So, I've been working on the first episode of my fanon Survivor: Baao Lake, and I've noticed that the confessionals for the Grey tribe, Hilaga, are incredibly hard to read with the black text. Can anyone help me?
What's on your mind?

General Discussion
Hey, it's my first logo that I've ever done. What do you think? I know it's not perfect, I'm still learning!

Tribe swaps have become a core mechanic of this game, and I wanted to do a little survey.
1. Do you like tribe swaps?
2. What’s the right amount of tribe swaps to have in a season? (Generally)
3. When you write a Fanon tribe swap, do you mix up the tribes randomly or do you purposefully put them a certain way, and why?
Oh god I just realized this is like a school assignment ?. Anyway, I just think this could spark a good discussion so why not?
I found myself recently realizing I personally enjoy writing and reading Pre-Merge portions over Post-Merge portions.
This is because I find the drama more dramatic, and the gameplay more fluid, as Post-Merge, it usually focuses on one singular alliance and the downfall of it, or it actually sticking together. Such a case is Survivor: Lombok - Fan Favourites, by Tanglefrost, where it was mainly the pregame vs the anti-pregame.
So I began to wonder, is my opinion somewhat normal? So which do you all prefer? Reading Pre-Merge or Post-Merge, and do you prefer writing Pre-Merge or Post-Merge?
So I'm kind of a quiet person on here, I don't leave that many comments on other peoples articles because I'm kind of socially awkward and overthink things especially when it comes to Text where I feel like the tone of a comment can be hard to decipher when I make a remark. I'm the type of person who is more comfortable talking than texting.
That said I do read a lot of Fanons and comments and I am interested in contributing to the Wiki in a constructive and fun way So I hope this helps some new writers learn something new while also giving veteran writers a chance to have some fun and explain how they made specific seasons or events from a season work. Originally I was just going to make a blog explaining how the finale of my first season worked, but I didn't think that warranted it's own blog since it was just me and decided to open up a forum for everyone to share some of their favorite moments, episode and eliminations to write and how they made it work.
I remember a while back someone asking the wiki in general what the best way to write a fanon was. I responded by saying I noticed three different distinct types of writing styles. Planners, who lay out their whole season start to finish before uploading them to the wiki. Improv Writers, who fly by the seat of their pants and write based on what they feel would happen in the moment. and Hybrid Writers who lay out a basic skeleton of the story, but then fill in the body of events as they see fit.
Of the three I'm definitely a Hybrid Writer I always know my boot order and who wins every challenge before I start, but I prefer to feel out the more personal scenes as I write. Sometimes I take in user feedback and change some scenes at camp or on Reward, but I never really budge on the boot order or challenge winners.
I do hope this does get some good feedback, because I am interested in some of the inner workings of how people like to write. Like I said I wrote out my whole thought process on the finale of Survivor: Comoros which I may upload later to show a more specific example of how I personally handle my seasons. I just hope you all find this as interesting as I do because I am legitimately interested in hearing more about how other writers came up with their favorite moments to write and I do think exploring this can be very helpful to all of us as writers.
This was just something I was curious about, but who plans on actually adopting the... less than great final four twist that was just used in this season?
I personally think it's completely shit and deters from what Survivor is meant to be, but I was curious if other people felt like using it.
I'm back! I feel like I have never felt any better, and while I am currently taking my anxiety/depression medication regularly, I decided to use my extra time to dust off my drafts for Hundred Islands and give fanon writing another go. I don't know if I'll be making another season in the future, but for now, I'm only focusing on just one.
I hope to hear from everyone again, and yes, I'm welcoming myself back to this wiki. lol jk
Survivor Cebu in the islands of the Philippines is the home to my next season for the second thirty-nine day adventure. While I am continuing to finish my Naviti, Fiji season I am thinking of twists for next season and have no clue what I want to do yet. Any original ideas that you want to see please comment!
Despite being a fan fiction site, Survivor Fanon Wiki assumes that its writers make stories that could mirror the real show. As such, as a writer, I make sure my fanons are close to riveting reality television. By no means I am saying my fanons are perfect, but I do research on strategies and possible relationships and other pertinent plotlines that might happen. We would want to prevent the basic and shallow, "Player A did so and so, while Player B blindsided so and so." There has to be a rich layer of plot to lead to those happenings, not just mention them.
Here are my resources. I'll put more in the future the moment I come across them.

In line with the current season Survivor: Second Chance, I am making my own returning player season, and I will need the help of the Survivor Fanon Wiki community to be able to create my cast of 20. A list of 40 former castaways from my fanon series is currently posted on the Survivor: Ranong page, and you must choose ten men and ten women to be part of the season.
In the case of Gilbert, Jayden and Miriam, all of whom are still on Survivor: The Caribbean, if one of them wins, that player would be automatically ineligible to compete in Ranong.

What are your thoughts on Cuba? Leave a comment!
Hey! I've updated a new season called Survivor: Portland Bight. I'm two episodes in. I thought if y'all wanted to read it and check it out or give me suggestions, you can do so. Here is the link: http://survivorfanon.wikia.com/wiki/Survivor:_Portland_Bight
Willing to start a Survivor wiki season with someone, already working on my own. Want to work with someone else for expierence, anyone interested?
Hi. I am currently fixated with my academic stuff so I apologize for not being able to update Cuba as quick as I should've. While Survivor: Unfinished Business is slated to be my tenth and final season, my creative juices is just itching to make an eleventh season.
My idea for season 11 will be a three tribe-season, and I am leaning towards having republicans vs democrats vs <something in between>. Being Filipino, I have literally zero idea what these US American political parties stand for. I am asking the American members of this community to give me your take on what makes a democrat a democrat and a republican a republican, their beliefs, what they agree and disagree on...and if there is such a thing in the middle of these two parties that is just as significant but not really given much attention (similar to the inclusion of "No Collar" in Worlds Apart). I could just google it and not bother asking, but since I have American friends here, I would like to hear their opinions.
More importantly, will you watch such a season if it becomes a thing in the real show? Consider me as a businessman doing an FGD. lol
