This episode is titled "Basic Math".

Challenges

Reward Challenge

For the first individual reward challenge, the tribe was split into five groups of two by random, and were pitted against each other in an endurance challenge that relies on one another.
Andrew & Jonny

Cameron & Devan
Cassie & Paul
Jason & Mackenzie
Jessie & Malik

For the challenge, each team (while their wrists are tied together) must race to a checkpoint, while picking up bags on the way. Once you reach the platform with all ten bags, each player must open the bags and solve the puzzle. Once the puzzle is completed, it will reveal the coordinates of a key in the sand, much like in previous seasons, where you must reference the posts labeled N,S,E,W. Once you have retrieved your key from the sand, you must race back to the start, unlock the safe, and raise the colored flag. First team to raise wins reward.

Winner: Jessie & Malik
Reward: Pizza Dinner back at Camp

Immunity Challenge

For the first individual immunity challenge, each castaway must traverse through a maze, collecting flags, and bringing them back to their respective starting positions. They must then swim out to the ocean and step onto a platform, where they must memorize a set of 14 characters, represented by 5 different symbols. Once memorized, they must go to shore and rewrite it in order that it appeared. First castaway to do this wins immunity.

Winner: Andrew

Day Twenty-One

The Yaureibo tribe woke to a surprising visit from Jeff. He stated that they must travel to a nearby island, and gave them the map. As he left, the tribes wondered what it meant. Although nobody was sure, Andrew pulled Cameron aside to tell him that it was the merge. Cameron wasn't yet convinced but Andrew assured him, and that if he sticks with Andrew and his alliance, they can go final four. Cameron was in the middle of two alliances, but he wasn't worried because he was fairly sure it wouldn't be a merge. He was wrong. They arrived at the other beach to find the other Bieque members, and they all happily greeted each other, anticipating where Jeff could be. He showed up not too long after.

You have been out here for 21 days, and you have prevailed twist after twist. Well, it's time to switch things up again. Drop your buffs. You are now merged.

–Jeff Probst

As the remaining ten members were excited as ever about the merge, Jeff passed out fresh new green buffs, and left, but not until after he pointed out the natives approaching with a feast.

As the new tribe engulfed the food before them, they deemed it only necessary to name the new tribe after the three previous tribes, coining together a name everybody agreed upon. Baurimar would be their new tribe name, and the day was a bright glistening moment of hope for the ten remaining castaways who were fighting so hard to survive and ultimately outlast the others.

I'm not sure about other alliances, but we definitely have the majority. It's basic math. Now we just have to execute.

Day Twenty-Two

Day 22 was mainly a day of getting back into strategic gameplay. Malik and Cassie went over their options. They knew that they had four solid people, and they believed that the Cacimar alliance had four strong, which left Devan and Mackenzie. They weren't sure as to where the two bieque members fit, but were certain that they could force some sort of tie. This was until Jason went up to them and asked what they wanted to do. Confused, and shocked, they didn't trust Jason's word. Jason, who was being honest, didn't want to allign with the old members of Cacimar, for they shunned him away from the group and took out his only ally. He wanted to take out Cameron, because he told them that he was in with Andrew and Paul. Malik was absolutely shocked.

The information I am hearing is beyond attrocious. If Cameron is in an alliance with Andrew, what does that mean? I don't trust Jason, but I don't know what to think. I won't confront him just yet.

–Malik

Meanwhile, the Cacimar three of Andrew, Paul, and Jessie discussed whether they should trust Cameron with all their plans. They decided not to, because it would be better in case he did decide to flip.

Cameron, who was stuck in between two alliances, was having trouble gripping his decisions. He was sure he liked his new tribe more, and he liked the people he was with. But, he made an alliance with Malik and Cassie, and had no intentions of breaking it. He had done what he swore he would not do. He was going to have to lie to somebody.

This has got to be the one situation I did not want to be in. I don't know what to do. Today is so hectic, and I'm smack dab in the middle of it. I am not qute sure as to what I should do.

–Cameron

Mackenzie, who had no alliances, confronted Devan about whether or not they can work together. Devan agreed, hoping to gain more numbers on his own side. Mackenzie, however, did the same to Malik. She decided that she woould have two options, one with each tribe, just to position herself better.

I have to utilize all my available options, and if it means lying, I'm all for it. I have to create different paths for different outcomes, and I am trying to use both clearly defined alliances as stepping stones.

–Mackenzie

Day Twenty-Three

Refer to Immunity Challenge for Results and Info.

After the immunity challenge, tensions were high as nobody was sure as to what was going to happen. The Cacimar three considered trying to take out Jason, for he could be a swing vote that they went against them. Jason was trying to talk to Malik once again about getting rid of Cameron, who was not buying it. Cameron, who got wind of the information, begged the original Yaureibo members that they should eliminate Jason, for he is causing trouble, and lying. Jason wasn't lying, but Cameron didn't want them to know about it just yet.

I keep telling Malik about Cameron and how he is voting with Paul and Andrew tonight, but he seems to think Cameron is an integrity machine. He's freakin' human for christ sake, and he's not to be trusted. I hope they can see that I'm being truthful, but I don't know.

–Jason

Jason is stirring the pot, and he needs to go. I told both alliances to band together to get rid of a common enemy, so let's hope it goes smoothly.

–Cameron

Andrew and Paul were content, and, along with Jessie, relayed the message to Devan. Devan then told Mackenzie, who was fond of the plan. So they all went to tribal intent on voting out a common enemy, where Jason would be eliminated in a unanimous vote.
