Antonio was one of twenty contestants on Survivor: Mongolia. He quickly became known as an asset in challenges as he won both immunity challenges before tribes were formed. On Day 5, he was placed on Manlai. There, he became an even bigger force in challenges when he led the yellow tribe to six wins in a row. While he mostly quiet during the game, Antonio decided that he trusted the rest of his tribe and opened up about his past drug abuse. Everyone accepted him for it but Melissa Edwards. She stated that his story made her feel slimy, much to the shock of the rest of the tribe. On Day 16, Manlai lost their first and only challenge and were absorbed by Noyon and Sevrei shortly thereafter. Antonio was picked to be on the Noyon tribe, joining fellow former Manlai members Heather Williams and Katie Maxwell. Antonio was able to survive Noyon's only Tribal Council after the swap and made the merge on Day 21. At the first Tribal Council of the merge, Antonio was targeted for being the aforementioned challenge threat that he was while at Manlai. Ultimately, the two swing votes, Cassie Abbott and Tony Alvarez, did not side with Antonio's alliance as he became the first member of the jury in a 6-4-1 vote. At the final Tribal Council, Antonio criticized Melissa for her narrow-mindedness and having a subpar social game. He voted for the eventual winner Jenn Klesko to be Sole Survivor.

- Antonio is responsible for the namesake of Arlal, his season's merged tribe. He correctly stated that the word meant 'journey' in Mongolian.
