Challenges[]

Elimination Challenge: The Plank
Everyone stands on a narrow plank in the lake. The first person to fall down is eliminated.
Eliminated: Helle.

Story[]

Day 39[]

Tulle Mountain[]

At the last day of the game, the last four contestants were sitting by the bonfire, eating their last meal at the camp.

Nellie: I can't believe this is the last day.
Helle: I know, right? I mean, how did I even get this far? I've lost so many challenges...
Earl: You didn't do that bad.
Helle: I did.

I'm excited for this next challenge. I think it'll be The Plank again. I hope so, because I know I can win that one.

–Earl

I just need to not loose the next challenge. That's all I want; a spot in the final 3.

–Helle

I know I can win this!

–Nellie

Earl is my biggest worry. I can beat Nellie and Helle, so if Earl will just loose this next challenge, I could win. I really could.

–Lysander

The four contestants began tearing down the camp. They knew they wouldn't return, so they took down the shelter and burned it. They then sang one last song around the, now huge, fire.
As they let it burn, they turned around to leave the camp and head to their next challenge.

Challenge[]

As the four arrived, Jeff was waiting for them by a lake in which a plank was located. The same one as last time.

Jeff: Welcome. This is the same challenge as last time. Stand on the plank. If you fall down as the first one, you're out of this game. The last three will be in the finale.

The four stood on the plank for half an hour before anyone started struggling. Lysander was the first one to struggle. He kept trying to get a better hold to the plank, but only barely stayed on the plank.
After a total of 38 minutes, Earl got in trouble too. The wind was irritating him, making him almost fall off the plank.
Eventually, after 42 minutes, Helle gave up and jumped into the water, giving Earl, Lysander and Nellie the final 3 spots in the finale.

Jeff: Helle... I'm sorry to tell you that you're out of this game. Earl, Lysander, Nellie, follow me. The three of you are going to do one final challenge. You are in the finale.

Finale[]

This is not going to end well...

–Lysander

I think Lysander and Nellie are both very strong. They can beat me, for sure. I just have to give it all I have and try my best.

–Earl

Lysander is no trouble. It's only Earl I'm worried about.

–Nellie

Jeff: Alright, guys. In the finale, you will perform a little bit of every challenge you've participated in. This huge obstacle course going through all four mountains you've been at during this game, will test your capability and limits. You will start by climbing this mountain side. Once you're up on the top, you will solve a puzzle, which will give you a key. Once you have this key, you have to jump into the lake and then run up a hill. On the top of the hill, you will run through a small obstacle course, where you have to hang from monkey bars to get through. At the end of this course, you will find a crate with snakes. In this crate is your second key. Get this key, and run down the hill again. Walking over the lake, using a narrow plank, you will have to use your memory to remember what the strongest chili eaten in the chili challenge was called. The correct name will give you a correct key. A wrong name will give you a wrong key and you'll have to run back. You then proceed down an obstacle course, where you walk over a small lake using only a rope. When over, you will destroy pots using sandbags. In three of these pots are keys. Get your fourth key, and move on. You now have to stack ten wooden tiles. Only when all ten tiles are stacked, you may loosen your fifth and final key, by loosening a knot. If your stack falls, you have to let go of the fifth key and stack them again. With the five keys, you unlock a bucket, which you will fill with water from the lake and hang onto a bar. Once there is enough water in it, a fire steel will drop. Use this fire steel to set fire to the Survivor logo. Now, get ready... Go!

Earl and Nellie were neck-and-neck during the mountain climb. Lysander was behind, but not much. None of them really had trouble with it.
The puzzle slowed Nellie down, and opened the door for Lysander. He finished it first, and got his first key. Jumping into the lake, he began jogging up the hill. Earl got his puzzle finished next, and followed Lysander.
While Nellie was still working on the puzzle, Lysander was done with the obstacle course on top of the hill, and had his hand in the crate with snakes. Earl was right behind him.
Nellie finally finished her puzzle, getting her first key. She followed the two others, but was way behind.
Earl got his second key before Lysander, and he ran down the hill again. Lysander got the key, just as Nellie arrived. He followed Earl, who at this point, was walking on the narrow plank. Lysander had trouble on the plank, but managed to get across, only a bit behind Earl.
Earl looked at the board. Nine keys were hanging; three by the name 'Jalapeno', three by 'Bahamian' and three by 'Gambia'. Earl grabbed one of the ones hanging by Bahamian. Lysander took one by Gambia.
Nellie followed them, way behind. As the other two were over the second lake, she picked a key by Bahamian.
Lysander first found his fourth key by destroying a pot with a sandbag. Earl was still throwing sandbags as Nellie arrived. Earl finally found his key, and followed Lysander who was already halfway done with stacking his tiles.
Nellie also got her key, and all three were now stacking tiles.
Lysander had a lot of trouble, and his stack feel over twice. Nellie had trouble too. Earl stacked all ten and began working on the knot. However, while doing so, the tiles fell over. He began stacking again.
Lysander got his final key first, and ran to his bucket. He got four of the locks up, but realized that he had taken the wrong key from the chili board. He had to run back, and he did so.
This opened the door for Earl who now had his final key. He got his bucket free and ran down to the lake to get water. Nellie got her final key too, only a few minutes behind Earl.
Lysander got back with the right key, now way back.
Earl got back with his water first, and placed it on the bar, making the fire steel dropping. He began working on the fire.
Nellie got back too, and began working on her fire. Lysander had trouble with the water. Exhausted, he walked back with his bucket of water, only to find Earl getting fire. Nellie only had smoke.
Earl grabbed a torch, lit it and ran towards the big, wooden Survivor logo. He set it on fire, and screamed of joy.
He had won Survivor: Nevada Mountains.

Jeff: Good job, Nellie and Lysander. Earl, congratulations. You are the winner of Survivor: Nevada Mountains!
