Story[]

Day 25[]

The camera shows the morning of Day 25 in the merged Asana camp. The camera goes straight to shelter where everyone is lying. It shows Susan who is looking at the roof.

The things over here, in Asana, have gotten so crazy at the last Tribal Council. I know that I changed the game, so now, I have two people in the tribe who are angry at me. Mika and Dean didn't see the vote coming at all. I am just worried they'll be angry. In fact, they didn't talk to me at all last night when we came back from Tribal.

–Susan

Susan is standing up as she walks away from the shelter. She sees Elyse sitting in the water and she comes to her. When she walks away, Dean wakes up.

Last night was surprising to say the least. I don't understand what made Susan and Ivane make that move. In my eyes, it's not smart to vote somebody out of your alliance when you have the majority. But I am not going to freak out. I just have to think of some way to save myself. I needed to hear from Mika, so I took her aside.

–Dean

The camera shows Dean and Mika walking towards their water well. Mika is seen very sad.

Dean (in a concerned way): That was... shocking!

Mika (sadly): Yeah...

Mika starts crying as Dean is seen very concerned. He comes to her and hugs her.

Dean (in a calming tone): Come on! Come here, it's gonna be okay. Come on.

Mika (trying to keep the tears in): I just can't believe she did that to us. That they both did it to us.

Dean: Yeah... This is a game, we just have to find a way in.

Mika: I guess. But it's just wrong.

Dean: Oh, I know. Let's just enjoy ourselves if these are the last few days that we'll spend here.

Mika: Okay.

I am very angry at Susan and Ivane for what they've done to us. I really thought that we were solid on the Akans going to the end. I feel so used and so stupid for not believing Tim when he came to us. Now me and Dean have to scramble our way back to the top.

–Mika

Dean and Mika hug each other for a little while.

Dean: Let's kick ass.

Mika: Let's!

The two hug again as Dean kisses Mika on her forehead. Mika smiles at him as the two head back to camp.

Me and Mika don't have much at this point. What we have though is an alliance that you can't break. We're never writing the other's name down. In this game, even if it's just one person, it's good to have someone you know you'll be able to trust.

–Dean

The camera switches to the conversation between Elyse and Susan.

Elyse: What's up, lady?

Susan: I am worried that they'll be angry.

Elyse: Even if they are, they'll be okay when this is over. We just have to make it to the end no matter what. They won't hold it against you.

Susan: No, I know that. I just don't know if they'll explode on me or not.

Elyse: Yeah, I understand.

Susan washes her feet as she is looking at Elyse.

After the huge change of power last night, two people in the tribe are pissed off, Mika and Dean. And I understand that completely. It's just that in this game, you have to make moves before they are made to you. Mika and Dean just wanted to wait and it backfired on them.

–Elyse

Elyse: You know that this is actually pretty similar to chess. You have to take the figures out no matter the way.

Susan: Yeah. I bet Martin is happy his figure wasn't taken out last night.

Elyse: He must be. However, he's the biggest threat at this point. I'm afraid he'll have to go home next. It'd be stupid for us to keep him in here.

Susan: I agree.

The plan at this point is to vote Martin out the next chance we get. He's the strongest guy here. He always finishes as one of the first. He needs to be voted out.

–Susan

The camera goes to later that day as Martin is standing at the fire pit with John next to him.

John: You see, it's a brand new friggin' day!

Martin and John fist bump each other as they are both seen very happy.

Oh, my LORD! I am still here! I had to double pinch myself to find out if I was dreaming or not this morning. The girls saved my butt yesterday and I owe them big time. However, this is a game. I don't owe a thing in the course of this game.

–Martin

Martin: It worked out perfectly.

John: Yeah, but now what?

Martin: I don't know. I just can't get past the fact that I'm still here.

John smiles at that. He thinks of something.

This isn't a tribe-game anymore. Yesterday, all the original loyalties were broken. Now, me and Martin are still on the bottom which sucks as hell. This is a game of survival now. Anything can be done in war, love and Survivor. So, I came up with an idea.

–John

John: This is what I think. The women are obviously together and there's no way of spliting them up. However, they have four votes out of eight. Why don't the other four just align like that? Why don't we get to Dean and Mika and make a revolutionary alliance?

A dong is heard at the background. Martin looks as John with an evil smile. John gives it back to him.

Martin (shocked): I... I... that's genious.

So the Grumpy Geezer Big Ol' Johnny came up with an amazing strategic idea. The girls only have four votes, that's just half of the votes in the tribe. Me and John have to align with Dean and Mika. They will most definitely listen to us. I know they don't wanna be voted out.

–Martin

Martin: We'll have to talk with Mika and Dean.

John: We'll do that when we have the chance to.

Martin: The girls will probably try to get one more vote though. Probably Mika to make it five women.

John: We just have to look after Mika then.

Martin: True.

For the plan to work, we need Mika and Dean. However, the girls aren't stupid. They'll try to get one more vote for them and that's probably going to be Mika. That can't happen. If it does, kill me! I won't spend my time out here with those airheads.

–John

John: This is a game. Gotta play it hard. It's kill or be killed!

Martin nods his head. The camera goes to a conversation at the lunch time where there's everybody in the tribe eating rice. Susan then starts talking.

Susan: Mika, Dean, I just hope you guys aren't angry for what happened last night. It was just for the better of my alliance.

Dean: I mean, I understand that this is a game.

Mika: Yeah. You have to understand that there will be this little bit of a resentment from us towards you. But from the game standpoint, I understand it.

Susan: So, it's okay?

Mika: It is.

Dean: Yeah.

I needed to know if Dean and Mika were angry at the move last night. To me, they seemed okay and they were actually very chill. Something I wouldn't have even imagined them being like. I'm glad though.

–Susan

Dean: I just have one question. From the jury aspect of it all, how does that get you votes? I mean, you just lost three jury votes.

Susan: I don't think I necessarily lost them-

Dean: You did. I don't think Tim is going to vote for you and me and Mika would have a hard time swallowing it too.

Susan: Well,... what can you do?

Susan looks at the ground as Dean and Mika smile.

I was feeling bad for them untill they started going at me. They are just sour grapes. I made move against them and that's what's making them not respect it. Some people just aren't the smartest, let's take it that way.

–Susan

Dean (pushy): No matter the way I look at it, I just don't see you getting enough votes to win. You'd have to have all of the people from the original Minat give you votes, 'cause I know that none of the Akan people will vote for you.

Susan: Yeah...

Dean: That's just the way it is.

Susan: I guess. But I'm not the only one who made the move.

Dean: But, honestly, if I had to choose between you and Ivane, who would get my vote, I'd pick Ivane.

Susan: Oh, okay.

Susan is seen angry as she is walking away with an angry expression. Dean sees that and smiles.

I have to fight for my life in this game. And I'm ready to use the dirty tactics. I'm not just going to sit back and let myself get played. If I can make Susan paranoid, I will. Today, I pushed on Susan's nerves a little bit. I just need some havoc, so that they fracture. And even just small things like these can help at this point.

–Dean

Susan walks away. The camera switches to later that day as Elyse and Lisa are going to get tree-mail.

Lisa: So, how's everything going? Who's gonna be our next target?

Elyse: I talked about it with Susan and we agreed that Martin is our biggest threat at this point. He's just too strong and it'd be dangerous to keep him around.

Lisa: I agree.

The women's alliance is now in control of things in Asana...well, partially. We have four votes and there are still four other people here. We need to get one more on our side. And that's what I needed to discuss with somebody.

–Lisa

Lisa: We need one more vote though.

Elyse: Yeah, I was thinking about that too. I just don't know who that would be.

Lisa: I was thinking, since we have an all-female alliance, why don't we get Mika on our side? We could have five women going to the end.

Elyse: But she won't go against Dean.

Lisa: But the guys won't vote with us.

Elyse: That's true.

Lisa: So, I say we try to get Mika.

The only person that we can sway at this point is Mika. Since she is the only other woman that's not in the alliance, we could just include her. The problem is, she'd have to go against Dean, who she has a very tight bond with. However, if she's strategic, she'll make the move. I believe she will.

–Lisa

Lisa: Is there somethin'?

Elyse: Oh, there is. Let's head back.

Will it be hard trying to get Mika to flip on Dean? Yes, very. But there seems to be no other option right now. We'll have to make her flip. She'll have to play the game hard.

–Elyse

Elyse and Lisa get back to camp.

Elyse: Tree-mail!

Ivane: Already? Oh, gosh.

Martin: Let's read it.

Elyse: Here is a piece of paper for everyone, write down your favorite family meal. You sure miss your family, you'll have a chance to fill up your belly.

Mika: Family?

Martin: Yeah, we have to write down our favorite home-cooked meal.

When I heard about family meals, I was so excited. I just miss every single thing from back home and even if it's just that little piece of food, it's still going to be a nice reminder of what's back home. I am just ready for the challenge, I wanna win so bad. And it was also very nice getting to know, what every single person has as they favorite. (laughs) Poor Ivane couldn't decide.

–Mika

Ivane: I have about sixty different types of food I'd like to eat. I don't know which one to pick.

Mika: The one that best reminds you of home.

Ivane: Burned pancakes?!?

Mika laughs when she hears that.

I didn't know which food to choose. I would have to pick probably about ten different types of food. I couldn't decide between three: kabob with mashed potatoes, a steak with chips or a banana cheesecake. It reminded me of my life back home and that I have to make it to the end for my daughter. I have to.

–Ivane

Martin: What did you guys pick? I chose a filet with chips.

Dean: Oh, good one. I chose a strawberry cake.

Mika: You'll eat a cake?!?

Dean: Yeah, I'm cravin' sugar.

Elyse: I picked pancakes with butter and a lot of sugar.

Lisa: I have mashed poatoes with chicken strips covered in onions with red peppers on it, grilled with cheese.

Elyse: That's like a full-on recipe.

Everybody laughs.

Mika: I got grilled beef steak with grilled vegetables.

John: I just have home-made bread with eggs.

Mika: Did you already decide on anything, Ivane?

Ivane: Yeah, I'll take the pork steak with chips.

Mika: Good choice.

The tribe continues the conversation as the camera goes to the challenge area. The whole tribe walks in there. Everybody is seen happy. Probst then starts talking. He describes the challenge. He then describes the reward.

Probst: In tree-mail today, you recieved a piece of paper. You'll all give that to me. I'll send it to a restaurant here, in Malaysia. They'll cook those meals for you. You'll go to one of the most iconic places in Malaysia, the Bat Caves. There, you'll eat your home cooked meals, including the meals of all the losers. Worth playing for?

Everybody: Yeah!

Probst then splits the castaways into two teams. Wearing red are Dean, Susan, Elyse and John. Wearing green are Martin, Lisa, Ivane and Mika. Probst starts the challenge. Both teams jump in the water as they are trying to climb over a see-saw on water. Red team flips over and falls in the water. Green team is right behind. Everyone climbs on the pontoon in front of the balance beam. Red team flies over it as they are to the other side really quickly. Ivane and Lisa fall down for the green team though, costing them a lot of time. The red team is already out of the water as they are untying the knots on their chest. Ivane and Lisa hold hands as they get across together. Martin is not very happy with their performance. The red team has their chest untied as they are running with it towards their tower. Green team is doing the untying as the red team clips thei chest onto a rope. They then have to climb up. Susan goes first as she is not very strong and she falls to the ground on her first attempt. The green team catches up as they have their chest clipped in. Martin flies up the ramp. Susan is right behind him. Lisa gets to it as she is very slow. Elyse overruns Lisa and she is to the top. John is climbing in a little bit of a faster pace than Lisa. Lisa gets to the top as John does too. Mika climbs to the top very quickly and so does Dean. The red team is to the top. They are already starting on their puzzle. Ivane climbs to the top very fast as the green team catches up. Susan leads the red team through the puzzle as we all know she's good at those. The green team is led by Lisa and Martin. They are working together well. Susan, however, has only two pieces left as she is very fast. Martin and Lisa can't find their next one as they are losing time. Susan gets her last piece in as the red team opens their chest. Lisa finally places a piece for the green team. Susan places the final piece from the box as the red team wins reward.

Probst: Red team wins! Dean, Susan, Elyse and John going to the Bat Caves.

The red team celebrates as they jump around and they hug and do all kinds of crazy stuff. Everyone then gathers in front of Jeff as he tells the winners that the reward will take part the following day. Everybody grabs their stuff and they head back to camp. The camera cuts to break. It then appears later that day as everyone is coming back to camp.

Martin: Good luck to the winners, better luck next time for the losers.

Susan: Thank you, Martin.

Martin: You're welcome.

Everybody hugs as they head many different ways out.

So, I won another reward challenge today and it's such an amazing feeling. I know that some people will be jealous of me. But I don't care, I'll just enjoy my reward.

–Susan

The camera shows Susan lying in the shelter with Ivane.

Susan: I just want some food.

Ivane: You'll get it, sister. Enjoy my steak.

Susan: Thank you.

Ivane: So, what's the plan now?

Susan (whispering, looking around): Martin needs to go home.

Ivane: Okay.

Susan: Also, we have to try to get Mika on our side to secure our spot in the tribe.

Ivane: Okay, I understand.

The plan at this point is to have five women voting together against the men. We need to try to get Mika to vote with us. I'm sure she'll want to stay with Dean, so I don't know how that'll work. But we have to make it happen, the women need to stick it out. We're so close.

–Ivane

The camera switches to conversation between Mika and Ivane with Lisa in the woods.

Mika: I wanted this reward so bad. How great would it be to get a meal from home?

Ivane: Pretty cool, huh? We'll all be stuck here.

Mika: Yeah, sucks.

Me and Ivane went to Mika this afternoon to see if she would be willing to vote with us. We needed to make her feel like she was a huge part of this move. We knew that is we started to talk about rocks, she'd listen to us.

–Lisa

Lisa: Mika, we have something we need to discuss with you. Would you have a problem voting with the women? We just think that if we, as women, stick together, we'll be able to beat the guys.

Mika: I wouldn't have a problem with that. No.

Ivane: Really?

Mika: Yeah, I know that I don't have a shot against the guys. I just don't know, I can't crush Dean like that.

Ivane: He'll be alright. I say a million is worth more than a friendship with one guy.

Mika: Yeah...

Who do you think I am? I don't go behind a friend's back just for a million dollars. I may have even gone along with the plan, but the thing that concerned me was that I am the last girl to know. Where does that leave me? On the bottom of that alliance.

–Mika

Lisa: Of course we don't want to go to rocks.

Mika: Yeah, me neither.

Ivane: So, are you considering it?

Mika: No, I'm in.

Ivane: Are you sure?

Lisa: You have to be a hundred-

Mika: I am ready to do it.

Lisa and Ivane look at each other as the three women fist bump each other.

I can't tell them that I'm not in with them, they would see me as an opponent which I don't want them to think. If me telling them that I'm with them keeps them from freaking out, I am ready to do it. However, it's me and Dean at this point.

–Mika

The camera switches to a conversation after Mika leaves the girls alone.

Ivane: So what?

Lisa: I think she's deliberating. It's fifty fifty.

Ivane: I guess. Mika needs to be with us.

I am still unsure of what Mika will do. She could be just playing us. She didn't seem comfortable with the move at all. But in the end, when comes down to it, she should do what we asked her to do. This move will decide whether the women's alliance will live for long or if it will have to turn on each other.

–Lisa

Ivane: I just...

Lisa: Yeah...

The camera shows the two ladies having a conversation and then walking towards the sea. The camera switches to Dean and Mika that are talking in the woods.

Mika: This is what happened, Lisa and Ivane came to me and they've told me that I should vote with the women to protect myself from going to rocks. I told her that I'd do this-

Dean (in a concerned way): But you wouldn't, would you?!?

Mika (calming): No, never. But this is what I think. I think we should keep them thinking that I'm with them. In reality, we should align with the other two. I don't think we stand a chance if we just sit around.

Dean: You wouldn't have a problem with going to rocks?

Mika: Would you?

Dean: No, not at all.

Mika: Me neither.

Mika came up to me with information about the girls wanting to work with her. If she goes with them, I'm screwed. I don't believe she will, she told me she won't and I hope I can believe her. However, we can't be just sitting ducks, we need to save ourselves. So, I'll try to have a conversation with John on the reward and then she'll talk about the same thing with Martin. This may be our only shot to make it through.

–Dean

Dean: I'll talk to John at the reward to see wher his head is at. He needs to go along, he wouldn't be stupid and just let the girls vote all of us out. At least that's what I hope for.

Mika: Yeah, I can talk to Martin then.

Dean: Sounds like a plan.

Mika: Sounds like it.

The two hug.

Me and Dean both know that we can trust each other and nobody can break our bond. We now need to find ways to make it through the game. The girls won the battle, they didn't win the war. They'll see what is in this little 90 pound body. (laughs) I'm telling you!

–Mika

Mika and Dean head back to camp. The camera shows Susan for a little bit walking around and then cuts to break.

Day 26[]

The camera appears on the morning of the next day. It appears on the moment that a boat arrives to take the winners of the reward challenge to their reward.

Elyse: The reward is here, guys, let's go!

Susan: Let's head out to another adventure.

Mika: Have fun!

Dean: Thanks, babe!

Mika: Don't call me 'babe'!

Everybody laughs as the winners sit on the boat and the boat gets on its way. The losers wave the winners goodbye.

Ivane: And they're gone...

Mika: Let's have a day full of rice.

Martin: Yes, let's!

The camera shows the losers walking back to their camp as it starts raining. They hide in the shelter as the winners are riding the boat. They are talking and having fun.

As we were heading out, it started raining. All I was thinking about was how unfortunate are the poor guys that had to stay back at camp. However, I told myself that I'll enjoy the reward and not think about that. As we arrived to this beautiful beach, a tour guide came to us and he took us further into the jungle.

–Dean

The castaways are seen following their tour guide. They are walking through a jungle where there are huge bugs and snakes everywhere. They then get to a huge hole in a rock.

John: Now, that's a cave!

Susan: Sure.

Elyse: It's beautiful!

Once we got to the first cave, you could see that there was just this little road there. It looked slippery. While we were getting under the ground, we slipped every few times. But once you're there, you see this beautiful tunnel full of rocks handing from the roof and from the ground too. And then you see those little black things hanging from the rooftop. When you get closer, you see that it's bats.

–Elyse

The castaways are standing under the bats.

Guide: You can hear them sings songs every now and then.

Dean: I hear it.

Elyse: Yeah.

When we were standing under the bats, they started singing love sings. Like lovebirds, but those were lovebats. The tourguide then told us about a story that the natives here came up with before they found out that it was bats who sang.

–Susan

Guide: The shaman told them there lives a nymph that sings songs to find a lover. It was said that when you follow her voice, you can find her sitting here. She has long blonde hair and she's nakes. Once you get to her, she kills you with an angry song and she takes your lungs out. It was said that she collected lungs of all the men that came here. That's why only women went here.

Susan: Why did they include the lungs in the story.

Guide: Well, a tribe of women lived in these caves and they for real ate male lungs.

Elyse (disgusted): Ew, disgusting.

There were about six levels of the caves. Then we came to an opening and there waited the food. When we saw it, we went right at it. We were like animals.

–Susan

Everyone is seen indulging in food. They are eating everything that is around.

We kept eating for about 40 minutes untill everything was over with. And then came a woman dressed as a muse and she brought 4 envelopes to us. We all started crying because we knew what it was.

–Dean

Muse: Excuse me, here are your letters.

Elyse (shocked, on the verge of crying): What?!?

Everybody starts crying as they take their letters and they head out in different directions. Elyse sits under a little waterfall. She is reading hers and she cries all the time.

Hearing from the people you love, from your family, it was absolutely amazing. We are here for almost a month and we didn't evem have a chance to hear from the people that we love. When I read my letters, I was crying happy because I heard that nothing has happened to nobody and that my sister is pregnant, I couldn't believe it.

–Elyse

Elyse (happy, with tears): Here you go, Wanda!

I was so happy for my little sister because the doctors told her that she was infertile. But she's done it, she is pregnant. I am so happy right now. (wipes oiff tears) I love her... And I also heard from my boyfriend, Kacey. I love him so much and I can't wait to hug him again.

–Elyse

The camera switches to Susan sitting at the table alone. She is smiling and wiping off her tear every now and then.

Getting a letter from my mom and my sister encouraging me to keep going was amazing. They told me that I should never think about what I do and just do it. They also wrote '...don't ever feel guilty for it, it would remind you of him...' referring to my past relationship in which I was abused and 'HE' just did those horrible things to me. I know that I have to be cruel and deadly in this game, and now I have a full tank and I'm ready to go all the way. I ain't stopping untill I'm there. Also, it was really nice to see the other people react to their letters. Such as John, I never thought I'd see him crying.

–Susan

The camera switches to John who is seen crying out a lot when he reads a letter from his wife.

Getting a letter from my wife, Andrea, was just pure amazing. I couldn't just keep the tears in, I had to let them go. I love my wife so much and that's how much. I just cried out my while love to that woman. She's the most beautiful creature I know. I'll never leave her again. I need to be with her for as long as I can.

–John

The camera then goes to Dean who reads his letter and he is looking very sad.

Dean (shocked, disappointed and in dispair): No, that can't be true!

Dean falls to his knees at the letter and he cries a lot. John sees it and he comes to him as well as Susan.

John (concerned): What's going on, boy?

Dean (in pain): My dad has a tumor and he's in the hospital...

John and Susan take Dean as they are calming him down.

Susan (crying): Oh, I'm so sorry for that, Dean.

Elyse (concerned): What's going on?

John: His dad has a tumor and he's in the hospital.

Elyse (sad): Oh, no...

Dean is seen crying as well as everyone else.

When I was reading it, I kept saying to me: 'There won't be anything bad written here.' And then... crying) Sorry. I just felt like a part of me was taken away. I need to see my father. I need to see him. I don't know if I can be in this game when he's in the hospital. I just need to know what's going on. (crying)

–Dean

That's the worst news that this boy could've gotten. I just remember how I felt when I was told that my tumor could come back. And Dean is just a young man. I don't know why life is such a bitch at points but this is not what the guy deserved. If he feels like he should be with his dad, then maybe it's best for him to go home.

–John

Dean (in pain): Why? Why was it him? I can't be here now.

Elyse: You'd regret leaving. It's just 13 days now. Finish this for your father. You'll be able to take care of him when you have the money.

Susan: Yeah, make it through for your father.

Poor Dean, he is feeling so hurt right now. I thought that the reward was going to be a place that we'd enjoy, but I guess it's completely different. But Dean can't quit. He needs to finish this for his father, that's the only way that this adventure would be worth it.

–Elyse

Dean: I guess I'll stay here for him.

Susan: Yeah, do that.

Everyone gets up as they sit at the table.

The others talked me out of quitting, and I'm glad because I know that I'll feel better. And my dad will too. I need to win this whole thing for him. I just need to not think about it. Let's get back to business, and that's playing the game.

–Dean

The camera shows Elyse and Susan walking away from the table to use the restroom. John and Dean look at them and when they can't see them anymore, they start talking.

Dean: God...

John: I know that you feel horrible now, but would you be up for hearing me out?

Dean: Strategy?

John: Yes.

Dean: Yeah.

I know that the kid was feeling horrible, but this is a game. And when the game needs playing, the players gotta play. I needed to plea my case to him, before anybody else did. That way I could get his vote.

–John

John: The thing is, we are on the bottom, right? So, I thought that we shouldn't just let the girls play us. Me, you, Martin and Mika should stick together and strong against the girls.

Dean: That's what we've been thinking too.

John: That's great then.

Dean: We need to vote out Susan. She's running that alliance and she's the most powerful of them all. She's just not being loyal.

John: I agree. So, done deal?

Dean: Deal.

The two shake hands as the women come back. The four then discuss some things.

This is gonna be a hard game for me now but I know that I have to play this game as hard as I can. I've got a shot to stay, so I'm not giving it up. Susan is going home if we can pull this move off. She's going down.

–Dean

The camera shows Susan as it cuts to break. The camera then reappears in the afternoon back a camp. Lisa is lying in the shelter with Mika. Ivane and Martin are in the forest, trying to get more firewood. Lisa and Mika are talking in the shelter.

Mika: Man, oh, man. I'm hungry.

Lisa: Yeah, me too. Dang, I needed food.

As I was lying in the shelter with Mika, we were complaining about the food situation and about the rain, I needed to see what she was thinking. We need to know if she's going with us or not. And that's our lifeline at this point, getting Mika on our side.

–Lisa

Lisa: This is what I think. If you go with us, then in my opinion, you are in a way better position to play this game. Both sides, me and Elyse, but also Ivane and Susan, will want your vote at the final five. You're not number five if you go with us. You're the wildcard if you go with us.

Mika: Is that what you're seriously thinking?

Lisa: Well, I know that I'll want your vote. And Susan and Ivane would be stupid not to want your vote.

Mika: That's new to me, I wasn't even thinking about that.

Lisa: That's the main reason that you should flip sides. It will be beneficial for all of us.

Mika: Yeah.

Lisa: Just think about it.

My job today is to flip Mika to our side. If I can do that, the women's alliance will last till the end of this game. I needed to use anything. that I could think of, in my advantage. I didn't mean many of what I said to her honestly, I am just trying to get her vote. And I think I'm on the right track.

–Lisa

Mika lies back in the shelter and thinks about what Lisa just said.

I don't know if Lisa is just feeding me with lies or if she's being serious. What she says seems very realistic to me. She almost had me going with her. But I just can't go against Dean. That would be like killing my own family. I just don't know at this point.

–Mika

The camera sitches to later that day. Lisa and Ivane are going fishing as Martin and Mika remain at camp.

Martin: Rainy days, how much I love 'ya!

Mika smiles at Martin's funny jokes.

Martin: Would you, please, give me that rice?

Mika (handing the rice over): Here you are.

Martin: Thank you.

Today, I got a chance to talk to Mika. As we agreed with John, I needed to give her the idea of the four on the bottom aligning to gain some power in the tribe.

–Martin

Martin: From a strategic standpoint, are you willing to listen to me?

Mika: Lay it on me.

Martin: Me and John think that the best move for us all would be to stick together against the girls. They have too much power and they'll vote us off one by one if we don't do something.

Mika: Right. We've talked about that with Dean too.

Martin: It would be Susan or Elyse, right?

Mika: Probably.

Mika nods her head as they continue the conversation.

Martin told me that him and John were thinking about joining forces with me and Dean to form an alliance of the four outcasts. And to be honest with you, that seems like the move to make at this point. The girls have head the lucky star on their side for too long now. It's time the star falls of the sky. I need to talk with Dean about this after he gets back but it's suddenly looking good for us.

–Mika

Mika: This is what will save us all.

Martin: Yeah, we have to do it.

The camera shows Mika cooking the rice as Martin is watching her.

I know that the girls will be voting my direction if we go to Tribal Council. I am too much of a threat to them. But that's why I've gotta scramble for my life. And I am not gonna give up. This is my chance to stay in this game. Let's go.

–Martin

The camera shows the two of them for a little more as it cuts to break. It appears when the winners are coming back from their reward. Everybody comes to congratulate them.

Mika: Hey, guys! Welcome back to camp!

Ivane: How was it?

John: More emotional than we thought. We got our letters from home.

Martin: Oh, sh*t...

John: It wasn't good though.

Lisa: How come?

Dean (sadly): My dad has tumor and he's in the hospital...

Everybody stops talking suddenly. Mika comes to Dean and hugs him.

When he came and told me that, I almost broke down as if it was about one of the members of my family. I grew so close to Dean and to hear something like that, it broke my heart. We now just have to keep his head in the game.

–Mika

Mika: I'm sorry.

Dean: It's okay.

Everyone is being so nice to me. And it helps my mind not think about my dad. I guess I need it. If they can keep me not thinking about the disease, I think everything will be alright. Hence, gotta play the game...

–Dean

The two hug for a little more as the camera goes to the sky. It shows an eagle and it then turns to night. It then switches to the morning of the next day.

Day 27[]

The camera shows the ocean being very dirty as the sky is already clear. The camera then switches to all the women sitting in the shelter as Martin and Dean are out getting the tree-mail and John is collecting firewood.

Mika: I just feel so much for Dean. I don't know how I'd do if I got a letter saying something like that to me.

Susan: Yeah, I'd probably quit.

Ivane: That's what we need him to keep away from. He'd regret it.

Mika: Yeah.

I know that if Dean quit, he'd regret it for forever. He needs to stay here and make his daddy proud. We all feel for him though and that's why we know that he's gonna wanna quit and we have to keep him away from that thought.

–Ivane

Mika: I'll go get some water. John, are you coming too?

John: Yeah, why not!

Susan: Have fun!

John and Mika head out as the girls indulge in a conversation.

Susan: So, is she with us?

Lisa: I tried as hard as I could. I felt like if I pushed more, she'd never be willing to align herself with us. We just need to let her think about it.

Susan: Sure.

The game at this point is in the hands of Mika. She's controlling how the voting's gonna go. Whether she'll side with us or she'll go to rocks. And quite honestly, if she went against us, she'd be risking rocks and going home. And nobody wants to risk that.

–Susan

The camera goes to John and Mika that are running after Martin and Dean. Once they catch up to them, the four start talking.

Mika: So, have you guys talked?

John: Yes, we're all onboard for voting out Susan right?

Martin: Yes.

Dean: Yeah.

Mika: That's great. They still think that I'm with them though.

Martin stops the group from walking when he hears that.

Martin: That's great! We can work with that. Just keep playing it up like you're with them. They won't see this coming. Keep playing up the role of a girl who's unsure what to do.

Mika: That's a great idea!

If the girls think that Mika is with them, then that's great news to us. If she plays the role of a girl that's in the middle, we'll be able to blindside the girls tonight. We just need to cover our bases and tie the loose ends. This is the opening.

–Martin

Mika: John, let's head back, so they're not suspicious.

John: Yeah, bye, guys!

Mika and John run back to camp and to the tribe's water well as Martin and Dean continue walking towards their tree-mail. When they get there, they pick the tree-mail up and head back to camp. They then start reading the mail.

Martin: You played this game as kids, come back to your childhoods midst. This challenge will launch up your chances, help you survive tonight's circumstances.

Susan: We'll be launching something.

Martin: I guess so.

I know that my head is still on the chopping block, so today I'll be trying to win immunity. If I can get that extra piece of comfort with me, that's great. I also hope that Susan doesn't win. It would screw our plan up.

–Martin

The camera goes to the sky and appears on the challenge course at one of the beaches. The castaways come in, as Probst is already standing on his usual spot.

Probst: Final eight! Ready for today's challenge?

Everybody: Yes!

Probst: First thing's first, Mika, I'll take the immunity back. Immunity back up for grabs.

Probst then describes the challenge. He then gives everybody a minute to prepare for the challenge. Everybody is placed at their spot and the challenge starts. Everyone runs into the water. Martin is to his bag of puzzle pieces first and he is untying it. Dean is right behind him. Right behind them is Ivane and Mika is right behind Ivane. Susan gets her first piece right after the first four are already running back. Ivane drops her bag in the ocean and is trying to catch. Martin and Dean are already at their see-saw. Martin places his first and he jumps. The bag flies up, but it bounces off from the platform back to the sand. Dean launches his and lands it. He is running for his second bag. Mika launches hers, but since she is very small, her bag only flies half-way. Martin launches his and gets it in. Susan launches hers and gets it in as well. Ivane gets her piece as Lisa is back to the shore and Elyse is already launching hers. John unties his bag of pieces, but he forgets to catch it and the bag is floating away from the course. John now has to catch his bag in the ocean. Elyse lands her first and she is heading in the ocean. Martin unties his second one. Dean does too and the two are coming back. Ivane lands hers and she is coming back. Mika finally gets hers in and she is running for her second bag. Susan unties her second bag and she is coming back. Dean launches his second in and gets it and he is running to get his third and final one. Martin launches his but overshoots. Lisa lands her first one. John is swimming back with his first one. Susan launches her second and gets it in. Martin has his second in too and he is heading out for his last one. Ivane gets her second in and so does Elyse. Lisa is coming back with her second bag. Dean gets his third bag and he is coming back. Susan gets hers and Martin gets his. Ivane has her third as well. Martin gets to the beach at the same time as Dean. The two are both panicking and they both miss on their first shots. Lisa lands her second one and she is heading out. John gets his first one in and he is heading out. Dean launches his and he overshoots. John is back with his second one. He launches it on top of his head. Dean launches his and misses again. Martin launches his, but shoots to a completely different part of the course. Susan launches hers and she gets it in.

Probst: Susan wins immunity!

Martin is seen very angry that Susan has immunity. He throws his buff to the ground in an angry way. Dean is seen disappointed and tired too. Mika pats Susan on the back. Lisa is just coming back from the sea. Everybody stands in front of Jeff like they always do.

Probst: Susan, come on over.

Susan: I gladly will.

Probst (as he is putting the necklace around Susan's neck): Susan, safe tonight at Tribal Council, has immunity. One of the seven of you will be voted out and will become the second member of our jury. Grab your stuff, see you at Tribal. Congrats.

Susan (tired): Thank you.

Everybody grabs their stuff as they are heading out back to camp. The camera cuts to break. It then reappears later on that day as the castaways are walking back to camp.

Elyse: Congratulations, Susan!

Mika: Yeah, great job!

Susan: Thank you, guys.

Everybody congratulates Susan and they hug with her.

I won the immunity challenge today which means that there's no way I'll be voted out. Though, I still don't feel safe at all. The whole camp lays in the hands of one little Asian girl. I hope she chooses to side with us. The most important thing is that Martin doesn't have immunity. He's gotta go.

–Susan

The camera shows Susan drinking as Martin is looking around himself with a nervous expression.

I have a newborn alliance with Mika and Dean and with John. However, they could just decide to vote off the biggest threat. That being me. I needed that immunity to feel safe and I didn't do it. What's worse, Susan got immunity, so the plan has to change.

–Martin

The camera switches to a conversation between all the women in the water.

Susan (in excitement): He doesn't have immunity!

Susan fist bumps with all of the women.

Lisa: So, are already set on the way you'll vote tonight, Mika?

Mika: I don't know. I just feel like blindsiding Dean is going to hurt me in front of the jury.

Elyse: Not if we're the jury.

Mika: I know. I guess...

Ivane: So, it's Martin no matter what, right?

Mika: Yeah.

Susan: Of course.

So now I have to play the girl that's in the middle of it all. I don't like lying to people but this game demands it. And right now, it's important for my alliance for me to play the girl that just follows along.

–Mika

Mika: I mean, Martin is the biggest threat, so...

Everybody agrees as they nod their heads. Mika then walks away as Susan is looking at her with a nervous expression. She gets up too and walks away from the women.

I don't believe what Mika is saying is a truth. She makes too obvious being in the middle. If she really wanted to make a huge decision, she'd already make it. The problem is, if she's not on our side, then we have to go to rocks... And I don't like that.

–Susan

The other women start talking.

Lisa: I don't know about you ladies, but I don't trust Mika.

Ivane: I am sure we can trust her. She'll make that decision, she knows that Martin is the biggest threat.

Lisa: Are you sure?

Ivane: Yeah, yeah.

I'm not sure about the vote tonight. Mika seems like she's undecided even though she pretends to be dead set on voting for Martin. And at camp, it seems like everything is turning upside down. People are talking everywhere, it scares me.

–Lisa

Ivane: I am sure, she'll vote with us.

Elyse: We'll just have to fight for her vote at Tribal.

Ivane: Yeah.

Tonight's Tribal Council will decide the way this game is going to go. There's nothing that I can do at this point, but to watch what happens. If Mika sides with us, great. If she doesn't, I could be going home. I am hoping that that doesn't happen.

–Ivane

Ivane is seen with only her head from the water as she is lying in the shelter with a worried expression. The camera then goes to a conversation between John, Martin, Mika and Dean.

Martin: So, that sucks. She won immunity.

Mika: Who should we vote for noa?

John: I think Elyse is the biggest threat at this point. She is smart and she's physical. She'll be hard to beat in front of the jury too.

Martin: I agree.

Dean: I don't. I think we should take Lisa out of this game. She's the older lady that nobody will notice untill she wins the game. To me, she seems like a bigger threat than Elyse.

Mika: So...

John: I still think Elyse.

At this point, we still can't decide whether to vote for Elyse or Lisa. They are both threats in different ways. I don't have a problem writing neither down. Just tell me a name and I'll wave them goodybe with a jerky smile. As long as it's not me. (viciously smiles)

–John

Mika: Then it has to be...

The alliance continues talking. The camera goes to later that day as everybody is packing their stuff. Dean takes Susan aside from camp.

I decided to make a last ditch effort to Susan. I am in this game to win now and this was my chance to make a move. I know that Susan isn't willing to go to rocks. She said it numerous times back at the old Akan and I don't think she changed since then much. I think if I use the right words, there's some possibility of changing this game.

–Dean

Dean (in almost a diplomatic way): So, you know I'm still angry at what you've done. But you need to know something. If we go to rocks tonight and one of the girls picks a rock, you're going home the next week a hundred percent.

Susan: How do you know?

Dean: Well, it was originally going to be you tonight. But since you've won immunity, we had to change the vote. I also need you to know that Mika isn't flipping.

Susan: Was she just playing it?

Dean nods his head.

Susan: Well, we'll go to rocks then.

Dean: You'll go home the next week then.

Susan: One of my allies would have to pick the wrong colored rock first.

Dean: And there's a huge possibility that they will. Why risk your spot when you can just save yourself?

Susan: Because I'd loose my position?

Dean: You may loose it anyway.

Susan: I may.

Dean: That's the thing. You know that if tonight doesn't go your way, your game could be done in a matter of days.

Susan: It will be if I go with you guys anyway?

Dean: That's called a gamble. You've gotta scramble to make a gamble. If you wanna save yourself, vote for Lisa tonight. If you don't, you're gone the next week.

Dean looks at Susan very intensively. Susan is seen very confused.

Now Dean comes up to me 5 minutes before Tribal saying that I should save myself or I'm going home the next week. I don't see that happening. But at the same time, chance is a jerk. Do I take the risk and go to rocks or do I take an even bigger risk and screw my spot in the tribe, just so I'm not screwed all the way? I don't know.

–Susan

The camera shows all the members of the Asana tribe walking across their beach. They then appear in the Tribal Council area, setting down their torches and sitting down in front of Jeff.

Probst: We'll now bring in the first member of the jury. Tim, voted out at the last Tribal Council. Jury is here just to listen, they can't talk to you, you can't talk to them.

Tim sits down on his jury seat as he is looking at the tribe with a very angry expression. Some try to smile at him but he is just killing them with his stare.

Probst: So, let's talk about the last few days. Elyse, you and Lisa were a reason that the old Minat tribe was destroyed. Do you regret that decision?

Elyse: I don't regret it in the slightest. It got me here. If I hadn't made that move, Icould've been gone that night just by picking a rock and that seemed way too dangerous at that point to me.

Probst: At that point?

Elyse: Well, tonight's probably going to come down to rocks anyway. But today I am willing to go there. I have no other way, the all-female alliance needs to stay strong.

Susan looks at the ground with that comment as Tim is shaking his head.

Probst: Lisa, so there is an all-female alliance afterall?

Lisa: Yes, there is.

Probst: And who's in the alliance?

Lisa: The alliance consits of me, Elyse, Susan and Ivane... and possibly Mika.

Tim is shocked.

Probst: Mika, are you in the middle right now?

Mika: I most definitely am. Both sides came to me this afternoon to plea their cases. On one side I have the all-female alliance which would be great to be with but that would mean screwing my closest ally, Dean. And I'm not feeling great about that.

Probst: Susan, how do you make sure that Mika goes with your alliance?

Susan: Mika is the fifth woman in our alliance. If she goes with us, she has a way better position in the tribe then she does with the men, because she's just a girl. Those three would beat her in a heartbeat.

Probst: Dean, how do you keep Mika on your side?

Dean: All four of us know how it feels like being on the bottom. We have that in common. If we stick together, we're all on the same level.

Martin: And if she goes with the woman, she's the fifth one out. Last one to come, first one to go. That's exactly how that works.

Probst: Do you seriously believe that, Martin?

Martin: Yes. If you look at it, the four women have a history together. They aren't going to just include one other girl in their plans, when that girl joined the ride too late. Mika has no chance of staying with that alliance. They'd take her out as soon as they'd want.

Lisa: I don't agree with that. If she joins our alliance, she's in the middle. There will be two sides wanting her vote. Me and Elyse would want her to vote with us and so would Susan and Ivane. If she goes with us, she has all the power solely in her hands. That to me sounds a lot nicer than going to rocks.

Ivane and Susan nod their heads.

Mika: It does sound nice. If that's true though.

Probst nods his head at that.

Probst: John, what would happen tonight if it were a perfect world?

John: In the perfect world, there wouldn't be no rocks. If there's somebody that is willing to go down this stupid road and go home because of a rocjk, good luck.

Probst: Dean, at the reward today, you have gotten a letter from home telling you something that didn't feel nice at all.

Dean: No, it really didn't. My father has a tumor and he's in the hospital because he blanked out. I don't know what's going to happen to him and I'm worried.

Probst: Would you rather quit than to spend the time here?

Dean: I don't know. I am telling myself that winners never quit and quitters never win. But at the same time, it's family. And there's nothing more important than family. You know...

Tim is seen showing a little sadness.

Dean (with tears in his eyes): ...hell, it's my father...

Dean starts crying all of a sudden. Elyse is seen crying too.

Probst: Elyse, what is the emotion?

Elyse (tears coming down her face, sadness): I just don't know how I'd react to something like that. I'd probably just loose it if my father had a tumor. It's mostly despair, Jeff.

Probst: Mika, can you feel for Dean?

Mika: Of course. Dean is like my best friend out here and having heard something like that has happened to him, it's horrible. I don't know why world is so unfair at certain points.

Probst: John, you also had tumor. Can you relate to him?

John: I most definitely can. It's hard hearing that you'll have to go through chemotherapy and stuff like that itself. But to hear that about a family member, honetsly, I think that hurts even more. I can't imagine that my wife, my mother or one of my children would have that. I'd probably kill myself.

Probst: Martin, a Tribal Council ago, you felt worried. Do you feel the same way tonight?

Martin: It's the completely same feeling. I still feel as though people see me as a threat and if something goes wrong, I could still see myself walking out of the Tribal Council tonight.

Probst: Susan, how do you make a move at this point in the game?

Susan: There's so many friggin' aspects of this game that you have to consider that you're head just starts spinning after a while. You have to look at every single possibility of gameplay and then you have to choose the way that you'll go.

Probst: Is it a hard decision tonight?

Susan: For some more than others. But at this point, every move is going to be hard, because you like these people. However, I know that I have to be a coldhearted bitch to win this game.

Everybody smirks at that as Tim on the jury chuckles.

Probst: Susan, you have immunity tonight. You can either keep it for yourself or you can give it up. What are you going to do?

Susan: I'll keep it.

Probst: With that, Susan has immunity, cannot be voted out. Everybody else is fair game. It is time vote. John, you're up.

The castways make their way to the voting urn one by one. Intense music is playing in the background. It especially intensifies when Susan, Mika and Dean are casting their votes. Martin is seen being very nervous. Tim is shaking his head everytime somebody looks at him. Jeff then goes tally the votes. Everyone is nervous. Probst then comes back.

Probst: Once the votes are read, the decision is final. Person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

Probst nods his head as the music from Survivor: Samoa, from the episode were Kelly Sharbaugh is blindsided, can be heard in the background. Martin is seen shaking.

First vote: Martin (1)

Martin is seen giving up all of his hope. John is seen not happy with it at all.

Second vote: Martin (2)

Martin puts his head down.

Third vote: Lisa (1-2)

Lisa nods her head.

Fourth vote: Lisa (2-2)

Fifth vote: Lisa (3-2)

Elyse is looking at Lisa with a calm expression as they smile towards each other as they are expecting to go to rocks. Dean is seen biting his upper lip. Mika looks to the ground.

Sixth vote: Martin (3-3)

Martin is very worried. Mika is looking at Dean as they are both very nervous too. Susan is looking at votes licking her teeth.

Seventh vote: Lisa (4-3)

Lisa and Elyse are shaking her head at Mika as she gives them a 'I'm sorry' expression. Everybody is expecting to go to rocks. Susan is breathes a heavy breath.

Probst: Last vote... Ninth person voted out and the second member of our jury... Lisa.

Lisa opens her mouth wide as everybody is shocked at the vote. Susan looks to the ground. Everybody gets goosebumps. Elyse is looking around very shocked as she is so surprised. Ivane is looking in front of her like she can't understand what's going on. Martin is seen with his eyes open very wide. Mika is shocked but very happy.

Probst: You need to bring me your torch.

Lisa gets up as she gets all of her stuff and grabs her torch. Elyse has mouth open and every now and then she mouths 'Wow'. Susan is looking at Ivane.

Susan (whispering at Ivane): I'm sorry. I had to.

Ivane (whispering back): It's okay.

Tim on the jury is very shocked in a happy way. Dean is seen with a proud smile on his face and he is very happy that his move came through. Lisa places her torch in front of Probst.

Probst: Lisa, the tribe has spoken.

Probst snuffs Lisa's torch as Lisa waves everybody goodbye and she is heading out of the Tribal Council area. Elyse is seen very angry. Everybody else is either happy or over the move already.

Probst: Lisa didn't expect that. And I didn't too. The thing that worries me is that you can't even keep your promises for two votes. And if you continue to do that, then good luck. Grab your torches, head back to camp. Goodnight.

Everybody gets up and they grab their torches. Dean and Mika are seen very happy as Elyse is seen shocked. Martin is smiling and sheking his head. The camera then cuts to break.

Voting Confessionals[]

You are a great lady and I wish you didn't turn on me. Sorry.

–Martin

Strategy.

–Ivane

I don't like you.

–John

You are my friend for life. However, you are also my biggest threat. And threats need to go. Nothing personal.

–Elyse

Final Words[]

I can certainly say that I didn't expect that at all. I just don't know who was the person that flipped. I think it probably was Susan. She flipped on so many people already. If she thinks that this game is about blindsidind as many people as possible, she needs to be corrected. If she makes it to the end, she'll definitely hear from me. I am angry and I will state what I think when I get the chance to. I didn't expect this. To me, keeping Martin in the game was stupid and I don't know how they think they'll beat him now. I am glad I got a chance to play this game and I'd play again in a heartbeat.

  • Susan has to tie the loose ends. 'Ivane, are we okay?' 'It's so hard for me to get over it.'
  • And a family visit brings everybody to their knees. 'Elyse, here is you...' 'Susan, who do you think is here?' 'Oh, my God!'

Author's Notes[]

  • The reward challenge is from Survivor: Cagayan.
