This is the thirteenth and final episode of Survivor: Senegal

Previously On Survivor...[]

Jeff: 36 days ago, 16 Americans were marooned in Senegal's Saloum delta. And now, after a tumultuous journey filled with blindsides,

(flashback) Jeff: Sidney, the tribe has spoken.
(flashback) Jeff: Eden, the tribe has spoken.

and betrayals,

(flashback) Edison: Next time you let someone drop to the bottom without telling them, make sure you keep it a secret. You were a little too obvious. I'm playing this for Marcos.
Jeff: Jonny, the tribe has spoken.
(flashback) Jeff: Nacasha, the tribe has spoken.
Nacasha: F*ck, you got me.

only four remain. YEVGENIA - this acid-tongued student has a fiery temper and an even fierier determination. She's made some big moves in the game,

(flashback) Yevgenia: I'm playing this idol for myself tonight.
(flashback) (voting confessional) Yevgenia: Tonight I'm voting for Nacasha. *winks*

but she's got people on her tail. Can she ride it out for the next two votes, or will her past finally catch up with her?

Oh people watching will probably call me a bitch, I fully get it, one hundred percent. People on the jury will definitely call me a bitch. But I've played this game, and I've played it hard, and if I make it to the end, I will make them see I deserve it.

–Yevgenia

ANTHONY - the line cook from Maryland has beasted through the challenges,

(flashback) Jeff: Anthony wins Immunity!
(flashback)
Jeff: Anthony wins Immunity!
(flashback)
Jeff: Anthony wins Immunity!
(flashback)
Jeff: Anthony wins Immunity!
(flashback)
Jeff: Anthony wins Immunity!

and despite early stumbles has managed to find himself in a dedicated pair with Elise. Will he add a six, seventh, and eighth win to his collection, or will his luck dry up?

I've done a lot. A lot. And I'm not done yet, no way. *chuckles* They better watch out, or they'll get smacked into tomorrow. Or out of the game. I've made it this far, and I'm pretty sure I've got gas in the tank to pull it out to the end.

–Anthony

ELISE - The defense attorney has been a silent force in the game, and has formed an alliance that, despite breaking up, has carried her straight to the final four.

(flashback) Marcos: Oh Elise whispers. That's what she does. That's her modus operandi. She's been whispering in everyone's ears since the merge and they've just been lapping it up.
(flashback) Elise: I mean, of course I don't make plans up as I go along. I absolutely would've gunned for Yev and Nikky after Edison and Marcos went home but I can't tell them that. I need to try to get them back on my side and justifying their fears won't help.

Can she weather it out until the end, and even then, will her stony exterior be something the jury is willing to overlook?

Some people came here for a vacation in paradise, and I came here to win instead. No one's dead and gone at this point, but there are couple throats I could slit to see myself at the end, and it's a matter of getting that opportunity to do so.

–Elise

and NIKKY - This Florida party-girl has treated the game for the most part with a laissez-faire attitude, but she has shown the ability to step up when she needs to.

(fllashback) Nikky: No. I'm not switching my vote. I've done whatever you wanted for the past who-knows-how-many-days! I stuck with you when you decided to vote out Nacasha even though she was my friend. I want to do something for myself for a change!
(flashback)Nikky: nce again, it looks like I'm the deciding vote. *sighs* I don't like this *chuckles nervously*. The power's in my hands and if I make the wrong move, 'whoopsy-daisy'. Everything is ruined.

Can she make it to the end to convince the jury she was not cruising through to the end, or will she finally lean back too far?

I might be young, but I take life by the horns and I treat Survivor in the same...aspect. I've been the dictating vote plenty of times whether people like it or not, and if I make it to the end, I'll be showing the jury that, believe me! *giggles*

–Nikky

Challenges[]

Day 37 Immunity Challenge: Same Chute As Always
Starting at the top of a large tower, castaways will roll a ball down a large chute, trying to get it to hit a target. Once the target is hit, it will drop a key. The castaways must then slide down a fireman's pole, retrieve the key and then unlock a chest, containing a lever. The castaways must then climb back up to the top of the tower and fit the lever into a specific hole, which will allow them to change the trajectory of the chute. They must then roll the balls down the chute until they hit the other four targets. When that happens, a flag will raise, declaring immunity.
Winner:

Day 38 Immunity Challenge: Fishing Boat Blues
The three remaining castaways will each stand on a canoe in the water with each leg balanced on the side. The castaways are not allowed to place their feet inside the boat, and if they do so, if any other body part besides their feet touches the canoe or if they fall, they are out of the competition. The last castaway standing wins.
Winner:

Story[]

Night 36[]

The four remaining return to the camp. Despite tensions riding high at tribal, the four are relatively calm, congratulating each other on making the final four.

I was on the wrong side of the vote tonight. I was so close to sending Elise home but Nikky changed her mind. I suppose I'm supposed to be mad but honestly I'm just tired. How many days left do we have? *laughs tiredly* Give me my million already.

–Yevgenia

Day 37[]

The next day, Nikky and Anthony head down to tree-mail to read about their challenge.

Quote1Can you believe we're almost done with this?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1*laughs* You say that like it's a bad thing.Quote2- Anthony
Quote1You don't think so?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1Nah, I'm ready to go home. See Khadijah again. Take a shower. *pauses* Don't take that as permission to vote me out though.Quote2- Anthony
Quote1*laughs* I didn't hear anything.Quote2- Nikky

Sometimes I question if I can really pull out two more wins. Two more wins and then I'll be in the final. It gets so tiring, but at the same time, it's only two! I can do this, I've done twice as many as that already.

–Anthony

The screen then transitions to the immunity challenge and the four castaways walking in and putting down their bags. Looking up, Nikky oohs and ahs at the tower which Jeff gives a smile. He then explains the rules followed by the castaways drawing for spots.

At Jeff's mark, the challenge starts and the four start rolling their balls down their chutes. Notably, Yevgenia gets down on her belly to further line up her ball. However, Elise is the first to hit her target and she starts down the fireman's pole. Soon after, Anthony hits his target and slides down the pole as well, quickly passing Elise who is having a hard time. Nikky and Yevgenia hit their target at the same time and start down the pole as well.

Anthony hits the bottom and grabs his key to start unlocking his chest, followed by Nikky and then Elise. Yevgenia grabs her key last, clearly frustrated as she yanks the key from the target.

After a time-lapse, Anthony, Nikky, Elise and Yevgenia are all at the top of their towers, fitting their levers into the hole before starting to maneuver their chutes and rolling balls. After a short time-lapse, Anthony hits his first target, followed by Elise and Nikky. He then hits his second target as Yevgenia hits her first, with Nikky hitting another right after. Anthony begins to roll his ball down the chute and starts to change the trajectory of his chute but he moves it too far over and it rolls out without hitting anything. Taking this opportunity Nikky goes for her target and after a pause in which the final four's faces are shown apprehensive, the camera shows the ball knocking the target over, winning Nikky immunity and putting an end to Anthony's winning streak. Calling Nikky over, Jeff puts the necklace around her neck as she celebrates. He then informs the other three that one of them will be voted out tonight, only two days away from the end.

Back at camp, Nikky high fives Yevgenia before going down to the river to wash up. While she's gone Yevgenia shakes her head slightly and mutters to herself.

I mean, I'm happy for Nikky, I really am. But with her winning immunity, both Anthony and Elise's votes will most likely fall on me causing a tie-breaker. And I guarantee you I am 100% not ready to make fire tonight.

–Yevgenia

Meanwhile, Elise and Anthony come to a similar conclusion in the shelter.

Quote1One of us is making fire tonight, right?Quote2- Anthony
Quote1Whoever Nikky and Yevgenia vote for.Quote2- Elise
Quote1*pauses* You know how to make fire?Quote2- Anthony
Quote1Not as well as I should.Quote2- Elise
Quote1*chuckles* Ditto.Quote2- Anthony

Elise is worrying about making fire but she really doesn't have anything to worry about. I'm almost certain the girls will be targeting me tonight, since I'm such a challenge threat. This ain't me bragging, its just fact. *spits on the ground* I'm nervous, for sure. But hey, this fire-making's just like a challenge, and if it's one thing I'm good at, it's challenges.

–Anthony

A little while later, Nikky and Yevgenia are down by the riverbank, Nikky helping Yevgenia try to make fire and giving her tips. Slowly but surely a small flame appears but is quickly snuffed out by the wind. Frustrated, Yevgenia kicks the ashes while Nikky tries to calm her down.

At this point, we should have the advantage. I've got immunity and so I can focus all my efforts on helping Yevgenia while the other two have to worry about themselves. But I don't know, Yevgenia's not really getting the hang of this. It worries me.

–Nikky

At camp, Anthony and Elise are also making fire taking turns passing the flint and sharing tips on how to get the best flame.

I like control. I like when there are as few random variables as possible. This tie-breaker, I don't have much control over it. I don't like that but no one's changing at this point.

–Elise

At one point, Elise is able to get a pretty massive blaze, which causes Anthony to shake his head and tell her he really hopes it's her the Sokone girls are voting for. Elise chuckles and says she'd prefer if they didn't.

As night slowly falls, the four remaining castaways gather up their torches and start to head out. The camera shows a quick shot of each of them, each with worried expressions except for Nikky, who is readjusting her immunity necklace around her neck. A voiceover occurs,

Everyone's in danger tonight except for me. It's definitely a relief, to be safe. I'm sitting pretty, ya know? On top. Looking down on everyone else.

–Nikky

Tribal Council[]

At tribal council, the camera focuses on the flames of the fire pit as the four dip their torches in. Once they get seated, the jury members shuffle in. Jonny, Dolores, Nacasha, Edison and Marcos all take their seats, the latter winking at Yevgenia before sitting down.

Jeff notes Anthony's winning streak is finally broken, causing Anthony to groan good-naturedly and thank Jeff for reminding him. Jeff asks Anthony if he thinks he's in danger tonight and Anthony nods before shrugging. He says that he definitely thinks there's a chance he's getting votes but he says the girls could easily target Elise, a strategic threat, as well. The camera quickly shows Elise's expression, clearly unhappy at being thrown under the bus.

Jeff then turns to Nikky and asks her, as the only person safe tonight, what she thinks is going to happen. She replies that everyone's figured tribal council is ending in a tie-breaker between Yevgenia and either Elise or Anthony. Yevgenia laughs and corroborates this, saying she's been practicing all afternoon. Jeff turns to Elise and Anthony and asks if they've been practicing as well to which both nod.

As a general question, Jeff asks if people are starting to break away from alliances and start thinking about who's best to take to the end and points out that due to the supposed deadlock, it would be a perfect time to do so. The camera focuses on Yevgenia, who gives a glare towards Nikky, and then to Anthony who looks plaintively at Elise. Elise nods at him and Jeff catches this and asks her what it was about. Elise shrugs and frustrated that he can't get an answer, Jeff starts the vote.

The first vote revealed, sure enough, is YEVGENIA, with Yevgenia nodding. The second vote is YEVGENIA while the third, ANTHONY, causes Anthony to nod while Elise visibly breathes a sigh of relief. The final vote, after a brief pause, is ANTHONY. Jeff asks the Nikky and Elise if either wants to change their vote but both shake their head, causing the game to move into a tiebreaker round.

After both Anthony and Yevgenia are set up, Jeff explains the rules and the two set off. Anthony's pile of tinder and kindling catches fire easily as Yevgenia stuggles to get a spark, but soon Anthony's fire dies down, reducing all of his tinder to ashes. As he hurries to get more, Yevgenia slowly stokes her flame, causing to get higher and higher. The camera flicks to Elise, who is watching stoically with no expression on her face, and Nikky who is peeking through splayed fingers. From the jury bench, Nacasha is seen clutching onto Dolores shoulder as they both intently watch the display. Finally Anthony is able to raise another flame, but it is dwarfed by Yevgenia's which is growing by the minute. From the jury bench Edison can be heard whispering to Marcos "It's over', but Anthony, who overhears him, shakes his head and says loudly "It's not over," as he adds more kindling. However, it is all for naught as Yevgenia's flame burns through her rope and raises her flag, a mere twenty minutes into the challenge.

Yevgenia and Anthony both stand up and hug before Anthony goes over to get his torch. On his way he is intercepted by both Nikky and Elise, causing him to laugh as they hug him. Finally, he brings his torch to Jeff, who snuffs it and allows him to walk away.

Day 38[]

The next day, the three women celebrate making it to the final challenge. They hug and cheer and Nikky does a cartwheel on the beach.

I freakin' made it! 38 days down, one to go! The best part is, I'm almost positive Yev will take me, meaning Elise just has to lose to ensure both me and Yev make the final two!

–Nikky

However, even though Yevgenia and Nikky are in high spirits, Elise is a little less enthused, staying quiet as she pokes at the fire.

My closest ally is gone and I know Yev and Nikky are almost guaranteed to take each other. So at this point, Plan A is to win immunity, and if that doesn't work, and I'm pretty sure it won't, Plan B is to convince one of the two to take me instead.

–Elise

The three then go to tree-mail where Yevgenia reads out the clue to the two other girls.

I'm so close I can taste it. Elise is garbage at challenges and I know if Nikky wins she'll take me. I've pretty much got in the basket. *mimes shooting a basketball into a hoop* Swish, swish, nothing but net.

–Yevgenia

At the final immunity challenge, Jeff greets the three remaining castaways and explains the rules. After all that is over, the three get positioned and balanced on their canoes before Jeff starts the clock. He notifies them that each boat has been weighted as to not give the lighter competitors an advantage and then wishes them good luck.

After a quick timelapse, a chevron in the corner notes that thirty minutes have passed. Elise has started to wobble and undergoes several particularly unsteady moments. Each time she sways the camera flashes to both Nikky and Yevgenia's expressions. Yevgenia is watching Elise like a hawk while Nikky's eyes are closed and her expression serene.

After forty-five minutes have gone by, Elise comes close to falling again but manages to catch herself. Jeff congratulates her on saving herself but she shakes her head and tells him no to congratulate her until she wins it.

After an hour has gone by, Jeff notes that the tide has started to come in and as a result the waves rocking the canoes have become more and more fierce. All three girls have started to sway and Nikky's serene expression has been replaced by a look of intense concentration.

At the hour and a half marker, the wind starts to pick up and both the gusts and the waves it created prove trouble for the three women. Yevgenia seems to have the hardest time, rocking back and forth wildly. Suddenly, as Yevgenia steadies herself, Elise slips and falls off her boat, eliminating her from the challenge. As she swims to shore with a peeved look on her face, Nikky and Yevgenia cheer together, with Yevgenia muttering that she could hug Nikky right now. As the two continue in the competition, both much more light-hearted now that Elise is eliminated, a conversation arises.

Quote1You want it?Quote2- Yevgenia
Quote1What?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1You want the immunity? You want me to jump down?Quote2- Yevgenia
Quote1No, don't jump. I want to do this-I want to do this by myself.Quote2- Nikky

Hearing this, Jeff jumps in and asks Nikky what she means. Nikky, previously stoic, bursts into tears.

Nikky: I just- I've spent this whole game hearing about how Yevgenia's the one that pulls all the strings and I'm just a vote. I just- *sniffs* - I just want to do something by myself for once. Prove to everyone I can, and winning the last two immunities all by myself would.

Yevgenia shrugs at this and continues balancing. From the beach, Elise yawns and leans back, evidently showing her opinion that it might be a while.

At the two hour and fifteen minute marker, Yevgenia's legs suddenly starts shaking and she leaps down quickly. Nikky follows her into the water and they swim to shore together before hugging on the beach. Nikky stands still as Jeff secures the final immunity around her neck and she giggles before Jeff sends them back to camp.

Back at camp, Nikky and Yevgenia celebrate by dancing around the fire while Elise watches.

Nikky and Yev are both very certain that they're gonna go to the final together but I'm not giving up just yet. I think I've got a pitch that might at the least make Nikky waver. Listen, at this point I'll do anything to just make it one more day. One more day that's all I need.

–Elise

Once the two younger women have settled down Elise asks to talk to Nikky alone. Yevgenia graciously gets up to go get water from the well and Nikky and Elise use that time to talk.

Quote1So congratulations on the immunity.Quote2- Elise
Quote1What do you want?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1To make my case of course. Listen, are you happy with second?Quote2- Elise
Quote1What? What do you mean?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1Because, and I don't want to be rude, but you're probably getting second to Yev if you take her. You said it yourself back at the challenge, everyone really sees you as Yev's puppet.Quote2- Elise
Quote1And I would win against you?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1I mean, Marcos called me a snake consistantly when he was still here. He's probably doing the same at Ponderosa. I'm just saying, you seem to be very into your appearance and it's true that's important to the jury. You know and I know that you will be seen as Yev's puppet especially if you take her. I'm just putting that out there.Quote2- Elise

She gets up and leaves Nikky to ponder.

Oh god, I've got a really hard decision, haven't I? It really sucks that I'll be personally responsible for ending one person's chances. I think at this point it comes down to who I think has more enemies on the jury. I might win if the whole jury hates the other person.

–Nikky

Nikky then goes and asks Yevgenia for her pitch.

Quote1Pitch?Quote2- Yevgenia
Quote1Yeah, like why should I take you to the end?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1Oh, yeah. Well, I mean we've been day ones out here. We've done everything together, Nikky. Seriously. We should finish it out. How great would it to say that we've gone the whole game together as a pair? Plus, Elise is a mental beast and she's a lawyer. You really want her facing the jury?Quote2- Yevgenia

As the sun sets, the three remaining women gather their torches and head out. The camera lingers on Nikky as her voiceover confessional plays;

It's all up in the air. I've got two cases pitched to me, and in the end I'm going to have to accept one of them. This isn't about who I want to see at the end with me, it's who I think I can beat, and who has the most enemies on the jury. And, let's be honest; both Yev and Elise have a lot of them.

–Nikky

Tribal Council[]

As the three enter tribal council and light their torches, Jeff brings in the jury. Anthony is the last to enter, winking at the girls before taking his seat besides Marcos. When everyone is settled, Jeff congratulates Nikky on her immunity win, with the seated jury bursting into applause. Nikky, blushing, thanks them. He then asks if the other two have been approaching her and Nikky laughs, confirming the fact. He then asks her what she's looking for when taking someone to the end.
Nikky: Honestly, someone who has enemies on the jury, someone who can't state their case as well to the jury, and someone who I look better sitting next to.
Jeff raises his eyebrows at this answer, exclaiming that it would almost be an insult to whoever she picks, but Yevgenia laughs, stating she wouldn't mind. Elise nods at this, smiling. Jeff then asks Yevgenia what she'd think if Nikky didn't chose her, and Yevgenia shrugs, saying that she'd understand and says that Nikky should do what she thinks is best for her. Hearing this, Nikky starts to tear up and leans over to give Yevgenia a hug. Jeff then turns to Elise, and asks if she is nervous sitting next to a strong duo. She remarks that at this point she can only hope that Nikky chooses her. Jeff questions Elise on if she thinks Nikky choosing her would be the right decision. Elise smiles, and says she thinks so. She points out game changing actions like Yevgenia's idol play or Nacasha's blindside. Yevgenia, red, points out that those same actions could've created enemies on the jury as well. Finally after a long debate Jeff asks Nikky to stand up and cast her vote. Nikky, clearly fearful, does so and walks shakily to the voting booth. She takes a long time but finally chooses a name. Her back to the camera, she says the final voting confessional of the season.
Nikky: I'm sorry. I really am.
As she sits back down again, Yevgenia reaches over and grasps her shoulder. Jeff, voting urn in hand reveals the final vote:

ELISE

At the same time, Yevgenia lets out a sigh of relief as Nikky bursts into tears. She reaches up and hugs Elise, who pats her on the back before retrieving her torch. She places it in front of Jeff and smiles as he snuffs it. Finally, she turns back to the two Sokone girls,
Elise: Good game.
before walking out.

Day 39[]

The next day, Nikky and Yevgenia wake up together, celebrating the fact that they made the end together. Walking to tree-mail, the two reminisce over their 39 days in Senegal

Quote1Remember when we were still aligned with Sidney? And he threw the flint in the river?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1What an idiot. He got what was coming to him.Quote2- Yevgenia
Quote1And when we blindsided Nacasha?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1I really hope she's not gonna be mad at us tonight for that.Quote2- Yevgenia
Quote1I mean, I hope she's gonna be mad - at you. *giggles*Quote2- Nikky

At tree-mail, the traditional day 39 feast is waiting for them; complete with eggs, bacon, pancake batter, fresh fruit and champagne. There also is a mirror waiting for them. The two girls hesitantly approach it, Yevgenia deciding to go first.
Yevgenia: Oh my gosh, look at me. My hair is a mess. And my skin - its so red and bitten. I really look like a mess don't I?

I really made it to Day 39 didn't I? Backstabbed a whole lot of people to get here, but I'm here. I do think I have a somewhat uphill battle tonight. I know strategically I've done more than Nikky but knowing the sort of people on the jury - Marcos, Nacasha - I'm really nervous that she might look like the more palatable option.

–Yevgenia

Next, Nikky steps in front of the mirror;
Nikky: Ahh! That's me? I'm so skinny! Where'd my butt go? And my chest? I look like a skeleton!

I don't think anyone would've place their bets on me. I wouldn't even have bet on me. I'm the bikini babe of the season. I'm the girl you vote out first because she's the weakest person at camp. Yet somehow I'm here on Day 39. I know Yevgenia's got the better chance going to into tribal, but I don't know. I've still got a couple tricks up my sleeve. You know what they say - never trust a girl with a big butt and smile *laughs*.

–Nikky

After they finish breakfast, they take down the camp, sorting through the clothing items the eliminees had left behind. Nikky finds Nacasha's abandoned sweater and tries it on while Yevgenia models Elise's blazer.

Quote1We should really throw these in the fire, huh? Finish out the season with a bang?Quote2- Yevgenia
Quote1Oh my gosh! That's so mean!Quote2- Nikky
Quote1I know.Quote2- Yevgenia

In the afternoon, the two suntan as they finish off the champagne.

Quote1Wouldn't it be funny? If we both came to final tribal buzzed?Quote2- Nikky
Quote1Oh, you're more than happy to. In fact I encourage it *laughs*.Quote2- Yevgenia

The one million would mean a lot to me. I'm currently finishing off my major in Anthropology, but I've got a whole world in front of me when I leave. To have that cash to start something - to fund studies, to buy a house. It would be so much more than just vanity money. I've wanted to go so many places and study the people there - China, Ukraine, Ecuador - that having the money to do so would be a dream come true. Plus the title of Sole Survivor? Not everyone can claim that. It'd be an honor, such an honor to receive the win. And I'm so close, I can taste it.

–Yevgenia

I'm currently working as a waitress in Tampa but I've never gone to college. Never afforded it. To win would mean a chance to go to college. I don't even know what to study, but I'll choose something. I'm a party girl, but I know I can't party forever. Everyone grows old. To have a next step in life would be huge for me.

–Nikky

Finally, the two pack up their bags for the last time, grab their torches and head to tribal council. Both have wide smiles on their face, knowing that they have survived their last day in Senegal.

Final Tribal Council[]

The two enter the longhouse and Jeff greets them. He brings in the jury one by one - Jonny, Dolores, Nacasha, Edison, Marcos, Anthony and Elise. Each take a seat and Jeff begins his spiel. He reminds everyone that this is Nikky and Yevgenia's last chance to plead their case and that at the end of the night the jury will vote to award one the title of sole survivor. Then, he has the first juror, Dolores step up.

Dolores[]

Dolores: Hi girls. I just want to say first off that it warmed my heart to see an all girl final three. But, I'll be honest in that if Elise was sitting up there tonight I'd vote for her over you. In fact, if Anthony was sitting up there I'd vote for him over you as well. You two played a dirty game, and I just want a justification from you on how I can vote for either of you to win the million and still have a clean conscious.

  • Yevgenia: I mean, the game of Survivor calls for such things. I know I've got a reputation of a "tough girl", but let me tell you honestly that voting each one of you out - except for maybe you Marcos, sorry - was painful. This is a game, yes, but it's also a very personal thing which I get. So, I mean, if not for having to do such things to get to the end, I'll have you know that I would never in real life choose to hurt any of you in real life in the way that you may have felt hurt during the game.
  • Nikky: I just want to apologize, first off, for anything I did to anyone here. Like, you all saw how I felt during tribal councils. I'm a weepy person and those tears weren't like, crocodile tears or anything. I've made connections with you guys, and I just want everyone to know how much I intend on keeping and repairing those connections.

Nacasha[]

Nacasha: I'm sure both of you saw this coming. Let's talk about my blindside. I just want to know, in both of your opinions, why I went out when I did. Because it hurt walking out of tribal with my whole alliance still in the game along with some of the opposing alliance. I'm willing to forgive you because this is a game, but I want to know why this was the best move for your game.

  • Nikky: I was the deciding vote. And I voted for you. I voted for you because Yevgenia was expecting my vote and because I trusted her more than I trusted you and Elise. If I had gone with you and broken Yevgenia's trust, I was breaking my strongest relationship in the game. I voted for you because you were a strong person and you had one of the best chances of winning and I knew that any day or time of the week Yevgenia was gonna be the person taking all the blame, so it was a safe vote for me.
  • Yevgenia: Because I had the chance to get you out. Marcos and Edison were desperate and taking any chance they got. I had the numbers to take you out that I wouldn't have had one of them gone that night instead. And, let's be honest - you were taking Elise further than you were taking either of us so it was only me taking the preemptive strike.

Edison[]

Edison: Hey guys, great game. My question is just for Yev. Yev- you had a bit of an attitude on the island here. You know you're sitting next to the most pleasant, optimistic person in the whole cast. I just want to know why you think, despite your attitude, you should be crowned Sole Survivor and if your attitude out here was really necessary to get to the end.

  • Yevgenia: *laughs* That's a little condescending don't you think? My attitude is my attitude and I'm sorry if it rubbed you the wrong way. I wasn't consciously trying to rub anyone the wrong way and because of that, I don't really think I have to apologize or justify anything. That's my answer.

Jonny[]

Jonny: What's up guys! I know you've had a lot of demeanor related questions so I'll throw you a softball. How will you remember these days in Senegal?

  • Nikky: Oh gosh, there's so much that happened. I loved my time on Sokone, loved when the merge hit and we were all together. i don't think I'll walk away from here having made a single enemy. I had such a good time- that was something I told myself before I came here; it doesn't matter whether I win or lose, it only matters if I had a good time and I had a hell of a good time. So I guess I should thank all of you for that. *grins*
  • Yevgenia: Uh yeah, I wanna echo Nikky said. You all, whether I got along with you or not, made this experience in Senegal one of a kind. I genuinely came into this game a little bit in gamebot mode. Just win, you know? But I found myself making genuine connections. Nacasha, even though I blindsided you I want to reiterate that it was just a game move and I loved the time we spent together. Elise, I mean I'm so glad Nikky voted you out because you would've beaten anyone sitting next to you. I'm also so glad we met each other. And Nikky, well, you're not on the jury but god-f*cking-damn I'm so happy I met you *starts tearing up*. I really am.

Marcos[]

Marcos: Now, I was really considering just using my time up here to chew Yevgenia out, but Edison already did that so I'm going to ask both of you a simple question: Why should we give the opposing player the money instead of you? (Both Yevgenia and Nikky look confused and Marcos laughs) You've both demonstrated in my opinion that you can explain your game pretty well, but I want to see if you can explain each other's. I want to see if you truly were two steps ahead of the game and knew what each other was doing.

  • Yevgenia: Interesting request. But, and this is me being honest, if you can't give the money to me because I hurt you somehow or you don't believe my game was clean enough, then Nikky is absolutely the person you should vote for. She's the nicest person I've ever met, she's got the heart of a goddess and when I was planning all of these dirty moves she was the voice in my ear reminding me of the consequences. She was the reigns holding me back whenever I wanted to go too hard.
  • Nikky: Oh god, Yevgenia is more than deserving. She was the one taking the lead whenever we made moves, she planned them out and she was the one who was willing to betray people, something I was never able to do. This is a game worth a million dollars, one where you have to lie and betray and cut people and that was something I was never able to do but she was. And she deserves the money for that.

Elise[]

Elise: To be real with you two, it still hasn't sunken in that I'm not still in the game. I'm still 100% in game-mode and my question hopefully will give me the last piece of information I need to make my decision because, and I'm being honest with both of you here, I'm still undecided. Yevgenia, I want to know who'd you vote for at the final tribal council had Nikky voted for you last tribal instead of me and Nikky, I want to know if you have any regrets following Yevgenia's lead for most of the game.

  • Yevgenia: I'd vote for you. I truly believe in this game and the strategic portion, and in the end while I love Nikky with all my heart, I'd give it to you. You deserve it more than anyone, I swear.
  • Nikky: No regrets. None what-so-ever. I trusted Yev one hundred percent and following her lead me to the end. Am I still proud of my game, yes. I am so proud. I made it to the end and I believe I made enough relationships to get the votes. So, to reiterate once more (*giggles*) No regrets.

Elise: Thanks guys. Best of luck to both of you.

Anthony[]

Anthony: Wow last to go, no pressure to close things out (*laughs*). My question is for the both of you, and this is just a thought I had, I promise I'm not being self-centered. Let's say I made it to the end, I continued on my immunity run. Did I have a chance of winning sitting next to either of you?

  • Nikky: I think you did, sitting next to me. Especially if you went on an immunity run. You're a strong competitor, a social guy and I think sitting next to anybody in the final five would've netted you a win.
  • Yevgenia: Let's count the votes. You definitely get both Marcos and Edison along with probably Elise and Jonny as well 'cause you were all on Karang together. I get Nikky for sure but Dolores and Nacasha are a mystery to me. I'd say you would've had the upper hand though, and that's all the more reason you had to leave when you did. No offense of course.

Anthony: None taken. Thanks to the both of you.

Voting[]

After Elise steps down, Jeff gives the jury a couple minutes to ruminate before sending Jonny to vote. A quick voting montage appears along with several confessionals.

You explained your game the best and I respect the game and your hustle. Good work, I'm rooting for you.

–Anthony, voting for Yevgenia

I'm a lawyer. I'm trained to spot a liar and I 100% know Yevgenia lied up there when she was answering my question and I know you didn't. I promised it all came down to my question and I don't break my word. Here's my vote, you earned it.

–Elise, voting for Nikky

You really changed my mind up there tonight. Good on you.

–Dolores, her vote hidden

After all the votes have been cast, Jeff retrieves the votes before the scene cuts to CBS studios, where Nikky and Yevgenia sit awaiting the final verdict. Jeff thanks everyone for a great season before addressing Nikky and Yevgenia.

Well, you've waited for some time for this, let's not make it any longer

–Jeff

Reunion[]

  • A highlight reel of Yevgenia's best moments shows, including her fight with Marcos and her blindside of Nacasha among others.
  • Yevgenia reveals that she and Nikky have moved to Miami together and are currently roommates.
  • Elise clarifies her vote for Nikky, saying she knew Yevgenia was going to win but she wanted to stick to her morals and not vote for someone who just lied to her. Marcos interjects and adds that this has been the first time Elise has ever stuck to her morals.
  • Yevgenia sheepishly admits she did attempt to lie to gain Elise's vote and that she would've voted for Nikky had it been Nikky and Elise in the finale.
  • A highlight reel of Anthony's many challenge wins shows.
  • Nacasha talks about her relationship with her grandmother and how thankful she was towards Survivor for flying Dora all the way out to Africa.
  • Marcos and Yevgenia make up, although Marcos laughingly reveals he has crossed his fingers the entire time he apologized to her. Smiling, Yevgenia reveals she had done the exact same thing.
  • A highlight reel of Nikky's best moments shows.
  • Jeff highlights the prejury and talks to Bianca about barely missing the merge. Bianca shrugs, although she says seeing how far the rest of the girls made it, she could've made it pretty far. He also asks Sidney if he has any regrets for the way he acted, however Sidney shakes his head and says at least he went out with a bang.
  • Jeff talks to Edison about his relationship with Elise. He says the two shared an Asian bond, and that it was rare for more than Asian castaway to make it far in the season. He also says how happy he was that an immigrant ended up winning.
