Mike Gregory is a contestant from Survivor: Santa Cruz Islands.

Name (Age): Mike Gregory (37)
Tribe Designation: Temotu
Current Residence: Summerville, SC
Occupation: Police Officer
Personal Claim to Fame: Being a part of the police force. It's something I always dreamed of doing, and I made it happen.
Inspiration in Life: First of all, I'm not trying to sound condescending, but the criminals that shoot themselves in the foot all the time are the ones that make me feel best about myself. They keep reminding me to avoid bad decisions on a daily basis, thus inspiring me to live a trouble-free life.
Hobbies: Traveling and working on my motorcycle.
Pet Peeves: Know-it-alls and slow drivers on the interstate.
3 Words to Describe You: Hard-Nosed, Blunt, Prideful
If You Could Have 3 Things on The Island What Would They Be and Why? My iPod just so I can listen to my tunes when I'm bored, some magazines to skim through, and some whiskey to top off a tiring day.
SURVIVOR Contestant You Are Most Like: I've got a goofy side like Big Tom, but I'm more badass than he is.
Reason for Being on SURVIVOR: For that big, fat paycheck at the end of it.
Why You Think You’ll “Survive” SURVIVOR: You deal with some of the most conniving people and some of the most dimwitted people as an officer. There's going to be some personalities out here for sure, but everything and everyone I've dealt with up to this point has prepared me for something like this.
Why You Think You Will Be the Sole SURVIVOR: Cause I'm going to be rock-solid in challenges and at camp. There is no way I lose this game, and if I do, it's out of my competition having dumb luck.

Survivor: Santa Cruz Islands

Mike was one of the nine members of the Temotu tribe. Mike was quick to work with Katherine Webb and the tribe's returning player, Troyzan Robertson. Together, they created a final three pact with one another and sought out more individuals to ensure that they had majority within the tribe. This came true when the three brought in Derek Richardson and Jocelyn Peck as the fourth and fifth members of the alliance. Early on, the tribe targeted Robert Stineman as an outsider after he was caught looking for a hidden immunity idol under everyone's noses. Robert made his way away from camp on Day 5 to look for an idol once more, but with Mike hot on his trail. While Robert looked low, Mike looked high and eventually found the idol while Robert was unaware. Mike shared this information with Troyzan and Katherine, much to their delight. However, this secrecy and closeness between the three started to make Derek and Jocelyn wonder about their position in the alliance. After being falsely comforted by Troyzan, Derek and Jocelyn jumped ship to align with Robert and Amy Young. With Troyzan bringing in Justin Passmore, the two alliances became even at four, with Melanie Pointer seen as the swing vote. But when Temotu went to their first Tribal Council on Day 13, Melanie was unanimously voted out after collapsing once at camp and having her condition only worsen from there. After Melanie's elimination, the two alliances stacked up at four a piece until Day 16, when the tribes were shuffled. Mike, along with Troyzan, Katherine, and Robert, was placed on the new Fatutaka tribe with former Fatutaka members Alvin Drew Jr. and Gaby Moreno. After the new Fatutaka tribe lost the next immunity challenge, Robert was seen as a loose end that could flip over to side with Alvin and Gaby, forcing the tribe into a tie. However, out of this fear, Troyzan pleaded to Mike to play his idol. Instead, Mike gave the idol to Troyzan, who played it on Katherine, thinking that the opposition may have misdirected their vote. Ultimately, the votes were cast for Mike but not enough were cast to send him home as Robert stayed loyal to the former Temotus, sending Alvin to the jury. Gaby was soon to follow on Day 20 and the next morning, the two tribes merged with eight former Temotus and two former Fatutakas, Andrew Green and Jordan Owens, still remaining. The target quickly shifted to the two outsiders, who were deemed as social and strategic threats to the majority, and the eight agreed to send Andrew and then Jordan home before battling it out amongst themselves. Before the merge's first Tribal Council, though, Andrew found his second immunity idol. Not knowing that he had two idols instead of one, the former Temotus agreed to split the votes between Andrew and Jordan to ensure their safety no matter which way the idol was played. That all changed when Andrew and Jordan both played idols, nullifying all of the votes cast against them, sending Jocelyn home after a tie and then a revote. Afterwards, Troyzan's alliance had a numbers advantage over Amy, Derek, and Robert, but the remaining seven Temotus initially agreed to stay loyal to one another. But when Andrew revealed an idol, that was fake, to Amy, the three that were newly put in the minority sided with Andrew and Jordan to blindside Troyzan in a 5-4 vote, leaving Mike, Katherine, and Justin left to wonder what happened. Now in the minority, things seemed grim for what was left of Troyzan's alliance until Andrew continued to make moves. He approached Derek and Robert about blindsiding Amy now that she had the "idol" in her possession. But Mike stumbled upon the plan, which left Derek and Robert hesitant to carry out the blindside. After hearing about the possible blindside being planned against her, Amy went to Mike, Katherine, and Justin to turn the tables back on Andrew and Jordan, with the latter being sent home in a 6-2 vote. After being left to fend for himself after Jordan's departure, Andrew mustered up another immunity victory, which forced the two alliances of three to be pit against each other once more with Andrew acting as the swing vote. After Katherine convinced Andrew that Derek was his biggest threat and Amy denying Andrew of any chance of winning, Andrew sided with the remnants of Troyzan's alliance, sending Derek home in a shocking 4-3 vote. The target remained on Andrew, but he continued to win immunity challenges. After Amy was sent home after playing her fake idol, Katherine was able to beat Andrew and the rest of the Kakuna tribe to win immunity. Without a clue to reference off of for an idol, Andrew wandered around aimlessly trying to find an idol to save himself. When the improbable of him finding an idol happened, Andrew directed his vote to Mike, sending him to the jury and ruining Katherine's final three plan of her, Mike, and Justin. Mike went on to vote for her ally Katherine to win the title of Sole Survivor.
