Personal Claim to Fame: I was about 20 at my local ice rink watching this one guy bock pucks from getting in the goal. After beating a couple people, he turned to the people watching and challenged any of them to get a shot past him. When it looked like no one would volunteer, I said I would try. That got a laugh out of him and he told me how easy it would be to block my shots. Well little did he know I had been on my high school's hockey team and I was one of the best players on the team. So I put on my skates, grabbed a stick and a puck, and then proceeded to send a puck flying right past him into the goal. After saying it was a lucky shot, I then proceeded to send a puck past him five more times. His mouth was hanging off his jaw so much after that I thought it would fall off. Everyone around the rink then started applauding me and the guy even shook my hand and said I was a good player. Not only that, but the guy asked me out and pretty soon, me and him were married.
Inspiration in Life: My husband Rick. He never gives up on anything and whenever he's beaten, he takes it as a learning experience and uses it to help him improve. He's also one of the sweetest and most loyal people in the world. We've been married for almost ten years and our love for each other is still as strong as when we went on that first date.
Hobbies: Playing hockey with my husband, snuggling by a fire with some hot chocolate, playing a guitar or piano, and going out to socialize with friends and family
Pet Peeves: Cockiness. Period. No one is as good as they think they are and it pisses me off to no end. I don't care if you believe that you're good at what you do, hat doesn't bother me. It's when someone flaunts it and rubs it in other people's faces that it pisses me off to no end. We don't need to hear how good you are at what you do, and I'm not afraid to tell put someone in their place.
Three words to Describe You: Competitive, Strong-willed, Empathetic
SURVIVOR contestant you are most like: I'd say I'm a lot like Jasmine Neely. Neither of us like dealing with those who are arrogant and rude and just like her, I'm not afraid to bring them down a peg or two. We're also both very social creatures and like her, I want to relate with others and I'm willing to hear people out if they want to speak their mind.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: The money of course! (laughs) I mean who isn't here for a million dollars? It's a lot of money that could help me out tremendously. Especially since me and Rick are looking to start a family soon and I think the money would help us start that.
Why you think you'll "survive" SURVIVOR: I'm going to give it my all so that I can show my usefulness to my tribe and have them keep me around, and I'll use my social skills to help me gain and keep allies; and if I ever find myself on the bottom, I will fight my ass off to make sure I stay in this game.
Why you think you'll be the SOLE SURVIVOR: Like I mentioned earlier, I'm going to use my social skills to gather myself allies that will help further my game and while I gather these allies, I will consider every option that comes to mind and make decisions based on what is best for my game. I'll work hard to show my worth to my tribe, but not so much that someone will see me as a threat to their game. I'll make sure that at the end, the Jury will see that I have Outwitted, Outlasted and ESPECIALLY Outplayed and that I deserve the million dollar check.
