Challenges[]

Since this episode only covers Night 38 and Day 39, there are no challenges in this episode.

Story[]

Night 38[]

The final three castaways return to camp after voting out Budd. Beatrix, Lana and Cataleya hug each other out of sheer joy. As the Bea and Lana prepare to sleep, Cataleya compares herself to her opponents, saying she would be accused for being a coattail rider or be ignored entirely.

Day 39[]

The final three are elated to see their Tree Mail stocked with their Day 39 breakfast basket, which contains pancake batter, milk, eggs, bread, wine, bacon, steak, chicken, sausages and fruits. Cataleya opens up a topic regarding everyone's chances of winning. Beatrix admits she will have a hard time getting Rosita and possibly, Budd's vote, and she is very sure Elle will just use her jury speech to express her hate towards her. Lana says she would struggle convincing her American male tribemates to vote for her. Cataleya thinks she has no shot as the two called the shots, while she remained in the background the whole time. Lana cheers her up, telling her that flying under the radar worked for some people, and since she has less blood in her hands, she definitely has a shot at winning.

Going up against Lana and Beatrix will surely be a struggle for me, but I hope I pull off a Sandra and make a convinving closing argument to win it.

–Cataleya

The three girls enjoy their final moments on the island, as they head to Tribal Council one last time.

The final three is welcomed by Jeff Probst to their Final Tribal Council. The jury enters, now complete with Budd as its last member. Beatrix, Lana and Cataleya then deliver their opening statements:

I came to this game willing to assume a "villain" role, because if I thought I would be skating on thin ice if I fly under the radar, given that these players are getting easily caught over the years. I made up an alliance with Budd, Lawrence, Rosita and Vernita. At first we were in the minority, thanks to Elle, who used the Hidden Immunity Idol. I found cracks in her alliance, convincing Elle to turn on her ally Jorge. That paved the way to my strategic game. Luckily I was able to bring Lawrence back after a small fight with him, and we managed to blindside Tommy. I knew my job was far from over, especially after the swap, so I made a new alliance with Lana and Cataleya. I tried to remain loyal to everyone in my alliance, until Rosita was plotting against Lana. In my head, I was thinking, I cannot afford to have my alliance turn on each other, so I had to do the best possible move for me which was to vote Rosita out. I was traumatized to a point where I fainted immediately after she walked out of Tribal. The day after that, I realized I have to pick up the pieces and continue playing. I admit I didn't become the strategist that I wanted to be but I think the summary of my gameplay is more of resilience more than strategy overkill. I hope you won't base your vote just on my unethical actions in the game, but I will be willing to accept any negative comments from everyone, especially from you, Rosita. Thank you.

–Beatrix

Hello guys. I must say, I admit I didn't treat you guys as respectfully as I should, and I would understand if you wouldn't vote for me tonight. I had to put up a face to show my toughness, especially when my back and cat's back were against the wall from Day 1, after trying to hide the clue from you guys. I manage to put a bug on Cap's ear, voting Moira and Wyatt before us. An opening came in when Beatrix went to Habagat. I siezed the opportunity and ran the game with her. I could've sided with the Americans when we merged, but when I realized Cap will just take me and Cat like puppy dogs in the end, I had to at least earn my spot here. I had to make it here at my own expense. I'm proud on how I played this game, and how deep I've dug in these past 39 days. I hope you give me a chance and vote for me tonight.

–Lana

Those two speeches are quite hard to follow through, given my situation. I know most of you will not even remember me, aside from the fact that I was under Lana's wing. With people like Cap and Elle around, I decided to back off and size up my competition, and I told myself, I won't last long if I join in the mudslinging of the people with big egos. I pulled myself aside and let them take out each other before I swoop in for the kill. I never had immunity around my neck, and I never really planned any blindside, but that's the beauty of my game play. I did not hurt anyone's feelings along the way. If at all, I didn't have much blood as much as Bea or Lana. I feel like I played the best social game among us three because I gave time to sincerely get to know everyone, and not just play the game for the sake of it. I just wish you overlook my passivity and take this as a positive instead. Thanks.

–Cataleya

Budd[]

Budd starts the jury Q&A.

Quote1First off, congratulations to you three. I have no hard feelings toward Lana or Cataleya, but I have issues towards Beatrix, so my question is to her and to her only. Just to tell you Bea, I was crushed last night. CRUSHED. I came in this game without planning to tell anyone my past. My dark past. But in this game, I decided to tell someone about it to gain her trust. Beatrix, you are the only person in this game who knew about it. That goes to show the amount of loyalty I gave you was the most I ever gave to anyone in this game. My question to you is that, why didn't you enforce a tie? Do you think I can beat you? Do you think I'll just vote for you anyway?Quote2- Budd
Quote1In complete honesty Budd, I knew you are so liked by everyone in the jury. As much as I would like to take you to the end, you would win.Quote2- Beatrix
Quote1Why did you promise to vote with me, then?Quote2- Budd
Quote1Because at the time, I really was planning to vote with you, but at the voting booth, I felt this urge to take you out because had you sit here with these two, I'd vote for you.Quote2- Beatrix
Quote1Very well. Fair enough.Quote2- Budd

Dominic[]

Quote1If there is a will, there is a way; and if there is no will, there are excuses. Lana, Cataleya, I have no words for the two of you, as you are the two meanest people I ever met in my entire life, and there is a high chance I won't be voting for any of you two. Beatrix, my energies are all on you tonight. You could've chosen Budd to go to the end with you or if at all, enforce a tie, and you even said it yourself you want an International to win this, but you turned back on your word. What was your thought process?Quote2- Dominic
Quote1Okay. So, I had the full intention in enforcing a tie last night, it's the truth. You can watch this back home to prove my point. I was ready to suffer the consequences at the time, and I would've been super happy for Budd if he wins. Also, had the final three became me, him and Lana, I thought, hmm, at least I only need to deal with him because I expected that Lana will be ignored by you guys. But I reminded myself that I am not playing for second place, I came here to win.Quote2- Beatrix

Jordan[]

Quote1What attributes do you have, perhaps demeanor, body of work in this game, like strategy, moves you made, challenge performance et cetera, that could win you this game, and on the flip side, what are the attributes that you have that will make you not win the game?Quote2- Jordan
Quote1Okay. Great question, by the way. So, positives. I think I am highly resourceful and resilient. I passed out the minute I blindsided Rosita. I went back to camp crying all night. I woke up the next day and said, I have to deal with Rosita later, and deal with her when I come to it. I didn't make it to the end at the expense of others. I am a workforce at camp, and I must say I am a decent challenge performer. As for negatives, you can say I tend to be overbearing at times, like before Tommy was voted out, I went out at Lawrence for breaking a pot, and I definitely think me blindsiding Rosita could be taken against me.Quote2- Beatrix
Quote1Lana?Quote2- Jordan
Quote1I wasn't taken seriously the first half of the game so I exploited that to get further. I constantly put bugs on Cap's ear about voting his allies first before me. The thing that can be my downfall in the game is that, I was too acerbic and rude at times. I remember when I voted Charlie out, I said "You're going home, hear me? Wait, you can't!" You see, I had to put up a face all the time to hide my insecurities *sobs*, but in truth I am really not a mean person. If you get to know me, I'm not like this.Quote2- Lana
Quote1It's okay, Lana. Cat?Quote2- Jordan
Quote1So, The thing that can work for me would be the same answer by Lana. Having too many huge personalities in the American tribe, I had to step aside and let them take each other out. I flew under the radar and clearly, it worked for me. In this game, you have to make a strategy that works for you. I am not athlete. But I see the game in a larger perspective, that in the grand scheme of the game, challenges are really just trivial compared to human interaction. What can work against me is that, I perhaps I played too passive.Quote2- Cataleya
Quote1Awesome answers. Let me just say that, while I am not American, it doesn't mean that I am writing Bea's name at the booth. My vote's still out there. Thank you guys.Quote2- Jordan

Cap[]

Quote1Lana, following Jordan's speech, I want to ask you, do you think you weren't taken seriously? If that's the case, I would not have aligned with you in the first place. I knew you'd stick around because you and Cat are frail and would suck at challenges.Quote2- Cap
Quote1First off, I am not the weakling you think I am. I won a challenge, for crying out loud. I wasn't taken seriously because of one mistake that that I did with the idol clue. Everyone was pretty much butthurt by it, and hadn't gotten over it. I tried to make eace with you and re-estalish that trust. Sure, I made a mistake, but I shouldn't be judged by that one mistake only.Quote2- Lana

Simon[]

Quote1I am pretty much passionate about taking the Americans to the end. While I still am, there are two Americans sitting beside you Beatrix, who unfornately I don't like. Convince me to leave that train of thought and vote for you tonight.Quote2- Simon
Quote1I think you should vote for me is that, I actively shaped my fate in this game, and I am willing to take responsbility for everything I did along the way. These two were neither here or there compared to me. Okay, I will give you, Lana and Cataleya a chance to convince me to still vote for you. Cataleya, what do you see in Lana that I don't, and Lana, what do you see in Cat that I don't?Quote2- Simon
Quote1It's too bad I get to be defined by me being aligned with Lana. I hope you see me as me and not just Lana's puppy dog. Anyways, I know Lana can sometimes be mean, and she has gossiped pretty much all of you, but...Quote2- Cataleya
Quote1Whooah, wait just a darn minute, you're throwing me under the bus now? For real? You think you're clean? Will you stop schmoozing?! Wow.Quote2- Lana
Quote1All I am saying is that I want to be asked by the jury for me, not just being lumped with you. Tonight, there are no alliances here. You're on your own.Quote2- Cataleya
Quote1Fine.Quote2- Lana
Quote1Same question, Lana.Quote2- Simon
Quote1I really have nothing good to say about her. She rode coattails, and now she's making herself more of a saint then make me look like a bitch.Quote2- Lana
Quote1'Kay.Quote2- Simon

Lawrence[]

Quote1This season focused on the fact that we started with two tribes, based from citizenship. Beatrix, do you think citizenship matters in winning this game? I am just curious if you think that, since there are five Internationals in the jury, uhm, if you're using it as an advantage. So, should I vote for you because you are the only non-American to be here in the end?Quote2- Lawrence
Quote1Personally, I think citizenship is irrelevant, and if I lose because of that only, I would find it unfair because I played this game hard, though I have to expect that variable being relevant, to be honest. But it's my strategy that should be the basis of your votes. I am not just campaigning for the Internationals to vote for me, but the Americans too. We Internationals entered the game with the Americans on equal terms and it shouldn't be a problem.Quote2- Beatrix

Elle[]

Quote1Hey guys. First off, Beatrix, you might think that I hate your guts. I don't, and I am proud that a Canadian is represented. Okay, and the question is, before this game, you probably wanted to assume a role; a role you want to portray for the duration of this game. What's that role you wanted to play, and were you able to be portray that role, or did you assume a different one?Quote2- Elle
Quote1I am actually surprised that you're not bashing me. Okay so, I wanted to be the strategy overkiller, and perhaps I fulfilled that role.Quote2- Beatrix
Quote1I wanted to be the strategic mastermind too, but I guess I turned into the bitch nobody likes.Quote2- Lana
Quote1As for me, I knew I will be the floater, under the radar player. Like, I don't have the athletic ability, so I let the athletes vote each other out.Quote2- Cataleya
Quote1I love your answers. Thanks.Quote2- Elle

Rosita[]

Rosita closes Final Tribal, and she unleashes hell for Beatrix.

Beatrix, if it's a game for the fakest person out here? BRAVO. First off, I would to say that I will vote for you tonight solely because of the game you played. You are the biggest scum that I ever met in my entire life. I gave you my trust, I fell on a sword for you by giving you my idol. What did you do to me in return? When I already fell on that sword, you stuck a knife behind my back. I felt double killed. Look, again, I will vote for you, but I don't want to see you, hear form you, ever again.

–Rosita

Jeff Probst gives the jury a minute to think about their votes. After which, one by one, the jurors make their million dollar decisions.
