Challenges[]

Reward Challenge: Great Balls of Fire:
Two players at a time carry a burning metal ball across a clearing to one of three caldrons using giant chop sticks. When it lands in the caldron, it will light on fire. First tribe to get all three balls in their caldrons, each with a larger pair of chopsticks, wins.
Reward: A herb garden, salt, oil, chili sauce, and the ability to kidnap one member of the losing tribe.
Winners:

Immunity Challenge: In-Cog-Neato:
One at a time, four players run along a path through a field (crisscrossing the other tribe's several times) to reach one of four stations, untie a giant hanging skull-shaped puzzle piece, and haul it back. Then, the two others take the pieces and place them into rotating pieces on a solving platform until they all fit.

Story[]

Night 14[]

Sohar Tribe[]

The scene opens on night 14 as the 6 remaining members of Sohar return to camp after just voting out Carlos. At first, not much is said among the villains, but there is clearly a tension in the air as they lean their torches against a sturdy tree. The camera then focuses in on Deanne, who appears extremely frustrated and angry.

Tonight at tribal, we got rid of Carlos. To be honest, it was not the move that I wanted to make. I wanted to split up the threesome of Brisa, Daphne, and Kris. However, there was no way that I was going to be able to work with Carlos whatsoever! That guy is just a loose cannon who doesn't know how to keep his bloody mouth shut! Not only that, but it doesn't take two functioning brain cells to know that you don't throw your allies under the bus if you expect them to trust you!! So now I need to figure out another way to keep myself in a decent position to move forward in this game.

–Deanne Arbuthnot

Deanne sighs loudly as she picks up a stick before sitting by the fire and holding one end of the stick in the flames. We can see her focusing on the flames and pulling the stick out when the end catches on fire. Brisa then sits next to Deanne as she stares at the burning end of her stick.

Brisa: So I see you're a bit of a pyro! (Giggles)

Deanne (Blowing out the small flame on her stick): Yeah, I guess you can say that. (Giggles)

As Deanne puts the end of her stick back in the fire and continues her light conversation with Brisa, the camera focuses on Peter who leans against the shelter watching them with his arms crossed and a scowl on his face.

Tonight I was SO ready to write down on the parchment the letters D-A-F-F-N-E-Y... (pauses to think) Wait... is that how you spell her name? (Shakes head) Whatever, it doesn't matter. The point is that I wanted to get rid of Daphne at tribal because the best thing we could have done for all of our games, especially mine, is split up the tight Daphne/Brisa/Kris alliance. What we actually did though was go the easy route and vote out Carlos because DEANNE didn't like him and (uses finger quotes) "didn't trust him"! I just can't stand that woman anymore because she's such a controlling bitch. We passed up on a golden opportunity to take control of this tribe because of HER. I'm done with Deanne. I refuse to shape my game to suit her any longer. If that means that she's got to go next, so be it!

–Peter Frandson

As the camera fades out of Peter's confessional, it then turns to Daphne and Kris as they sit in the shelter.

Daphne: Well, there you have it. He's gone!

Kris: It's about damn time!

Daphne (Chuckles): Tell me about it.

Tonight at tribal, Carlos FINALLY got what he deserved! That pathetic excuse for a man is finally out of my life! After he even brought my KIDS into our feud, I just can't believe it took as long as it did to get him out. At least it's done and over with now, though. I can finally start thinking straight and moving forward in this game. Now that Carlos is out of the way, absolutely NOTHING will stand between me and that million dollars!

–Kris Nightingale

Once the camera fades out of Kris's confessional, it then transitions into this season's intro.

Day 15[]

Nizwa Tribe[]

After the intro plays, the camera shows scenes of the Nizwa tribe before transitioning to a shot of the tribe eating breakfast. Much like on Sohar, there is a clear tension in the air given Tina's blindside the previous night. The camera shows close ups of Kyle, Vanessa, Sally, Dean, and Jason and for the first time ever, Nizwa is filled with an awkward silence as nobody has very much to say, not even Vanessa. Once Sally finishes her rice, she stands up and breaks the silence.

Sally: I'm going down to the beach.

Dean (Immediately after swallowing a mouthful of rice): Can you wait 30 seconds? I want to come with you.

Sally (Rolling her eyes): Sure.

Soon, Dean stands up and starts walking down to the beach with Sally as the camera cuts to his confessional.

I don't think there has ever been a more awkward morning in Survivor history than this one. The vote did not go as planned at all, and I know that Sally saw my look of surprise when Tina was getting her torch snuffed. I feel awful about how things went down last night. I strong-armed by Itsuki and Vanessa to tell Sally that the vote was going against Jordan in case she had an idol and the reason they made me do it was because I was the only one in our alliance she would actually believe. You'd better believe that that was the first and last lie I tell in this game. What angers me about the vote even more is that after all that, one of my allies flipped! It really, truly, sickens me! All I want to do now is fix things with Sally as best I can. As much as I hope fixing things with her puts me in a good spot, at the very least, I want her to know the truth about the whole thing and how sorry I am that it happened.

–Dean Strauss

Once the camera fades out of Dean's confessional, it returns to the majority of the tribe, who are just finishing their rice. The camera then shows a close up of Kyle who has a smirk on his face.

Last night, Tina finally went home! You have no idea how excited I am that it finally happened! I now no longer have that woman going off on me about every little thing! The weird thing is though, Sally told me that Dean was going to vote with us, yet he appeared just as shocked as Jason and Tina were! So something strange is going on with him. In any event though, at the very least, there are now cracks that have broke open in the majority alliance. Now, Jordan, Horatio, and I actually have a shot to make it far, so I really couldn't be happier!

–Kyle James

The scene now turns to show Dean and Sally walking down the beach.

Sally: So what did you want to tell me?

Dean (Apologetic): Look Sally, I just want to tell you how sorry I am...

Sally (Interrupting): Liar, liar, pants on fire! You said you were voting Jordan! Don't try to feed me bull-crap, Dean! If you were so (uses finger quotes) "Sorry" you wouldn't have lied to me in the first place!

Dean (Annoyed): You know what, now? First off, don't make me out to be the bad guy here! You betrayed me, too, Sally!

Sally: I told you I didn't feel comfortable with Itsuki and Vanessa! You told me that you were with me!

Dean: But I didn't agree to write Tina's name down! I didn't tell you I was going to write any name down other than Jordan's! Yes, I told you that I was with you, but I made it clear that I didn't want Tina to go!

Sally (Scoffs): So you're admitting now that you lied to me?

Dean: Yes, but you didn't let me finish what I was trying to say!

Sally (Rolls eyes): Go on.

Dean (Apologetic): Sally, I feel awful about this whole situation! What happened was that Vanessa and Itsuki saw how close I was with you and they were also scared of you playing an idol to save yourself. So they strong-armed me into lying to you about our target so that you wouldn't play an idol.

Sally: Well then, what about Tina's idol that she showed off at tribal?

Dean (Shakes head): I don't know! I'm just telling you what I was told. I wasn't made aware that she had that thing until she pulled it out!

When Dean apologized to me on the beach, I do believe he was being sincere, at least to a point. I'm not so sure that he would have been so sorry if I left last night as he had planned. At least given what Dean is saying, it confirms the lack of trust that I had in Itsuki and Vanessa from the start. So now if I get my way, one of those girls will be next.

–Sally Peterson

Sally: So then, who do you think flipped?

Dean: Now that I think about it, probably Vanessa. She seemed extremely nervous last night and this morning, she's A LOT quieter than normal.

Sally: Yeah, Vanessa has never been a quiet person. I'm really starting to worry about her even more because if what you're telling me is true...

Dean (Butting in): It is.

Sally: Then Vanessa is playing a MUCH different game than she did in Montserrat.

Dean (Nodding): You're right. I have no faith in Vanessa anymore, so I wouldn't be opposed to getting rid of her next. Especially since her and Itsuki basically forced me to lie to you.

When I went to apologize to Sally, she still seemed pretty angry, at least at first. Once I was finally able to explain myself, I think she realized that I was being sincere with her. I truly do feel absolutely awful about everything that's happened. Soon, when we discussed how the vote went down, we came to the conclusion that it was probably Vanessa that flipped given her behaviour last night and this morning. If I find out for certain that it was her, I will be pissed off because it was her and Itsuki that forced me to lie to Sally, and Tina going home made all of that effort we all put in to make sure the vote went the way we planned absolutely pointless! I don't consider myself to be a vindictive person at all; but if Vanessa screwed me over, I would have no qualms about getting rid of her next whatsoever.

–Dean Strauss

The scene now transitions to Vanessa, Jason, and Itsuki walking in the woods. Vanessa is still a lot quieter than usual and Jason appears very frustrated as he begins to question them.

Jason: So, would one of you like to tell me what happened last night?

Vanessa (Eyes starting to water): It was me! I'm so so sorry!

Itsuki (Concerned): Why? The plan was perfect!

Vanessa: I overheard Tina telling Horatio before tribal "My time with that alliance is done!"

Itsuki (Hurt): Vanessa! I TOLD you that Tina was with us! I assured you that she was not voting against anyone but Sally!

Vanessa: I'm sorry! I really, truly am! I was just scared! You don't know what it's like to be blindsided pre-merge!

Itsuki hugs Vanessa and tries to comfort her as Jason puts a hand over his face and shakes his head, unsympathetic to Vanessa's plea.

Itsuki (Comforting): It's okay, Vanessa. We'll figure something out, don't worry. I completely understand.

Jason (Shakes head): Look, I apologize if I'm reading this situation completely wrong, and I don't mean to hurt you, Vanessa; but, you've lied to me so much. How can I trust you ever again?

Vanessa (Irritated): Jason, I lied to you guys 1 time! That's it! You guys can trust me! I was just so paranoid that they would come after me!

Jason: Okay.

Vanessa: Okay?! That's all I get? Just "okay"?!

Jason (Defensive): What do you want from me, Vanessa? After your flip, how can you expect me to just trust you again right away?

Vanessa: I expect you to at least understand where I'm coming from and that I'm telling you guys the truth about how sorry I am!

Jason: Vanessa, as a person, I understand and I forgive you for what happened last night! The fact is though, as a player, you need to show me that I can trust you. I don't think you can just expect me to forget about this!

I was completely shocked about Tina going home at tribal council last night, and when Vanessa finally admitted that it was her that flipped, I felt completely betrayed. I feel like both during and after Montserrat, Vanessa and I became very good friends. So for her to flip on an alliance we had after being assured over and over again by Itsuki that we could trust Tina, it hurt me pretty bad. As a person, I forgive her for what happened, but as a player, I can't forget about this because there's a good chance that she could do it again! Don't get me wrong, I WANT to trust Vanessa so badly, I just don't think I can anymore.

–Jason Drysdale

The camera then turns to show Vanessa hanging her head, looking very guilty.

Jason (Apologetic): Vanessa, I'm really sorry if you're hurt by what I said. You just need to understand how I feel right now.

Vanessa (Lifts her head up): It's okay. I'll be fine. Don't worry about it.

At the last vote, I got extremely paranoid about where Tina's loyalty lied given what I had heard her say to Horatio just prior to tribal. I was so scared that I was going to be blindsided pre-merge again that I wasn't thinking straight. When I apologized to Itsuki and Jason today, I meant every word of what I said! Itsuki showed that she was a true friend and ally by accepting my apology and vowing to help me figure something out to get us further. Jason on the other hand though, didn't believe me and he clearly doesn't trust me anymore! Here I thought Jason would be the MOST forgiving person! This whole situation though is making me realize something important. Nice Vanessa is NEVER going to win this game. As far as I'm concerned, I need to murder Positive Polly and get me a new batch of fairy dust to sprinkle over these people! Don't get me wrong, I will still be my old singing and dancing self around camp; but if I'm going to win, I need to stop caring about being seen as a villain and just play my own game! It's just that simple. Bye bye, Polly! (Grins evilly)

–Vanessa Saluk

As the camera fades out of Vanessa's confessional, we can see that Jason has since gone back to camp. Itsuki and Vanessa however, continue talking in the woods.

Itsuki: Well, now that he's gone, we can start strategize talk.

Vanessa (Gives a small smile): True enough. What are you thinking?

Itsuki (Smiling): Remember how Tina showed our fake idol last night?

(Vanessa's face immediately lights up, knowing exactly where Itsuki is going with this topic)

Vanessa (Excited): That's right! Sally and all the boys think that was the real idol!

Itsuki: Yes, but I have the real idol. (Giggles)

Vanessa (Trying to contain her excitement): Oh my God, Itsuki! As long as we get the numbers back, this will totally work to our advantage!

Itsuki (Thinking): Well, Sally probably no like Dean anymore after we got him to lie to her. So as long as we can keep Dean and Jason with us, we can get rid of Sally no problem since she's not with the Alphas. They won't draw rocks for her!

Vanessa: I don't know though, Jason and Dean seemed pretty pissed off at us. Maybe though, if we talk to Horatio, he can convince the other Alphas to join us and get rid of Sally. Three plus two is five, so we don't need Jason and Dean to get rid of her!

Itsuki (Nodding): Yeah, Ray-Ray would be the easiest to talk to. I don't trust Jordan and Kyle, but he can convince them.

Vanessa: Exactly! Sally thought Dean was with her, so clearly she's playing both sides!

Itsuki (Sighs): I just hope this works! I'm nervous!

Vanessa (Optimistic): Well, even if it doesn't, you still have the idol. Since they'll clearly be coming after me, you could always play it on me, and we'll both be safe! Bye-bye, Sally! (Giggles)

Itsuki (Smiling): For sure!

Would I really play my idol on Vanessa? (Laughs) No. I may love Vanessa, but this is MY idol and after Tina showed everyone the fake idol Vanessa made her and throw it in the fire, no one even think I have one anymore! Since I play harder this time, I use my idol for only three people: Me, Myself, and I! No one else. (Giggles)

–Itsuki Takenawa

Itsuki: So now we have a plan! This is exciting!

Vanessa: I know right! (Hugs Itsuki) Thank you for sticking with me!

Itsuki: You're welcome!

All I can say right now is: "THANK GOD we gave Tina my fake idol!" Since Itsuki, Tina, and I were the only ones to know about it, all of the boys and Sally think that was the real idol she threw into the fire! That means that nobody even suspects Itsuki to have that thing and if she thinks I'm in danger at our next tribal, she'll play it on me! (Claps) Yay for unintentional strategy!! (Giggles) Obviously playing Itsuki's idol would be a last resort, but now at least we have a plan to get rid of Sally once and for all! (Holds up imaginary knife) Killer Vanessa is ready to claim her first official victim! (Does an evil laugh)

–Vanessa Saluk

Reward Challenge[]

Jeff: Come on in, guys!

(Nizwa come in first, followed by Sohar.)

Jeff: Nizwa, getting your first look at the new Sohar tribe. Carlos voted out at the last Tribal Council.

(Nobody on Nizwa appears surprised at Carlos's elimination as the camera returns to Jeff.)

Jeff: You guys ready to get to today's reward challenge?

Castaways: YES!

Jeff: For today's challenge, two at a time you will attempt to use oversized chop sticks to carry a flaming metal ball and place it into a chute lighting one of three caldrons. You can not push the ball, you must carry it. Once one caldron is lit, the next pair will go, using an even longer set of chop sticks, making it harder, then the third pair will go with the longest set of chop sticks. First tribe to light all three caldrons on fire, win reward. Want to know what you're playing for?

(Jeff pulls off the blanket that's covering the reward)

Jeff: Salt, oil, chili sauce, and an herb garden. Everything you need to go from just plain rice to something you may actually enjoy eating. In addition, the winning tribe will be able to kidnap one member of the losing tribe. Worth playing for?

Castaways: YES

Jeff: Alright, I'll give you all a minute to strategize, and then we'll get started.

(the tribes are awaiting Jeff's signal.)

Jeff: For reward in the form of an herb garden, salt, oil, chili sauce, and the ability to kidnap one member of the losing tribe.

  • At first, Deanne and Brisa fell behind and were getting frustrated at themselves for frequently dropping the ball. Deanne then coached Brisa through the round as they went slow and steady. Lucky for them, Jason and Vanessa weren't doing much better and Sohar had a sizable lead to start the challenge after they eventually passed Nizwa
  • Daphne and Peter started off slow for Sohar as they tried to get the hang of the challenge. As they were about a quarter of the way to the caldron, Jason and Vanessa finally got their ball in the caldron, allowing Jordan and Kyle to start.
  • Jordan and Kyle quickly got the hang of the challenge and made up a lot of time on Peter and Daphne to the point where both tribes were trying to lift their fire-balls into the caldrons at the same time. Daphne and Peter got theirs in first followed quickly by Jordan and Kyle
  • It took a while for both pairs of Bosco and Kris for Sohar and Dean and Horatio for Nizwa to get the hang of the challenge, and they traded the lead throughout the way to their caldrons.
  • Much like with the previous pairs, both Nizwa and Sohar found themselves trying to lift the fireballs into the caldrons at the same time. After a few minutes, Bosco and Kris were able to get their ball in first, officially ending Sohar's 6 challenge losing streak.

Jeff: SOHAR, WINS REWARD!

(Sohar wildly celebrates the ending of their losing streak as Nizwa looks on in disbelief)

Jeff Probst: Congratulations Sohar! I can tell that this was a much needed win for you guys. You have won salt, oil, chili sauce, and an herb garden. In addition, choose one member from Nizwa to kidnap?

Bosco: We're going to take Vanessa.

(Vanessa smiles and nods as she grabs her bag, gives her tribe mates good-bye hugs, and steps off the Nizwa mat to join Sohar)

Jeff: Alright Vanessa, you will join the villains until the next immunity challenge. Take this with you (hands Vanessa a note)'. Sohar, come grab your reward, head on out.

As Vanessa and the Sohar tribe grab their reward and leave the challenge arena, the camera closes in on Kris.

TAKE THAT, CARLOS! I knew it was you that cost us all those challenges! Seriously though, as a tribe, we NEEDED that win! I feel like the more we lost, the more deflated we all were at camp and it was just like a damn snowball effect. Now that we finally got rid of Carlos and won a bloody challenge, hopefully things will turn around because the last thing I want to do at this point is go back to tribal council.

–Kris Nightingale

Once the camera fades out of Kris's confessional, the camera returns to Jeff.

Jeff: Nizwa, for once, I've got nothing for you. Grab your stuff and head back to camp. I'll see you tomorrow.

As Nizwa departs, the camera fades out into a commercial break.

Sohar[]

As the camera returns to the program, it opens with a shot of beautiful scenery at the Sohar camp. It then turns to show Vanessa and the Sohar tribe cheering as they return with their reward.

I was super super stoked that I was picked to come to Sohar after the challenge. It's been a while since I have talked with either of my allies on this tribe, being Bosco and Brisa, so this is a great opportunity for us to re-connect and determine some sort of plan for after the merge. At least I hope I can get to that point so all this work I'm doing here isn't for nothing.

–Vanessa Saluk

The tribe are all smiles as they set their reward down near the shelter and Deanne gets ready to boil some water for the tribe so that they can start cooking a fresh batch of rice. Brisa and Vanessa start chatting away and giggling like little schoolgirls as Daphne heads to the beach and Peter and Kris walk off in their own direction. Bosco just sits on the edge of the shelter focusing on the two young ladies before gently elbowing Deanne. When she turns towards him, Bosco leans in and the two start whispering to each other while being careful that the girls don't notice.

Bosco: Something weird is going on between the two of them. I just have this gut feeling.

Deanne: I agree. I think they might be a little too chummy around here for them to be "just friends". Remember, Brisa was the one kidnapped by the Heroes the first time they won reward.

Bosco (Shakes head): Brisa terrifies me. She's a female J.F.K. I just know it!

Deanne nods, understanding the comparison.

Deanne: She's young, energetic, smart, and charismatic like the former president. If we let her get too far, she could wind up with a bit of a cult following like he did as well.

Bosco: Well, if we're lucky, we might still be able to assassinate her, Survivor style.

Deanne (Giggles): True enough.

Given how angry Peter was at me after the last vote, I doubt that I'm in a very good position right now. That said though, at this point in my game, I have about a gazillion different avenues I can take/things I could be doing. Example, the other two girls have absolutely no idea that I even considered abandoning our women's alliance in favour of either booting Kris or splitting them up, and I don't plan to let them know that either. If I feel the need, I could potentially still cozy back up with them like nothing ever happened. That said, Bosco has been extremely paranoid about the type of control that Brisa might have in this game for a while. Therefore, the best thing I can do with Bosco is simply feed his paranoia by continuing to remind him of just how big of a threat Brisa is. Besides, with Peter likely trying to put a target on my back right now, the more I shift the heat onto Brisa through Bosco, the more likely Bosco can use the influence he has over Peter to guarantee my safety at our next vote.

–Deanne Arbuthnot

The camera turns to show Brisa and Vanessa now talking strategy in the woods. Unbeknownst to them however, Bosco followed them and hides in a bush to spy on their conversation.

Vanessa (Smiling): Well, I'm glad we can finally catch up on strategy.

Brisa: Absolutely! Especially because at this rate, we'll likely be down in numbers come the merge.

Vanessa: Are you still tight with Daphne?

Brisa: Of course! (Giggles) Why wouldn't I be? You still tight with Itsuki?

Vanessa (Laughs): I see your point. Obviously Itsuki and I are still close.

Brisa (Smiling): Perfect.

Vanessa: So.. it looks like you'll both be flipping to our side then.

Brisa (Nodding): At this moment, at least.

(At this point, Bosco's mouth drops open as he whispers the words "Oh my God" to himself.)

I knew it! I knew it! I knew it! Brisa is a major player in this game and she's got a close alliance with Vanessa and Itsuki of all people! It gets worse though! She is so tight with Daphne that if Brisa flips to the Heroes, so does she! I know I'm aligned with Vanessa too, but Brisa and Daphne never told me THEY were close with her! Obviously they want Vanessa and Itsuki to themselves, and I just can't let that happen. So at this point, with Brisa's hands in literally everybody's cookie jar, she is absolutely the most dangerous person out here. If we don't get her out now, we never will.

–Bosco Elliot

Bosco then quietly sneaks away from Brisa and Vanessa back towards camp as the two young women continue their conversation.

Brisa: The thing is though, once we get to the merge, we need solid numbers and a solid plan. I don't think four people in our alliance is enough. How's Jason?

Vanessa (Sighs): Looking at the people on my tribe, Jason will probably be our best chance to pull in. Quite frankly, after our last tribal council, I don't trust any of them fully except Itsuki.

Brisa (Nods): Interesting.

Vanessa: How's your relationship with Bosco over here? I thought we discussed bringing him into our alliance.

Brisa: We did. The thing though is that I don't fully trust the guy. He's pretty close with Peter and after our last vote, Peter is definitely the one I trust the least on this tribe.

Vanessa: Well, we have to at least make an effort to pull Bosco in because if he was part of this thing at the start, we can't just pretend this never happened.

Brisa: I know. Truth is though, I trust Deanne WAY more than I trust Bosco. I know she's the (uses finger quotes) "Wicked Witch" and all that; but, looking at the other three, pulling her in as an extra number doesn't seem like a terrible idea.

Vanessa: If you feel like we can trust Deanne, then fine. If we all get to the merge, we're guaranteed to have five people with her, but not counting Jason. I'll talk to Bosco just to make sure he's feeling comfortable with everything.

Brisa: Sounds good.

I've definitely been getting really weird vibes from Bosco lately. I know he was originally a part of this little cross-tribal alliance thing that Daphne and I have going on with Vanessa and Itsuki; but recently, I've been having serious doubts about whether or not I can trust the guy. Based on the way that Peter has been acting lately around Daphne and I, I know that he's against us and I also know that the person Peter is clearly closest to out here is Bosco. Vanessa said she's going to talk to him, but unless I see Bosco drown in her fairy dust with my own two eyes, I'm still going to have a hard time trusting him.

–Brisa Martinez

The camera then turns to show Vanessa who appears particularly nervous.

The conversation I had with Brisa this afternoon was very sobering to say the least. I mean, although she appears very comfortable with the idea of joining Itsuki and I come the merge, based on the way she talked with me, she made it abundantly clear that she doesn't trust Bosco. That worries me a lot because Bosco is the person that has the other half of the Citizen Idol! I mean, I know I still have to make the merge, but if Bosco abandons this alliance, my game could be downright screwed. So I need to do everything in my power to make sure that doesn't happen.

–Vanessa Saluk

As the footage fades out of Vanessa's confessional, it turns to show Peter and Kris talking in a secluded area of the camp.

Peter: Kris, all I want to say here is that at our next vote, Deanne needs to go!

Kris (Sternly): Why?

Peter: That witch is even more wicked than she was in Montserrat! I mean, in this game, we have absolutely no way to know where she stands right now.

Kris (Slightly annoyed): What are you talking about?

Peter (Matter-of-Factly): Well, were you aware that right up until you won immunity, Deanne was seriously considering getting rid of you over Carlos.

Kris (Both stunned and angry): What?!

Peter (Smirking): That's right. Right up until you won immunity, Deanne saw Carlos as a goat and you as a threat, so she proposed the idea of keeping him around. Obviously though, we had to scrap those plans when you won immunity

Kris (Shakes head): Ugh! That's just <expletive> pathetic if you ask me!

Peter: Tell me about it! As far as I'm concerned, she has to go next.

Kris: For sure.

Honestly, who the HELL does Peter think he is? I mean seriously, what does this bloody kid take me for? A moron? I know that Deanne is no angel in this game and never will be, but I highly doubt that she'd be stupid enough to push for Carlos to go when he's throwing her name under the bus and after how clearly disgusted and offended she was by Carlos making those comments about my kids! Truthfully, I think that if anyone was campaigning for Carlos to stay, it would be Peter given how bloody desperate he seems right now. All that said though, I do believe that if Deanne thinks she's on the bottom of our alliance with Brisa and Daphne, she would probably flip. However, with Peter throwing her under the bus like this, I don't see her drifting away from us anytime soon.

–Kris Nightingale

As the camera fades out of Kris's confessional, we can see Bosco walking up to the two men to join in on their conversation.

Bosco: Guys, you're not going to like hearing this, but Brisa needs to go?

Peter (Confused): Why?

Bosco: She's got her hands in literally everybody's cookie jar in this game! I just overheard a conversation between her and Vanessa about how Brisa plans on flipping to the Heroes come the merge! Even worse yet, she's taking DAPHNE with her!

Kris (Seething): Please tell me this is a joke!

Bosco (Shakes head): Unfortunately not. I've been having reservations about Brisa for a while, but after hearing all that, it just confirmed my fears.

Peter (Shakes head): This is bull<expletive>! I'm sorry guys, but Carson was right all along. Deanne NEEDS to go!

Bosco: No. Deanne's a Saint compared to Brisa right now as far as I'm concerned. Brisa is playing both sides and has been for a while. If she gets to the merge, not only will we lose her, but we'll lose Daphne too.

Bosco is so stubborn, man. I mean, the guy seems to have got it stuck in his thick skull that Brisa needs to go even though the untrustworthy one is CLEARLY Deanne! Then again, what should I really expect from the guy that took Deanne's side when it came to eliminating either Carlos or Daphne last night? Trust me, I know what Bosco THINKS he heard, but given that Deanne is notorious for pitting people against each other, I honestly think that anyone should think twice before giving her yet ANOTHER free pass!

–Peter Frandson

Peter: We all need to realize though that Deanne is notorious for pitting people against each other. I know what you think you heard, Bosco, but remember who you're dealing with here!

Bosco (Puts his hand up): Peter, I KNOW what I heard! Deanne was nowhere near that conversation. Brisa flat out said that since this tribe is likely to be down in numbers come the merge at this rate, that her and Daphne were going to flip to join Itsuki and Vanessa on Nizwa.

Kris: Bosco's right, Peter. Flippers are the absolute LAST thing we need in this game. I know Deanne is an instigator, but we've got to cut the head off the snake, and I think the snake's name is Brisa.

Bosco is shown smirking as Peter rolls his eyes before the camera cuts to Bosco's confessional.

I understand that Peter is angry at Deanne for kind of forcing the vote to go against Carlos at tribal, but he needs to get over that grudge he's carrying because it's going to come back and bite him at this rate. Brisa is easily the most untrustworthy person in this game right now and she's got to go. Given Kris's track record in this game and his alliance with Daphne, I knew that if I told Kris absolutely everything I heard in that little conversation between Brisa and Vanessa, the guy would waste absolutely no time in turning 100% against Brisa. Given how he reacted when I told him, I'd say he's pretty damn pissed off and certainly won't hesitate to get her out, just as I predicted. Since Deanne seems to still be with me, as long as Peter can get his head screwed on straight before our next vote, you can stick a fork in Brisa because she is done!

–Bosco Elliot

Vanessa and Bosco are now shown talking as they walk down the beach.

Vanessa: So how are you feeling about our little alliance?

Bosco (Shrugs): I'm feeling good. I have no worries. I mean, the two of us together are in possession of the Citizen Idol, so as long as we both make the merge, we can be unstoppable.

Vanessa: Well, whether we both make the merge or not, we're going to need numbers. Quite frankly, Itsuki is the only person I trust on my tribe.

Bosco: Well that's more people than I trust here. I mean, I would say Peter, but he's turning out to be a bit of a loose cannon, so I don't trust telling him any of this stuff.

Vanessa: What do you think about Brisa?

(Stunned, Bosco pauses and just stares at Vanessa for a bit)

Bosco: Who?

Vanessa: Brisa. Do you think we can bring her into the alliance?

Bosco (Shrugs): I don't think so. Given how she did in Portland Bight she's definitely looking to make a name for herself out here and I'm definitely seeing her as a bona fide player this time. She's the type that would do absolutely anything to get ahead in this game, so placing all your trust in her would be suicide.

Vanessa (Shrugs): Well we have to place our trust in somebody. I mean yeah we can use our idol as a safety net, but what about after that's gone? Just three people won't be enough to get us to the end!

Bosco (Trying to remain optimistic): Well, I'm sure we'll figure something out. If we absolutely must trust her, fine. But I seriously would rather not have to deal with her come the merge.

Vanessa (Nodding): Fair enough.

I see what Vanessa's doing. Vanessa wants to maintain her alliances to both me and Brisa so that if all of us make the merge, Vanessa has her pick of the litter on who to go with. The amount of power that Brisa alone will have if she makes the merge terrifies me, so I can't imagine Vanessa being put in that powerful position too! Vanessa may think that I'm still optimistic about the possibility of aligning with Brisa right now, but the truth is, our little conversation today only made me want Brisa out more! If Brisa is gone and Vanessa and I both get to the merge, that will mean that she has to rely on me and me alone to get to the end.

–Bosco Elliot

Nizwa[]

The camera now turns to show a beautiful afternoon on the Nizwa tribe. Itsuki is now shown talking to Horatio as the two gather firewood.

Itsuki: Can I ask you something?

Horatio (Puzzled): Sure... I guess.

Itsuki: What do you think of Sally?

Horatio (Shakes head): I dunno where she stands to be honest with you.

Itsuki: I've been thinking the same thing about her. Let's be real here, if we don't know where Sally stands, she could easily jump to the villains at the merge.

Horatio (Nods): Yeah, that's true.

After Vanessa's flip to get rid of Tina last night, us two are in a pretty tough spot because we don't have Dean's trust anymore. Since Dean is probably out trying to turn people against us right now, Vanessa and I need to have plans of our own. Since Sally isn't really with anybody, sending her home is probably the easiest move for us. Since we don't trust Kyle or Jordan, hopefully Horatio will help make our move possible.

–Itsuki Takenawa

Itsuki: Do you think Kyle and Jordan would be willing to vote Sally?

Horatio (Shrugs): I don't see why not at this point. Sally is weak in challenges and she hasn't really done anythin' to earn our trust.

Itsuki (Nods): For sure! Especially since she's been talking with Dean quite a bit lately. In fact, Dean thought she was with us at tribal. She is playing both sides.

Horatio (Sighs): That right there scares me. Well, I'll talk to Kyle and Jordan, then I'll get back to you.

Itsuki (Smiling): Sounds good!

Right now, it seems like Kyle, Jordan, and I are the swing votes on this tribe right now. Truthfully, I dunno who is less trustworthy between Vanessa and Sally. I think both are probably playin' both sides in this game, so keepin' either of 'em worries me about what'll happen come the merge. Then again, if Dean and Jason are comin' after Vanessa, it might not be a bad idea for us Alphas to join up with those girls and have some real power around here for once.

–Horatio Ellison

As the heat of the day rolls in at the Nizwa camp, Dean is shown laying down in the shelter. Soon, Jason comes in and sits down next to him.

Jason: Hey, what's up?

Dean (Sighs): Nothing much, just relaxing.

Jason: I'm just curious, are you really thinking of getting rid of Vanessa at our next tribal council?

Dean (Sighs): I don't want to, but I don't see what other choice we really have. First off, it ticks me off that I was forced into lying to Sally only for Vanessa to flip and make all that for nothing! Second of all, it would be bad strategy for us to keep someone around as paranoid as Vanessa. We need allies that can stay strong at the end of the day.

Jason (Sighs): Damn. I had a feeling you might say that. Look, I see what you're saying, I just don't want to get rid of one of my best friends over this! Truthfully, I believe what she's saying. She was probably just extremely paranoid!

Dean (Sympathetic): I understand your concerns, buddy. I don't want to get rid of Vanessa either, but if we HAVE to lose someone, it should be the person that's going to crack under the pressure.

Jason: I know and I see what you're saying. Ugh, it just sucks so bad, that's all.

(Dean now sits up and puts a hand on Jason's shoulder)

Dean: I know. But if we want to get much further, we might have to do this. Listen, don't worry about a thing. If someone's going to be mad over Vanessa going, they'll be mad at me. Jason, I got you. If you trust me, we can get through this together.

Jason (Nods): Okay, I trust you.

Jason and Dean are shown giving each other a "Bro hug" as the camera cuts to Dean's confessional.

I can truly respect and sympathize with Jason's mindset right now. The guy is so conflicted about what to do in the game because him and Vanessa were such good friends, yet at the end of the day, she stabbed us in the back at tribal. I can see in his eyes that he wants to forgive her for the move so badly, but at the same time he also knows that getting rid of her would be the best strategic move for all of us. So for me right now, as both a person and a player, Jason needs to know that I have his back all the way. The more comfortable he is with me, and the more he knows that I will stick by him throughout the game, the more likely he will be to cut Vanessa loose.

–Dean Strauss

The camera now turns to show Kyle, Horatio, and Jordan in the woods as they gather fruit for the tribe.

Horatio: So guys, I just heard somethin' interestin' from Itsuki.

Jordan (Intrigued): What's that?

Horatio: She believes that Sally is playin' both sides and has to go next.

Kyle (Scoffs): Itsuki's just saying whatever she can to keep Vanessa in the game. I think we were extremely lucky at tribal. Our best move would be to get rid of Vanessa because she'll go whichever way the wind blows.

Horatio: True enough, but Sally was never really with us and she knows it. So it makes sense that she might be playin' both sides.

Jordan (Nods): I agree. My biggest fear with Sally is that if she's not satisfied with any of us, and she gets to the merge, she'll go straight to the villains side.

Kyle: SALLY?! You've got to be kidding me with that one! She's not going to flip on us. Vanessa on the other hand though, I can definitely see flipping.

Horatio: But, apparently Dean thought Sally was with her at the last vote. If she's that wishy-washy now and won't commit, just imagine how she'll be at the merge!

Kyle (Confused): That makes no sense! Dean voted against her!

Jordan: True, but she did tell us that she thought Dean would vote against Tina. Obviously he didn't, and if she's talking to Dean a lot today, it does make me wonder what they're saying to each other.

Kyle: I don't see Sally as a major strategic player in this game. She's just not! I'd be more scared of Dean than I would be Sally!

When Horatio came to Jordan and I and told us about how Itsuki was throwing Sally under the bus, I immediately knew it was some kind of ploy for the sole purpose to spare Vanessa. Quite frankly, I don't buy it, and I don't understand why they do! I really think that Horatio and Jordan need to start having a little more faith in me and the decisions I make. Sally's not a big time player in this game while Vanessa and Dean are. Truthfully, I was right about Tina, so I don't get why they don't see how I'm right about this. I just hope they turn around soon in time for our next vote.

–Kyle James

Horatio: Honestly Kyle, Sally was smart enough to realize that she was bein' targeted last night. I think assumin' that she's not a player in this game would be a mistake.

Jordan: To be honest, I don't trust Vanessa one bit. I think that girl is a lot more sneaky than she wants to come off. That said though, Sally is here for her family. She doesn't need to say it, because we know it's true. She just might be willing to do whatever it takes to stay in this game because of who she's playing for.

Kyle: True enough, but with Vanessa's flip to get rid of Tina, clearly she'll do anything it takes to stay in this game. I don't really think she cares at all who she turns on, as long as it's not her.

Jordan (Shakes head): I don't know man. I think overlooking Sally would be a huge mistake.

Earlier today, apparently Itsuki told Horatio about how close Sally has become with Dean and how she's clearly playing both sides in this game. Honestly, even though Vanessa is clearly not to be trusted in this game anymore, I think those concerns about Sally are quite legitimate. Kyle however though just immediately dismissed them because HE doesn't view Sally as much of a player. Kyle's reaction alone concerns me for two reasons. First, you should never, ever, ever underestimate anybody in this game! Second, it's looking more like Tina was right after all! Kyle is a control freak, plain and simple. In this alliance, it seems to be his way or the highway and so the opinions of Horatio and I don't matter. So I'm really starting to think that Horatio and I may just need to take our own fate in our hands and possibly risk going against Kyle if it means bettering our games. I just refuse to let Kyle's one-track mind ruin my game this time around.

–Jordan Watson

Day 16[]

Immunity Challenge[]

Jeff: Come on in, guys!

(The two tribes enter the challenge arena)

Jeff: Vanessa, you may now rejoin Nizwa.

Vanessa (Smiling): Thank you, Jeff.

(Vanessa walks back to the Nizwa mat and hugs Itsuki and then Jason. As she hugs Jason, she whispers something in his ear)

Vanessa: When we get back to camp, we should talk.

(Jason is obviously confused by this as he whispers the word "Okay" back to Vanessa as the camera cuts back to her confessional).

After talking with both Brisa and Bosco, I realized that if I'm going to make the merge, I need to rebuild the trust that was lost between Jason and I. Obviously it'll be hard to get him to trust me completely at this stage, but if I can at least get him to a point where he'll be comfortable keeping me around past our next vote, that will at least give us some sort of foundation to try and rebuild our alliance and get us both further in this game.

–Vanessa Saluk

Jeff: You guys ready to get to today's immunity challenge?

Castaways: Yes!

Jeff: Alright, so Kris and Kyle, I'm going to need the necklaces back.

(Jeff Retrieves the individual immunity necklaces from Kyle and Kris before returning to his spot in front of the two tribes and setting them down.)

Jeff: Alright, once again, tribal immunity is back up for grabs. For today's challenge: one at a time, four players run along a path through a field to reach one of four stations, untie a giant hanging skull-shaped puzzle piece, and haul it back. You will be crisscrossing the other tribe several times. Once all your pieces have been collected, the two others will take the pieces and place them into rotating pieces on a solving platform until they all fit. First tribe to complete their puzzle, wins immunity, guaranteeing yourselves a 1 in 13 shot at a million dollars. Losers go to tribal council where one of you will be the 7th person voted out of this game. I'll give you guys a minute to strategize, then we'll get started.

(the tribes are awaiting Jeff's signal.)

Jeff: Alright, for immunity... Survivors ready? GO!

  • Deanne and Jordan were the first runners for their respective tribes. Jordan had a rather healthy lead on Deanne when he reached his station; however, he had some trouble with the knots, which allowed her to catch up. Although Deanne finished untying the piece right before Jordan, he was much quicker getting it back to his tribe, meaning that Nizwa had a good sized lead to start the challenge.
  • Kyle was already halfway to his station when Deanne finally brought her piece back. Peter was the second runner for Sohar and fortunately for the villains, made up a lot of time on Kyle. Peter and Kyle both brought their pieces back around the same time as a result of Peter's great performance.
  • Daphne and Dean were the third runners for their respective tribes. Dean quickly took the lead on Daphne, but she never fell that far behind.
  • Horatio was the final runner for Nizwa and Kris was the final runner for Sohar. Kris was able to make up some time on Horatio, but Nizwa's slight lead going into that final round allowed them to get a slight head start on the puzzle over Sohar.
  • Both tribes initially struggled on the puzzle, but Bosco for Sohar and Itsuki for Nizwa were able to figure it out and the challenge came down to the wire. However, Sally managed to slide the final piece in for Nizwa first, giving the Heroes the win.

Jeff: NIZWA, WINS IMMUNITY!

As Nizwa celebrate their victory, the Villains, especially Kris, are visibly frustrated and angry that they lost yet another immunity challenge.

Jeff: Nizwa, congratulations!

(Nizwa cheers as Jeff walks the Immunity Idol statue over to them)

Jeff: Nobody from Nizwa going home tonight. Grab your stuff and head back to camp, enjoy the night off.

(As the Heroes grab their bags and start to leave, Jeff turns his attention to the Villains.)

Jeff: Sohar, unfortunately for you guys, I can't say the same thing. Tribal Council tonight where one of the six of you will be the 7th person voted out of this game. You guys have the afternoon to figure out who that's going to be. Grab your stuff and head back to camp, I'll see you guys at tribal.

As Sohar grab their bags and begin the hike back to camp, the camera focuses in on Deanne.

As much as it sucks that we're heading to tribal... AGAIN, at least I feel like I'm probably safe tonight. I'm pretty much a free agent in this tribe right now with my only sworn enemy being Peter. So with that said, I'd like nothing more than to send Peter on his merry way. Unless for some God forsaken reason literally everyone else wants to keep the kid around, I don't see myself not writing his name down tonight and sending him home. (Chuckles) These people really need to start realizing that making an enemy out of me will only result in their elimination. But whatever, more fun for me!

–Deanne Arbuthnot

Nizwa[]

The camera turns to the Nizwa camp as the eight smiling tribe mates return from yet another immunity challenge victory.

I'm definitely pleased that we won yet another immunity challenge! Those villains are just dropping like flies out here and I'm enjoying every second of it. Let's just hope that we can keep up this momentum!

–Kyle James

The mood turns serious as the camera turns to show Vanessa and Jason talking on the beach.

Vanessa (Apologetic): Listen, I just want you to know that I'm so incredibly sorry for my flip the other day. I didn't mean to hurt you guys and it wasn't even a move against you! I was just so paranoid that I felt I needed to make a move against Tina because of the stuff I heard.

Jason (Nods): It's okay. As a person, I'm not going to hold a grudge. What's done is done, and I want to move on.

Vanessa (Smiling): I do too! (Takes a deep breath) Look Jason, I still want to go really super far in the game with you. I know you probably don't trust me a whole lot right now, but I'm being sincere with you!

Jason (Smiles): Thank you. I want to go far in this game with you too. I just want to know for sure if I can trust you.

Vanessa (Almost pleading): You can, Jason! You can trust me!

Jason: I think in my heart I know that, but it'll just take time to convince my brain. I promise you that I don't want you to go anywhere if this tribe goes back to tribal, it's just not a guarantee I can make right now.

Vanessa: Fair enough. Can I get a hug?

Jason (Smiling): Of course!

As Jason and Vanessa hug, the camera cuts to Jason's confessional.

I really do believe that Vanessa was very sincere when she apologized for getting rid of Tina at our last vote. So right now, I'm just thanking the good Lord for not sending us back to tribal tonight and praying that we don't have to go back there until the merge! I know that Dean and Sally both want Vanessa to go right now, but I don't want to vote her out! In fact, I'd love to be able to align with her again if I could. Problem is though, I don't want to be forced to choose between my two best friends and so that makes this just a really tough spot for me to be in right now.

–Jason Drysdale

Sohar[]

The camera turns to show the six villains returning to camp feeling quite deflated after yet another immunity challenge loss.

Deanne (Sighs): So... I guess in the words Vanessa would use if she were here: (Sings): Heigh-ho! heigh-ho! It's back to tribal we go... (Groans) <Expletive> my life.

All six share a short laugh at Deanne's comment as the camera focuses in on Brisa.

It seems like no matter what this tribe does, we just can't seem to stay away from tribal! This just really, really sucks because obviously tonight six people will go, but only five will come back. At this point though, I just can't do anything other than making sure my alliance stays strong and hoping for the best.

–Brisa Martinez

The scene transitions to show Bosco, Peter, Deanne, and Kris in the woods discussing the vote.

Bosco: Honestly guys, I really think that it needs to be Brisa that goes. I overheard her tell Vanessa yesterday that she was planning on flipping to the Heroes and taking Daphne with her.

Kris (Shakes head): That really pisses me off. But as you said Bosco, the solution is to get rid of her. After conversations I've had with Daphne, I feel like the only way that girl will flip on me is if she does it with Brisa. So if Brisa goes tonight, problem solved.

(Deanne and Bosco both nod at Kris's statement as Peter glares at Deanne, looking to be ticked off. Deanne returns Peter's angry glare with an annoyed glare of her own)

Deanne (Bluntly): So, Brisa goes tonight?

Bosco (Trying to contain his excitement): Yes!

Kris (Nods): Uh huh.

Peter (Hesitant): Sure.

(Peter once again simply glares at Deanne. Deanne once again notices this and puts a hand over her mouth to hide her giggles.)

(Laughing) I can tell that Peter wants nothing more than for me to be the one going tonight. During the conversation I had with him, Bosco, and Kris earlier, he just gave me such an angry glare as everybody except him in the circle all stated that they wanted Brisa to go. It was almost like... he was giving me two middle-fingers with his eyes. (Chuckles) It was priceless! That said though, I don't think that kid is going to just stop coming after me. So if I can figure out a way to get rid of him tonight instead, you'd best believe it's gonna happen.

–Deanne Arbuthnot

(The camera then focuses in on Peter, who has his arms crossed and a scowl on his face.)

The longer Deanne is here, the more pissed off I'm becoming. I'd really love NOTHING MORE than for that Witch to take that walk of shame that she so richly deserves! The problem is though that nobody is willing to get rid of her tonight! They're all so damn focused on getting rid of Brisa because they're scared she's going to flip and take Daphne with her! Obviously I can see why the Brisa problem needs to be addressed. I just hope I don't have to wait too much longer to eliminate that thorn in my side.

–Peter Frandson

The camera now focuses in on a conversation between Deanne and Kris as they walk in the woods after separating from Peter and Bosco.

Deanne (Curious): Do you really think that getting rid of Brisa is the right move tonight?

Kris (Blunt): Well, if she's flipping!

Deanne (Nods): I see the obvious concern there, but did you notice the way Peter was glaring at me? That boy wants me out so damn bad! Truthfully, I trust Brisa to stick with us more than Peter because of that!

Kris (Ponders Deanne's statement): I see what you're saying. I mean, Daphne is loyal to me and the only real indicators that Brisa is untrustworthy have come from Bosco so far.

Deanne (Smiles): Exactly. I can see why Bosco thinks Brisa is so dangerous, and even why she's untrustworthy. But since it seems like Peter will stop at nothing to get rid of me, we might be better off striking first.

Kris: I see what you're saying. We should have no problems getting those girls on board. Especially if they know that Bosco and Peter's plan right now is to get rid of Brisa.

Deanne: Exactly.

For me at this point, the question is one of "who do I trust less". When Vanessa was here, she DID spend a lot of time with Brisa and so it's not much of a stretch to connect that to the possibility of her planning to jump ship at the merge. It also makes Bosco's claims of Brisa outright telling Vanessa that she's going to flip all the more believable. On the flip side though, it's easy to see that Peter wants nothing more than to get rid of Deanne. I can appreciate why he wants her out, but since it's just not realistic tonight, that obviously incites fear of what might happen if they're both around come the merge. Peter may be strong in challenges, but if cutting him loose tonight is the best move strategically, I have no qualms with doing just that.

–Kris Nightingale

Deanne is now shown approaching Brisa and Daphne in the water.

Brisa (Playfully): Hey Dee Dee!

Deanne (Giggles): Hi bitch!

Brisa (Laughs): Point well taken.

Daphne: So Deanne, we were wondering who you'd rather take out tonight. Peter or Bosco?

Deanne (Instantly): Peter. I know he's much stronger in challenges, but he's wanting me out so bad right now. Maybe worse than Carson did.

Daphne: Yeah, I noticed that.

Deanne: Besides, I've talked to Kris already and he's fully on board with the idea because he doesn't trust Peter either.

Brisa: Ummm, just playing Devil's advocate here, but I think Bosco may be just as untrustworthy as Peter, if not worse. Besides, getting rid of Peter essentially guarantees that we're going back to tribal next time.

Deanne (Shrugs): Well then, the three of us would have an easy majority so we could get rid of Bosco next time. At this point, our only hope of achieving equal numbers going into the merge is if we merge at 10. Even though a 10 person merge IS possible, if Peter and I are both there, he's made it clear that he wouldn't stick with me anyway, so there's no point in putting too much of a focus on winning challenges.

Daphne (Nods): True enough. I'm down with getting rid of Peter, especially since Kris has already agreed, there's no need to rock the boat more than it already has been at this point.

Brisa (Smiles): Peter it is then.

I knew it would be easy to convince Brisa and Daphne to get rid of Peter tonight. Quite honestly, I'm ready to see Carson 2.0 leave because I'm just done playing the game with people like that. I mean, Survivor is stressful enough WITHOUT people coming after you, never mind knowing you have an enemy! The reason I implied that I was Peter's and Bosco's target to Daphne and Brisa is because the last thing I need right now is for them to be scrambling. Bosco's done a beautiful job of putting heat on Brisa and so at this point, her scrambling would only make things worse.

–Deanne Arbuthnot

Deanne: So, are we still good to at least try and get us three in the finals?

Daphne (Smiles): Definitely! I just hope that somehow we can achieve the numbers after the merge.

Deanne: Well, you guys already said that you didn't trust Bosco. But if we absolutely have to try integrating with the Heroes after the merge, then that's what we should do.

Brisa: Well, Vanessa did try to convince me to come over to her side all day yesterday because she's scared that she's in the minority on Nizwa.

Deanne (Surprised): Really!? What did you tell her?

Brisa (Shrugs): To be honest, I told her that I'd consider it. I mean, if we DO all make the merge, it IS something that we should consider because in all likelihood this tribe WILL be in the minority.

Deanne (Giggles): Hey, I already said that I would stick with the two of you till the end. Besides, I can't deny that it would be the logical move.

Daphne: Well, we trust you.

Deanne: And I trust you guys.

So as I was chatting with Brisa and Daphne in the water today, Brisa literally just confirmed to me ALL of Bosco's worst fears. To be honest though, I'm not going to report it to Bosco! I say let the boy squirm!! (Laughs) I mean, this entire conversation literally set in stone my final three alliance with Brisa and Daphne! So since I'm officially involved in these cross-tribe plans right now, I really don't give a <expletive> what Bosco is afraid of! (Laughs)

–Deanne Arbuthnot

(The camera now turns to show Daphne, who has a smile on her face)

The reason that Brisa and I decided to include Deanne in our little cross-tribe alliance with Vanessa and Itsuki is because as of right now, we NEED numbers and of the people left, she's the least risky person to talk to. I mean, the danger of talking to Kris is because I'm scared of how he'd react if he found out. I mean, the guy is both fiercely loyal and quite intimidating. Besides, since Deanne doesn't seem to have any real allies other than us, including her in our group also eliminates an unknown going into the merge. (Smiles)

–Daphne Green

As the day rolls on and the time for Tribal Council draws nearer, Kris taps Brisa on the shoulder in front of the shelter and whispers into her ear with authority.

Kris: I need to talk to you.

Brisa (Confused): Ummm... okay.

Maybe I'm just paranoid, but the fear that Brisa promised Vanessa that her and Daphne would flip to the Heroes is really concerning to me. Bosco just doesn't come across to me as a snake AT ALL! So I decided to confront Brisa about the issue, just to set the record straight. The absolute last thing I need right now going into this vote are doubts, especially when it comes to my allies.

–Kris Nightingale

Brisa has a confused and nervous look on her face as her and Kris approach a secluded area of the camp, once there, Kris voices his concerns.

Kris (Bluntly): So, I heard from Bosco today that you told Vanessa you were flipping to the Heroes with Daphne. What's that about?

(Brisa is shocked by the bold question. Her mouth drops open as Kris just stands there with a scowl on his face and his arms crossed.)

Brisa (Stutters): Ummm... uh... (giggles nervously)... I have no idea what Bosco's talking about.

Kris (Snaps): So you're calling Bosco a liar?

Brisa: You know what, Kris? Yes. Yes I AM calling Bosco a liar!

Kris: Why would Bosco of all people lie?

Brisa (Defensive): I have no idea why Bosco would lie! All I know is that I didn't make any promises to Vanessa! Maybe Bosco is just desperately trying to split us up because he's close with Peter.

Kris: But you promise me that you and Daphne are NOT flipping on us at the merge?

Brisa: Yes! I swear to God that Daphne and I will NOT flip on you! Trust me, I have NO IDEA how or why Bosco came up with such an asinine story!

Kris: Okay. That's all I want to know.

(Without another word, Kris turns and walks away from Brisa back towards camp. The camera then turns and focuses in on Brisa who is left speechless.)

Well I just had literally the most terrifying conversation of my entire life. I swear, Kris confronting me this afternoon made me even more terrified than I was when I had to talk to my parents after they saw all that stuff I said about Rudy! I mean, Kris is easily the most intimidating person I've ever met in my entire life and this whole thing just came literally out of nowhere! What's worse is that I have absolutely no idea how Bosco managed to figure out I was planning on flipping! I think I did a good job of diffusing the situation though. I mean, before this vote, Kris trusted me 100% and after this conversation, I don't think I gave him any reason not to trust me. I just hope and pray that everything goes according to plan tonight.

–Brisa Martinez

As the sun begins to set and the villains pack their bags for tribal, Kris approaches Deanne and Daphne and whispers to them, while making sure that nobody else can hear him.

Kris: Vote Brisa!

Deanne (Confused): Why?

Kris (Continues whispering): She's a bloody snake! She's making deals behind our backs.

Deanne: Can we move away from everyone to discuss this?

Kris (Rolls eyes): Fine.

Brisa is nothing but a liar! When I confronted her about what Bosco told me, she immediately got extremely defensive and could not look me in the eyes for a second! This really pisses me off because before today, I trusted Brisa and she's making me look like a fool! The LAST thing I need in this game is someone making deals behind my back, and it's clear to me now that's EXACTLY what Brisa has been doing this entire game! The only problem is that I need to get Daphne and Deanne back on my page. If I alone just vote for Brisa, the numbers will be 3-3 and the last thing I want to do is draw rocks, ESPECIALLY pre-merge!!

–Kris Nightingale

Daphne (Confused): What's going on?

Kris (Angry): Brisa is nothing but a liar! I heard from Bosco today that Brisa told Vanessa that she wanted to jump ship to the Heroes. When I confronted her about it, she got all shifty and defensive, she kept stuttering and couldn't look me in the eyes for a second! She showed each and every sign that I look for to see if someone is lying and it pisses me off! She needs to go tonight!

Deanne (Trying to diffuse the situation): Maybe we're just over-analyzing things here...

Kris (Interrupting): NO! Deanne, I know when I'm right!

Deanne (Trying to diffuse the situation): Yes, but maybe the girl was just caught WAY of guard when you approached her! I'm sorry, but I've caught Peter in so many lies throughout this game as it is. I'd seriously still rather him go.

Kris: Brisa is making me look like a fool, Deanne! I will NOT stand for it, she NEEDS to go tonight!

Daphne (Shakes head): I'm sorry Kris, but I don't want to play the flipping game anymore! Brisa trusts us 100% and I trust her! Besides, she'd be stupid to abandon our alliance!

Kris: That may be, but she's a damn liar! I'm a cop for Heaven's sake! I should know when people are lying to me!

Deanne: Look, maybe she just said that to cheer Vanessa up and give her some hope. Who knows? But I don't think the girl is THAT stupid to completely abandon our alliance after we spent all this time building trust with her!

Kris: Well if THAT was the case, then she would have admitted it to me! I'm writing Brisa's name down, end of story! Unless you two want to draw rocks, you'll vote with me!

Daphne (Pleading): Kris PLEASE don't do this! I promise you that we can trust Brisa! She will stick with us!

Deanne: Daphne's right. I'm not writing Brisa's name down. I understand why you're upset, Kris, but I want to make the logical decision here and that is to get rid of Peter. Especially since Peter has essentially publicly declared that he's against me!

Kris is literally the most stubborn man on the face of the Earth! God, I suddenly wish that Brisa was a better liar because then we would not be in this position! I must admit, Kris is a smart guy, but his one-track mind is causing him to make a completely stupid mistake! I mean, Peter is 200% AGAINST us! Brisa simply ran her mouth a little too much! This is just so bloody frustrating for me right now! (Sighs) Oh well, I've flat out declared to Kris that there's no chance in Hell that I'm writing Brisa's name down at all tonight and I know that the absolute LAST thing Kris wants to do is draw rocks. I just hope that was enough to knock some sense into him!

–Deanne Arbuthnot

As the camera fades out of Deanne's confessional, it turns to a shot of each of the six remaining villains grabbing their torches and heading towards Tribal Council as the sun begins to set.

Tribal Council[]

(Sohar walk into Tribal Council, place their torches in their slots, and sit down.)

Jeff: Well, at the last tribal council, there was a lot of talk about the conflicts at this tribe, specifically between Carlos and Kris, and how it's costing you guys challenges. However, even though Carlos is gone, you guys are once again, here at tribal. Peter, why do you think it is that this tribe keeps losing?

Peter (Serious tone): We thought that all of those childish arguments between Kris and Carlos were what was costing us challenges; but since we're back here again, maybe as a tribe, we just suck.

Bosco: If I may though, we DID manage to win the reward challenge, and I think we were pretty close in the immunity challenge. So obviously eliminating all of those conflicts helped us. It's just that Nizwa was slightly better today.

Jeff: So Brisa, with the numbers on this tribe continuing to get smaller and smaller, how do you guys make a decision as to who to get rid of?

Brisa: I think that trust needs to be a major factor. That said though, I think we also need to look at who we've placed our trust into and try not to over-think things. If we let our paranoia get the best of us, we will only make things worse.

(Deanne nods at Brisa's statement)

Jeff: Deanne, you agree with what Brisa said?

Deanne: Absolutely! For the vote tonight we need to think of K.I.S.S. aka, Keep it simple, stupid! We have to deal with what we know for sure and if we read too much into things, we may just screw ourselves over.

Jeff: So Kris, after tonight's vote, you guys will have 5 members to Nizwa's 8. Does challenge performance come into play at all for the vote?

Kris: Obviously we don't want to lose challenges if we don't have to. At the same time though, with a merge possibly coming up soon, we need to keep people here who we know will be loyal and get rid of people we can't trust. Simple as that.

Jeff: Alright, well it is time to vote. Deanne, you're up.

(Deanne goes up to cast her vote. She flicks her hair back as she takes off the pen and the camera fades out.)

(Bosco casts his vote. His vote for Brisa is shown to the public.)

Coming into this game, I think everyone here underestimated you. Brisa, you are certainly one dangerous, dangerous, player. If we don't get you out now, I doubt we ever will.

–Bosco Elliot

(Peter casts his vote. It is not shown.)

(Daphne casts her vote. It is not shown.)

(Brisa casts her vote. Her vote for Peter is shown to the public.)

Just a quick word of advice. Next time, don't make it so damn obvious that you're against somebody. Buh-bye.

–Brisa Martinez

(Kris casts his vote. We are simply shown Kris placing his vote in the urn before he returns to his seat.)

Jeff: I'll go tally the votes.

(Jeff leaves and returns a short time later with the urn.)

Jeff: If anybody has a Hidden Immunity Idol, and you want to play it, now would be the time to do so.

(No one moves.)

Jeff: Okay! Once the votes are read, the decision is final. The person voted out will be asked to leave the Tribal Council area immediately. I'll read the votes.

First vote... BRISA (1-0)

(Brisa nods, half expecting it)

Jeff: PETER. That's one vote Brisa, one vote Peter. (1-1)

(Peter's eyes widen as he was not expecting the vote due to his strength in challenges)

Jeff: BRISA. (2-1)

Jeff: PETER. We're tied again. Two votes Brisa, two votes Peter. (2-2).

Jeff: BRISA. We're at three votes Brisa, two votes Peter, one vote left. (3-2).

(Upon seeing the third vote, Brisa stiffens in shock and nervously stares at Jeff.)

Jeff: PETER... we have a tie.

(Everybody, especially Brisa, Peter, and Kris are shocked at the outcome of the vote. Kris angrily turns to Daphne and Deanne.)

Kris (Whispering): What the <expletive> was that? Do you not know how to listen?

Deanne (Whispering): We NEED to stick to the plan.

Jeff: Alright, here's how this will work. We are going to re-vote. Peter and Brisa you will not vote. Everyone else, you can ONLY vote for Peter or Brisa. It is time to vote. Deanne, you're up. Come take the urn please.

(Deanne lets out a sigh as she stands up to go take the urn from Jeff. The camera then shows close ups of Brisa then Peter, both appear extremely nervous. Deanne is then shown shaking her head as she places the urn back on the table and picking up the pen to write a name down)

(Bosco, Daphne, then Kris approach the voting podium in that order to cast their votes, none of which are shown. Once Kris sits back down with the tribe, the camera returns to Jeff.)

Jeff: I'll go get the votes.

(Jeff leaves to fetch the urn. Once he returns, he addresses the castaways.)

Jeff: I'll read the votes.

(Jeff opens the urn and pulls out the first vote)

Jeff: First vote... BRISA (1-0)

(Brisa shifts nervously in her seat)

Jeff: PETER. We're tied. One vote Brisa, one vote Peter. (1-1).

(Peter bites his lip nervously as his eyes remain fixed on Jeff)

Jeff: BRISA. We're at two votes Brisa, one vote Peter, one vote left. (2-1).

(Jeff pulls out the last vote and stares at it for a moment.)

Jeff:... Seventh person voted out of Survivor: Oman - Heroes vs. Villains... BRISA. You need to bring me your torch.

(Brisa's and Deanne's jaws drop wide open as both women are left speechless. Peter giggles and Bosco smirks as Kris looks at Deanne angrily. Brisa then turns towards Daphne who hangs her head out of pure guilt and sadness.)

Brisa (Shakes head): Wow, Daph! Just... wow!

(Brisa and Deanne stand up as Brisa picks up her bag and puts it around her shoulder. Brisa then whispers to Deanne)

Brisa: Win this for me, okay?

Deanne: You got it. I'll miss you, bitch.

Brisa (Giggles): I'll miss you too.

(Brisa and Deanne then share a quick hug before Deanne sits down and Brisa grabs her torch. As Brisa steps out in front of her former tribe, she takes one final look at Daphne.)

Brisa (Scoffs angrily): Well, I guess we all know who the REAL retard is now!!

(Everyone present is shocked at Brisa's remark. Daphne continues to hang her head as a single tear falls down her cheek. Deanne then clasps her hand over her mouth as she giggles uncontrollably)

Deanne: It's not funny. I swear to God, it's not funny. (Continues to giggle quietly)

(Brisa gives a slight smirk at Deanne's response before turning around to take her torch towards Jeff and placing it in the holder in front of him.)

Jeff: Brisa, the tribe has spoken.

(Jeff snuffs Brisa's torch)

Jeff: It's time for you to go.

(Without another word, Brisa leaves the tribal council area, and walks off into the night.)

Jeff: I don't think there's any question that this was the biggest blindside of the season so far. One important thing to take from this though, everyone's reaction tonight, especially Brisa's shows exactly how high emotions can run in a game like this. If you want to win, it's something that you should definitely keep in mind. Grab your torches and head back to camp. Good night.

Final Words[]

Well THIS sucks! I can't believe Daphne screwed me like that! I TRUSTED her when I didn't have to! There were SO MANY times in this game where I could have decided that her reputation for flipping was too damn risky and got her sent home! Now, I'm paying the price for being a friend in a cut-throat game! Sure, maybe calling her a retard was a little harsh. Rudy didn't deserve it when I called him that in Portland Bight; however, Daphne DID deserve it after her stunt tonight! At this point, I hope Deanne goes all the way and wins because it seems like she's the only one left in the game with a brain!

–Brisa Martinez

Voting Confessionals[]

Peter, you've made a huge mistake by declaring war on me. Whether or not you go home tonight, I guarantee that your days are numbered

–Deanne Arbuthnot

Coming into this game, I think everyone here underestimated you. Brisa, you are certainly one dangerous, dangerous, player. If we don't get you out now, I doubt we ever will.

–Bosco Elliot

I wish that this was Deanne's name so bad! However, I'm still fine with getting rid of you because you are such a conniving little snake. Bye

–Peter Frandson

(Sighs) Peter, for the sake of me and my alliance, there is no question that you need to go. Ugh! I just hope that Kris comes to his senses because I just don't know if I can handle the mere thought of a rock draw.

–Daphne Green

Just a quick word of advice. Next time, don't make it so damn obvious that you're against somebody. Buh-bye.

–Brisa Martinez

Brisa, you are such a terrible, terrible liar. You've made me look like a damn fool out here and I will not stand for it! Don't let the door hit you on your way out.

Next Time on Survivor[]

On Sohar, Deanne refuses to back down...

Each and every person on this tribe now disgusts me in their own special way. Sure, I'll put on a smile and pretend like nothing's wrong; but, this witch no longer plays nice. Mark my words, they will ALL go down at some point, and I will reign supreme!

–Deanne Arbuthnot

... as Peter vows to put the final nail in her coffin.

These people would be IDIOTS to align with Deanne! There is just no way she should be allowed to go any further!

–Peter Frandson

On Nizwa, Jason may be forced to make the one decision he dreads most...

I'm being forced to choose between my two best friends! This really, really sucks!

–Jason Drysdale

And cracks in the Alpha alliance become visible...

If Kyle thinks I'm just going to sit idly by and let him dictate my game for me, he's got another thing coming!

–Jordan Watson

Jordan needs to wake up and realize that all I want to do is make the move that gets us all the furthest! If he can't grasp that reality, I guarantee that things won't end pretty.

–Kyle James
