and begins to walk backwards. This allows the two men to talk face-to-face.

Marcus: But dude, voting Jill out comes with it's own complications. (Using his fingers) It's three guys and three girls, that scenario could very well end in drawing rocks. Lets end this cleanly, vote out Fabian, and ensure that we're both here tomorrow.

Nick remains silent, shaking his head.

Nick: I don't know, my gut tells me that, that's not a good idea.

Maldivesmarcus This vote is simple, it's either Jillian or Fabian. One of those two will not be here in the morning, and it all depends on Nick. I need to make him see that strength is the most important thing moving forward, not necessarily numbers.
MARCUS

The scene cuts to the six members of Dhaalu walking away from camp and down the beach toward tribal council, each castaway with their hood up for protection from the rain and carrying their torch.

Tribal Council[]

Filing into tribal council, the members of Dhaalu all set their torches into place and take their assigned seats. Jeff asks about the way the tribe switch has changed the game, particularly with the matching numbers between the former tribes. Nick tells that it's added a new level of stress to the competition, particularly because he hasn't been approached by any of the former members of Alifu. Jillian smirks. When asked if he feels as though that means he's in danger, Nick shrugs and says that he's unsure. Jeff then turns his attention to Pasha, asking her what it means for Nick that he hasn't been approached. "I guess the same thing it does for me", Pasha responds, sharing that she hasn't been approached by any of the men. Jillian nods, adding that she finds it interesting Nick would mention such a thing when he hadn't made an effort to talk to them either. A shot focusing on Nick his shown as he chews on the inside of his cheek.

Shifting to Dorothy, Jeff asks what the switch even means and if it changes anything. "It changes everything", Dorothy shares. She remains honest, sharing her former position at the bottom of the Alifu tribe, which peaks Nick's interests, and that she doesn't necessarily feel so in danger any more. Both Pasha and Jill nod along. "It's honestly like day one all over again, if you find yourself on the bottom it's because you weren't treating it like day one. Just because you were secure on your old tribe doesn't mean you are now.", Pasha adds. Nick looks over to Marcus, who looks back. 'They're together, I'm telling you', Nick mouths. Marcus nods, absorbing what Nick has to say, then shifts his gaze forward to Jeff.

It is then time to vote and Nick is sent to the voting urn.

I honestly even question if this vote will make a difference tonight but my gut tells me that you need to go, so I'm going to listen to my instincts.

–Nick (voting for Jillian)

Pasha, Marcus, Fabian, and Dorothy are all shown in montage walking up to the voting booth.

Jillian is the last person of the evening to vote.

You're not strong enough, sorry. We need to win challenges.

–Jillian (voting for Fabian)

"I'll go tally the votes..."

Jeff walks away momentarily before reappearing.

"Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately, I'll read the votes."

Nick is shown fidgeting nervously in his chair.

Jeff takes the cover off of the voting urn, and pulls out the first paper ballot.

A close up is shown of Jillian, then Marcus, and finally ending with one of Fabian.

"First vote,"

...

...

Jillian sucks her lips into her mouth in anticipation.

Jillian

Jillian tilts her head to the side, looking annoyed. Pasha looks to the ground with a heavy exhale as she runs her fingers along her forehead.

...

...

Fabian

Fabian nods his head. Although he doesn't feel endangered, he expected to be used as the scapegoat.

...

...

Jeff reaches into the voting urn and pulls out the next ballot.

"Next vote,"

Fabian

Fabian scrunches his brow as Jillian glares down the group, attempting to gage peoples reactions. Pasha notices the look of terror in Jillian's eyes, and reaches out to hold her hand.

...

...

...

...

Fabian

The camera focuses onto Nick, who is shaking his head in frustration.

Fabian watches on as Jeff grabs the next vote, fear slowly filling his eyes. Marcus smirks.

...

...

...

"Fifth person voted out of Survivor Maldives,"

Fabian

"That's four, that's enough. I'll need you to bring me your torch."

Jillian buries her face into the palms of her hands, releasing a huge sigh of relief. Pasha immediately hugs her from the side, trying to hide her smile as she hides her face in Jillian's shirt. Marcus looks over to Nick, who's glaring back at him, pissed. Marcus looks away.

'Wow', mouths Fabian, clearly more than a little surprised by the vote.

Fabian stands, and without any words for his tribe mates grabs his torch and walks it over toward Jeff Probst.

"Fabian, your tribe has spoken. It's time for you to go."

Fabian stares at his flame as it is snuffed, then goes to walk away. However before disappearing forever, he turns around to face his tribe one last time.

Fabian (insincerely): Good luck, guys.

And with that, Fabian disappears into the night.

Jeff Probst: Well if anything's certain after tonight, it's that you should never feel too safe. Grab your torches, head on back to camp.
