Personal Claim to Fame: I would say my biggest accomplishment in my life is coming out to my parents when I was thirty. And my second biggest accomplishment is my beautiful girlfriend, Tamara. We've been together for, I think, twelve years now and our anniversary is in two weeks so I am sad that I won't be home. But she knows that I am here for a purpose and that purpose is to bring home the bacon!
Inspiration in Life: My biggest inspiration is my dad. He introduced me to the world of navy, he was actually a navy seal. He is now retired and, what do you know, he's actually friends with Rudy Boesch who was on Survivor sometime in the early stages, I think. When I met Rudy, he told me right away that I should go and try Survivor out because I am the toughest-looking woman he's ever met. So I can thank my daddy for being out here.
Hobbies: Spending time with my girlfriend, my job, swimming and singing Christmas carols.
Pet Peeves: I am going to sound like your typical middle-aged lesbian but I cannot stand petty pretty girls. If you're not ready to get dirty, don't come out to do Survivor. This game isn't about having pretty hair and nails done, this is about surviving in the wilderness. If there's one on my tribe, I'll deal with it, zip my tongue and pretend that nothing's bothering me. If there are more, Lord help me!
3 Words to Describe You: Outgoing, Strong, Resourceful.
SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: I'm not really a fan of Survivor so I can't really answer this question. However, if there ever was a middle-aged woman that was trying to win this game by working hard and being a strong member of her tribe, that would be me.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: I am here for the experience whole-heartedly but I won't lie that the money is a strong influence too. I really do think that anybody who says they aren't doing this for the money is either extremely rich or a phony.
Why You Think You’ll “Survive” SURVIVOR: I work in conditions that are less than omptimal everyday. When I recruit people to be in the navy, we have to look for the best of the best which means we do trainings out in the rain, on the sea and we really try to put our candidates in the toughest of environments and situations. But we have to be there with them to guide them through. So, for the hardships, I am more prepared than anyone.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: I think that I am easy to get along with and that I'll make a very strong person for the challenges. I am also extremely witty because I have to use my brain all the time in my line of work. If people think that being in the army or military is all about the brute strenght, you are sadly mistaken. We have to think with our heads because a single mistake by one of us could cause many deaths. Especially now with the political situation that the world is in.
