Challenges[]

Immunity Challenge (Day 37): Bone to Pick
The castaways must have one hand tied behind their back, and have to start off by making a hook with 3 pieces in order to hook a bag of puzzle pieces. They will then take the pieces and begin working on the lower portion of a fish skeleton. They must repeat this process for the middle and upper portions. The first castaway to finish their fish skeleton puzzle wins.
Winner: TBA

Immunity Challenge (Day 38): Hands on a Hard Idol
Keeping one hand on the Tribal Immunity Idol at all times, contestants would have to keep their balance while standing on a small log. If at any point a contestant takes their hand off the Idol, falls off the log, or raises their foot, they would be eliminated from the challenge. The final player left holding onto the Idol would win.
Winner: TBA

Story[]

Previously On Survivor[]

36 Days ago, 16 Americans set out on a journey across the Pacific Ocean and onto the beautiful beaches of Indonesia to battle the elements and each other. Right off the bat, they were separated at random into two tribes of 8, each named after a feuding dynasty in a Hindu epic. Much like the story, history repeated itself and the Kaurava tribe find themselves in a losing streak. An all guys alliance was forming however, and it proved to be effective as the first three boots from Kaurava were all female. Meanwhile, on Pandava, it was all peace and love, expect for Derek. Finding his attitude harmful, he was voted out in Pandava's only tribal council before the switch.

On Day 13, the tribes met where they were randomly assigned into new tribes. The new Kaurava tribe found strength and dominated the challenges, despite trying to throw them. Meanwhile, the new Pandava tribe was a train-wreck, losing every post-swap challenge as well as two tribe members.

When all hope seemed lost, the merge occurred on Day 19, and the game was a foot. It seemed Diane would be an easy boot, but when she won immunity, the vote was flipped on it's head, sending Bill home. After this vote, two sides seemed to form. Those who favored Lucas stay in the game, and those who favored Kat. Luck was on Kat's side as Lucas was voted out swiftly there after. However, when Kat tried to flip chaos on everyone, she was voted out, leaving her only ally, Xiu, alone in the game. At the next tribal, Xiu tried to fight, and it almost worked, but she was voted out 4-3. Trenton, then wanting to make a big move, jumped ships but it was too little too late as he was voted out in a re-vote, due to unwillingness to go to rocks. After Trenton's elimination, it seemed that Danny was a perfect spot to glide into the end. With two duos both sitting next to him, he had his choice of who to take, but when Logan won immunity, and Hailey threatened to play her idol, it seemed Danny was close to being eliminated. At tribal, Joe pulled out a fake idol and threatened to play it, wanting to shift votes to Danny, but at the end of the night, Diane was voted out in a 2-1-0 vote. Four remain, this is their story.

Logan, a 26 year old basketball player from Portland, Oregon, who hopes to prove that he has brains behind his stunning looks and physical capabilities.

In this game, you just have to be constantly on your feet. You think it could be one plan this second, but next second you have to completely change. It's kind of like basketball, we're constantly doing drills so when we get to the game, we can easily do what we need to do to win.

–Logan

With several immunity challenge wins under his belt, it seems he is set to make it to the end, but will his overwhelming status as a threat send him home?

Danny, a 33 year old movie rental clerk from Akron, Ohio, who has experienced a dramatic change in personality, coming out of his shell.

I've never really been social. I don't talk to anyone, I just say Yes Ma'am, yes sir, no sir we don't have that movie, etc. I've never really held an actual conversation for longer then a couple of seconds, so it was nice to get "coached" on how to actually be a productive member of society.

–Danny

Making several key moves as well playing independently, will Danny be able to hold out until the final tribal council?

Joe, a 28 year old market research analyst from Colorado Springs, Colorado, who has done anything in his power to make it this far.

I would totally use religion if it's to my advantage. Why not? I have a relationship with God, I'm not ashamed of that, I'm also not ashamed if someone believes that just because we both believe the same thing that I'm not going to try and beat them in this game. If you think that just because we love Jesus that I'm going to let you win a million dollars, you're crazy!

–Joe

With only three days to go though, can Joe last it out and make it to the final tribal council?

Hailey, a 26 year old paralegal from San Francisco, California, the last girl standing and the only person to play not one, but two advantages.

However, a morbid reality is slowly popping into my thoughts. I'm the only girl! It's going to be really freaking easy to vote me out because I don't have a willy!

–Hailey

However, a recent grudge against Logan might cause her to throw her whole game away for revenge, can she keep her temper in check to become the next Sole Survivor?

4 remain who will become the next Sole Survivor?

Night 36[]

Jakarta[]

The camera comes up on Danny, Hailey, Joe, and Logan walking back into camp. Hailey sets her bag down and she smiles.

To know that I'm in the final four and I'm this close to winning this game is an amazing feeling. I can't explain how it makes me feel, it's impossible. The closest I can come to is how you feel when you get your first car and you're just ready to drive it.

–Hailey

Danny sets his bag down and turns to the fire.
Danny (whispering to himself): That was insane.

I'm like on edge, we're this close to the end and last night was the craziest vote ever. I was just taken aback by the whole thing. Even now I don't know what happened. I think that Logan and Hailey split their votes between me and Diane? I mean, that's what had to have happened right? I got one vote, and Joe voted to take out Diane. That's the only thing that makes sense. Me and Joe are tight. I just can't believe he would vote for me.

–Danny

Danny comes up to Joe.
Joe (whispering): Danny, I'm sor...
Danny: Don't be. I was surprised too, I can't believe that they split their votes.
Joe (confused): Wait, what?
Danny: Yeah, I mean that's the only way it could've happened right? Hailey voted for me, Logan voted for Diane, and then you voted for Diane.
Joe's face quickly shows his thinking process.
Joe: Yeah, I mean, that's how it must have happened right?

I can't believe Danny. He thinks that I threw my vote to Diane and sent her home. I don't know what's more unbelievable, the fact that Danny thinks I voted for Diane, or that Danny thinks Hailey and Logan would be stupid enough to split their votes. I'm not going to tell him anything, maybe this can help me out. I seem to be in a really bad spot right now.

–Joe

Joe and Danny are now slowly walking back to camp as Danny talks to Joe.
Danny: We have to stick together. Next tribal, one of us is probably going to fire.

Right now, it's kind of two sides against each other. Me and Joe against Hailey and Logan. I think one of these two groups will be in the final tribal council, and it all comes down to which one of us four is the best fire-maker.

–Danny

The scene fades to black as suspenseful music can be heard.

Day 37[]

Jakarta[]

Tropical music brings the camp back into view. Danny and Joe are sitting on the rocks overlooking the ocean, talking about the first thing they'll do after the game.
Danny: I'm getting a Big Mac, that's for sure.
Joe laughs and reveals he's more of a Wendy's fan.
Danny: OK, Baconators are good, but how can you not like the special sauce?
Joe: It's not that I don't like it, I just think that greasy bacon is better.
Hailey (coming to the beach): Ugh, don't get me started on food.

All we talk about now is food, and it drives me insane! I'm starving, and so is everyone else, I get it, I really do, but I can not stand hearing about mac and cheese or twinkies for another moment. I'm going to eat a rock soon it's that bad.

–Hailey

The scene shows all three of them talking about food before Hailey slowly starts to change the subject.
Hailey: I bet Logan would love some food.
Danny: I bet he eats like a thousand calories a day.
Hailey: He does! I'm amazed he's still so good at challenges despite being malnourished.
Joe: It's a shame.
The three of them laugh as they look behind them to see where Logan is at.
Hailey: Now if you want to know what I think, Logan should go tonight if he doesn't win immunity.
Danny: Oh no questions about it.

Tonight, unless he wins immunity, it should be an open and shut case that Logan is going. He's a huge threat. No one under any circumstances wants to sit next to him. Sure I might win against him, but I know he's going to take people's votes from me like Lucas. Quite frankly, no one except Logan would mind if he wasn't there.

–Hailey

Hailey is down to vote Logan, which is great for me. Every time she tells me, I'll vote for this person before you, that's one more path I can choose to take. I like leaving a lot of paths open, call me Red Riding Hood, that way I can just kind of duck between paths and choose the one that will take me closer to Grandmother's house.

–Joe

The scene cuts to Danny throwing wood into the fire as Logan comes up to him.
Logan (chewing on some bark): How's the vibe today?
Danny (nonchalantly): I certainly wouldn't throw the challenge if I was you.
Logan: Why not?
Danny: You're a huge physical threat, we all know that. If you don't win, who knows what will happen?
Logan: So if I don't win I'm going?
Danny: I think no matter who wins, it's going to be fire.
Logan nods as he thinks about it.

I do think that coming out here and going balls to the walls in challenge did hurt me. I tried my best in every challenge, and that's what I said I would do. I'm not one of those people who will purposely throw a challenge just to not have a target. I want to say that I won something. It does paint a huge target on your back though, and especially now, this close to the end, you have to watch what you're doing and how you're handling that target because if it grows too big, you're out of luck unless you keep on winning.

–Logan

Danny throws some more sticks into the fire as he walks off to get some more. Logan stretches a bit before walking into the woods.

I told Logan that I wouldn't vote for him at the next tribal. Right now, I think everyone's just trying to keep Logan calm. We want him to believe he's unbeatable. We want him to think he's unbeatable, because that's when people get defeated. If he knows for sure his head is on the chopping block, he might try his hardest, and if he tries his hardest, everyone here as no shot at winning.

–Danny

Jakarta[]

The camera shows a spider spinning its web as the final four can be seen walking back into camp. Logan is visibly grinning as the other three have a stoic look on their faces. Logan takes the necklace off and sets it on a tree branch.
Logan: That's amazing.

So I just won my fourth individual immunity challenge out here. It's amazing to know that I have been almost completely unstoppable in every challenge that I've competed in. I think that I have a great shot of winning, I mean, I've played a great physical game, and my strategic game is not half bad. All I have to do now is navigate my way to the end.

–Logan

The camera then shows Logan and Hailey sitting on the beach. Hailey is drawing random shapes in the sand with a stick.
Hailey: So it's Joe tonight right?
Logan: Is that how you're voting?
Hailey: That's about the only thing we can do, he's a huge threat you know. I mean, heck, I'd vote for him. Unless he was up against you maybe.
Logan (serious): If I didn't win, were you going to vote for me?
Hailey (sighing): I'll be honest Logan, I wouldn't vote for you. We both know that those two are close and tight. We have to convince Danny to flip, that'll be easy, but we know that if it's you against them tomorrow, you have to win or else they are voting you out. No questions.

I told Logan that I wasn't going to vote for him when in fact I was one of the biggest supporters to get him out. It was a failed move and all I can really hope for now is to just have it all work out for me. I have to keep happy thoughts and convince Danny that Joe needs to go.

–Hailey

Danny is sitting on a rocky section as Hailey comes up.
Hailey: Hey Danny, how are you?
Danny: I'm alright, a little nervous.
Hailey (laughing): Don't be. I'm not voting for you.
Danny: Joe?
Hailey: Yeah, I mean, he's the biggest threat left. We get rid of him, and any one of us three can win.
Danny (shaking his head): This vote is tough.
Hailey: Yeah, it is. And tomorrow won't be an easier.

So Hailey tells me she wants Joe out. I don't know if I can trust her. Hailey has been playing her ass off, and tonight might be our chance to take her out. I think I can get Joe, since she's voting for him, and worst comes to worst, if we can't convince Logan, Joe needs to make fire.

–Danny

Danny and Joe are seen hanging around the fire, talking about the vote.
Joe: She's voting for me?
Danny: Yeah. She says that you're the biggest threat left.
Joe: She's pushing it. Did you see the jury's reaction last night when she played the idol? Xiu and Kat were ecstatic, even Lucas flashed a smirk for a second before he realized who had played the idol.
Danny: She's been playing advantages left and right. We just need to take her out.
Joe: Is Logan on board?
Danny: I haven't talked to him yet, I need to come up with something good. I think that if I speak with him first, he'll be more likely to flip. I mean, if you just tell him, he might think you're just trying to shake the game up. If I talk to him, he'll know it's real.
Joe: Just tell him what Hailey was doing all this morning. I mean, hell, she was practically guessing who would win immunity without Logan to compete in it.

Hailey wants me gone, big whoop. She changes her mind so often, it's not even funny! Heck, this morning she was saying how Logan was for sure going, and that he couldn't win today's immunity challenge and it was impossible! *smirks* Well she also thinks it's impossible she's going tonight but we'll see.

–Joe

Joe is sitting by the fire when Hailey walks up.
Hailey (smiling): Hey Joe.
Joe (fake smiling): Heya Hailey.
Hailey (sitting down): It sucks Logan won.
Joe: Tell me about it. Does he lose anything?
Hailey: Well hopefully he'll lose the game to one of us.
Joe laughs as Hailey grabs her water jug and drinks from it.
Hailey: So I was thinking, we need to beat Logan, right? Well we need to pick out of us three, the two strongest, and I think it's me and you. We were all on our third sections and Danny was just starting his second section. It was pathetic. I just don't want to see everyone hand Logan the win because he won the most challenges.
Joe: I don't either, but if he's up there, he's going to win.
Hailey (getting up): Well just take what I'm saying into account tonight.

I was very confused with the conversation Hailey and I had. I couldn't tell if she was serious about it, or if she was just trying to get me to vote Danny and not her. Whatever it was, it didn't really change my mind at all. I'm not looking to bring the strongest people with me so we can beat Logan, I want to bring people I think I can win against.

–Joe

The way I see it is, if I can turn Danny and Joe on each other, then maybe I can slip on by. I want to cause chaos because I know that with chaos, I can maintain order, and if people see that I still have some sort of order, I might win.

–Hailey

Danny and Logan are sitting in the shelter, whispering about the vote.
Logan (whispering): Both are huge threats.
Danny: Yeah, either way, it's a win win.
Logan: I mean, the way I see it, I can beat both of them in an immunity challenge, so I don't really care which one goes.
Danny: Well, if you knew what Hailey was saying, you might.
Logan: What's she saying?
Danny: This morning, she was dead-set that the three of us all vote you out if you lost.
Logan: She did?
Danny: She also wanted you gone last round, but then you won immunity.
Logan: Is that so?
There's a brief pause as Logan is stopping to think. Finally he rolls over to face Danny.
Logan: That's harsh.

Right now, I have to determine if Danny's telling me the truth or not. On one hand, I can totally see it. If you cross Hailey, you're a dead man. Yet, it's awful convenient that he's just now telling me, when the vote is so close to happening. I think it might be just a clever ruse to get me to turn against Hailey.

–Logan

A snake can be seen slithering on a beach as the camera slowly transitions to Joe and Logan by the water well.
Logan: Has Hailey been talking much about me?
Joe: What hasn't she been saying about you? She must be like bipolar because one moment you're public enemy number one and the next moment you two are besties.
Logan: So she's wanted to get me out?
Joe: Yeah, if you hadn't won today, you probably would've been gone.

Joe told me that Hailey wanted me gone, which makes me think it's true. I mean, he has no reason to lie, plus he didn't even suggest voting out Hailey. What my vote ultimately comes down to tonight is who I think I can beat, and who I think I'll have a harder chance against. Is that Hailey, or Joe? Who knows, I might even vote Danny. Literally anyone can go, and that is what's so scary about all this. When you have immunity, you feel safe, but tonight, I'll still feel very afraid.

–Logan

A final shot can be seen of the four setting out as the suns starts to set.

Tribal Council 1[]

The final four come in and sit down as Lucas, Kat, Xiu, Trenton, and Diane who was voted off at the last tribal come and sit down. None of them look shocked to see Logan sitting with the necklace around his neck.
Jeff: Welcome back to tribal council. Logan, you won immunity again. This close to the end, it's gotta feel better than ever, right?
Logan: Yeah Jeff, I mean, each time that I come to tribal, I feel better and better because this thing keeps landing around my neck. I'm scared what will happen when I lose one. I've heard talks that if I didn't win, I'd be out the door tonight.
Jeff: Joe, do you think Logan's beliefs are right? That if he doesn't win, he doesn't even have to try because everyone know that he's going straight home?
Joe: That's what I would assume, but this game is very tricky. What looks like the obvious answer sometimes isn't. I think that Logan's a great guy, but I think that I can rival him in some aspects when it comes to the final tribal.
Jeff: So you're saying you can beat him?
Joe: I wouldn't go that far, but I can give him a good fight.
Jeff: So Logan, when someone like Joe tells you, "Well I can almost beat him!" Does that make you pause and think, maybe I should get rid of him! He can beat me.
Logan: Totally, I want to go to the end with someone I think I can beat. Why keep Joe around if he believes that he can beat me?
Joe (interrupting): Well I'm not the only one here who can beat Logan possibly Jeff. Each one of us here has strong suits that depending on the mind set of the jury, can hand us the win. Hailey, for example, is very strategic. If the jury is looking for who played the best strategic game, she wins hands down.
Jeff: Hailey, do you think this is true?
Hailey (thinking): Yes, I do think I've played one hell of a strategic game, but I've burned a lot of bridges. Lucas doesn't respect me, I don't respect him. I flipped on Trenton to avoid rocks. I've had negatives that the jury won't easily forget.
Jeff: And just like that, Hailey turned it around. Danny, how are you weighing in on this?
Danny: Well I was hoping that if you didn't call on me tonight Jeff, these three would forget about me and only vote for Hailey or Joe.
The final four and Jeff laugh as Diane glares from the jury box.
Danny: But, I think what's going to happen tonight, is that we have to trust who we've made deals with, and that things will turn out best for us. No one knows who's going, I can guarantee that. Everyone will be blindsided tonight.
Jeff: Hailey, do you think that everyone will be surprised?
Hailey: I sure will be, and I don't think these three guys are that good of actors.
Jeff: With that, it's time to vote, Hailey, you're up first.
Hailey walks up and we can see her hold up the parchment, although we can not see who it's for.

Um, nothing really against you. It's great getting to know you, but I feel that I have to trust the others and they aren't lying to me. Best of luck.

–Hailey (voting for ???)

Logan can be seen thinking before he uncaps the pen as the camera transitions to Joe who holds up the vote, although we can not see who it is for.

Good job, but I hope that three votes come up for you tonight. It's a game of trust, and all I'm telling myself, is how much you wanna risk Joe?

–Joe (voting for ???)

Danny can be seen writing a dash down as he then holds up his vote.

I'm sorry for this, but I think it's what they're doing? Whatever happens, just know, I would not want to go against you in the final tribal.

–Danny (voting for ???)

Danny sits back down as Jeff goes and tallies the votes.
Jeff: Person voted out must leave the tribal council area immediately, I'll read the votes.

First Vote: Hailey
Hailey nods her head at the vote as Joe and Danny look at one another and Logan.

Second Vote: Joe
Joe pats Hailey on the back as she smiles at him.

Third Vote: Hailey
Hailey smiles to Danny and meekly looks at Logan who stares straight ahead, indifferent.

Fourth Vote:

And the 6th member of our jury...
Hailey
Jeff: Hailey, that's three and that's enough I need you to bring me your torch.
Hailey nods her head and grabs her torch. Logan stands up and hugs her.
Logan (whispering): I'm sorry, but I knew you were trying to get rid of me.
Hailey just nods, wiping a tear.
Hailey (starting to cry): I just wanted to win, I'm so sorry.
Logan: Don't be.
Hailey turns and puts her torch in front of Jeff. He raises the snuffer as heroic music plays in the background.
Jeff: Hailey, the tribe has spoken.
He brings it down as the music climaxes. It slowly dies as he pulls up and we see the puffs of flame rise up.
Hailey turns and waves goodbye as the other three do the same.
Jeff (turning to the final three): Congratulations, you made it to the final three. One more challenge is left. Get some sleep, because I know for a fact, tomorrow is anyone's game.

Um, nothing really against you. It's great getting to know you, but I feel that I have to trust the others and they aren't lying to me. Best of luck.

–Hailey

Hailey, the last thing I wish for you to think is that I'm doing this because I want to. We have gotten so close, it pains me to do this. I wish I could take you with me, that we could work together, but you've kicked a lost of ass and I don't want you to kick mine.

–Logan

Good job, but I hope that three votes come up for you tonight. It's a game of trust, and all I'm telling myself, is how much you wanna risk Joe?

I'm sorry for this, but I think it's what they're doing? Whatever happens, just know, I would not want to go against you in the final tribal.

Final Words (Hailey)[]
*wiping away tears* Ugh I promised myself I wouldn't cry during this! I just got so worked up with emotion! I wanted to win this so bad, and I was so close and in such a good position to, that it hurts to be here. But now that it's all said and done, I'm glad to have come out here, I've met some amazing people and I can't wait to see who comes out on top.

–Hailey

Night 37[]

Jakarta[]

The camera shows the final three men walk back into camp, happy to be so close to the end. Danny yawns and hugs Joe as Logan sits by the fire, thinking about what he just did.

I just voted out my closest ally in the game, Hailey, because I learned that she was trying to vote me out as soon as she could. It was kind of a, strike first, think later sort of deal, and I really wish that I hadn't done that. Now I pretty much have to win immunity tomorrow. I doubt either Joe or Danny would want me next to them in the final tribal, so I guess I'm all on my own.

–Logan

The camera shows Logan's tired face as the scene fades to black.

Day 38[]

Jakarta[]

The camera picks up on Logan sitting in the same spot, looking almost as if he hadn't moved at all.
Danny (yelling off in the distance): Logan! Want some rice?
Logan (yelling back): I'm fine.
Logan stands up and starts stretching his arms up.

I'm treating today as if it was the championship finals. I'm going all in because if I lose this, I lose everything. There's no safety net anymore. I have to prove that I'm in this to win it.

–Logan

Joe can be seen walking up and stopping behind a tree. He can be seen trying to hold in laughter as Logan continues to stretch.

I come up on Logan stretching and I'm just thinking, dear God. I can't wait till he loses today and we send him home. It's just too much. I've never really liked him, I've only had to pretend to like him to get this far, so when his torch gets snuffed, it'll be a good feeling.

–Joe

Logan stops stretching and turns as Joe dives into the bushes. Logan doesn't notice and keeps walking as Joe comes out, finally releasing his laughter.

I've been running scenarios through my head since Day 1, and never did this combination come up. It might've for like a second, but I never entertained the thought. It's just so ridiculous, what has happened in this game, and that's why I'm in love with it.

–Joe

The camera slowly shows the final three walk off for their final immunity challenge.

  • Danny and Joe whisper out a deal that Danny will vote out Logan. Joe trusts Danny enough to drop out.

Jakarta[]

The camera picks up on Danny's smile as he hangs up his necklace.

For the first and last time in this game I just won immunity. It's a great feeling because I know that I have a spot in the final tribal, and that I get to choose who I go with. I'm torn because I promised Joe I'd take him, but Joe's such a huge threat. Logan is too, so right now I just have to sit back and think, who's the bigger threat to me and my win?

–Danny

Danny sits down in the shelter as the other two guys both sit down too.

I need to plan my defense very carefully. I don't want to be too pushy, but at the same time, I just don't want to lie over and die. I've come this far and I'm not going to lose all because I lost one challenge.

–Logan

I feel pretty confident about tonight. I made a deal with Danny, and he'd be frankly pretty stupid to take Logan to the end. He'd got demolished. I'm not saying he won't get demolished with me, but it probably wouldn't be as bad.

–Joe

Danny gets up to get some water and Logan follows him.
Logan: So, where's your head at?
Danny: You know, I'm pretty up in the air. Each of you have some cons and pros to taking you to the end.
Logan: Well what are some pros of me?
Danny: Some people are mad at you. That's about it. My only hope against you is a bitter jury.
Logan: I don't think so. You've played a strategic game. They're going to take one look at me and say my game was all about winning challenges.
Danny: But it wasn't.
Logan: It doesn't matter what you think, it's about what they think.

Hopefully I gave Danny a lot to think about. I can only hope for a miracle and that Danny makes a huge mistake tonight.

–Logan

The camera then shows Joe sitting by Danny, talking about the vote.
Danny: I know I made a deal with you.
Joe: And if you go back on it? Everyone on that jury is going to hear about it.
Danny: I'm not going to flip on you.
Joe: I don't think you will, just know that if I end up on that jury, Logan has a guaranteed vote.

Today I had to really pull the tough guy act. I need Danny to be scared of me so that he'll take me. I'm this close to the end and I really can taste it. I just need to take a bite now.

–Joe

The camera shows the three men leaving for tribal council as the scene cuts to commercial break.

Tribal Council 2[]

Logan, Danny, and Joe enter and take their seats as Lucas, Kat, Xiu, Trenton, Diane, and Hailey come in. Logan smiles at Hailey who smiles right back. Kat and Xiu start buzzing at the fact Logan isn't wearing the necklace.
Jeff: Danny, you won the final immunity challenge. It must feel good to know that you're guaranteed to be here tomorrow and that you will plead your case to the jury as to why you should win the title of Sole Survivor.
Danny: It's better than good, it's the best feeling I've ever felt. I've never put as much blood, sweat, and tears, into anything like I did that challenge.
Jeff: And then there's you on the other hand Logan, you've been immune at four tribals but now the necklace is around someone else's neck.
Logan: It's a stab in the gut, for sure, but I just have to hope that just because I lost once, doesn't mean I'm out for good.
Jeff: Danny, tell me what your decision process is for who you should take with you tonight.
Danny: I definitely want to take someone I can win against, I didn't come this far just to get second, so I need to think, what is the jury going to appreciate the most and how can I better my chances of getting four votes?
Diane can be seen watching Danny intensely as the camera cuts to the final three.
Jeff: Joe, Logan, give me your case as to why Danny should take you to the end.
Joe: Well um, quite frankly Jeff, Logan's been a challenge whore.
A musical sting occurs as Hailey grabs onto Diane's shoulder to stop herself from falling off her stool.
Joe: He's won more challenges than I have, and he's been more comfortable. He's made moves that he rocked this game and could totally hand him the million dollars.
Logan nods as he explains his case.
Logan: I think the jury will just see me as the guy who won challenges. You need a strategy in this game, and if the jury doesn't see that, Danny will win if he takes me.
Joe (interrupting): That's if the jury chooses to turn a blind eye.
Danny looks at Logan and Joe before turning to Jeff.
Jeff: Looks like Danny's ready to vote. Come take the urn.
Danny can be seen walking up to the podium and uncapping the pen as the camera shifts back to Logan and Joe, both of whom are nervous.
Jeff: I'll go tally the vote.
Jeff leaves as the final three turn to the jury. Jeff walks back carrying the urn.
Jeff: I'll read the vote. Person voted out must leave the tribal council area immediately.

Danny's Vote:

Logan
Jeff: Logan, you need to bring me your torch.
Logan grins and grabs his torch as he brings it to Jeff.
Jeff: Logan, the tribe has spoken.
Logan turns to the final two before laughing.
Logan: Good luck tomorrow.
He leaves as Jeff turns to Danny and Joe.
Jeff: Congratulations. You have both made it to the final two. Tomorrow the power will shift over to the jury, seven people whom you have had a hand in voting out. It'll be interesting to see what happens. Head on out.

Voting Confessionals[]
This was a tough choice, but in the end, I feel confident about my odds. I'm playing my deck the best I can, and this is the best move for me.

–Danny

Final Words (Logan)[]
I'm disappointed that I was only a day away from possibly winning it all. I guess we'll never know if I could've won, but at least I was memorable and I did my best. I'm sure my family back home will be proud and that's all I can ask for.

–Logan

Night 38[]

Jakarta=[]

The camera comes up on Danny and Joe coming back to camp. They stop and hug each other as they just sit down. Danny (in amazement): It's really almost done. Joe: It feels like we just started. Danny (laughing): Maybe. It's like halfway between yesterday and a million years ago.

Whenever I think about it, I just don't believe that by this tomorrow, someone will have won this game. Over a month ago we started, and it feels like yesterday. I've just had so much fun, a little part of me wants to continue this, but I don't know if my body would agree, *laughs*

–Danny

Danny and Joe can be seen laying down for the night as the camera transitions to a bird flying over the ocean.

Day 39[]

Jakarta[]

The bird lands on a tree branch as the camera pull backs to show Joe sitting on the beach. The water from the ocean gently comes up to his toes as he thinks about that night.

I do have a little rough outline of my speech. I've been thinking about what I want to make sure I include and what I want to avoid as much as possible. Tonight it's all about apologizing for people who feel hurt and trying to claim as many moves that I can, even if I didn't really do them all. But most of all, what tonight is really is about is proving that this whole trip was worth it and that I didn't come out here just to get second. That's my biggest fear, is second place, because I've always heard, second is the first loser. I'd rather be like fifth loser!

–Joe

The camera cuts to Danny sitting in the middle of a small clearing of trees. He's humming softly and sits in a typical zen pose.

Today I'm just really cleaning out my mind, relaxing, and getting ready to go into tribal just completely focused. I know my strengths and I really just wanna, overplay them to my advantage. I do believe that I can really win this game. All my life you know, I've just been pushed down and told, oh you can't do that, you'll be a failure, but out here, I've become a new person so to say, I just can kind of do anything now. Nothing's too small or big for me. I can tackle any challenge now. I came out here shy and awkward, I thought, this is gonna be hell. But I've honestly had fun, I've gotten to know some amazing people, and I've done amazing things.

–Danny

The two guys are then seen walking to tree mail. Danny gasps as he sees the basket full of food. He grabs an orange and holds it up.
Danny: This is amazing! I love oranges.
The camera than shows an egg being cooked on the skillet over the fire as Danny and Joe feast on the food.
Joe: I'm gonna be so sick but it's worth it.
They then scramble it as Danny grabs another orange.

The food was incredible. I've never had anything as good as that before, and I don't think I ever will again. *chuckles* Today was the best day out here, I know that at worst, I'm leaving here with more money than the rest of the other fourteen contestants, and at best I'm winning a million dollars. I feel like a million bucks, and I have a small feeling that today can only get better.

–Joe

The men can be seen cleaning up their food and then setting burning leaves on their shelter. They watch their shelter burn before they turn and walk to tribal council.

Final Tribal Council[]

Danny and Joe come in and take their spot as Jeff stands before them.
Jeff: We will now bring in the jury. Lucas, Kat, Xiu, Trenton, Diane, Hailey, and Logan, voted out last night.
Logan smiles at the final two as Jeff turns to the jury.
Jeff: The power has now shifted into your hands, tonight you will vote for a winner. We'll start with opening statements and then you can question the final two as you see fit. Danny, we'll start with you.
Danny (smiling): Well um hello everybody! Coming into this game, I certainly felt out of my element. I never really had a bunch of life experience and everyone else was telling this stories about how they had been to Sydney for summer break, and how Germany is to die for. I felt like, I should be the first boot. But I made connections, I started doing something I never saw myself doing, playing this game socially. I never really had to worry about leaving premerge because I've had these connections. Then at the merge, I found myself playing strategically! I had to make moves every around to assure that I could sit here. It wasn't pure chance that I am sitting here. It was my own moves that allowed me to get here.
Kat can be seen grinning as Hailey has an emotionless look on her face.
Jeff: Joe, your speech.
Joe: Hello everyone, I'd like to think that I played a pretty well rounded game. Physically, I wasn't the best, but I came close in a lot of challenges and in tribe challenges I pulled my weight. Socially I feel that I got to know each and every one of you on an individual level. I also feel that everyone liked me or at the very least respected me out here. Strategically I made calls on day one, day twenty, and even three days ago, all of which helped me out. I never made a move that hurt me and pushed me into an inescapable corner, I always had options and I always made moves that kept as many options open. M So yeah, just ask me about anything if you want to know more.
Jeff: I'll give the jury a bit of time to think about the opening statements and then we'll start with the questions.

Trenton's Speech[]

Jeff: Trenton, kick it off.
Trenton comes up in front of the final two.
Trenton: I don't really have any questions for you two, I think you've both played an amazing game, and I'm wishing you both the best of luck. Danny, I feel like given the situation you were in, you played the best you could. Joe, I trusted you and I didn't see you voting me out. I deserved it honestly, I tried to blindside you so I can't complain too much. My vote isn't fully decided yet so best of luck to the two of you, and may the jury not rip you to shreds.
Danny: Thank you Trenton.
Joe: Thanks man.
Trenton goes and sits down.

Logan's Speech[]

Jeff: Logan, your turn.
Logan stands up and walks to the front.
Logan: Congratulations you two. I wanna start by saying I'm not bitter. I have no one to blame but myself for not sitting up there. What I do want to say is that I think you two are great examples of having to play two different games. Joe, you were always kind of near the bottom but at the end flipped it around so that you were on the top. Did you feel that you had to play harder at the beginning or towards the end?
Joe: I've always kind of had to play hard. At the beginning towards the middle I really had to play subtly since I knew I wasn't the king pen of the tribes, but although I wasn't flashy, I still made a lot of moves towards my favor. I voted to keep people around just as much as I voted to send others home. At the end, I had to play hard as well because I knew I was near the top of the tribe then, and I had to really play to make sure that day after day, I stayed at the top.
Logan: And you Danny, I feel like you played the opposite really. You started off this game pretty well off, but then you flipped on me and Hailey and tried to make a move and you were really close to the bottom for the rest of the game, why?
Danny: I knew you would ask this! *laughs* Well the main reason why I flipped on you and Hailey is mainly because, I knew that you and Hailey were pretty good candidates to win. I knew that if you or her made it here, we wouldn't even need to have a tribal council. So I took a risk and I tried to take out a threat. It didn't really work out for me, but I don't regret trying. You have to try in this game, or nothing happens.
Logan: Thank you. Well good luck, and may the best man win.

Kat's Speech[]

Jeff: Kat, take it away.
Kat walks up to the final two and stares them down.
Kat: I've always been honest, and I'll keep being honest, I think you two played the best game, mostly because you two made it here. I just want to know, who played it better? Joe, you seemed to always have this arrogance about you, like you were always thinking, I'm so much better than these people. I want to know, how can you say you had the best social game when everyone here thinks you're a little douchey?
Joe: I never said that I was the best socially, I just think that I did a good job on the social game. Sure there was moments and spots where I was perceived as a little rude, but I think at the very least, everyone here respected me.
Kat: And Danny, I don't have a question for you so you can relax, *chuckles* I think that honestly, you were pushed into a corner. Sure you made great strategic moves, but you were forced to make them. If you had decided to not flip, would you have made those moves? I guess what I'm really trying to say is, did you make those moves to better your game, or to stay in the game? Good luck guys, you two deserve this.
Kat returns to her seat as the rest of the jury can be seen deep in though.

Xiu's Speech[]

Jeff: Xiu, it's your turn.
Xiu comes up to the final two and stands in front of them.
Xiu: Hello guys. It's nice to finally be here at the end. This game as we all know is an amazing game. I think that the most amazing thing about it is, we don't really know what's going to happen until it happens. If you had told me on day one that Joe and Danny would be the final two, I would've laughed in your face! But here we are and I think that is an amazing thing. Joe, you... and I we just didn't really get along at all. At some points in this game, it felt like you were personally going after me and disguising it as this sort of "strategy". Do you think that we could be friends after this?
Joe: Well you know, you and I are just so different, I don't know if we can ever be good friends, but I would love to get to know you outside of this game Xiu.
Xiu: Thank you Joe. Danny, you started this game, so unsure of yourself, but I saw you blossom into this confident and take-no-sass man. I'm so proud of you.
Danny: Thank you Xiu.
Xiu: No, thank you. Good luck guys, I've made up my mind!
Xiu walks to her seat as Jeff motions for Hailey to go on up.

Hailey's Speech[]

Hailey walks up to the final two and stops at the front.
Hailey: Congratulations you two. I think that this season was difficult in a lot of aspects and I'm really proud that you two managed to outlast all of us. I think that my vote is almost decided so I'll just give you all a quick moment to maybe persuade me. Danny, I want to know, if you hadn't flipped, between me and Logan, who would you have taken to the end? Joe, if you were voted out last night, between Logan and Danny, who would you vote for?
Danny: Well um, I think that I would take Logan to the end with me, he played a great physical game but I feel like that you all might not have seen his strategic game, and that might've given me an extra leg up.
Hailey: And Joe?
Joe: If it was Danny and Logan here, I would come in on the fence between both of them but I would lean more towards Logan. I've seen how he's played this game and he totally rocked it. If I didn't vote for Logan, it'd be out of pure bitterness.
Hailey: Thank you both.
Hailey sits down as Logan pats her on the back.

Lucas's Speech[]

Jeff: Lucas, it's your turn.
Lucas walks up to the front as Kat can be seen rolling her eyes.
Lucas: I'll keep this as short as I can. If I was to say that you two were the best players, we'd all know that I'm just lying to you. The best players are here on this jury, you two were just lucky enough to take us out. Danny, we worked together for our time together, but I never got to know you, yet you claim that you're this social pariah who worked himself up from humble roots to a social and strategic God. Don't lie to us, we all know this is B.S. But you never crossed me, and for that you get a plus.
Danny nods as Lucas turns to Joe.
Lucas: Joe, I've wanted to tell you exactly how I've felt about you for a long time. You're a coward. On day six, instead of voting with your alliance, you flipped to take out Diane. You should've been the next one out, but as luck would have it, you slipped on by. You've slipped by a lot, and pretty soon, this "as long as I'm not going," attitude was going to catch up to you. And it's right here. I hope you lose. I'm not going to be heartless, I want you to humor me. If you could change one thing in this game, what would it be?
Joe (smirking): If I could change one thing, it'd be that I'd lead the charge to vote out you over Sarah on day three.
Kat and Xiu's face drop and struggle to contain laughter as Diane smirks.
Lucas's face scrunches up as he glares at Joe.
Lucas: Good luck Danny, know that you have one public supporter.
Lucas sits down as Kat and Xiu are still laughing about Joe's answer.

Diane's Speech[]

Jeff: Diane, finish it off.
Diane walks up to the front and turns to the final two.
Diane: I just want to say, I'm so glad you two are here. You both deserve this so much, but only one of you can win. Joe, you were a great ally, and I don't think people here understand your strategic and social game. You combined the two of them so well that I don't think people can tell the difference. You made me feel like I was your number one. Then you voted out one of my close allies, and forced me to be close to you. Then you threw an immunity challenge to make sure that I stayed in this game. To top it off, I should've turned against you, you jumped ship, but you talked me into staying aligned with you through out this whole game! That is amazing.
Joe: Thank you Diane.
Diane: And Danny, you and I didn't really get to get close until later on in this game, but when we did, I felt like you were one of my own children. I rooted for you, and I was so glad when I saw you succeed. Tonight's vote is going to be really tough, and I'm so glad that you two are sitting here. Good luck, and may the best man win.
Diane goes and sits down as Jeff turns to the final two.
Jeff: In a few short moments you will vote for someone to win this game. I'll give you some time to think things over, and then we'll vote.
The camera shows each jury member thinking as the screen fades to black.

Reunion Show[]

Jeff: It's time to vote for the last time. Remember, you are voting for a winner. The person who's name you want to write down is who you want to win this game. Trenton, take the urn and vote.
Trenton stands and walks to the table. He can be seen uncapping the pen as it cuts to show Logan and Kat walking. Xiu and Hailey can be seen writing something down. Diane sits down as Jeff turns to the final two.
Jeff: Congratulations, now I know you'd love for me to read this aloud right now, but you're going to have to wait.
Jeff grabs the urn and walks off as Danny and Joe's hopeful faces are shown.
The camera cuts to show Jeff walk out into a huge reunion audience. The crowd goes wild as Jeff sets down the urn.
