Survivor 3:16 Says You've Just Been Blindsided is the sixth episode of Survivor: Belgium

Previously on Survivor

Xavier and Natalya were upset after being led into a trap by Reed while Allen and Dion revealed their feelings for each other and had their first kiss. The next day, Daryl, with help from Sherri located a hidden immunity idol for Daryl to keep. Antwerp was able to pull out a huge reward win where Carmen got a dose of reality from an octopus. Rick helped Harris up and it was spotted by Dion. Back at Liege, Allen wanted to see where Rick's head was at in the game. He also decided to make Rick his fake ally.

Daryl tried to see if Lisa was willing to form an alliance with him while he and Harris planned for a final five. Xavier had another bad case of the birds. Antwerp won immunity where Lisa showed a different side to her. Daryl came up with a plan to have Antwerp give Reed their vote and force a tie on Liege to send him home. But Allen decided to take the hits for Reed and made Xavier and Natalya vote for him. At Tribal Council, Allen's plan worked as he and Reed had two votes each while Rick was sent home with four Liege votes.

14 are left. Who will be voted out tonight?

Story

Night 15

Liege

When Liege returns to camp after saying bye to Rick, two members are not so pleased.

Xavier I can't believe we got screwed again.

Natalya I know! What were we thinking?

Xavier I mean, we thought she was being serious that Dion.

Natalya So now it's just us vs. Liege.

Xavier I agree! We got to do something!

“	I cannot believe that we got screwed by Liege again. We fell for their tricks. Right now, we are screwed and we have no chance. But we're not done yet. We have to stick by each other.	”
–Natalya

Natalya I'm calling truce here. You and me until the end.

Xavier I agree! I totally agree!

Natalya We're not Liege anymore. We're still Namur and we have to let them know we're Namur all the way.

Xavier I'm down for that!

“	I'm sick and tired of us not bothering trying to go against the tribe's wishes. I'm done. And so is Natalya. So we ain't playing their game anymore. We're going to remove our buffs and put them in a place where if we need them, we'll grab them if Liege will accept us.	”

Xavier I don't care what they say, we're going on strike!

Natalya I agree! We'll do it tomorrow.

Day 16

Antwerp

The next day, Antwerp is having a special circle session where they talk about past players.

Sherri Who do you think is the dumbest player ever?

Daryl In terms of here right now? Dumb moves ever made? Or just dumb people?

Sherri I mean dumb players. People that just were dumb.

Harris I think Erik of Micronesia was pretty dumb if you ask me.

Carmen I'm gonna say Missy and Baylor of San Juan Del Sur. It just was uncomfortable watching them.

Topanga I thought they were ok. But they just were portrayed as villains.

Carmen And they can rot in hell if you asked me.

Daryl You don't mean Baylor University?

Carmen No, Baylor University is a great school. It should stay. I'm talking about the daughter Baylor. Missy should've changed her name to Spoiled B#$%&.

Laughter on everyone.

Sherri Amen girl! I would prefer Baylor University then Baylor the spoiled brat.

“	Honestly, I never had much fun being here more so then in the past few days because our tribe is getting along real well. We all are talking and there doesn't seem to be an inch of trouble if you ask me. I feel very blessed that Jesus gave me such wonderful people to be around and I cannot wait to see what happens when the tribe continues to win. I'm so excited for this.	”

However, Colin is one person that may seem to have trouble on his mind.

“	I'm the one player that should be feared by everybody. I'm the one player that will have control of this game and that is what I believe should happen and will happen. My plan now is to make everyone turn against each other. How I'm going to do that is really up for grabs.	”

Reward Challenge

Jeff Come on in guys!

Antwerp arrives to see nets, and coconuts. They wait as Liege arrives.

Jeff Antwerp getting your first look at the new Liege tribe. Rick voted out last Tribal Council.

Carmen and Harris are shocked to see this while Daryl is disappointed his plan didn't work. But the more shocking part is yet to come. As Liege makes their stand, Natalya and Xavier walk by them stand stand a few feet from Antwerp.

Jeff Natalya, Xavier, you guys don't seem happy with your tribe? What's going on?

Xavier Jeff, we were assigned to Liege as part of the rock folds and we were excited to join the new tribe. But the past few days, we saw something that really is a concern for us.

Jeff And what's that?

Natalya It's obvious that Liege is not Liege right now because Liege is in control of this tribe and they're sending out the outsiders.

Jeff Is there a division amongst the Liege tribe?

Xavier Dang right there is. I feel like those guys are wanting to take this Liege thing seriously. There's two Hainaut left in this game on Antwerp and I'm telling everyone right now, don't let Liege win this game. It would be bad for you guys.

Jeff Allen, what do you make of Xavier's statement?

Allen It's not surprising because I think they're bitter that we told them to vote one way when we were going to vote another way.

Natalya We got screwed by our own tribe and it's embarrassing.

Dion How so?

Xavier Let's break it down. You told us to vote for Reed, which we did and Angie got sent home. Then last night, you told us to vote for Allen, which we also did and Rick got sent home. You're basically punishing us. This is not Liege vs. Antwerp. This is Liege vs. Antwerp. vs. Namur.

Jeff Sherri, Xavier thinks that this is now a three-tribe battle. Are you following what he's saying?

Sherri I find it hard to believe that he would say that because there's four Liege people, four Antwerp people, and four Namur people I might add as well. The only tribe that's shrinking in numbers is Hainaut. They got two left. So why should he complained about Namur's numbers? It's Hainaut that's losing?

Jeff Harris, does it bother you and Carmen that your tribe was not mentioned in the conversation?

Harris I don't think it bothers us at all because if either me or Carmen wins the game, then that's a win for Hainaut. People will look at us and say this person won Survivor and he or she was from the Hainaut tribe. So as far as I see it, we still have four tribes even though there's only two active right now.

Jeff So Natalya, you're upset at Liege for doing this stuff. What do you do?

Natalya Jeff, we thought about it and we're not going to compete today.

Shocked faces on every person here except for Natalya and Xavier.

Jeff So you two are sitting out?

Xavier We're on strike Jeff!

Jeff Well I don't think I can recall seeing a few members on a tribe go on strike against their fellow tribe members. Dion, this has to be shocking for you.

Dion It really is because I thought that we were ok as far as morale and our chemistry was great.

Natalya Ok morale with great chemistry? If that was the case, then why tell us to vote one person and then vote another.

Meifeng Because it's part of the game. If you haven't watched Survivor before. It's part of the game.

Xavier Well here's part of the game: Go compete in the challenge by yourselves cause we're sitting down.

Natalya and Xavier sit down.

Jeff Well! This is really interesting. So Reed, you have a decision to make. What do you do as far as this tribe goes in the challenge?

Reed It's something we need to think about.

Jeff Well you guys have a choice! You can either compete in the challenge as four people, which means Antwerp would have to sit four people out. Or you can choose to not do the challenge and let Antwerp win by forfeit. They will also take the reward with them. So what's your decision?

The four Liege members get together and speak. Initially, the conversation starts with wanting to play the challenge to teach Natalya and Xavier a lesson. But then, the topic turns to losing. Then after a group vote, a decision is made.

Reed Jeff, we've decided that if Nat and X aren't going to play, then we're not going to play. We choose to forfeit and give Antwerp the reward.

Antwerp is surprised and shocked by the statement while Natalya and Xavier shake their heads in disgust.

Jeff Ok! Liege is forfeiting the challenge to Antwerp. Antwerp, you will get reward which will be cotton candy delivered to this island.

Antwerp smiles with glee while Dion and Meifeng are crushed by what they heard.

Jeff So you guys head on back to camp. I'll see you for the immunity challenge.

Harris Thanks Jeff!

Topanga Thanks Liege!

Antwerp heads back to camp while Liege stays behind.

Jeff Well it seems that you guys got some things to work out. Hopefully, you resolve your issues by the immunity challenge. I'll see you guys then.

Liege leaves along with Natalya and Xavier.

Reward

Antwerp returns to camp with shocked looks on their faces.

Daryl Wow! Wow! Wow!

Patrice I'm just in shock right now!

Topanga I mean, I'm glad we won reward. But this way is just not what I had in mind.

Harris Well at least we know what's going on over there? Those four peeps are really going to cause major problems if they make it to the merge.

“	Today was a bit of a confusing day for all of us. We go to the reward challenge expecting to win reward. We win reward because two members of Liege decide to go on strike and cause so much chaos. Now we have an understanding of what Liege is up to. So now all we have to do is wait till they lose and see where they go when then vote out. If those four are still in power, then we'll be waiting for them.	”

The mood soon changes however, when the cotton candy man arrives and they each grab a flavor of cotton candy. The next series of montages are of the castaways tasting enjoying their cotton candy. Topanga is shown having a green flavored cotton candy. As soon as she finishes a bite, she finds out she has a green mustache on her. Everyone laughs as Topanga sees the mustache. They all decide to have a mustache from cotton candy. Soon, everyone has a mustache and they make fun of each other.

“	I honestly think that the whole Liege thing really made us realize that their is tension on any tribe. But we really don't want each other to get upset and we want to stay together. That's why we need to keep winning by our efforts and not by forfeits. I think Liege will make a costly mistake.	”

Day 17

Liege

The next day, the tension amongst Liege is starting to increase after the events the day before. Concerned and worried, Xavier decides to take action.

“	Yesterday, me and Natalya made a stand against the other Liege tribe members by going on strike and refusing to play in the challenge. But, they responded by forfeiting the challenge, which is a sign that there is bitter tension. So right now, I got to do something. The only way I can secure myself and Natalya in this game is by looking at the idol.	”
–Xavier

Xavier begins his work trying to find the idol. He first searches in the bushes.

Xavier Ah-ha!

But he finds nothing. He then looks under some rocks.

Xavier Ah-ha!

But again, he is unsuccessful. Then he looks in a tree.

Xavier Ah-h... What the?

Before Xavier realizes it, white stuff is fired from inside the tree. Xavier is covered in more crap as it is realized that there are birds there.

Xavier Damn!

Later, Liege decides to call a meeting to talk about what happened. Xavier joins up with them.

Reed You got birds#$% on you again?

Xavier Don't you know it?

Reed Listen guys! I think we got off to a bad start. I don't want any of us to feel like we're not important here. We all need to feel like we're a tribe.

Natalya But how since you guys have a plan to get rid of us?

Reed I want us to win this challenge and not have to worry about this. But we need to work together as a tribe.

Meifeng I'm down with that!

Reed So do we all agree to forget about the votes until after we lose the challenge?

Everyone Yes!

Xavier Sorry guys!

Natalya Me too!

“	It was very important for me to call this meeting because I need this tribe to be united and strong so that come immunity challenge time, we could easily be ready for Antwerp and try to beat their asses. However, that doesn't mean that I'm a hundred percent going to follow this alliance. I know what to expect already. I got a few tricks up my sleeve.	”

Antwerp

While Liege begins the process of recovery, Antwerp is about to do a 180. It all begins when Sherri is singing more hymnal praises to herself. At least, that's what she thinks. Colin and Harris are nearby.

Colin Can you believe this woman?

Harris What?

Colin She's singing about this mystical force that takes us to life. It's like when we go, we're moving to a new world.

Harris And you don't believe in heaven.

Colin Come on man! We die, we die! We ain't going nowhere.

Harris Have you ever thought about seeing your loved ones again?

Colin Hell no! I mean why bother listen to a bunch of crazy idiots saying this Jesus freak will overtake us all.

Sherri, who tries not to ignore what she hears, has enough and decides to talk to Colin about it.

Sherri You got a problem with my beliefs?

Colin What?

Sherri I asked if you got a problem with my beliefs!

Harris I'm just going to find out when the dinosaurs died.

Harris leaves the two.

Sherri Let me tell you something! I don't mind people who don't believe in the same things I do. But to criticize your feelings about it in front of me is a different thing.

Colin Oh so you don't like it when I say you're a freak for believing in this crap?

Sherri Yes I do!

Colin Haters gonna hate babe!

Sherri Don't you haters gonna hate babe me Col! I don't criticize you for being a stupid moron for not believing in religion.

Colin Like you have friends who don't.

Sherri I have friends who believe in different religions. I have friends who don't believe in religion at all. We talk about it, but we don't say mean things about the other person.

Colin Well that's their problem! That's their problem!

“	Sherri is treating this like this is some religious thing. It's not! It's Survivor! We're not in church. I think church is a waste of time out here. If I'm going to be hated because of that, fine. Let me be hated for it.	”

Sherri And you want a world with no God?

Colin Well, I mean!

Sherri Because there is never gonna to be a world where people believe in one thing. I believe in God and I believe that my sins were taken because of the death of Christ and if you don't like that or my hymnals, then know your role shut your damn mouth.

Colin Well that's fine because we got men and women who die everyday and no one knows or will know where they go.

Sherri If you want to know, I would suggest to go to Jesus. But it sounds to me like you're not interested. So don't even bother going.

“	I will not my faith in God be tested by someone who worships the devil or doesn't care about religion. Colin wants to try and beat me because of his atheism. That's not going to work for me. I love my god and I love my children. I will not make anything go wrong for them.	”

Day 18

Immunity Challenge

Jeff Come on in guys!

Both tribes return to the same location that they were in the reward challenge. It's clear that the reward challenge will now be the immunity challenge.

Jeff Liege, you decided to forfeit the reward challenge. It's been two days since then. How have things gone for you?

Allen We had a meeting and we just decided to forget about everything that happened and move on. We're not going to worry about the vote until we lose.

Jeff So Xavier, are you and Natalya worried that if you lose the challenge, then you'll be sent home?

Xavier We acted like idiots the other day. We apologize to this tribe. But if we lose, then we're going to fight for our survival.

Jeff Alright, things look in order. You guys for today's immunity challenge?

Everyone Yes!

Jeff First things first Antwerp. I'll take it back once again.

Jeff gets the statue from Antwerp.

Jeff Once again, immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge, three members of each tribe will hold onto a rope that is holding large nets while members of the other tribe will toss coconuts into a net one at a time. The more coconuts in the net, the heavier the net, the more likely you'll drop out. Last person left holding on for their tribe wins immunity, safe from the vote. Losers go to Tribal Council where somebody will be voted of this game. Antwerp, you have to extra people. Who's sitting out?

Carmen and Sherri raise their hands

Jeff Carmen and Sherri sit on the bench. Give y'all a minute to strategize and we'll get started.

When the challenge gets started, Allen, Dion, and Reed are holding nets for Liege while Colin, Daryl, and Patrice are the ones holding Antwerp's net. Everyone else is shooting coconuts. Right away, the coconuts are hitting the nets and making them heavier. It isn't long before Dion can't hold on any longer. Liege has two members left. Allen and Reed try to hold on for as long as they could. A mistake on Colin's part where he loses focus is costly as he drops out. Both sides have two net holders left. Patrice is willing to show how strong she is. But the more the coconuts fly, the more she can't hold on and she drops. Daryl is the last hope for Antwerp to hang on. He proves to be a tough one to beat as Reed drops. Allen and Daryl fight to hold on. But Daryl's hands start to sweat and the rope slips dropping the net. Liege wins immunity and they celebrate while Antwerp goes to Tribal Council for the first time in a long time.

Liege

Liege returns to camp celebrating and enjoying a nice win as a tribe. Although there is no reward for them, the feeling of unity is the best one.

Reed Alright guys! We did it.

Dion Awesome!

Xavier Man I love this tribe again.

Allen Hey guys! Great win! Natalya and Xavier, welcome back to Liege.

Reed Wait a minute! I'm the leader! I'll say welcome back to them when it's time. (silence) Welcome back to Liege Natalya and Xavier.

“	I will admit that we were fools for doing what we did. We have to realize that it's just a game and we don't really need to worry about the votes or alliances. We now need to go for broke and try to see what we can do from here on out.	”

Dion Alright!

Meifeng So guys! Now that we have immunity, which of the losers do we send home?

Reed My feeling is we have to vote for a strong person. Antwerp has four. Why don't we vote for Daryl?

Allen I like it. He's the strongest over there and he'll pose a problem for us.

Natalya I was thinking of another way. I thought we could send Sherri home.

Liege looks at Natalya with a surprised look.

Reed Didn't you want to keep Namur in control?

Natalya My fear is that Sherri could be a problem strategically and that she doesn't need to win challenges. She can be a good social player and she may use her relationships to her advantage.

“	At first, I was like what are you talking about? You went on strike to make Liege united and we were going to spare Namur. Now all of the sudden, you want to shrink Namur's tribe down? Your own tribe? What's wrong with you? It doesn't make sense!	”

Natalya I'd rather risk Daryl because he has no brain then I would for Sherri because she can beat us all the way.

Reed Alright! Decision time!

Antwerp

Back at Antwerp, the feeling of letdown is felt amongst everyone. Colin gathers Carmen, Harris, and Lisa to a meeting.

Colin Here's the deal! I think we should send Sherri home.

Carmen Agreed! I totally agree!

Colin Because she's the weakest out here. She sat out today. I thought she was a strong woman.

Harris Ok! Here's my problem! You know what's going on at Liege right?

Colin What?

Harris They're taking out the outside members one by one. Carmen and I are the last two Hainaut members here.

Colin Why are you worried?

Harris My fear is that if we vote Sherri, we give Antwerp the advantage.

Colin We won't! Because Lisa is with us. Aren't you girl?

Lisa Yeah! I guess! I'm with y'all!

“	I'm about to take this game and flip it upside down. This is why I feel I'm the one calling shots here. Sherri thinks she can make believers in God out of everyone. That's not really true! I'm the one who will turn against her God and send her home instead.	”

“	I honestly don't know why I was placed in Colin's crew in the first place. I'm suddenly starting to feel like everyone is going against Sherri for no reason. She's a very nice woman and she should stay in this game. I just fathom myself to find a reason why Sherri should leave. It just isn't fair. She is a good woman. Colin is just being insane.	”

Sherri, Patrice and Topanga are talking in the forest.

Sherri I think it's me tonight!

Patrice Why do you say that?

Sherri After Colin and I have a quarrel, I know he's got a plan to vote me out.

Topanga Well Antwerp's not going to send you home.

Sherri What about Lisa? She's the one who's on the outside!

Patrice You want to vote her out?

Sherri No! She's the swing vote! She can easily be swayed by Colin.

“	Sherri is worried that she's going home after her fight. Patrice and I realized that Lisa hasn't been in much of our tribe for much of the time. So we need to make sure we get her or else, it'll be too late for us.	”

Topanga goes to talk to Lisa.

Lisa Hey Topy!

Topanga Got a second girl?

Lisa I do!

Topanga Let me ask you this. Do you feel like you fit in with Antwerp?

Lisa What do you mean?

Topanga I mean, do you feel comfortable around us?

Lisa I do! Why are you asking?

Topanga I'm just thinking that if the outside alliance wanted you to join them, then that's a sign that you're not with us.

Lisa I'm just worried that voting Sherri out would be a bad thing.

Topanga You don't have to vote for Sherri. She's a strong woman and we need her. The only outside person I want gone is Colin. He's really calling the shots.

Lisa I think he wants Sherri gone for personal reasons and not for right reasons.

Topanga You can always join us. We'll vote for Colin and then with you, that's five and he's gone.

“	My pitch to Lisa is basically telling her that if she doesn't like her stance in the middle, then she should be with us and vote Colin out. We can't afford to lose Lisa just like that. It isn't fair and I don't want to see Sherri or Lisa go because they didn't make a case as to why they should stay. I need Lisa's vote if my chances of survival are going to go up.	”

Topanga Just want you to know that we love you and we care for you so much. I'm being serious. No lying right here. That's how I see it.

Lisa Ok! I'll think about it and then tell you.

Topanga Don't tell us. Just think and vote. That's what you can do.

Lisa Alright!

“	I don't like being put in positions where I make one bridge strong and burn the other bridge down. That's not me as a person. Lying is probably the toughest thing for me to do. Even as a librarian, I tend to keep my feelings to myself. I want to be in a scenario where I can make myself a winner. But tonight, I have to make two choices. Who do I send home? And what do I do if I get heat on me.	”

Antwerp Tribal Council

Antwerp arrives at Tribal Council where Jeff awaits them.

Jeff Well Antwerp, long time, no see! How has life been for this tribe Patrice?

Patrice It has been pretty much a smooth ride until about a few days ago. But I think overall, as a tribe, we've been getting along and we've been having some good times on rewards and with challenge wins.

Jeff Until today!

Patrice Right! Today was a tough loss. I thought we would continue to win the challenges. But it just didn't happened.

Jeff Harris, a few days ago, Xavier and Natalya went on strike and decided to sit out the challenge. The other four forfeited the challenge to you guys. Even though they won immunity today, did you get the feeling that there was a sense that it would Antwerp vs. Liege without members from Hainaut and Namur?

Harris It was a very heads up moment to say because we got a sense of what was going on in their tribe. I think we were expecting them to vote out the weaker players. But, after Angie and Rick got voted out, that's when Carmen and I started to fear that there was a bounty on the outside alliance.

Jeff Carmen, does hearing that make you wonder whether the original Antwerp is trustworthy to you or not?

Carmen Sometimes I do fear that our game is over if we lose. But the only reason why it never comes to be is because we continue to win these challenges. I think we were just good enough to not even think about alliances until today.

Topanga If I can say that I respect Carmen's statement. Sometimes though, alliances have to be kept up even if your on winning tribes and avoiding immunity for the most part.

Jeff Sherri, how can a tribe be so calm and so united in a time of troubles and anger and perhaps paranoia?

Sherri It's very hard to keep it up Jeff because there are moments where you'll have two people butting heads and not getting along and then the next thing you'll know, you find yourself on the verge of possibly being voted out of this game.

Jeff And by what you say, you got into an argument with someone here and now you find yourself in a spot where you could be going home?

Sherri Yes!

Colin laughs.

Jeff Colin!

Colin I'm just laughing because that's probably the smartest thing she's said the entire time right here. I mean, it's crazy to think she predicts the future.

Sherri Colin, don't make me angry then before.

Jeff Sherri, what's going on with you and Colin?

Sherri Jeff, I don't have any problems with people who believe in religion. But anybody who calls me a fool or a hypocrite because of what I believe is just enough to get me going.

Colin Well that's my opinion. That's the way I see things.

Sherri No! Telling someone that a Republican is less smarter than a Democrat is an opinion. It doesn't have to be like that! But being rude and vulgar really is not an opinion.

Colin Oh come on! It's just a game here!

Sherri I have not once said anything bad about you or in this game and I don't want to start because I don't want the tribe to see me as an emotional wreck right now. I've had rough patches in my life Jeff. I admit I made mistakes. I thank God for bringing me out of my sins and for the happiness. I know that not everyone will agree with my opinions, but it's a topic that I get so emotional over and I just can't stand to be tarnished and looked down.

Jeff Colin, do you think stuff that goes on with regards to religion bothers you?

Colin I got no problem with it.

Daryl But you did say something rude? You called her a hypocrite!

Colin Who asked for your opinion farm boy?

Daryl You live on the farms too down in Mississippi.

Colin Whatever! If I have an opinion, I'm not afraid to express this. It's totally insane. I don't look at myself as an atheist or what have you. I just think it's weird for people like her to do the stuff that she does.

Jeff Patrice, does religion have to be a big part in this game?

Patrice I respect Sherri for expressing her opinions even if others don't agree with it. I will say that religion is a complicated issue here. I think there are Survivor players who are religious or they believe in a God. They just don't want to admit to it because of the game they're playing in. I know when you lie here, it's a tough thing to do because you never lie for it's a sin. Sometimes, you have to put your principals aside for 1% of your life because the other 99% of your life is more important.

Jeff Topanga, it's clear on Liege that there was a division their. Do you think that if you were to vote out either Sherri or Colin, assuming that's the case, that the other tribe will think your copying them.

Topanga I don't look at this as Antwerp vs. the Outsiders. I look at this as making a vote that will be helpful to me and my game. I think everyone here can agree that we're not trying to self-destruct here. We feel that this game is not over until we say it is. Or better yet, I don't think Antwerp wants to play original all the way to the end. So whatever happens tonight will happen for the right reason.

Jeff Daryl, do you express any sympathy for the actions tonight?

Daryl I see myself as more along the lines of both. I'm a county boy like Colin. But I also express the same beliefs like Sherri. So, this vote is a tough one.

Jeff Ok! It is now time for the vote. Let's get to it. Patrice, you're up!

Patrice gets up and goes to the voting booth. She returns to her seat after her vote as one by one, everyone goes to the booth and takes turns. Sherri votes for Colin and reveals it.
