Day 1[]
Introduction[]
The season starts with an overhead view of Long Bay on the island of Barbados. As the camera zoomed closer to the ground, you could see host Jeff Probst standing in the sand.
Jeff pointed to two speedboats, each carrying ten castaways through the ocean. One boat was blue, while the other was yellow. The boats reached the shore, and all twenty castaways got up and walked onto the mat that matched the color of their boat.
"Well everyone, welcome to... Survivor: Barbados!" Jeff yelled, causing everyone to enthusiastically clap and cheer.
"Girl in the purple tank top." Jeff said, pointing to a girl on the blue mat. "What's your name?"
"Maya!" She responded.
"Maya, have you taken a look at your tribemates? Does it look like a good team?" Jeff asked.
"It looks really good. We have some guys who look really strong, and hopefully some other people who will contribute just as much. I think we'll do pretty well." Maya said. "Only one way to find out, I guess!"
Jeff pointed to another person, again on the blue mat.
"Guy in the glasses." Jeff said.
"I- I'm Carson!" The twenty-year old quickly responded.
"How does it feel to be on Survivor?" Jeff asked him.
"I mean, there's not even really an adjective in the dictionary that describes it, Jeff. I still can't believe it. It's just crazy." Carson answered.
"Older woman in the back." Jeff said, now pointing toward the yellow tribe.
"Who are you calling old, Jeff?" The woman laughed. "Name's Brenda."
"Brenda, I've noticed you look particularly excited. Is this exciting for you, to be here on Survivor?" Jeff asked.
"It's gonna be a hoot!" Brenda yelled. "I've been watching this show for about as long as some of these people have been alive. I'm very excited."
A man wearing a collared shirt, a tan-colored hat, and somewhat thick glasses looked at Brenda with a mixed reaction.
"All right, so let's get down to it. This season, the tribes are named after two people who are a huge part in Barbados culture - two historic people who helped discover and found Barbados. Those of you on the blue mat, you will be the Campos tribe!"
The new Campos tribe jumped up and down, high-fiving each other. Jeff tossed a buff to each of them.
"Those of you on the yellow mat, you guys are the Powell tribe!" Jeff told them, tossing yellow buffs to them.
"Our tribe name is Powell... it kinda sounds like power. I dunno, maybe it will be a lucky charm of some sort? Who knows."

ONLINE BLOGGER |
Well, I'm sure you guys are eager to get to your first challenge. What you might not realize is that your first challenge... is about to begin right now." Jeff told them.
Everyone gasped in response. Some were excited, while others were a bit scared.
"Oh wow." Jordan said, clearly shocked. "Didn't see that coming."
"For this challenge, each tribe will select one man and one woman to work their way through an obstacle course and grab two bags of puzzle pieces. Once the bags have been grabbed, the two tribe members will then head back through the obstacle course to the other side, where they will have to complete a jigsaw puzzle. First tribe to complete the puzzle wins reward. Wanna know what you're playing for?" Jeff asked.
Everyone nodded in response.
"The tribe who wins this challenge will have a big advantage right out of the gate. You will receive an extra bag of rice, an extra bag of beans, a large fishing kit, and fire in the form of flint." Jeff told them. "Everything you need to make camp life a little better than the other guys."
"That's a really good reward." Jessica whispered to Scott, who nodded in agreement.
"I'll give you guys a minute to select one guy and one girl, and then we'll get started." Jeff grinned.
Both tribes quickly huddled together and whispered with each other, trying to make a quick decision. The camera now fast-forwarded to the challenge, with each tribe's representatives standing on the starting mat.
"All right," Jeff said. "For Campos, we have..."
"Micah." The twenty-seven year old event planner responded.
"And Sarita." The thirty-seven year old added.
"Micah and Sarita. For Powell, we've got..." Jeff pointed to the first member.
"Jaylen." The twenty-four year old grinned.
"And my name's London." Another twenty-four year old stated.
"Micah and Sarita against Jaylen and London. Playing for reward. Survivors ready!? GO!" Jeff yelled.
Reward Challenge #1 | |
---|---|
Tribe | Obstacle Course |
Campos | Micah, Sarita |
Powell | Jaylen, London |
- Both tribes ran immediately. The first obstacle was a large pyramid-shaped obstacle. Both tribes had to climb a cargo net and then once they reached down, they had to climb down the other side. Micah and Sarita took an early lead, while Jaylen and London were trailing just a little bit.
- Micah and Sarita reached the second obstacle, which was a large metal bar in the sand. Both tribes had to dig underneath the bar and slide themselves underneath. Micah and Sarita started furiously digging, and shortly after, Jaylen and London started digging as well.
- Micah and Sarita got underneath the bar and got to the final obstacle, which was the monkey bars. Sarita was first to go, quickly moving from one to the next. Jaylen and London reached the monkey bars shortly after, and Jaylen decided to go first.
- Sarita finished the monkey bars, and now it was Micah's turn. Micah hopped onto the bars, trying to be careful not to fall off.
- Jaylen finished the bars now, and London began racing across. Micah tried to widen the gap, but he did the exact opposite by falling off into the sand.
- London finished the monkey bars. Jaylen and London grabbed the puzzle bags and now Jaylen went across the monkey bars for the second time.
- Micah finally finished the monkey bars, and he and Sarita grabbed their puzzle bags. It was now Micah versus London going across the bars.
- London finished the bars at the same time as Micah. Jaylen and London ran back to the bar obstacle, while Micah still had to wait for Sarita before he could move on.
- Jaylen and London were now on the pyramid obstacle. They got over it, and now moved onto the puzzle.
- Micah and Sarita got under the bar, and they now moved to the pyramid.
- Jaylen and London unloaded their pieces, and now worked on fitting together the pieces. Micah and Sarita got over the pyramid, and now they were unloading the pieces.
- Micah and Sarita unloaded their pieces. Jaylen and London had a few pieces together, but were now stuck and confused. Micah and Sarita now took the lead for the first time in a while.
- Micah and Sarita continued to connect pieces, while Jaylen and London continued to struggle. The winner of the challenge was...
"CAMPOS WINS REWARD!" Jeff exclaimed, causing Micah and Sarita to hug each other in celebration. The entire tribe then ran over and joined them. Jaylen shook his head in frustration.
"Campos, big win for you guys right out of the gate. Your rewards will be delivered to your camp, and should be there by the time you arrive." Jeff told them. Campos cheered once more, congratulating Micah and Sarita for their hard work.
"Powell, got nothin' for ya." Jeff said. "Head to your new home."
Both tribes got into speedboats headed towards their new home.
Campos Tribe[]
The blue tribe cheered and looked in awe as they arrived at their new camp.
"It's so gorgeous!" Maya yelled, pointing to the waves as they brushed up against the sand.
"Absolutely gorgeous." Micah agreed.
One by one, the ten castaways exited the boat and walked along the beach.
"We should all like, sit down, and introduce ourselves!" Maya told everyone.
"I think that's a great idea!" Jessica agreed. "Let's find a spot on the beach."
"So who wants to start?" Jessica asked.
"I'll go first," Jordan stated. "My name's Jordan, and I'm an injury lawyer from Miami, Florida."
"Umm, I'm Alex, and I'm a bartender from Nevada." Alex chimed in.
"I'm Nadine, and I'm a waitress from California." Nadine told everyone.
"My name's Bethany, and I'm an art major from Massachusetts." Bethany told everyone. "I just recently graduated actually."
"Congratulations!" Everyone high-fived Bethany.
"Er- I'm Carson, from umm, New York." Carson nervously said.
"I'm Maya, and I'm a cheerleader from California." Maya added.
"My name is Sarita, and I am a former Russian olympian." Sarita told them.
"Whoa, for real?" Jordan asked.
"Yes," Sarita laughed. "For real."
"Wow." Maya said. "That puts me to shame a little bit!"
Everyone laughed.
"I'm Scott, and I'm a retired coach in the NFL." Scott told everyone.
"I thought I knew you from somewhere!" Maya told him. "That's awesome."
"I'm Micah, and I help, like, to organize community events and stuff." Micah said.
"And I guess that saves me for last. I'm Jessica from Oregon." Jessica explained. "Really nice to meet you guys. Let's get to work!"
Everyone nodded in agreement. They split up and begun work on the camp.
Powell Tribe[]
Over at the Powell tribe, everyone was hard at work as well. Fabian and Jaylen could be seen carrying pieces of tree over to the beach, where they were preparing a shelter.
"A little to the left... and perfect!" Jaylen yelled.
"Looks like it's coming across nicely." Fabian said.
"Mm hmm." Jaylen nodded in agreement.
"So what do you think so far? About the game?" Fabian asked.
"I think it's going well! Sorry about the challenge." Jaylen said.
"No problem, dude. I mean, I appreciate the fact that you were willing to stand up and volunteer yourself." Fabian replied.
Jaylen smiled.
"Thanks." Jaylen said.
Meanwhile, on the other side of the Powell camp, Leonard and Kayla were getting water by the well.
"So you're a professor?" Kayla asked.
"Yes! I teach english mostly. It's very fun, I enjoy working with new students." Leonard told her. "What about you?"
"I actually write blogs online." Kayla said. "Usually related to the gender pay gap and other similar issues in today's economy."
"Nice!" Leonard nodded.
Elsewhere, Brenda, London and Shonda were walking through the jungle.
"Girls, I'm so excited to play this game." Brenda said. "Is anyone behind us?"
"No." London responded.
"I just want to put it out there, like, I get a really good vibe from all of you girls." Brenda said.
"I get that too." Shonda nodded. "Like, both of you seem really nice."
"Mm hmm." Brenda nodded. "So like, I think we could get the other two girls, and then like..."
"That's half the tribe." Shonda said. "I like that. I like that a lot."
"All right, then, to girl power!" Brenda said, putting her hand in. Shonda and London quickly echoed her, and the three girls threw all of their hands in the air.
"So excited, you guys. So excited." Shonda said. "We need, like, a cool name."
"Femme Fatale." Brenda said.
"I love it." London nodded.
"To Femme Fatale!" Shonda said happily.
Campos Tribe[]
Campos could be seen working together on constructing a solid shelter.
"This is really good. Keep it up." Jordan said, congratulating his tribe as Alex and Scott started to build a bit of a ceiling for everyone.
"I need to grab more wood for the shelter." Scott replied. He leaped off of the top of the shelter into the sand. "I'll be right back."
"I'll come with you." Jessica told him.
"I like this tribe so far." Jessica told Scott.
"I do too." Scott said. "It seems like a good group of people."
"Yep." Jessica said. "We have to watch out though, being the oldest. Because it would be so easy for the young people to just pick off the old people one by one."
"Absolutely, yeah." Scott said. "I think we have to look out for each other in this game. One hundred percent."
"Sounds like a deal to me." Jessica said.
Jessica could now be seen talking with Nadine by the well.
"I just get a really good vibe from you. I don't know why, but I feel some sort of connection. I would absolutely love for the two of us to work together." Jessica mentioned.
"I like the idea of that." Nadine nodded.
Now, Jessica could be seen chatting with Bethany in the water.
"I can't really explain it, but maybe we were like, meant to play this game with one another." Jessica said.
"You think so?" Bethany asked.
"Maybe." Jessica shrugged.
"I like the idea of it." Bethany said.
Bethany and Maya could now be seen sitting in the shelter.
"So Jessica is making me really uncomfortable." Bethany said.
"What do you mean?" Maya asked.
"She's rubbing a lot of people the wrong way." Bethany replied. "Like she's been talking strategy and alliances with people already. And it's like, it's only day one."
"That's shady..." Maya nodded.
"Yeah." Bethany said. "Just thought I'd let you know."
"Yeah." Maya said. "Thanks."
Powell Tribe[]
Brenda, Kayla, Shonda, Toni and London were all together in the water.
"So while the guys aren't here, I just wanted to have a little bit of gossiping time between the five of us," Brenda said. "I really do get a good feeling from the four of you. So I wanted to propose a Femme Fatale alliance."
"Like, all five of us girls?" Toni asked.
"Mm hmm." Brenda nodded. "Just to get us through the first few votes. As long as all five of us are in this thing together, I mean, we'd be virtually unstoppable."
"This is honestly a dream come true." Kayla said. "Like, I will love and cherish this alliance until the day I die. I just love it so much."
"Do you think we would be able to convince the guys to get rid of another guy first?" Toni asked.
"I think we could." Brenda said.
"We could try to push for Victor." Kayla said.
"Victor has literally done nothing around camp since we got here." Shonda said.
"Exactly." Kayla said. "So I think we could push to vote him out. As long as they don't catch onto the fact that they'd be putting themselves into a gender minority, I think we'd be able to take him out."
"Brilliant." Brenda nodded. "Femme Fatale can run this game, you guys."
"I love it." Shonda agreed.
Night 1[]
Campos Tribe[]
It was the first night on the beach, and five castaways could be seen sitting by the campfire, talking and laughing. It was Jordan, Alex, Maya, Sarita and Bethany.
"So you were in the olympics? Tell us about that! Were you in the U.S. when you were in the olympics?" Maya asked.
"I actually was born in Russia, but I moved to Ukraine when I was about ten." Sarita responded. "So I was actually on the Ukraine women's team for the 100 meters and the 110 meters hurdle events."
"Oh wow." Maya said. "That had to be so fun."
"It was." Sarita nodded. "I made lots of companions and friendships that will last for a lifetime."
"That's amazing." Jordan said. Sarita nodded in response.
"It has to be tough, coming from Russia to Ukraine, and then coming over here." Bethany said. "Like, just the cultural transition, it's gotta be crazy."
"It takes a while to get used to some things. There's a lot of little changes, like the currency and the metric system, so it takes a while to get used to that," Sarita said. "But everyone that I've met in this country has been very nice, and very supportive of me. It could've ended up much, much worse."
"That's good!" Bethany said. Sarita smiled in agreement.
"So obviously, I don't want to rush into things too quickly." Jordan told everyone. "But I think the five of us would make a really solid alliance."
"Between the five of us?" Alex asked.
"Yeah." Jordan nodded. "I think that as long as we just all stay true to our word, we could really ride this out."
"I'm down with that." Maya said. "We need a cool name though."
"Well, there's five of us." Bethany said. "We could be like the Faithful Five. It's kinda cheesy but it'll work."
"I like it." Alex nodded.
Day 2[]
Powell Tribe[]
The camera showed off the tribe beach, where Fabian and Gabriel were attempting to get a fire started. The entire tribe (minus Victor) was hovering around the two, hoping the guys could get a bit of a flame going.
"Come on..." Gabriel said, furiously trying to get something to happen.
"Any luck?" Shonda asked.
"No..." Gabriel responded.
"You guys will get it. Maybe we need more sticks and stuff?" London asked. "We can go look for them if you want."
"It's worth a shot." Fabian said. "The three of us can go look."
"I'm good with that." Gabriel said. He, Fabian and London wandered into the forest.
"Those sticks look pretty good, we could probably carry those back?" Fabian asked, pointing to a large pile of sticks laying in the grass.
"Sounds good." Gabriel nodded.
The three began carrying some wood and sticks back towards camp.
"Be careful with it." Fabian said. "You don't want to get hurt."
"So what do you guys think of the game so far?" Fabian asked Gabriel and London. "Really loving this tribe, it's great."
"Yeah, same here." London said. She smiled, but on the inside, the strategy wheels were turning and she was thinking about her next move.
Meanwhile, on the other side of camp, Victor was in the ocean trying to catch fish. Wielding a machete, the bouncer walked around the beach, looking for any animal to snatch and eat.
"Here, fishy fishy..." Victor said, sneaking through the ocean.
"What are you up to, Vic?" Shonda asked.
"I saw online that you can actually use a machete to catch fish. So I'm wandering around trying to find some." Victor replied.
"How long have you been out here?" Shonda asked.
"Four or five hours, give or take." Victor told her.
"Wait, for real?" Shonda asked.
"Yeah." Victor nodded. "It's strenuous, hard work, but I'm willing to make that sacrifice for the tribe."
"Well, did you find anything?" Shonda asked.
"Nope." Victor answered.
"...Oh." Shonda said.
"Well, just let me know if you catch something!" Shonda said.
"Will do!" Victor told her.
Campos Tribe[]
Maya and Scott were helping set up the shelter, laying bamboo in the shelter to sleep on.
"So wait, Scott, you said you're a former NFL coach, right? That's got to be so cool." Maya observed.
"It was so much fun. I absolutely loved getting to know the players. Everyone on TV, they see the players as players, but they don't get to see the players as real people." Scott said. "That's what I loved about it."
Scott, Nadine and Micah could now be seen tending to the fire.
"We need a little more firewood." Nadine said.
"I'll grab it." Scott offered.
While Scott was away, Nadine and Micah could be seen talking.
"I'm glad we have Scott on our tribe. He's so helpful." Nadine said.
"Agreed." Micah nodded.
Now, Scott could be seen walking through the forest. He waved to Jessica.
Jessica and Scott were sitting at the beach talking strategy with one another.
"What do we want to do if we end up losing the challenge?" Scott asked.
"I think we're in a good spot right now, but we don't want to overplay and throw too many names out." Jessica said. "So I think we just go with the flow and follow along." Jessica said.
"Okay. That works for me." Scott said.
Jessica and Micah could now be seen talking by the beach.
"I think we could really work together." Jessica said. "We just have to make sure we can get past this first vote. Who would you want to vote out if we lost?"
"I don't really know, it's pretty early for that kind of discussion." Micah said.
"Well, just know that I have your back." Jessica told him.
"Thanks." Micah said.
Day 3[]
Powell Tribe[]
It was early morning on the Powell beach. Fabian, Gabriel, Jaylen and London were all relaxing by the beach. They were taking turns throwing rocks into the water and watching them skip across the waves.
"I am not good at this." Gabriel said.
"It's all in the wrist." London said. "What sports do you play?"
"Umm..." Gabriel thought for a second. "I mean, I play miniature golf sometimes."
Everyone laughed, including Gabriel.
"We need like an alliance name, guys." Gabriel said. "Something for just for the four of us."
"We could be like the Battalion." Fabian said.
"I like that!" Gabriel said.
"Battalion it is." Jaylen said.
"It's a good name." London nodded.
The four members all fist-bumped one another. London was slightly worried as she fist-bumped the other guys.
"So if we go to tribal, have you guys heard any names?" Gabriel asked.
"I think Victor would be the easiest choice." Jaylen said.
The camera cut to Victor sitting by the fire, burping loudly.
"I'd be good with that." London said. "I don't think anyone would stick their necks out for him. It could be an easy vote."
Immunity Challenge[]
"Come on in guys!" Jeff Probst yelled. One by one, the castaways came in and stepped onto their respective mats.
"Are you guys ready for your first immunity challenge of the season?" Jeff asked. Everyone nodded in agreement.
"For today's challenge, eight of you will hop into a boat and paddle out to sea, grabbing three bags from three marked buoys. You will then bring the bags back to the other two members of your tribe, who will untie the bags, and use the small sandbags inside to knock wooden blocks off of a table. First tribe to knock off all fifty of their blocks wins immunity. Losing tribe will have a date with me at tribal council, where someone will become the first person voted out of Survivor: Barbados." Jeff told them. "I'll give you a minute to strategize, and then we'll get started."
- The challenge began, and both tribes raced immediately into their boats and started paddling. Right away, Campos took a bit of a lead as they paddled in unison. Powell's boat, on the other hand, was drifting in all different directions, and nothing was happening correctly.
- Campos got out deep into the ocean and headed for their first buoy. Powell was still trying to get their act together. Fabian and Jaylen, who could only watch their tribe struggle, looked disheartened.
- As Powell finally got out into sea, Campos had just reached their first buoy and grabbed the first bag.
- Campos paddled to their second buoy, and reached it just as Powell reached their first. The challenge continued to be uneven as Campos approached their third and final buoy.
- Campos picked up their third buoy, and Powell hadn't even reached their second. Victor could now be seen yelling at his tribe to hurry up. Shonda was seen rolling his eyes in response.
- Campos got back to shore, and Micah and Scott started throwing sandbags. Right away, they knocked off ten blocks from their stand.
- Powell got to their second buoy, and began heading to their third.
- Micah tossed, knocking six more blocks off of the table.
- Powell could now be seen at their third buoy.
- Scott and Micah both knocked four blocks off each, meaning that only twenty-six blocks remained.
- Powell arrived at shore, and both Fabian and Jaylen raced to untie the bags. Meanwhile, Scott knocked nine more blocks off of his tribe's table.
- Jaylen started throwing, and he knocked seven blocks off of his table. Campos now had seventeen blocks left compared to Powell's forty-three.
- Micah knocked five blocks off for Campos, while Jaylen knocked off ten more.
- Scott knocked off six more blocks, while Jaylen knocked off three. Campos had just six blocks left, while Powell still had thirty.
- Fabian had a huge toss, knocking eleven blocks off for Powell. Scott knocked off two more, meaning Campos had just four to go.
- Micah knocked one more block off his table; now, Campos had just three more.
- Fabian knocked off six more blocks. Powell now had thirteen blocks left.
- Scott knocked two more blocks off. Campos had just one block left.
- Scott knocked the final block off, meaning that the winner of the challenge was...
"CAMPOS WINS IMMUNITY!" Jeff yelled. Micah and Scott hugged each other, and the rest of the tribe quickly joined in.
On the other hand, Victor stomped on the ground and cursed in frustration.
"[expletive] stupid..." Victor said, shaking his head.
"Campos, tribal immunity is yours. Nobody from your tribe going home tonight." Jeff told them, smiling.
"Powell, unfortunately, you guys will be meeting me at tribal council, where someone will become the first person voted out of Survivor: Barbados. Head back to camp, see you tonight at tribal."
As Powell could be seen gloomily walking away, Victor could be seen in his confessional.
Campos Tribe[]
After their victory, Campos walked into camp with smiles and joy all over their faces.
"Great job, you guys!" Bethany said. "Two challenges in a row!"
"Yeah, we're killing it." Maya said.
Maya could be seen wandering into the woods. Looking around, she realized she was in the clear, and she begun looking for the idol.
Maya approached a large oak tree, and she immediately began to investigate it.
"Maybe it's around here..." Maya said.
While Maya was looking for anything, Jessica approached her from behind.
Jessica could now be seen turning her eyes away from Maya and towards a small and neatly packaged-up advantage.
While Maya was up in the tree and not looking in Jessica's direction, Jessica snuck up around the tree and grabbed the mysterious advantage. Jessica then quickly darted away before Maya could see her.
Hiding in the woods, with no one in sight, Jessica unwrapped her advantage and read it aloud.
"Oh my gosh..." Jessica said, covering her mouth. "Congratulations, you have found a clue to the location of the hidden immunity idol. Attached to this clue is a picture of where you can find the idol."
Jessica unwrapped the drawing and studied it. It showed a certain spot on the beach.
"Perfect." Jessica said, enthusiastically smiling.
Powell Tribe[]
The camera transitioned from the Campos members celebrating to the Powell tribe, which was dreadfully sitting around, anticipating tribal council. The camera now transitioned to Victor, who was lying around in the sand, yawning.
"Guys!" Victor yelled. "I'd like to have a tribe meeting, if that's okay."
No one listened to him, so Victor grabbed two pots and started banging them together.
"TRIBE MEETING!" Victor yelled.
"Jesus..." Shonda said, covering her ears. She, along with everyone else on the tribe, gathered on the beach with Victor.
"So I gathered you guys here, because we need to talk about this challenge performance. It was absolutely pathetic, to say the least." Victor told them.
"Well-" Toni began.
"I'm not done yet," Victor cut her off, causing Toni to roll her eyes. "Now I mean this in the nicest way possible, but you girls were completely the reason we lost. I'm not sure if any of you have ever even paddled a boat before, let alone even entered the water before. You all looked like a bunch of kids learning how to ride a tricycle. That's why I think it's only fair to vote off one of you girls tonight. I don't care which one of you it is, but it needs to be one of you."
Everyone on Powell looked at one another in pure disbelief.
Brenda, London and Kayla could now be seen by the water well talking strategy.
"Tonight should be pretty easy." Kayla said.
"Yeah." London said. "Honestly, I cannot stand Victor. Good riddance."
"Mm hmm." Kayla said. "And once he's gone, we can just pick off Fabian, Gabriel and Jaylen one by one."
"I think that's a great idea." Brenda said.
"Yeah, I do too." Kayla nodded. "We can absolutely make this happen if we want it to."
"I'm all for it." London said.
"So we're all good to vote Victor?" London asked.
"I believe so." Brenda said. "It seems like an easy choice, wouldn't you say?"
"Absolutely." London said.
London and Fabian were talking on the beach.
"So I need to tell you something." London told Fabian. "Kayla told me by the well that after we vote out Victor, she's setting her eyes on you, Gabe and Jaylen."
"[expletive]. No way." Fabian said, covering his mouth.
"Yeah." London told him.
"[expletive]." Fabian shook his head. "She said this to you just now by the well?"
"Yeah." London nodded.
"What do we do?" Fabian asked.
"I don't know, that's what I'm trying to ask you." London said.
"I think Gabriel and Jaylen need to know about this." Fabian said.
Fabian and London approached Gabriel and Jaylen. The four of them hopped onto the bed in the shelter and quickly started talking.
"We don't have a lot of time, but we gotta talk." Fabian told them. "I think there's a snake in this tribe. Kayla is plotting to get us out the next time we lose a challenge."
"Holy cow." Gabriel said. "That's not good. Who all would be in on this?"
"It would be Brenda, Toni, Kayla and Shonda." London said.
"Which one of the girls do you all think is the most dangerous?" Jaylen asked.
"I think Kayla is the most dangerous." London said. "She's a feminist blogger, like, she's all in for this girl power stuff."
"And so if we can cut the head off of the snake right now, their whole little kingdom will come crashing down." Jaylen responded.
"Yeah. So if we were to vote for Kayla tonight, we would still need two more votes." Gabriel said.
"It's gotta be Victor and Leonard, right?" Fabian said.
"There's no way any of the other girls are flipping on Kayla." London said. "So we have to convince Victor and Leonard to vote with us."
"That's the plan then." Jaylen said.
As the sky turned darker and darker overhead, Fabian and Jaylen could now be seen talking with Victor.
"What's the plan? We're doing one of the girls, right?" Victor asked.
"I think we're going to blindside Kayla tonight." Fabian responded.
"Okay." Victor nodded. "I'm fine with that.
"Cool." Fabian said, fist-bumping Victor and Jaylen.
Now, Fabian could be seen talking with Leonard.
"What are we doing tonight?" Leonard asked. "We're doing Victor, right?"
"We need to keep this very, very under wraps but... I think Kayla needs to go tonight." Fabian said.
Leonard's jaw dropped.
"Really?" Leonard asked, surprised.
"Yeah." Fabian nodded.
"Why are we not going after Victor though?" Leonard asked. "Like, why would we leave him in the game, he's a horrible person."
"Because we can't wait to make a move." Fabian explained. "If we wait too long, they will vote us all out one by one."
Leonard nodded.
"I- I think Victor needs to go first though." Leonard said. "I don't think we should vote off Kayla. Not right now. The timing just isn't right for this to happen."
"I just don't see why we're voting off someone who's not Victor." Leonard said.
Fabian, trying to think of a way to persuade Leonard, came up with a lie on the spot.
"Look... Kayla is playing this whole tribe. She told me that after Victor gets voted out, she and her alliance are going after you." Fabian said, trying to keep a straight face.
"Oh my god." Leonard said, his mouth hanging open.
"Yeah." Fabian said. "That's why we have to vote her out now."
"I mean, I'm fine with it. Are the numbers there?" Leonard asked.
"I think we can make them there." Fabian said.
"Okay." Leonard nodded.
The english professor could now be seen crying a little in his confessionals. He was wiping his eyes, but it was hard to hold all of the tears back.
Now, as the sun began to set, London and Brenda were talking over their plan.
"So we're all set to go for Victor?" Brenda asked.
"Yes," London nodded. "It should be easy, at least as easy as things can be in this game."
"Good to hear." Brenda nodded. "I really like our little group."
"I do as well." London said.
London and Leonard could now be seen strategizing in the woods.
"Okay, what is the vote tonight?" Leonard asked.
"I don't know, I think it's looking like four votes for Victor and four votes for Kayla, not including us." London said.
"Then whoever we vote for would go home." Leonard said.
"Yeah." London said.
"I think we need to keep it easy and vote out Victor." Leonard said. "It's the simplest thing to do."
"I don't know... I'm really torn." London said.
"Well, we have to make a choice within the next five minutes." Leonard said.
"Yeah..." London said, biting her lip.
The ten members of Powell grabbed torches and headed off to tribal.
As they walked to tribal, there was a distinct, noticeable pattern. Brenda, Shonda, Toni and Kayla were all walking together, while Fabian, Gabriel and Jaylen were all bundled together as well.
Tribal Council[]
Jeff Probst could be seen eyeing the contestants as one by one, the members of Powell walked into tribal council for the very first time.
"Behind each of you is a torch, go ahead and grab one, approach the flame, dip it in, and get fire. This is part of the ritual of Tribal Council because in this game, fire represents your life. As long as you have fire, you're still in the game. Once your fire is gone, so are you, and that will be the case for one of you here tonight." Jeff told them. Everyone completed his instructions and sat down.
"All right, first tribal council of the season, always exciting. Jaylen, what was the feeling when you first got to Barbados on day one of this game?" Jeff asked.
"Honestly, Jeff, it was pure excitement. I have wanted to play this game for a long time, so to get that opportunity, it's just, there's not even words for it." Jaylen responded.
"London, it was you and Jaylen on the initial reward challenge. You both tried your hardest and yet you couldn't get it done. Did that put a bit of a damper on the beginning of this game?" Jeff asked.
"Obviously I was sad that I let the team down, but I don't think we let the early loss put a damper on us," London responded. "I think we were all so happy to be here playing this game together, and so that ultimately outshined everything else."
"All right, so you guys all seemed to settle in pretty well. Brenda, do you think that alliances have already begun to form within the tribe?" Jeff asked.
"I don't know if I would say alliances have formed, but there's people that I have clicked very well with, and so those people would be the people I would be the most likely to vote with in the future." Brenda responded.
"Fabian, would you say you agree with Brenda?" Jeff asked.
Fabian nodded in response.
"Yeah. Yeah, I would agree with that." Fabian said, continuing to nod.
"So let's fast forward a bit to the challenge today. Victor, I could see frustration all over your face when I announced that Campos won immunity," Jeff said. "Am I incorrect when I say that you were very upset?"
"You would be absolutely correct," Victor agreed. "What frustrated me is that we had three guys who all appeared to know what they were doing, and then five girls who looked about as clumsy as a group of drunk baboons."
Toni rolled her eyes.
"Toni, I saw an eye roll." Jeff said.
"Drunk baboons? Come on now. This was a team challenge, and I think it's unfair to put all of the blame on us girls just because some of us are physically weaker." Toni said.
"Shonda-" Jeff began.
"Can I say something?" Victor interrupted.
Jeff outstretched his arms.
"The floor is yours." Jeff told him.
"I don't see how blaming the weak people is unfair." Victor said. "This is a game that is based off of winning challenges. You girls were all weak, and we lost the challenge. So how is it not fair, how is not logical, to vote one of you out? How is it-"
"Because we're not weak, Victor," Kayla said. "We all tried our best, and I think that heart-"
"Don't interrupt me." Victor said.
"But you just-" Kayla began again.
"What part of 'don't interrupt me' did you not interpret?" Victor asked. "Anyway, Jeff, you're the question asker, so why don't you ask something else?"
"So, Gabriel-" Jeff began.
"You know what, Kayla?" Victor said, cutting off Jeff once again. This caused Fabian, Toni, Leonard, Gabriel and Shonda to all start smiling and shaking their heads in disbelief. Even Jeff couldn't hold back a bit of a smile.
"You talk about how the girls are so strong, and yet how many times have you girls gone fishing?" Victor asked.
"Victor, how many fish have you caught since the game started?" Kayla asked.
"That wasn't the question." Victor shot back.
Shonda and Toni shot each other looks.
For a minute, the entire tribe just sat there silently. All of a sudden, breaking the silence, Leonard got up and whispered in London's ear. The two started talking quietly. The entire tribe had their eyes turned toward the two of them.
"Yes." London said.
"Okay." Leonard said, going back to his seat.
"What the [expletive]..." Kayla said. She stood up, walked over to Leonard, and the two of them started whispering to each other.
"Wow." Jeff Probst said, his hand over his mouth. Kayla and Leonard both looked at each other and nodded, and shortly after, Kayla returned to her seat.
"Gabriel, what's your reaction to seeing all this whispering and chit-chat?" Jeff asked.
"It's a little unnerving. I just have to put trust in everyone and hope everything works out." Gabriel said, gulping nervously.
"All right, well, it is time to vote." Jeff said. "Brenda, you're up first."
Brenda walked up to the voting booth and wrote on her parchment. Her vote was not shown.
Jaylen was next. His vote was not revealed either.
Gabriel walked up and wrote a name down. His vote, like the two before, remained a secret.
Toni was the next person up, and her vote was kept a surprise.
Shonda was the fifth to vote. She wrote down Victor's name in big, capital letters.
"Didn't your mom teach you any matters? Actually, I'm guessing not. Goodbye." (winks)

(VOTING FOR VICTOR) |
Fabian was up next. He sighed, grabbed the pen, and voted. His vote was not revealed.
London was next. Her vote was not shown either.
Kayla was the eighth person voting. She wrote down Victor's name and held it up.
You're rude, sexist, and I just can't stand you. Maybe you should read a book on how to actually talk to people. Thanks for making this vote an easy one.

(VOTING FOR VICTOR) |
Victor was ninth to vote. The name he wrote down was not shown.
Lastly, Leonard walked over to the booth and wrote down a name. This name was not shown either. He dropped his parchment into the voting urn and walked back into his seat.
"I'll go tally the votes." Jeff told the tribe as he walked away to get the urn. He soon returned and placed the urn right in front of him.
"If anyone has a hidden immunity idol and would like to play it, now would be the time to do so." Jeff stated.
Everyone looked around at one another. No one stood up.
"Okay, once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll read the votes." Jeff told everyone.

KAYLA. (6-4)
"Oh my god, you guys." Kayla said. "I didn't even bring my stuff or anything, you guys!"
Kayla got up and hugged Brenda, Shonda and Toni. Leonard went to hug her as well, but Kayla walked right past him and grabbed her torch. She threw it down and placed it right in front of Jeff.
"Kayla, the tribe has spoken." Jeff told her.
"So stupid." Kayla rolled her eyes, and walked away into the distance.
"Well, that was a CRAZY first tribal council for you guys. If this tribal council is a sign of what the rest of the season will be like, well, let's just say this is going to be a wild ride. But right now, what you guys should do is start winning, so grab your torches and head back to camp." Jeff told them.
The outro music began to play and the credits began to roll as the nine contestants walked back to their camp, and the camera slowly faded out, turning to black.

Final Words[]
Next Time on Survivor...[]
After a crazy tribal council, a line appears to be drawn in the sand.
"We have the power right now." Fabian said. "Battalion, baby!"
"They're going to pick us off one by one!" Brenda yelled in her confessional, tears pouring down her eyes.
But one lie could send an entire alliance crumbling into pieces.
"He manipulated my emotions, and I don't respect that. He needs to go." Leonard furiously demanded.
And on Campos, Jessica begins the idol hunt.
"That hidden immunity idol is mine." Jessica stated in her confessional.
While the rest of the tribe begins hunting Jessica.
"It might be her time to have her torch snuffed." Jordan said.
