Story

Day 19

Table Mountain

The Table tribe weren't in a very good mood, once again. They were still frustrated that they were loosing all the time. Then Gertha showed everyone a note she had found.

Gertha: Tree mail, people.
Cameron: Sweet! What does it say?
Gertha: "Table. The merge has arrived, but not everyone will make it. Pack your stuff and prepare for challenge. Jeff."

This is what we have been waiting for. The game doesn't really start before the merge.

–Gertha

Yeah, the merge is great. I'm a little worried about that "not everyone will make it". I'm sure I'll be fine, but I can't help it but be worried.

–Earl

Shoshone Mountain

On Shoshone, they had received the same note.

Finally. Now I just have to win some challenges. I can win this. I'm sure of it.

–Samson

As long as I survive this challenge, I'll be good. I mean, I still have two idols.

–Rob

Challenge

As the two tribes arrived, Jeff was standing by fourteen poles.

Jeff: Welcome. This is your final challenge before the merge. However, two of you will not make it to the merge. We are about to find out who. You have to hold onto your pole for as long as you can. The first two people to let go, is out of Survivor. Does everyone understand?
Everyone: Yes!

Everyone lasted 6 minutes, but then people began getting problems.
The first person to get in trouble was Helle. She was slowly sliding down, but eventually she got her grib again.
Both Cameron and Rob were struggling as well.
But after a little more than 7 minutes, Brown had to give up. She let go and fell down onto the ground.
They all continued 2 minutes more. Helle, Cameron, Samson, Rob, Lysander and Earl all had trouble.
In the end, after 11 minutes, Samson gave up. He let go as well.
He was followed by everyone else.

Jeff: Good job everyone. Impressive. Brown, Samson. I'm sorry, but the two of you are out of Survivor. The rest of you have made it to the merge. Drop your buffs, take these. From now on, you are all going to live on Tulle Mountain. Get there, set up camp. I'll see you all tomorrow.

Tulle Mountain

Everyone was cheering as they got to Tulle Mountain. A table with food was set and everyone sat down to enjoy it.

Trenton: Hey, everyone. Congrats on making it to the merge, and good luck in the future.
Bobby: You too, man.

I don't want to get into trouble with the Shoshone people. They are seven, we are five.

–Bobby

No, I'm not worried. We're one tribe now. Free for all, right?

–Earl

We have agreed to vote out all the former Table people.

–Trenton

In the evening, Al found a snake when going to bed. He killed it and began arguing with Earl and Marcus whether or not it was edible.

Earl: Bright colors are dangerous, isn't that the saying?
Marcus: That's for frogs, right?
Earl: I don't know. It does have those stripes.
Al: We will be fine eating it.
Marcus: Yeah, I'm sure.
Earl: Alright, let's try. What's the worst that could happen, besides dying?

Earl is a great guy, sure. Well, I do like most of the Table people, but a deal is a deal.

–Marcus

I do not like the Table people. They think they have a chance here, they do not. One by one, we are voting them out.

–Al

Day 20

Tulle Mountain

In the morning, Bobby took Gene and Trenton out setting up traps.

Trenton: This is impressive, Bobby. How much meat did you guys get over there?
Bobby: Not much, but it was better than nothing. There seems to be living more on this mountain than on Table, so we're crossing out fingers.
Trenton: Well, good job.

Meanwhile, Cameron and Rob were arguing.

Rob: Are you seriously asking why I don't have a job? It's not like it's the easiest thing in the world to get a job.
Cameron: I'm 19 and I have a job. I just don't see why you think...
Rob: Think what? What you are saying makes no sense. You don't think I want a job?
Helle: Guys, come on. We have a challenge in a bit.
Rob: Stay out of this, Helle.

Rob is the worst, and the way he argues with Cameron is just... Rob has to go. Unfortunately, he has those idols.

–Helle

Challenge

The tribe arrived to the challenge. Jeff was standing by 12 crates.

Jeff: Welcome. In this challenge, you will all chop a piece of wood to fit in a hole in your crate. This triggers a mechanism, allowing you to get a bunch of puzzle pieces. Assemble the puzzle first, you win immunity. Assemble it last, you go to council tomorrow with one vote on you from the start. Does everyone understand?
Everyone: Yes!

Tulle Mountain

Bobby, Gene and Earl got aside as soon as they all got back to Tulle. Cameron and Gertha followed a bit after.

Bobby: We have a problem. It's one of us five that goes tomorrow.
Gene: If we can get two, or just one, to vote Marcus with us, then we have a chance.
Bobby: Who should that be?
Cameron: Okay, I don't trust Rob, but he's a Shoshone outsider. Our best bet.
Bobby: Right, I'll go talk to him.
Gertha: What about Lysander? He's so sweet and he must understand.
Bobby: That's probably our best bet. Rob and Lysander. Gertha, are you gonna talk to Lysander?
Gertha: Sure.

It's nice being a part of an alliance. In Table I was an outsider, the next one to follow Gloria. Here, I'm just another contestant, just like the others.

–Gertha

While Gertha talked to Lysander, Bobby pulled Rob aside.

Bobby: You probably know what this is about.
Rob: I do.
Bobby: We want you to vote for Marcus. If you do it, we're gonna have your back in the future.
Rob: Right...
Bobby: I'm serious, Rob.
Rob: So am I. I'll think about it.
Bobby: Please do.
Rob: I will. It's not a bad offer.
Bobby: Yeah. Just think about it, okay?
Rob: Sure.
Bobby: Thanks, buddy.

Day 21

Council

At the council, the first thing they were told to do, was to light a torch and set it behind them. They did that, and then Jeff began talking.

Jeff: Welcome to council. Earl, how is the merge?
Earl: It's great. These people are so nice to be with.
Jeff: Al, do you agree?
Al: In a way. Sure, they are nice people, but I don't want them in this game.
Jeff: Who are 'they'?
Al: Table.
Jeff: Aha. Gene, do you have any idea what the alliances look like at the moment?
Gene: It's pretty clear. It's Table versus Shoshone.
Jeff: Is that fair?
Gene: No, it's not. But it's the game, I guess.
Jeff: Before we begin the council, Rob, do you want to use an idol?
Rob: I do.
Jeff: Fair enough. One by one, you go up and write the name on the person you want out of Survivor. You have to vote, you can't vote for yourself. You can't vote for Bobby or Rob. In case of tie, it will be settled by duel. Bobby, you're up.

One by one, they all went up and wrote the names on the people they wanted out. After everyone had voted, Jeff got the urn and began revealing the notes.
He kept turning the votes until there was 6 on Marcus and 6 on Cameron.

Jeff: That means there is one vote left. If that vote is on either Marcus or Cameron, that person is out of Survivor. If it's on someone else, the two of you will go into a duel. The last votes comes here... seventh person voted out of Survivor is... Cameron. Cameron, get your torch, get up here.
Cameron got up and got his torch. Jeff put it out with the words 'the tribe has spoken'.
