Lauren is mainly known for her downfall when Jerome Thomas discovered she had told the minority alliance that Alexa Miller didn't trust fellow alliance member Terri McMullen. She is also known for acting rude towards outsider Erica Foley after Lauren gained a powerful position in the game.

Claim to Fame: Baking the cake for each mayor's inauguration party for the past 30 years. It's truly an honor that people like my baking enough to ask such a large thing of me.
Inspiration in Life: My grandchildren. They are such rays of sunshine and the best grandkids anyone could ask for. They're kind, generous, and always greet me and everyone they meet with a smile. I've made it my mission to do the same. Although, I hate to say it, I'm not very good at the whole positivity thing sometimes!
Hobbies: Filling out crosswords, meeting new people, and going on walks around my neighborhood.
Pet Peeves: Nasty people who yell at or insult others. I'd rather they just talk badly behind people's backs like everyone else does.
3 Words to Describe You: Nurturing, judgmental, and spiritual. Kind of contradictory, I know.
If You Could Bring One Thing on the Island With You, What Would You Bring and Why?: Oh, for sure some recipes. Although I'm a baker, I'm not too bad at cooking in general. I'd have ways to get creative with the little food we do have and make the rice taste a little less boring. That's one thing I'm not looking forward to at all!
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: I've lived 63 years and while I love what I do, it's time to shake things up a little bit. I'm looking for a brand new experience, and what's better than SURVIVOR? I could even spread my name far and wide and expand my baking business even further if I wanted to. Sounds like a dream!
What is Your Strategy to Become the Sole Survivor?: I'm just a naturally likable person. That will absolutely help me make it to the end. Who doesn't want to drag the sweet, unassuming old lady to the final 2? Little do they know, there's some bite in this dog here, and I'm ready to get my hands dirty if I have to.
Survivor: Gilbert Islands[]
Early on in the game, Lauren formed a strong friendship with Alexa Miller, which helped her to be included into the majority alliance between herself, Alexa, Jerome Thomas, Luis Martinez, and Terri McMullen. Soon after the alliance's formation, Alexa told Lauren that she didn't trust Terri fully; Lauren almost immediately told the minority alliance this information in an effort to play both sides of the tribe. However, she came to regret her decision when she realized that she not only was in the majority alliance, but had a majority within the majority due to her three-person pact with Alexa and Jerome. Despite attempts from the minority to split the majority apart, Lauren was able to strong-arm Alexa into staying loyal, and her alliance voted Vincent Kraus out of the game.
Conflict between Alexa and Terri continued to rise, but Lauren did her best to keep everybody loyal. She began acting hostile and rude towards outsider Erica Foley in response to her repeated attempts to tear the majority alliance apart. Soon after this began, Terri told Jerome that Lauren was the one responsible for informing the minority alliance about distrust between Alexa and Terri. Jerome quickly told Alexa, and they both campaigned for Lauren's elimination from the game. Alexa accidentally let it slip that she wanted Lauren gone to her face, which caused Lauren to campaign for Alexa's elimination out of revenge. Lauren was able to convince Terri and Chad Strickland to go through with the plan, but Erica refused due to Lauren's rude behavior. Erica and Jerome were able to convince Luis Martinez to flip, and Lauren was eliminated in a close 4-3 vote.
