Twelve are left. Who will be eliminated next?

Challenges

Reward Challenge: Toolin' Around
Both tribes will make their way over a balance beam where they will use a crow bar to open a crate and retrieve a shovel. The shovel will be then be used to dig to find an axe, which will be used to chop a log that will release a rope holding two saws. The saws will be used to cut through a wall releasing planks. The planks will be used to complete a ramp that will get the entire tribe to the top of a platform where they must hammer three nails to break three tiles. The first tribe to break the tiles wins reward.
Reward: Barbecue feast that consists of steak, sausages, vegetables, bread, condiments, spices, and a barbecue grill
Winner: Warunta

Immunity Challenge: Shoulder the Load
Three members, two men and one woman, from each tribe will have a pole across their shoulders. Each round, bags that weigh 20 pounds will be added to that pole. The decision about which tribe member gets the weight will be made by the other tribe. When the weight becomes too much to bear, the tribe member will drop the pole and be out of the challenge. Last person left standing wins reward or immunity for their tribe.
Winner: Warunta

Story

Night 12

Segovia walked into camp after the last tribal council. Astrid's alliance did nothing except go in the shelter and sleep. Keena and Tevin stood next to tribe flag.

"I didn't see that one coming," Tevin said.

"I thought for certain it was going to be me," Keena told Tevin.

"I think they made it appear that it would be you going home and not Quinlan. They blindsided him for no reason. If they were targeting him all along, why not tell us. It's not like we could have done anything," Tevin started to rant.

"I know, but don't worry about that. He's gone. There is nothing that can change that," Keena told him. She went on, "I don't know about you but I'm going to go to bed."

Keena left Tevin at the flag.

Day 13

Toolin' Around

"Come on in, guys!"

The tribes entered the challenge arena. Warunta arrived first. Segovia was not far behind. Jeff said, "Warunta, getting your first look at the Segovia tribe. Quinlan was voted out at last tribal council."

"Oh no! I likely little Quinlan," Olive said.

"So are you guys ready for today's reward challenge? For today's challenge, both tribes will make your way over a balance beam where you will use a crow bar to open a crate and retrieve a shovel. What to know what you are playing for?"

Jeff uncovered the reward. He said, "The reward is a barbecue feast that will consist of steak, sausages, vegetables, bread, condiments, and a barbecue grill. You can use that grill to cook your meats and vegetables. After 12 days, I know that it is worth playing for. I'll give you a moment to strategize and we'll get started"

The tribes were ready. Jeff gave the go. Ivan and Tevin flew over the balance beam. Ivan tore into the crate. He took the shovel out and ran back. He was followed by Tevin.

Esther and Lester went out for the next round. Esther reached the sand first. She threw massive chunks of sand out of the area. Lester was doing the same. Maintained Warunta's lead by finding the axe first. She ran back to her tribe. Lester was right behind her.

Parker and Xavier were in the third phase of the challenge. Parker took the axe and made quick work of the log. He ran back as Xavier was still chopping. Reaching his tribe's mat, Parker took off again with Ivan. The two reached the saws. The two of them started cutting out the stairs. Xavier finally made his way through the wood block. He had lost a lot of ground against Warunta. By the time Tevin and Lester reached the wall, Parker and Ivan were on the second to last plank. Speeding through the final two, Parker and Ivan ran back to their mat.

Tevin and Lester were only through three planks when Esther and Piper reached the puzzle portion of the challenge. Esther told what pieces she needed to Piper and Piper gave her those pieces. The two of them flew through the puzzle portion of the of challenge. They finished as soon as Dennis and Lester finished sawing the wall.

Esther and Piper ran back to their tribes. Reaching the tribe, Warunta took off towards the final stage of the challenge. Olive started working on untying the knots on the hammer. Astrid and Dennis tried their best to catch up but Warunta was already too far ahead. Olive untied the hammer. She nailed the first nail, then the second, and finally the third, breaking all the tiles.

"Warunta wins reward!" Jeff announced. The tribes regrouped in front of Jeff. Jeff said, "This reward is yours, Warunta. Go and enjoy it. As for you, Segovia, I've got nothing. Go on and head out."

Oh hell yes! Meat, vegetables, bread. I am going to love this reward. I'm getting hungrier thinking about it.

–Parker Matheson

Segovia

"That frickin' sucks. I could have used that reward," Xavier said as they walked into camp.

"We all could have used that reward," Astrid told him.

"I don't know what happened, but Warunta sure stole the momentum," Tevin said, "It's like they voted out Erick and became three times as strong."

"I know," Keena said.

"I don't want to think about this anymore. Let's just go do things to get our minds off the reward," Dennis said.

"Fine by me," Astrid said.

I don't know what Warunta put in their water but they are on fire. I'm just bummed that we can't have an actual meal. I'm starving. One can only eat beans and rice for so long. We have a fishing kit but no one has caught any fish. I hate coconuts and I'm hungry enough to eat one. I just want a damn steak.

–Astrid Beaumont

Warunta

"Guys, we kicked ass today!" Parker said as he opened the packages of meat.

"We sure did," Esther replied.

Piper set up the grill. She told them, "Just give me a few minutes and I'll have these steaks cooking in no time."

"Really?" asked Ivan.

"Before I owned my own restaurant, I was the head chef of another. Being chefs and cooks is a family business. My sister owns a bakery in San Diego. My parents own another restaurant in Los Angeles. My family owns restaurants all around California," Piper told the others.

"Is that why you cook all our food?" asked Michelle.

"Yes, it is," Piper answered.

"That explains why our food never burns," Olive replied.

Piper cooked the meats and vegetables and the tribes enjoyed their first full meal since the game started.

Day 15

Shoulder the Load

"Come on in, guys!"

The tribe walked into the challenge arena and Jeff asked, "Are you guys ready for the next immunity challenge? First things first. Warunta, I'll take it back...Immunity back up for grabs. For today's challenge, three members, two men and one woman, from each tribe will have a pole across their shoulders. Each round, two bags that weigh 20 pounds will be added to that pole. The decision about which tribe member gets the weight will be made by the other tribe. When the weight becomes too much to bear, the tribe member will drop the pole and be out of the challenge. Last person left standing wins immunity for their tribe. Winner is safe. Loser goes to tribal council where one of you will be the next person voted out of this game. I'll give you a minute to choose who going to hold the poles and we'll get started."

Several minutes passed and the tribes were ready. Jeff announced, "Holding for Segovia are Dennis, Lester, and Keena. Holding for Warunta are Parker, Ivan, and Esther. Let's get this started. Choose your targets."

Warunta chose Lester. Segovia chose Ivan. Warunta chose Lester. Segovia chose Parker. Warunta chose Lester a third time. Segovia chose Esther. Warunta gave Lester the weight a fourth time. Segovia gave the fourth one to Ivan. Warunta chose Lester again. Segovia gave their weight to Parker. Warunta kept piling on the weight on Lester. Segovia continued the split strategy and gave their next weight to Esther. Lester started to struggle as he got the seventh choice from Warunta. He dropped out for Segovia and Ivan got another weight added on to him.

"Lester is out of this challenge for Segovia," Jeff said.

The current weights were:
Ivan: 60 pounds
Parker: 40 pounds
Esther: 40 pounds
Dennis: 0 pounds
Keena: 0 pounds
Lester: Out - 140 pounds

The tribes continued to put weight on the targets. Seven rounds later, Keena had received all the weight from Warunta. Segovia split the weight as they had. Keena could not hold the weight anymore and dropped out for Segovia only leaving Dennis for Segovia.

The current weights were:
Ivan: 100 pounds
Parker: 100 pounds
Esther: 80 pounds
Dennis: 0 pounds
Keena: Out - 140 pounds
Lester: Out - 140 pounds

Warunta had not choice. Only Dennis was their target. Segovia switched their strategy and added weight Ivan first. Three rounds in, Ivan dropped out. Their next target was Parker.

The current weights were:
Ivan: Out - 160 pounds
Parker: 100 pounds
Esther: 80 pounds
Dennis: 60 pounds
Keena: Out - 140 pounds
Lester: Out - 140 pounds

Warunta and Segovia piled on the weight on Dennis and Parker. Six rounds later, Parker and Dennis were feeling the weight pile on. Esther was standing there watching the two of them with their poles. That put Parker at 220 pounds and Dennis was at 180 pounds. Both men started to struggle a bit. It was time for weight to be added to them. Parker reached 240 pounds. Dennis reached 200 pounds.

"Parker is at 240 pounds. If he and Dennis last until the next weight, Parker will tie John's record of 260 pounds in this challenge set last season," Jeff said.

Parker didn't the record. Dennis couldn't hold on anymore and dropped out. Warunta won its fourth challenge in a row. Parker and Esther dropped their weights.

The final weights were:
Ivan: Out - 160 pounds
Parker: Won - 240 pounds
Esther: Won - 80 pounds
Dennis: Out - 200 pounds
Keena: Out - 140 pounds
Lester: Out - 140 pounds

"Warunta wins immunity!" Jeff announced. The tribes returned to their mats. Jeff gave immunity back to Warunta, "Once again you are safe, Warunta. Congratulations. Segovia, I'll see you tonight where one of you will be voted out of the game. I'll give you the afternoon to think about it. Go ahead and head out."

That was terrible. I would have thought Parker would have dropped out, but this guy just keeps on going. Parker is insane. I didn't want to, but I had to square off against King Kong out there. That was not fun.

–Dennis Coleman

Segovia

"So what do we do now?" asked Xavier.

"We vote out one of the remaining Segovia members. I don't know or care which one. It doesn't matter," Astrid answered.

"She's right," Dennis agreed, "I don't care as long as it's not one of us."

"It's not going to be one of us," Astrid replied.

"Then we choose who goes home tonight right now," Xavier told the others.

The group chose the next victim and waited until tribal that night.

Tribal Council

Pre-Votes

Segovia came in to tribal council, Jeff interviewed the tribe, and everyone knew that it was either Tevin or Keena going home. Jeff told Astrid to start the voting.

Voting Confessionals

It's me or you. Here's hoping it's you.

–Tevin Southern

Hope I dodge another bullet tonight and that said bullet hits you.

–Keena Flowers

Votes

Jeff let and returned with the urn. He said, "The person with the highest number of votes will be asked to leave the tribal council area immediately. I'll read the votes."

First vote: Keena
Second vote: Tevin
Third vote: Tevin
Fourth vote: Tevin

"The fifth person voted out of Survivor: La Mosquitia: Tevin. That four votes; that's enough. Please bring me your torch."

Tevin brought Jeff his torch, "Tevin, the tribe has spoken."

Tevin left tribal council. Jeff turned back to the tribe, "One more tribe member down. Hopefully, that was the right choice to turn this tribe around. Go on and head out."

Final Words

It was a fun run. I don't think I did enough to stay alive in the game. I don't know if any original Segovia member stands a chance, but I hope one of us do.
