So, I'm sure a lot of you by now have realized that my season, Survivor: Inagua Island, has suffered from about ten bazillion setbacks and hiatuses. And, if you're an activity stalker like I can be, you'll know that I just put my season under ANOTHER hiatus that'll last for like a month or maybe longer. In lieu of seeing several other cancellation blog posts, I have, sadly, decided to cancel Survivor: Inagua Island. You have no idea how much I've wanted to get it all written down, and how excited and how thought out the plan for it is. I love this cast, and the twists and shocks and plotlines. I just cannot seem to find the time or motivation to actually write it.
You all know my track record on how often I update, and at the rate I'm going, it would probably take another year before I even reach the merge. I think a lot of my feelings can actually be summed up in how Tozza phrased it in his blog post about Haiti. He had mentioned that while he loved Survivor, he wasn't interested in writing it at the moment. He had mentioned he wasn't having fun with it. I'm feeling that right now. I've really tried and tried and tried with it, and while I enjoy the season as a whole, I'm struggling with writing it and it feels like a chore and something I feel guilty over because of how long I've been trying to write it. It's gotten to the point to where I have trouble separating the characters because I've, like, lost touch with their personalities, if that makes sense.
I'm sorry for, you know, all this and I hope you guys are okay with my decision and not disappointed in me or the season or my motivation with this season. I don't really have much other to say than I'd like to maintain creative license over my characters, location, and logo if that's available, and I'll edit in the boot order below. If you have any questions, I'll answer them to the best of my ability. Again, I'm sorry for how this has all turned out. There's some other stuff involved that regards life offline, so if you have questions about that, just hit me up and I'll explain it. Thank you to whoever read it and/or gave compliments and like, I hope you have faith when I start Maluku Islands.
