You're Not Part of My Crew. So Back Away is the third episode of Survivor: Belgium

Previously on Survivor[]

As the last man on Antwerp, Daryl suddenly found his game in trouble while the girls were prepared to send him home. Over at Liege, Meifeng and Dion talked about boys and Dion's feelings for Allen were tested and Sandy observed their feelings. Carmen was unable to locate a hidden immunity idol and Harris vowed to keep an eye on her. Sherri was singing hymnals to the disgust of Colin. Patrice got Daryl to warm up to them by having him lift each of them.

At the immunity challenge, Meifeng sat out for Liege and Dion was unable to answer questions. This cost Liege the challenge and they were forced to Tribal Council. Meifeng strategized taking Dion out of the game causing Sandy and Reed to follow suit. Allen and Dion heard about Meifeng's plan and planned to send her home. At Tribal Council, Meifeng and Dion argued over the challenge. But with along with three votes from the other tribes, Meifeng sent a stunned Sandy home.

18 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

Story[]

Night 6[]

Liege[]

Returning from Tribal Council after seeing Sandy go home, Liege is in a state of shock.

Allen Man! What did the other tribes see in Sandy?

Meifeng Must've been the hair.

Reed I mean seriously! Somebody flipped right here.

Dion It's over! Forget it! Let's move on!

Allen I agree! Let's just forget about the challenge and let's try to win tomorrow. I want us to still have a chance at success. I like this group of four.

Meifeng I'm sorry Dion. I didn't know!

Dion I accept it now. But let's move on!

Reed Wait a minute! I'm the leader. I'll say when it's time to move on. (silence) It's time to move on.

Holy s#$%! I was so lucky tonight. I had no idea that the other three tribes would vote for Sandy. I mean come on. This was so awesome. I think I get some bonus points for being in a good position after making a move like that. Maybe this is the season of the Meifeng. Who knows?

–Meifeng

Allen and Reed later chat up.

Reed Just wondering if we're cool!

Allen Absolutely!

Reed I mean. I know you and Dion have something going on.

Allen We're just friends dude! No big deal!

Reed But between me and her, you would choose whom?

Allen You for sure!

I can't let Reed know that I'm starting to have feelings for Dion. He's my alliance partner and we have to stick together. If I can, I would allow Dion to join us. But for now, I need to make sure that Reed and I are true to each other. I want Dion as a person. But I need Reed as an ally.

–Allen

Day 7[]

Reward/Immunity Challenge[]

Somewhere near the coastline of Ostend is the village. There, people are going about their daily routines. What they don't know is that they are about to have company.

Jeff Come on in guys!

A boat that is carrying Antwerp, Hainaut, and Namur arrive to see the beautiful coastline of Ostend. They wait as Liege arrives on another boat.

Jeff Guys getting your first look at the new Liege tribe. Sandy voted out last Tribal Council.

All three tribes are shocked at the sight of no Sandy.

Jeff Well by the looks of your faces, I think you guys are shocked to see Sandy go. One person from Liege plus you three tribes voted her out. Antwerp, why did you vote Sandy?

Patrice We thought she would be a huge challenge threat for Liege and we sent her home.

Jeff Hainaut?

Felipe I think we were all intimidated by her looks. Nothing personal.

Jeff Namur?

Sherri It was just a wasted vote on our part. We didn't care who left for them.

Jeff Reed, when you hear this, what is the reaction?

Reed I think we buy Antwerp's story more then the other two because she was a good competitor for us and it sucks that she's gone. Hopefully we turn things around.

Jeff Alright! Well welcome to the coastline of Ostend. You see very busy streets and people talking. This is where your next immunity and reward challenge will be at. So I need the statues back please. Thank you guys! Once again, immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, you guys will be Goodwill Ambassadors to a local orphanage here in Ostend. Today is National Shoe Day where people are donating shoes for orphanages around the world. Today, you are going to be collecting shoes for the children at the orphanage right here. On my go, you will spread out into the city collecting as many shoes as you can. You'll each have one hour to go out and collect as many shoes as you can. But in order for you to collect them, you have to find and return three items to their respected places. A Belgium flag, a stereo, and a compass. There are four of these out there. So you must take one each. Once you return them, you will have additional items to help you find shoes for the orphanage. After one hour, we will collect the shoes and we'll count how many each tribe. The two tribes with the two highest number of shoes wins immunity. That means the losing two tribes will have Tribal Council for the next two days. I'll explain how it works after the challenge. In addition, the tribe that collects the most shoes will have reward. They will get to spend one night at a nearby hotel here in town and deliver the shoes to the children. The second place tribe, you will also deliver the shoes to the children. But you will leave here with another reward. Comfort. Pillows, towels, shampoo, toothbrushes, whatever you need to feel fresh. Now Hainaut and Namur, you have one extra person each. So you must decide if you want to compete as five or have one person sit down. Give a few seconds to discuss with each other.

Hainaut and Namur discuss the plan.

Jeff Ok Namur, what have you decided?

Colin We're competing as five!

Jeff Alright, five on Namur. Hainaut?

Carmen I'm sitting out.

Shocked reactions on everyone as Carmen volunteers.

I'm not going to give away valuable shoes to orphans. It's their fault that they don't have any shoes. I'm keeping my shoes. I'm not wasting them.

–Carmen

Jeff Ok! Everyone except Namur will have four tribe members. So give y'all some time to strategize and we'll get started.

On Jeff's go, the hour and the challenge begins. Hainaut and their four walk alongside Namur to the one side of the city while the other two tribes go to another side of the city. Hainaut discovers baskets and bags.

As leader of this tribe, I felt it was best to go grab as many bags and baskets as we could. Carmen wasn't with us because she's spoiled. But who cares? I wanted to make sure we got as much as we could. I took charge right away.

–Felipe

Felipe Ok guys! Grab as many baskets and bags as you can. Rick and Harry, you guys go together towards the center of the city. Angie, come with me. We'll go to the outside. And you..

Felipe points to Daniel, who somehow had broken loose from his tribe.

Felipe You're not part of my crew. So back away.

Sherri Daniel, get over here.

Daniel, realizing his mistake, rejoins Namur. The tribes get going. At Liege, Reed and Meifeng decide to pair up and look for shoes. Right away. Meifeng discovers a local Asian diner. She takes Reed there and starts speaking in Chinese. Reed, who actually found a compass, follows behind.

I know that there are a lot of Asian people who make shoes. So it was critical for me to try and talk to these people and see. When I was talking to them, they were happy to give us their shoes. Some of them took theirs off and gave it to us. I asked why they would do that and they would say we have more shoes at home. We can walk barefoot. We gave them a compass and they were happy to see that it belonged to them. So we're two items short.

–Meifeng

Meifeng and Reed continue their search and Meifeng goes to another Asian diner. There she gets a big surprise as she talks to the chef.

Reed What did he say?

Meifeng We're in luck! He's got shoes that he wants to donate and he says we can take them.

Reed Alright!

I had my doubts about Meifeng because she seemed weird to me. But when she was speaking in Chinese, everyone understood and contributed to us. I was so happy and so relieved to see her do her job. She really is a great person.

–Reed

Allen and Dion, who are walking with wagons they found also have a Belgium flag and a stereo. Quickly, they find a music store where they give the stereo in return for three pairs of shoes.

Allen Well that's one item down. Two to go.

Dion I wonder if the others are doing well.

Allen Maybe they found the compass.

Allen and I decided that we were going for the items and not the shoes. Once we get the items, we'll return them and then get the shoes in return. It's a risky strategy, but we think this would help us in what we need to do for our tribe to win this challenge. I sure could use a rest on a comfortable bed instead of sand.

–Dion

Antwerp decides to go as a group of four. So far, they've managed to find and return a compass and the flag for shoes. The trouble is now with the stereo.

Patrice We got to find a music store for shoes.

Daryl Every music store has a stereo.

Topanga We could try Wal-Mart.

Lisa I don't think they would have a Wal-Mart.

We've been managing to collect shoes from the items we returned. But now were having trouble with the stereo that we have. It seems like every store we tried to find already has or doesn't need a stereo.

–Lisa

Soon they see a man on a street playing a saxophone. But it's not playing loudly enough. This gives Topanga an idea.

Topanga Let's see if we can give him this stereo.

I see this guy with a saxophone and he's having trouble playing it loudly. I'm thinking we give him this stereo, stay here and collect shoes. So we went over and talked to the man who calls himself Heinz. We were able to strike up a deal and we set the stereo down, plugged in the cords to the instrument and he just started playing. Then we all waited for others to bring shoes and lots of people came to donate shoes and money.

–Topanga

Topanga (shouting) We need shoes and Heinz here needs money because he loves to play. He just gave his shoes and he wants to help orphanages.

Daryl (shouting) Come on people. The kids need shoes at the orphanage.

While Antwerp is enjoying their business deal, Namur is having trouble of their own. Colin, Natalya, and Xavier are walking alongside a beach looking for shoes. They seem to be forgetting that they had to collect the items needed to get the shoes.

Colin Anybody want shoes to get rid of?

Natalya Anybody got old shoes that need to go?

Xavier Anybody speak english at all?

Something is missing from our instructions. We're trying to grab shoes and we can't find any luck. It's so hard trying to keep them. So then I was like, hell with it. Let's just donate our shoes. So we got three pairs of shoes with us from our own. But we're not having much luck.

–Natalya

The three walk off on the beachside as a bird drops another excrement on Xavier and his shoes.

Xavier GODDDDDD!

Daniel and Sherri on the other hand are having much more success. They are able to find and return the items they need and continue collecting shoes.

Sherri (shouting through the crowded streets) Shoes for the orphans. Shoes for the orphans. They are people too you know.

Daniel It gets cold here and they don't want to freeze to death or get frostbite.

Sherri Bit too far!

Daniel Sorry!

Despite that comment, the shoes keep piling on.

Man, I enjoy this challenge. It's so happy to see kids get the shoes they need. I think this would totally get everyone excited for us. I think we're doing ok and I think we will win this challenge and the hotel.

–Daniel

At Hainaut, Rick is trying to get everyone to get shoes in the center of the city. He has a flag, a compass around his neck, and a megaphone he borrowed.

Rick (using megaphone) No more frostbite. No more cold feet. No more suffering for these children. They're lives will be happier inside and outside with nothing but a pair of shoes.

Despite Rick's efforts, no one appears to be interested in helping. Then, Harris comes in with a stereo.

Harris You know, you're going about this all wrong Ricky. If you want to impress these people, you can't just stand there and act like Ben Stein. You need to have a little more entertainment. Here watch this!

Harris turns the stereo on and music starts to play. Then a crowd of dancers start to appear in the center of the town to start the entertainment. As the karaoke of "I Want to Be Like You" from Jungle Book plays, Harris starts to sing as the crowd turns. Using the tune to the song, Harris sings and dances to the song using words describing why people should give the shoes to the orphans. People seem to get interested and then start donating their shoes as Harris continues to dance and perform. Rick even tries to get involved.

I don't think I've ever seen an entertainer like Harris. He really makes this challenge more fun then it already is. The crowd seems to be enjoying it and shoes are coming in. I think Harris has created a draw. There's no way we can lose this challenge.

–Rick

Not far from the entertainment, Angie and Felipe see this. Angie is laughing while Felipe is not impressed.

Felipe That scoundrel!

Angie I think he's funny and good.

Felipe This is a serious task. We should not be dancing. Come on!

Angie Come on Felipe! Enjoy this more!

The duo continue. But unlike their counterparts, they don't seem to be having luck.

I think Felipe is taking this leadership thing too seriously. He really needs to tone down the seriousness and enjoy the humor and laughter of this task. Harris is trying to get the shoes in and he's enjoying himself doing it. I like it. I want to have fun doing this task.

–Angie

Soon, the hour is up and all four tribes have returned from their challenge to meet Jeff in the coastline.

Jeff Alright guys! I know you had some fun during the challenges. Antwerp, how did you do?

Daryl I think we did great. Topanga found a saxophone player and we just enjoyed collecting shoes using him.

Jeff Very nice! Hainaut?

Rick Well Jeff, Harris here did one better. He actually drew a crowd with his entertainment and dancing.

Jeff Harris, how many did you draw?

Harris More then my fingers and hands combined.

Jeff Liege? Did you do good?

Reed I think we did so. Meifeng did a great job communicating with a few Asian people trying to collect shoes.

Jeff Very nice. Namur.

Xavier I think we did ok!

Jeff Ok as in?

Natalya We did ok. We had our share.

Jeff Ok guys! We collected the shoes and we will give them the numbers in terms of pairs. We'll start with Liege. Liege collected a total of 214 pairs of shoes. Well done Liege.

Allen Good job guys!

Jeff Now let's see how Namur did. Namur collected a total of 47 pairs of shoes.

Sherri (whispering) Wow!

Jeff That means that if either of the two tribes collected more, you will be going to Tribal Council. Hainaut, let's see how y'all did. Y'all collected 174 pairs of shoes.

Harris (whispering) Thought there were more.

Jeff Namur, regardless of the result, you're going to Tribal Council. Antwerp, if you collected more than 174 pairs, you will not be going to Tribal Council and Hainaut will be. Antwerp, you collected a total of...

207 pairs of shoes.

Antwerp and Liege celebrate while Hainaut and Namur express their disappointment.

Jeff Antwerp and Liege. Congratulations. You collected more then the other tribes. You will be going on reward to deliver the shoes to the orphanage today. Liege, since you collected more shoes then Antwerp, you will be spending the night at reward in a hotel. You will return to camp tomorrow. Hainaut and Liege, I'm sorry to say that you will be heading back. Here's how Tribal Council will work. Tomorrow, Hainaut will have their's first since they finished third. Then the next night, Namur will have theirs. Y'all head on back to camp and both Antwerp and Liege will pick who they feel should be voted off.

Hainaut and Namur head back to camp while the other two tribes stay behind.

Antwerp/Liege[]

For Antwerp and Liege, the opportunity to deliver shoes is a memorable one. As soon as the tribes arrive on a truck, they are met by hundreds of screaming kids, who eagerly await new shoes.

Daryl Hello! Hello! Hello! We got gifts for you.

For the next hour, the children are given new shoes to try on. Some of them are tennis shoes while others are sandals, dress shoes, and crocs. The smiling faces on the children is a happy sight to see.

Patrice (to two kids fighting over a shoe.) Hey now! Take it easy!

Arriving at the orphanage to deliver shoes to the kids is something that makes it so happy to do. We’re like the saving graces they have been waiting for to have. Now that these shoes won’t be a problem for the kids who don’t have any. They won’t have to worry about cold feet and blisters. So this moment is one that is treasurable.

–Dion

Reed Here you go guys! Hey pass me those shoes over there Daryl, do you mind?

Daryl No problem man!

I’m known as a bad man on the race track. But I do have a softer side for kids. Sure I would love to have a son or a daughter of my own one of these days because a smile is what brights up my day on the faces, especially in a place like Belgium.

–Reed

Topanga is putting shoes on a little baby.

Topanga There we go! Who’s a good girl? Who’s a good girl?

Today was a great moment for me. But it was also bittersweet because I can’t ever have children in my life. I always wanted to be a mother, but me and my husband have just had problems trying to conceive a child. I know I can be a great mother. But I just pray to God that I can have a chance to be pregnant with a child. (crying) That would be the best gift of all-time other then winning a million dollars.

–Topanga

Hainaut[]

Coming back from the challenge, Hainaut discusses what went wrong.

Harris I really like the pairs.

Angie That’s not the problem though. The problem was that Carmen did not take part in the challenge.

Rick So she should be going, right?

Angie Well! She did let us down.

Felipe Of course Carmen is going. She’s a b#$&* she is. Letting us down in the challenge.

Oh sure! I want Carmen to go. Not really! I already have my sights set on Harris. He tried to draw attention to himself by drawing a big crowd. This is a no-no for this tribe. I feel that he is deserving to go.

–Felipe

Meanwhile Carmen goes for another look at the idol. She looks in almost the same places she did before. Again, she has no luck. But then, just as she was about to go back, she stops and turns to her right. There right in front of her is a bag. When she goes to look at it and opens it…

Carmen Hell yeah!

Carmen has found the first idol of the season.

Carmen It’s mine! Mine! Mine! Mine! Mine!

I am so happy that I found the hidden immunity idol. It is mine. I’m going to keep it and there is no way that anybody will vote me out tonight. No sir! I am the biggest b#@$%. I’m better than Parvati, better than Corrine, and better than Yolanda. Stupid b#$%& she was. I’m the best and I’m going to win because I always get what I want.

–Carmen

Liege[]

Back at the reward, Antwerp has already left for camp while Liege gets to stay for one night at the hotel they’re in. There is excitement of knowing that they will not be going to Tribal Council. The celebration is on as they jump on the beds and enjoy nice TV, watching Belgium soccer in words that they can’t understand. When the mood settles down, they discuss business.

Reed Alright guys! Who’s the targets for this week?

Allen Let’s start with Hainaut.

Dion I was really impressed with what Harris did to try and get his tribe into the challenge and he nearly pulled it off, so I would vote to keep him.

Meifeng But wouldn’t that be a reason to vote him off? I mean, he almost kept Hainaut safe. So my vote would be for him to go.

Dion What about Carmen? She didn’t take part in the challenge.

Allen I agree! She never took part in this challenge. So she should go because she thinks she’s safe regardless tonight.

Reed Is there anybody else on that tribe who needs to leave?

Dion No!

We go from celebrating to now making a decision as to who we should vote for the other tribe to send home. This is challenging because we suffered deadly with the last vote. Now it’s our turn to decide who gets voted out. The consensus is between Carmen and Harris. Who will stay and who will go? I’m not sure if our vote will decide it, but at least the other tribes are concerned about our decision now.

–Allen

Reed What about Namur?

Meifeng To me, a wasted vote would have to fall on one the men. Send one of them home.

Reed I think Colin is perhaps the guy who should be sent home because even though we don't know him, we're not sure what he brings to the tribe.

Allen My pick would be for X. Xavier! I just can't imagine what he brings to them that helps them out. Plus, I think he could be a problem for us. So I would have to choose him.

Now when it comes to decisions about Namur, they're like an oddity. No one knows what they're like. So it's pretty much a stupid vote if you ask me.

–Reed

Reed So all in favor, raise your hand.

Night 7[]

Namur[]

That night, most of Namur is sound asleep. That is, except for Natalya and Colin. The two are awake and talking.

Natalya I feel that either you, me, and X are probably being voted off.

Colin I agree!

Natalya We need to take the target off of us.

Colin I got it. We need to get X to let them vote you and then he'll vote with us.

Natalya How do you suppose that?

Colin Our three votes outdo the others.

Natalya What if the other two tribes vote the same with Sherri and Daniel? Did you ever think about that?

Colin I don't want to debate you. I'm telling you, we can make this work.

Natalya's issue is that she always feels every decision she dislikes has to be debated. This is not a debate. I can't beat Nat in a debate. I admit that. But she needs to learn to trust me. I think my plan will work to perfection. If it doesn't, then blame me.

–Colin

Day 8[]

Antwerp[]

The next day, after sleepy on sandy mats, Antwerp discusses the vote for the next two Tribal Councils.

Lisa I think we should vote Carmen for Hainaut and Colin for Namur.

Patrice I can understand Carmen. But I'm not sure Colin is the right pick.

Lisa We want to weaken their tribe, right?

Daryl Yeah, so?

Lisa So why don't we do that and send Colin out?

Topanga I don't know! I was thinking Natalya. She's probably the smartest on Namur and that could be a huge problem for us.

Patrice That's a good option.

Lisa Let's make every tribe have 2 and 2. Two men and two women.

Patrice We'll have to vote someone other than Carmen for that to happen.

The hardest thing to do in this game other than survive the elements is decide who on the other tribes deserves to be voted. We hardly know these people and they don't seem bad. So once we make a decision, we either make a million dollar move or get bitten in the butt later on. I always hope and pray that I don't have regrets after each vote.

–Patrice

Patrice It could be that the next time, there will be two tribes instead of four. So we need to make a smart choice here.

Hainaut[]

As Hainaut gets ready for their Tribal Council, Angie walks over to Harris.

Angie Hate to bring you bad news, but you're name's being thrown out there.

Harris By who?

Angie Felipe!

Harris What's he got against me?

Angie He just doesn't think you were helping in the challenge with your skit. And he's taking this leadership role seriously.

Harris So by getting rid of me, he would affirm his place in the game.

Angie Exactly!

Harris Can't let that happen.

When Angie told me that my name was up by Felipe, I had a change of senses. I went from watching Carmen cause she's an evil Sofia Vergara to focusing on Felipe in case he pulls a Dracula on me. He's being a bossy leader and I just can't have him ruining my chance at stardom when I just discovered it.

–Harris

Harris I say we give an adios to Felipe. I can get Rick. But you need to get Carmen.

Angie I don't know about that!

Harris Just say vote with the tribe and not as a favor from you. You got this.

I'm not a huge fan of Carmen nor do I plan to speak to her. She really thinks about herself and wants to win this game on her terms. It didn't work with Yolanda last time. So it might not work for Carmen. If that's the case, then I might as well talk to her and get her to flip.

–Angie

Angie walks to Carmen, who is having an argument with Felipe.

Felipe I just want to say you sitting out was disrespectful to the children, to me, and to the tribe. We could've won had you helped out.

Carmen And give away valuable shoes to the orphans? No way Jose!

Felipe This was for a good cause and you showed disrespect.

Carmen It's their own fault they got in this position.

Felipe What do you have against charities and orphanages?

Carmen Why do we have to give shoes that we wear to kids who should struggle to find work and make money to buy shoes?

Felipe Because these kids can't afford it. You're just spoiled.

Carmen I get what I want always.

Felipe Think your father likes you at this point?

Carmen Don't bring up my father in the first place.

Felipe I'm not your father. But if I was, I would ground you and make you work in labor.

Carmen Well if you were my old man, I would make you sleep in the trashcan with my recent dead cats.

Felipe You're a cruel person.

Felipe walks off while Carmen lies down.

As soon as the argument ended, I wanted to forget the plan and change my vote to Carmen to send her home because of what she said. However, the fear of Felipe being in control is taking over my thoughts and I just can't let him call the shots. So, I have to get Carmen to commit to us. But I run the risk of giving her the million dollars for the move. Here goes nothing!

–Angie

Angie walks over to Carmen.

Carmen What do you want?

Angie Um! I know we don't speak, but I couldn't help but overhear the conversation and I want to help you.

Carmen You want to help me? How?

Angie The tribe's flipping on Felipe tonight. So you can vote with us if you want.

Carmen Ok!

It surprised me when Ms. Goofily Eyes decided to ask me to join her side and vote for Felipe. I had to admit I despise her looks, but I love her thinking because I was thinking about sending Felipe home. That's probably the only thing we agreed on so far here.

–Carmen

Angie Pending the votes from the other tribes, I would say it's a forgone conclusion. 4-1 in favor of Felipe going. So, I wouldn't worry much about it.

Carmen Totally, I understand!

Angie Just try not to cause problems for the rest of the day.

Carmen Ok!

I have a feeling I'm going to regret this and now I'm having second thoughts. Looks like I'm the swing vote tonight and I feel that it shouldn't be fair to blame me for this. So we'll see how tonight plays out. I'm nervous, but confident inside me that things will work in my favor.

–Angie

Hainaut Tribal Council[]

Hainaut arrives to their first Tribal Council where Jeff is waiting for them.

Jeff Behind each of you is a torch. I need you to grab one and light a fire. In this game, fire represents your life. When our fire is out, so are you. So Hainaut, you guys really came together in the challenge. But yet, you came up short. What happened Felipe?

Felipe Well we had a great strategy going in. It would've been nice had we had Carmen competing. But, I thought we had a great plan.

Jeff What was that plan?

Felipe I had Harris and Rick go to the center of town while Angie and I went outside the coastlines. I couldn't have us do it together.

Jeff Angie, who did the better job? You or Harris's team?

Angie Honestly, I think Harris was the star of this team. If it hadn't been for him, we probably wouldn't have been able to make the amount we made. Not only that, but Rick also found the items needed to trade and get the shoes. So I think those two did a better job.

Jeff Harris, tell me about the performance that you did.

Harris Well Rick was trying to get the attention of everyone and I saw he was having trouble doing so. So I went up and just decided to entertain the crowd. I put in the karaoke music and the shoes just started to pile on. I really thought we made more shoes. But hearing what happened at Antwerp, that probably may have been the deciding factor to send us home.

Jeff Rick, did you think Harris made this task go well even though you lost or was it too much?

Rick Well Harris was smart enough to realize that I was not doing well with the crowd and he helped me gather the crowd as much as I can. So, I don't blame him one bit for what he did. It worked to us.

Felipe If I could just say, I thought it was disrespectful. I think Harris was trying to grab attention for himself to be the hero.

Harris Well at least our side got more then your side. Angie admitted to that.

Jeff Carmen, you sat out this challenge. Why?

Carmen Honestly Jeff, I really struggle to see the point of giving shoes to orphans when they should do that instead.

Jeff What? Finding shoes?

Carmen Yeah! Because there are certain people who need them more.

Jeff Who?

Carmen I mean... Business folks. Girl shoppers.

Jeff Angie, does Carmen fear of kids who aren't as fortunate as her?

Angie One would think Carmen would see the broad perspective of this. But, I guess Carmen is trying to take it all in. This is something that she never had to do and it personally worries me that if she gets a million dollars, she'll only think about herself.

Jeff Felipe, as leader of this tribe, do you think Carmen sitting out was a major blow to y'all?

Felipe I mean, it was a tough way to lose not having her.

Jeff But which was the reason? Carmen's sit-out or Harris' dancing?

Felipe Wile I wasn't a fan of the show Harris put on, I had to say we could've survived had Carmen at least taken part in the challenge.

Carmen shakes hear head.

Carmen Look guys! I understand you didn't like it. I don't blame you for not liking it. But I'm not going to let y'all influence my game whether I take part in this challenge or not. I will step up in the next challenge.

Harris Is that a promise?

Carmen You can bet on it there son.

Jeff Well, at least she admits to willing to step up.

Harris I think she wants to step up and take a potty break.

Jeff Ok, before we go to the votes, Rick, you guys made the decisions as to who you think should be voted out of this game. Does it concern you now what Antwerp and Liege will decide because they were the first two sent home?

Rick I'm a bit nervous about tonight. I think all five of us are in the hot seat as far as this game goes. So, hopefully I stay. But if I go, then so be it.

Jeff Well two votes are not enough. So y'all need to contribute here. It is time to vote. Harris, you're up!

Harris walks to the booth and casts his vote. One by one, others follow her. Felipe votes for Carmen.

Carmen, you are the most selfish, disloyal, idiotic person I've ever known. I wish my wife would come down and show everyone how good she can beat you up.

–Felipe

Carmen and Rick take their turn with Carmen voting for Felipe.

I'm sorry that I'm nice and fresh while you're old and smelly. Good riddance.

–Carmen

Angie is the last person to vote. Then she sits down.

Jeff I'll go tally the votes.

Everyone waits for Jeff to return with the urn.

Jeff If anyone has an idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.

Although Carmen has an idol, she does not play it. No one else even bothers to move.

Jeff Alright, it's now time to see who Antwerp and Liege gave their votes to.

Antwerp: Carmen (1-0)

Liege: Carmen (2-0)

Jeff Ok! Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

First vote: Felipe (2-1)

Carmen (3-1)

Felipe (3-2)

Felipe (3-3)

Third person voted out of Survivor: Belgium:

Felipe

A disappointed Felipe gets up to grab his torch as Carmen and the others smile.

Jeff Felipe, you're tribe has spoken. (snuffs torch) Time for you to go.

Felipe walks off into the night.

Jeff Well if there's one thing that should be taken away from this, it's that y'all need to step up if you want to win challenges. Grab your torch and head on out. Good night!

Hainaut leaves with four members left as Felipe's final words are spoken.

Day 9[]

Namur[]

The next day, Namur gets up with Tribal Council on their minds. For Sherri, there is a sense of panic on her part.

Looking at the tribe we have, there's a great chance that my name should be brought up tonight and I just can't allow that to happen. Normally, I would pray for me to stay here. But I know God has other things to worry about then me here today. So now, I have to look out for myself.

–Sherri

Sherri starts looking around for an idol. She doesn't seem to be having luck. She searches high and low through the trees and bushes, but can't find anybody. Suddenly, a butterfly flies by her and circles it's way around a nest. Sherri climbs up to see that the nest is empty except for the hidden immunity idol.

Sherri Yes! Yes! Thank you Jesus! Thank you Jesus! Thank you butterfly!

I always thoughts idols meant nothing to people. But I figured I could keep this in my possession and make sure no else grabs it. I don't expect to play it anytime soon. But if I do, then I'll use it at the right time so that I don't avoid being caught.

–Sherri

Sherri kisses the idol and puts in her pocket before walking off. Meanwhile, Xavier, who had been notified of the plan from Colin and Natalya, comes to Daniel.

Xavier Listen dawg! There's a bounty for Natalya. We send her home tonight, it would cost us a fortune.

Daniel Meaning?

Xavier All you have to do is vote for Natalya and everything will be ok.

Daniel Ok!

Xavier I know you think it's crazy. But trust me, it can work.

We going to stay? Me and Sherri are going to stay in this game? Hurray! Hurray! I'm so excited that I just can't hide it. I think this would be a great time to send Natalya home. We can make sure that she says good-bye here. I'm so excited. This is great news for Sherri and I. I must tell her at once.

–Daniel

Daniel rushes to join Sherri.

Daniel Good news! Xavier just told me that if we vote for Natalya, then we were safe for another three days. Can you believe it?

Sherri What?

Daniel Xavier promised us three days in this game if we vote Natalya. Can you believe it? This is incredible!

Sherri Was he positive?

Daniel Of course he was. We don't have to worry!

I was very suspicious about Xavier guaranteeing us safety because he doesn't seem to have much of a clue on this island other than getting attacked by birds. So I'm pretty sure that something might be causing him to act so weird. I don't think things will be that easy for us tonight.

–Sherri

Xavier rejoins Colin and Natalya.

Xavier I gave them what you said. Sounds like they buying it.

Colin Good! Now we just decide which of the two to send home.

Natalya Can't believe I'm saying this, but I trust you.

Colin No worries! Now who do we send home?

Xavier Sherri!

Natalya Daniel!

Colin Looks like I have the final say here.

Sherri and Daniel are the two targets on this tribe. This vote will send one of them home. Really doesn't matter who. But we have to make sure the right person goes. We have Sherri, a lovely women, who's religious beliefs is something I don't agree with. But she's been weak in challenges and hasn't been much help to us all. Then we have Daniel, a nice guy. But perhaps too nice. He's got an emotional side that makes it seem weird between Chuckie from Rugrats and Dora the Explorer. So either way, this tribe of idiots needs to send one of their own idiots out the door. Who is it going to be? Stay tuned America, because we're about to find out right now?

–Colin

Namur Tribal Council[]

Namur arrives for their first Tribal Council where Jeff awaits them.

Jeff Behind each of you is a torch. I need you to grab one and light a fire. In this game, fire represents your life. When our fire is out, so are you. Well, four is the lucky number tonight because this is the fourth tribal council with the fourth tribe on this season and they will leave with four people left. Pretty strange coincidence, isn't it Natalya?

Natalya It really is Jeff. I mean, in the past there's been two tribes battling each other trying to win. This season, there's four tribes, which makes it even harder because we hardly know the other sixteen people in this game. Or fourteen people I should say.

Sherri Twelve people! Hainaut had there's yesterday. There's seventeen players left.

Natalya Oh right! Thanks Sherri. But my point is we don't know much about the other tribes as much as we know about our own.

Jeff Colin, how would you rate this tribe?

Colin We're probably the only tribe that has a tribe full of idiots here. I mean that in a good way. We got a debating champ, a church singer, a dude with an afro, an emotional tough guy, and a guy who's being used as target practice for birds.

Jeff What's going on Xavier?

Xavier I really don't know! I feel like I have something inside me that is catching the attraction of birds to do number two on. I mean, I don't mean to sound dirty here Jeff. But it's just weird. Why don't they find a damn toilet or a pot potty.

Jeff You mean port-a-potty?

Xavier Yeah! That's why I mean! I don't why this keeps happening to me.

Jeff So Sherri, Colin calls this tribe a tribe of idiots. Are you offended by that or is just part of this game?

Sherri I think there does seem to be questions on this tribe with regards to who is trustworthy here and who's being a fake. I don't see any fakers here, but there's a lack of trust on my part with everyone here. I like them all as people. But where does the game become a factor to them?

Jeff Daniel, you've been together for nine days. How has the chemistry been for y'all?

Daniel Until today, we didn't have any issues with each other. We got along great and we definitely sent a message to the other tribes not to take us lightly. So we're doing great now!

Jeff But you didn't win the challenge!

Daniel Right! We didn't win the challenge. I'm just saying that we haven't had any arguments and we certainly get along well. It sucks that one of us is going home tonight because I'd rather be on this tribe to the end then any of the other tribes.

Jeff Colin, what happened during the challenge?

Colin Well, I think we were missing something from the challenge because nobody was willing to donate the shoes and we just didn't do a good job.

Jeff Did you get the items?

Colin What items?

Sherri We got them. A compass, Belgium flag, and a stereo. Yeah me and Daniel got them.

Jeff Ok! So there was no issue with that! How many shoes did you guys collect?

Colin Well, X, Nat, and I collected six from our own feet. So we donated them.

Jeff You donated your own shoes?

Colin We didn't want to leave empty-handed.

Jeff So 3 pairs of shoes. Daniel and Sherri collected?

Daniel Forty-four pairs!

Jeff That's a big difference!

Natalya We're not on The Apprentice!

Jeff I know that! But somehow three of you either didn't get the clue or you just wasted your time. What do you think Sherri?

Sherri I think they could've a lot more to contribute to the task.

Xavier What could we have done?

Sherri You could've at least tried to get someone to be entertaining. That's the thing we lacked in the challenge. We didn't have some kind of message with entertainment.

Natalya You're a singer!

Sherri But I only do Christian songs.

Colin There could've been one song you could've sang.

Sherri In the challenge we did, I would have to dig deeper to find a song about little children with no shoes. I had no time for that.

Jeff Xavier, where does this tribe go on from here?

Xavier It's a new ballgame Jeff. Tomorrow, we're going to be even up with four people on each tribe. Anything can happen here Jeff.

Jeff Well we are about to find out right now what's to come. It is time to vote. Daniel, you're up!

Daniel goes to vote in the booth and returns to his seat. One by one, everyone goes up and votes. Sherri votes for Natalya.

I don't trust your alliance, but I'm willing to stick to the plan.

–Sherri

The rest of the votes are cast without reveal. Everyone is now at their seats.

Jeff I'll go tally the votes.

Everyone waits for Jeff to return with the urn.

Jeff If anyone has an idol and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.

Sherri considers playing it, but then does nothing.

Jeff Alright, it's now time to see who Antwerp and Liege gave their votes to.

Antwerp: Colin (1-0)

Liege: Colin (2-0)

Jeff Ok! Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

First vote: Natalya (2-1)

Natalya (2-2)

Daniel (2-2-1)

Daniel (2-2-2)

Fourth person voted out of Survivor Belgium:

Daniel

Daniel and Sherri both have shocked reactions to the vote as the other three grin. Daniel grabs his torch after hugging Sherri.

Jeff Daniel, you're tribe has spoken. (snuffs torch) Time for you to go!

Daniel See ya guys!

Daniel walks off into the night.

Jeff Well, that was a surprise blindside. But it pails in comparison for what is to come in the next few days. Grab your torches and head on out. Good night!

Namur heads on out with four members left.

Ah nuts! I thought I could make an impact in this game. But, I think the others thought it would be smart to win with Carmen in the fold. So I have no problems. Hurt's that I'm out after eight days. But it is what it is I suppose.

Final Words[]

I guess I was so into the plan to send Nat home that I completely lost my composure and it cost me the game. I have no regrets about finishing where I finished. It was a blast and I had a good time. I'm gonna miss the folks I met and I wish them all the best.
